A little over nine months after Bella is Bitten

Bella's point of view

They sound very close now, the wolves should be emerging any second. I can hear their thunderous heartbeats their loud panting and the heavy sounds of their quick footfalls through the forest. The animals in the area scatter at the loud noises as they echo out and reach them, they are so loud when compared to our almost silent steps. The green leafy vegetation directly across the creek shifts and first a giant wolf head can be seen hovering six feet in the air as its body emerges so to two other giant wolf heads on either side just behind the first, and then another two. The five wolves emerge slowly appearing cautiously from the tree line in a V-shape.

In the center is the largest one by far, an enormous jet-black wolf with a commanding presence, a clear Alpha. They are huge, about the height of a great horse but with more of a rounded filled in shape to them resembling the girth of a well-fed bear. Their towering presence is intimidating, everything about them screams lethal. I glance back and take stock of my delicate looking form swathed in a pale pink dress and feel completely outmatched. If it comes down to a face-off with the Volturi, Jasper is right there presence is our best chance in halting the Volturi.

Jasper shifts in front of Alice and Carlisle does the same with Esme but when Edward attempts it I stand firm beside him, I squeeze his hand to let him know I'm fine and smile comfortingly as he makes eye contact. I can help feeling inwardly guilty staring into his warm loving eyes, he will be terrified when he figures out I am gone and headed into potential danger, even if it is minimal for me.

I can't think of that right now, not with Edward's keen eyes watching me, instead of the wolves. I break our eye contact after a reassuring nod, and look back to the wolves. They certainly are intimidating, I don't want them to see fear when they look at me so I smile warmly hoping one day they won't see me as an enemy. They are good and protect, they even saved my life so I know if we make the effort to see past wolf and vampire we could all become friends.

The lead wolf halts and so do the others only an instant after. On the right side of the Alpha, there is a chocolate-brown wolf with darker coloring around the face, behind him is a pale gray wolf with black-spotted fur. On the left side, there is a wolf with dark silver fur and behind him is the second-largest wolf a deep russet brown colored wolf.

Emmitt takes another step towards the creek nearly at its edge, the chocolate brown wolf looks nervously between Emmitt and the lead wolf and growls bearing its large razor-sharp teeth at Emmitt. The wolf's whole body looks tense and coiled as if ready to spring. Edward beside me warns "Watch out Emmitt he is headed for you." The brown wolf lurches forward towards Emmitt, the speed of the attack is nothing Emmitt can't doge but instead, he braces in an offensive position rather than avoid the attack.

The large Wolf makes it halfway across the creek and then impacts with my shield, I can feel the pressure where it impacts, soft like a featherlight touch. I hear a cracking sound on impact, most certainly a broken bone. The animals attacking force when he hit my shield hurled him back hard and he lands in a crumpled state on the floor back near where he was standing.

Emmitt still poised for the attack looks shocked. Edward doesn't look shocked but impressed and knowing, he confirms by asking me quietly "was that you?"

I nod, and turn towards the large whimpering wolf with concern, telling Edward just as quietly, "I hope he is ok, they did save my life."

Edward quickly reassures me "The wolf will be fine, his mind is too angry and confused right now he is not feeling much of the pain right now. Bella, it's not your fault he attacked, you were just protecting Emmitt."

The largest Black wolf turns and sniffs the hurt wolf then makes his way in front of him protectively the others move to readjust their formation back into a V-shape. The second-largest wolf, the russet-colored one, moves out of formation to check on its hurt comrade. The hurt wolf gets up and looks stunned and unsure what happened. He whimpers when he puts weight on his right front paw.

I feel guilty and walk forward a few paces, Edward follows close behind me. I nod towards the whimpering wolf "I am sorry you got hurt, my shield is in place only to protect us." Then I look to the Black wolf who seems to be in charge and tell him "we don't mean you any harm but I do currently have a shield around my entire family so please, don't attempt an attack, you may hurt yourselves."

After a moment I smile appreciatively and say "you saved my life a while back and I wanted to thank your pack." Panning my head to look at each of them I say " I sincerely thank you all for what you have done for me. You may not recall, but you saved my life nine months ago."

The wolfs show no recollection in their deminers but the black one looks me over curiously then nods its giant wolf head as if to clear it. I move back to where I was before, and Edward follows beside me.

He whispers low "you confused them love, they do not recognize you. Sam thinks you look familiar though he finds you perplexing, he can join the club." Edward chuckles drawing the attention of our family who disregards it quickly and turns their attention back to the wolves.

"Understanding will come when they realize who I am, which is bound to happen soon.

Carlisle moves to where I stood. "I am a doctor, that leg should be looked at and I would be happy to do so."

Edward answers gesturing subtlety in the large black wolf's direction "Sam's thoughts are of distrust and contempt for us, they won't accept your help Carlisle. Sam was just thinking that it's not necessary anyway, they heal faster than most humans, Jared the hurt wolf will be fine in a half-hour."

Looking concerned Carlisle looks to the hurt wolf. "I heard the leg brake when it impacted with the shield, even if you heal fast the break should be set or it could heal wrong. Your friend Jared could develop a limp."

Edward frowns and then answers once again. "He is insistent that we are not to be trusted, he wants to know if we plan to stay in town and why we have come back. He claims we are not welcome here anymore."

Carlisle still looking at Sam kindly seeming to outwardly disregard any animosity relayed through Edward. He warmly answers "we came back to warn you about a potential danger." He indicates Alice with a gesture. "My daughter Alice is gifted, she can see the future. There is a large powerful Coven that acts to keep our kind a secret, through the centuries when they feel someone is jeopardizing the secrecy they have struck and wiped out the offenders, they do not show leniency or remorse."

Carlisle for a split second looks sad, he continues after a brief pause. "They also occasionally investigate disputes and injustices felt by others of our kind. Alice has seen them plan an attack against your pack, they wish to eliminate your kind."

Edward says towards us in a low voice, "The majority of them suspect us of trying to trick them, they have been raised to distrust our kind since birth." He looks to Sam "It is not a trick, Alice really can see the future. She does it the same way I read minds, many of our kind have special abilities, like Bella with her shields." As Edward says my name a smile plays upon his lips and he can't seem to help moving a little closer.

At the mention of my name the russet-colored wolf howls and then stares in my direction intently, after a while he makes a pained sound. soon the others follow suit and all the wolves are staring at me with open mouths and curious eyes. The chocolate brown one snarls in my direction, and the other wolves begin making rumbling noises until all at once it stops as if commanded.

well, I guess the cats out of the bag, they know who I am.

Carlisle continues, ignoring the interruption. "Alice has seen a vampire named Anara ask the Volturi, the coven I mentioned before, for help in destroying you. They have deemed your pack dangerous and have decided it would be in our kinds best interest to eliminate you. In the vision, Anara mentioned that you Killed a red-headed vampire named Victoria about nine months ago, this is the sole charge against you, the reason they come."

Edward frowns, looking a little annoyed and offended. "Sam doesn't think we would come back just to warn them, he thinks we are hiding something or telling half-truths."

Carlisle answers in a calm gentle manner "It is not our intention to hide anything from you, we Intend to tell you everything and would appreciate you hearing us out. You are right though, we did come back for more than to warn you, but it was never our intention to hide the fact. "

The wolves make more rumbling noises and Sam cuts them off with a short commanding growl.

Edward says "Sam will hear us out."

Carlisle mannerism is very open and relaxed as he talks to Sam. "Thank you Sam, my family and I appreciate your willingness to hear what we have to say. I will start by answering your first question, we came back to stand with you. You have done us a great service when you saved Bella, she is a part of our family and someone we dearly want to protect. Bella is in the eyes of those hunting you just as guilty for the same transgression, her scent lingered where Victoria was killed and it was believed you worked together. They hunt her as well as your pack."

Sam's large wolf head looks from Carlisle to me. Edward looks at me with concern and hesitates looking unsure. "Sam was pondering why you left. He doesn't understand how you could leave Charlie." The russet wolf snorts and does a short nod of agreement.

It's not like I wanted to leave Charlie, I love my dad and it has been frustrating that to protect him he has to think I am dead. I have agonized over both Charlie and Renee since the day I opened red eyes instead of brown. They cant imagen the pain I feel having my loved ones so close but forever unreachable. I look into Sam's curious eyes and wonder if he can see the suffering in mine. "I didn't want to leave, but you know why I had to. You said it that day you killed Victoria, You were talking to Embry and said Charlie can't know about either of our kind and I agree with you. I love my dad but he is safer not knowing and his safety is the most important thing, much more than what I desire for myself."

Charlie looked physically healthy this morning but it worries me that his room was so dysfunctional. "How is he" I ask Sam with considerable curiosity and a hint of a sad smile.

Edward wraps a comforting arm around me. He kisses my cheek and tells me in a soft voice, "Sam said he remembers and understands your choice. Jacob said his dad and Charlie go fishing every few weeks but for the most part Charlie is either at work or home. He is getting better at trying not to look so sad but he still misses you like crazy."

I guess Carlie has never been a social light so if not too out of the normal but he used to have Billy over for the game. Maybe I can get Jacob to arrange more playdates between our dads.

I look back up and inspect each wolf closely. "which one is Jacob?" The russet one takes a step forward.

I step forward as well asking, "Jacob?"

The wolf nods his large head. "It's so good to see you, I was worried about you. After I was bitten I remembered hearing Sam talk about how you had a fever and would be joining them. I suppose we both changed into what we are now around the same time. I am glad you are ok."

Edward kindly relays. "he says, never been better."

Sam growls in obvious annoyance and Jacob's body tenses and he moves back to his place in their formation.

Carlisle continues were he left off. "We have fault in this as well, but like you, we are not guilty of anything more than protecting our family. When Bella was still human Victoria's mate James hunted her and he had to be destroyed to protect Bella. That is why Victoria was here, she was looking for revenge. She was either trying to find us or looking to hurt us by killing Bella. We have our share of blame in bringing this about but we again like you, only were doing what was right, protecting Bella."

Edward answering something Sam must have asked says, "Bella means everything to me, more than my own life, of course we would have protected her above another of our kind. "

Carlisle nods in agreement with Edward then smiles at me quickly before he continues. "When the Volturi come they will not give you a chance to fight back, I know you five are strong but what use does strength have when you are blind and immobilized. The Volturi collect gifted and have some with abilities that could render you all defenseless in a matter of seconds. So what we seek this morning is to join our two families when they arrive and become stronger as one, we can also teach you what we know about our common enemy and how they fight."

"Sam asks if we will share information about abilities even if they won't fight with us. He is undecided on aligning with our kind but is intrigued to know what powers they possess in case a fight is on the way."

Carlisle answers immediately "yes, that won't be a problem. I long ago lived with this coven and know some of there abilities. We have family visiting that will arrive today, one of them will know more than I."

Edward shakes his head in Sam's direction. "No, they are like us and live off the blood of animals. The humans are in no greater danger than before."

After a pause, Carlisle continues. "The Volturi have a habit of deciding one's fate and not giving the accused a chance to explain, we plan to make them listen to us. One way is by joining with you, they know of your kind only vaguely and would approach with caution. A moment of caution may be all we need. The other is by having witnesses, we asked our extended family not to fight but witness, they will add to our number and watch what occurs when the time comes. The Volturi like to present themselves as fair rulers so our own witnesses may give them pause."

"Sam wishes to know what we will do if they pause?"

"If they do, we would tell them that both James and Victoria sealed their fate by hunting what was not theirs to hunt. Bella was under our protection, it was well within our rights to defend her. We also plan to tell them how grateful we are towards your pack for protecting her. We owe you all a debt of gratitude for what you have done and you are being persecuted instead. We will tell the Volturi of our treaty, out of respect for us, the family settled in this territory they should respect it and not harm you if a peaceful understand has been reached between them and us."

Edward adds "Bella's shield will protect us from their gifted, this will give us a lot of leverage. It is a protection that we wish to extend to your entire pack. I don't think the Volturi have a vampire with a gift that can match her. Joining us is your best chance of survival."

After a moment Sam turns and trots into the trees. Edward says, "Sam wishes to talk to us personally he will be back shortly."

A few of the wolves start to get antsy but then Sam emerges and they settle back down. He looks similar to what I remember tall muscular with a natural tan, he is wearing only some jean shorts that go to his knee ending in frayed fabric. That must have been the cloth I saw tied to his hind leg. He walks back to his previous leadership position. In a deep begrudging voice he says "Bella is very powerful that is obvious, but can she shield us and if she can would you risk it, we are your enemy."

Carlisle tells Sam matter-a-factly, "We have never carried any hostility towards your people. I see no reason we should not shield you, Bella is the only one however that could answer whether it is possible." He looks to me with an abundance of confidence.

"I would like to first say that I feel as Carlisle does, you are not my enemy, and Jacob is practically family. As for shielding you, I don't see any reason why I wouldn't be able to. My shield has enveloped and protected anything living that I have willed it to."

Sam looks at Carlisle and says hesitantly, "The pack will join you, we will fight this battle together." Then he looks at me and, with reluctance, says " I can see you are our best chance."

Carlisle tells Sam "excellent but we hope a fight won't be necessary."

Sam shrugs. "But if it is, I intend to be ready, the pack won't be caught off guard." There are huffs of agreement from behind him echoed by all the wolves.

"We, of course, will be prepared for the worst but I am hopeful this can all be resolved peaceably. Now that we're allies in this, how about letting me take a look at that arm of Jared's," Carlisle asks hopefully.

In answer, Sam says " Jared you can phase back." Jared makes his way into the forest limping and the Jacob wolf follows him. Soon after, a very tall fifteen-year-old Jacob's emergesstretching out his long limbs he is with Jared a boy that's a bit leaner but looks a few years older. They are similarly dressed to Sam with no shoes or shirts Jacob has some holey sweatpants and Jared some basketball shorts.

Jared walks over to Sam's side holding his right arm against himself looking a bit like a wounded puppy with a hurt paw. They together cross the creek and join Charlie who now stands next to Esme once again. Sam asks Carlisle more questions while he looks over an anxious Jared. Edward smiles at me then he and jasper walk over and joins the conversation with Sam. Edward seemed keen all morning on not leaving my side so I wonder what prompted his curiosity, maybe something Sam thought or an idea of Jaspers.

Having no interest in their preparation I stay put to concentrate on my own planning and thoughts over how this all turned out. I am happy they agreed to stand with us but also wish they hadn't. I fear for Jacob and the others, they may turn into giant wolves but they're still young and human.

Jacob's youthful face fills me with guilt, I caused this to happen and he could die. I should have followed my instincts and settled this myself, not involved more potential casualties. I can't let all these people, badass wolf form or not, fight in a dangerous battle that I could have prevented.

This all started with me and I can end it. I can go to the Volturi and convince them I am innocent, these people don't need to make a dangerous stand. I know nothing wrong has truly been done and so if they are a just governing body as they claim to be, then they will not contrive to see more then there is here. If I fail and the Volturi's course of action does not change, then I will return home and stand with my family and the wolves knowing I did everything I could to prevent it.

Maybe I can slip away, get far enough before they notice so that preventing me is an impossibility. Alice not being able to see me has never been more convenient, but she will want another session with my shield down now that the wolves have joined us. Their joining us would change things and she is going to want to check it out. That means I need to leave soon, very soon if I can plan it with a high enough probability of success.

Jacob walks over to me, he stops right in front of me with a large grin across his face. "Hey Bella, wow you look so… different. I don't think Charlie could even recognize you now, don't blame me for not before."

"It's ok Jacob I have changed a lot so I don't fault you for not recognizing me. I am still the same old Bella though, its only my appearance and eating habits that have changed." I give him a playful smile "And If we're going to talk about things changing what about you, you turn into a giant dog."

"A wolf and you wish you were that cool. What's it like being a bloodsucker?"

He has too much warmth in his voice for that truly to be an insult so I laugh and say "well its better than being dead." Jacob looks at the ground like he feels bad about bringing it up so I add "It's great, I have never felt so alive. I do miss my dad and mom though, but it's not like they can see me looking like this." I gesture to myself and Jacob looks me over and his cheeks flush when he notices me observing him do so.

He comments "I have never met a vampire before today, I didn't expect you would be so attractive, I pictured fangs and black clothing. Even my dad is constantly going on about how dangerous and evil you all are but you seem the same to me, but you do look unusually dressed up for a run through the forest Bella."

I look at myself and smile because I see his point. "Jacob, a run through the forest is a daily occurrence not something I change into hiking gear to do anymore." Looking at Alice over my shoulder, I say "I also have a new sister who I think would object if I tried to wear hiking clothes." Alice gives a nod of agreement.

Jacob answers "oh, ok." Then he fidgets and stammers "You do look good, it's just a bit odd in this setting is all."

Jacob's heartbeat accelerates and his tan skin brightens.

"Are you ok, your heart rate is off the charts"

Looking a little shy he shrugs and replies "it's a wolf thing." Then quickly change the subject. "So besides dying and mortal danger, what's up?"

I can't help but laugh at how casually he said that and Jacob joins in. "well I enrolled in college, I am playing hooky from class as we speak."

Ginning wide Jacob gives an approving nod. "walking on the wild side, I like it"

"Well, I think the situation warranted it. I had to come and protect a certain wolf, if Charlie didn't think I was dead he would kill me if I let you get hurt."

"Sure, sure, your probably right Charlie would want his vampire daughter and best friend's Wolf transforming son to team up and fight the incredibly powerful group of vampires with special supernatural abilities. oh right, and they happen to want both of us on the dinner menu." With a little extra teasing and a goofy grin, he says "your right Charlie would be tickled pink."

"If it makes you feel better they don't literally want our blood, just to kill us. Your smell is so unappetizing I couldn't imagine them wanting to drink you." I do an awkward laugh realizing belatedly how awful that sounded.

Jacob retorts with a chuckle "well you don't exactly smell of roses."

Playfully I bump his shoulder with mine. "I didn't mean to offend, it was meant to be comforting."

"Oh, gotcha yeah well that's not exactly comforting either." He nervously rubs the back of his neck sending his strong wolfy smell to me. We meet each other's eyes and simultaneously brake into a laugh. His expression is so warm and carefree for someone that just found out there in danger, but I guess mine is too.

When we stop laughing Jacob randomly asks, "so do you sleep in a coffin in the basement."

That question sounds strangely familiar, laughing I shake my head. "nope, I don't sleep at all. Do you sleep in a kennel in the yard with JACOB nameplate above it?"

"My dad wishes, he is always complaining about my snoring. He says I howl in my sleep and make wolf noises."

"Awww Jake, do you chase your tail in your sleep?"

Jacob looks grumpy as he says "NO" then jokes "Maybe I could put my bed in the garage after I finish building my car, that could be my kennel. You could make me a nameplate out of a tree with that monster strength of yours if you want."

"Jake don't move into the garage it will be too cold for you, why don't you try sleeping in a different position or something. I can still make you the nameplate if you wish for your bedroom door."

"I don't think a different position is possible, my legs already hang a foot off the end. The couch in the garage is actually more comfortable."

"What, no wonder you snore Jacob, your still young and you need decent sleep I have a bed that's practically new if you want it. It's in an apartment in Seattle I rented for the year, the lease is up in a few months and the bed is completely unused."

"au I don't know"

"Please you would be doing me a favor."

"I guess if you're sure you don't need it."

"I am certain, remember I don't sleep. It was just a big prop that I don't use anymore. I was going to get rid of everything in that apartment if you see anything else you want when we go to get the bed. Anything you take would be a big help, and one less thing for me to do."

"Thanks, Bella that's really nice of you."

"Don't mention it." Maybe this can be the excuse I was looking for. Edward will think I am with Jacob or getting the mattress and frame while I catch a flight. I can meet Jacob with his dad's truck and we could drive to get the bed and after I help him load it, I can head to the airport as he heads home. I grin like an idiot happy to have the semblance of a plan worked out.

"Jake do you have a phone number I can reach you at, maybe you can borrow your dad's truck and we can drive together to pick up the bed."

"No not really are house phone is busted again. You can leave me a message at the corner store by my house"

I take out my phone it's a basic flip phone with an unlimited plan and hands it to him. "Here take mine I'll get a new one and text you my number. It's only got Edwards number in it and is unused."

"I can't take your phone." He states it mater-of-factly as if it were a big deal, it reminds me of the abstinent gift receiver I was.

"consider it a birthday present."

Chuckling he argues, "It's not my birthday Bella."

"fine late birthday present" I argue right back.

"If I take the phone will this stop." After I nod he takes the phone and grins wide at the smile it provokes from me. I am excited to have a way to reach him. I can cheek for flights out of Seattle and time my meeting with Jacob accordingly.

Edward walks over to join us. "I didn't know you two were so well acquainted."

Jacob smiles at me, seeming happy with our easy friendship. "well we did as children have a few lunch dates where we ate mud pies. Well, Bella is the only one that actually took I bite."

Edward has a flash of annoyance to quick for Jacob to notice before it morphed into curiosity. I clarify about the mud eating. "Charlie and Jacob's dad are best friends, We have known each other since we were babies. That's when the mud eating occurred and It has been a great long while since any mud eating has occurred."

Jacob grins big and playfully punches my shoulder. "You sure, you seemed to enjoy it?"

"Positive I much prefer a nice Mountain Lion these days."

"But not wolf, right?" he says with a nervous hesitant smile.

I can't help but laugh at his expression "no, I can't say I have had a wolf before."

Emmitt from across the way whispers "I have, you're not missing anything."

I guess I understand his unease, he probably thinks of wolves as distant relations. Chucking I say, "Your brethren are safe from me Jake. As a kindness to you I will refrain from hunting them, they aren't very large anyway I'd have to have an entire pack to… never mind." The look Jake was giving read as horrified so I trailed off.

Edward takes my hand distracting me from Jacob. "We are going soon, there just finishing up with the logistics of our new alliance."

Jacob looks a little disappointed frowning at the prospect of me leaving. Honestly, I'll miss him too, he is so easy to talk to and has such a calming effect. I don't think I have laughed so much since Alice had that vision of the Volturi and Anara. I frown too wishing Jacob would come back to the house with us, I could show him all the cars the Cullen's have, he would probably enjoy that.

Edward coaxes a smile from myself and Jacob when he tells me "We will see the wolves tonight when we meet to go over techniques and abilities. In the meantime, we should test your shield out today."

I nod and say goodby to Jacob making sure to be gentle as I hug him. "I am happy we were able to reestablish our friendship Jake, I'll text you my new number and call to make plans to get that bed together."

"Okay sounds good." He nods and then looks at our intertwined hands and back up at my face with a smile. "so see you tonight Bella… and …"

"Edward" I supply

Edward kindly inspects the tall teen. "It was nice meeting one of Bella's friends from childhood, I am glad you were able to reconnect. Please, Jacob, feel free to ask me if you ever find yourself in need of help, if you are important to Bella, then your important to me."

Jacob asks skeptically, "well, do you know where I could find an engine for a 1986 Volkswagen Rabbit?"

"I know a place that might have one, I can always cheek."

"Oh, that's ok, I was only kidding."

Edward smiles at a shy looking Jacob. "yes you do, don't be concerned about putting me out, it's no problem."

Jacob looks annoyed as he turns to me and whispers, "do you ever get used to the mind-reading?" and he nods not so suddenly to Edward.

"With my shield, it hasn't been a problem. It would have if he could read my mind though, here." I reach my shield out to cover him feeling his warm sunset orange energy safely within. "Now your thoughts are safe, feel free to think in peace." I smile at Edward as Jacob looks jubilant. I wonder what he is so happy to hide.

"Thanks, Bella"

Edward chuckles at the two of us. "I'll let you know I find the part Jacob."

Sam calls over to Jacob "Were leaving phase back Jacob."

Jacob moves to go but looks over his shoulder and gives me one last warm smile and a "goodbye Bells" then he is off and out of sight, the last of them to disappear.

I am still looking at the forest where they disappeared when Edward wraps his arms around me from behind and leans his face down close to mine. "So you're going to Seattle with Jacob?"

"Yeah I thought it would be nice to hang out and he needs a new bed, two birds one stone. I hope billy doesn't make a fuss about that bed coming from a vampire."

"He might but Jacob's mind seemed determined to go with you to get it so I don't think it will stop him. I think he is more interested in hanging out than the bed."

I am terrible, I ultimately just want to use Jacob as an excuse and he genuinely just wanted to be with me.

"love what's wrong, if you are worried I mind, I don't I think its grate you two became friends so fast. If you were human I would be worried since he is a young wolf but I know you can handle yourself."

I smile clearing an unintentional frown and I stop his quick attempts to reassure me by turning and jumping up onto his arms securing my arms and legs around him. I kiss him gently and slowly and feel his arms wrap around me. After a moment Edward applies more pressure and speeds up the kiss a little, I become lost to him. when we pull away I notice the others have gone and we are all alone. Edward raises an eyebrow so I tell him, "I am fine, just worried about everybody. Let's go home." Edward leans back in and captures my lips murmuring "how about the long way home with a short detour by our meadow."

"That sounds perfect."

Edward leans back in and kisses me, I feel the steady motion of him beginning to run. His lips move to my neck as he murmurs "I love you so much, I don't know what I would do without you."

"Edward you have to promise me something. If something does ever happen to me you will not torture yourself like the last time. It makes me sad to think I was already the cause of such pain for you and our family, that cant happens again. "

He stops kissing my neck and says in a resolute voice, "It won't because I won't let anything ever happen to you. "

Not wanting to argue and spoil the moment I drop it. "I love you too, more than anything I love you." He smiles at me lovingly and then I lean into him and start kissing up his neck. halfway up I nibble on him "mhm, you smell so good." He moans creating a rumbling vibration in his chest "well you feel so good, I don't think I have ever been this content." I agree his arms feel so safe, like home. I kiss up his jaw and he picks up his pace a bit running even faster.

I must have been moving up his jaw to slowly because he seeks my lips out with his and moans again as I deepen the kiss. After a minute he slows arriving at our meadow.

We haven't even fully stopped and I have his shirt off, I might have torn it but he doesn't seem to mind. He hesitates for a moment then pulls me closer and I here the zipper of my dress as it moves down my back. I move the thin straps off my shoulders so it just pools around my waist where my legs are still wrapped around him. Edward unwraps my legs and carries me bridal style across to the edge of the meadow. He removes my dress the rest of the way and places it on a fallen tree. Then in the blink of an eye has me back in the middle of the meadow kissing my neck he says "You looked so beautiful in it, I didn't want it to get dirty."

I couldn't care less about a dress right now but he honestly has always had more control in this department than I did. He sets me down on my feet and kisses my lips than my chin, moves down to kiss the center of my bare chest. I cannot help uttering his name and he moans urgently like he has to have me closer immediately. I need him just as much so I lean down to capture his lips once again with mine and unbutton his pants. I lean down and pick them up as he steps out of them, I toss them next to my dress.

Hi all,

I hope you are all doing well and keeping safe. Please review
