During the night in the city, a massive fight was unfolding right in the middle of it.

"We have a problem. Two villain groups are fighting. Both have gigantification quirks." an officer said as the two giants fought.

"Okay...here goes! Gring...Wave!" a voice shouted as the wave hit the two of them. "Why are you fighting? Is it because you have the same quirk?" said a young girl with long light blue hair in a cyan and green costume.

Quirk: Surge

She can create waves from her vitality but they only go in a spiral.

"Get ready! You four are up!" Nejire said as Ochako, Tsuyu, Himeno and Mermista came up behind her.

"Let's go!" the four of them said striking the two giants with a combination move, taking them both down to the ground.

"Wow...you four were amazing. You didn't look nervous at all." Nejire said.

"I wasn't really worried." Mermista said as fish flakes were sprinkled over her. "Hey, what are you doing?"

"Isn't this how you reward little fishes for a good job?" Nejire said.

"Girl, I'm not a goldfish." Mermista said.

"Don't mind Nejire too much. Just that bright curiosity of hers." said a woman in a red dress with a strange dragon like decoration on her head. "Besides, she wouldn't have recommended any of you if she didn't think you could take it."

Dragoon Hero Ryukyu

She can transform into a large dragon

"Thank you so much." all four of them said.

"You four have proven to be valuable assets. In fact, the four of you may have a role in a new case that's coming up." Ryukyu said.

"A case?" Ochako asked.

"Recently Sir Nighteye, All Might's former sidekick, has issued a request to team up." Ryukyu said.

"That's where Deku went for his work study." Ochako said.

"Same with Tsumugi." Himeno said. "So what's the case?"

"The investigation and takedown of the yakuza group, Shie Hassaikai. Given the League of Villains, New Universal Villains and Anarchy Kings possible involvement...it's a big job." Ryukyu said.

"Then I guess we can't afford to waste our resources. A big team up like that can lead to trouble." Himeno said.

Meanwhile in a dark location…

"Ugh...so dark and dank. And this place is like a maze. Took us five minutes to find this room." Shigaraki said.

"Yes. I would have to agree." Techno said.

"I needed to make sure we would have a small and secluded space where we could talk in privacy." Overhaul said.

"It's small details like that is how we have survived so long." said the small member known as Mimic. "Now, down to business. Is it true what you said on the phone the other day? You'd join us under the right conditions?"

"Don't count your eggs just yet. You want to increase your rep...we want to increase our numbers." Techno said. "Our needs happen to coincide...least for now."

"We won't put ourselves under you, we'll still call our own shots." Shigaraki said.

"Is that all?" Overhaul asked.

"No. This plan you mentioned. We want to know every detail about it." Shigaraki said.

"Yes. Let's start with this." Techno said, taking out the projectile. "This is part of it right? When Compress was hit with this, he couldn't use his Quirk. Our science officer studied it a number of times. This...is a bullet that destroys quirks. However, it's incomplete since Compress got the use of his power back a while later."

"So you know that much. Well...I can tell you about that. It...is a cure. A cure for the plague known as hero." Overhaul said.

"I see. So, you're going to use it to rob heroes of their Quirks." Techno said. "If that's your plan, I assume you have a way to make the loss permanent."

"Not yet...but the complete version should be completed in a matter of days." Overhaul said. "It's taken a number of trial and error. But we're close to creating the finished product."

"One other thing...Entrapta noticed something else about the contents of this...Quirk Destroying Bullet. Overhaul...you really are one twisted man." Techno said.

Meanwhile in the Kansai Region of Japan…

"Yeah, we've got all sorts of idiots starting fights in the streets these days. Can't eat enough to keep up." said a large man eating some takoyaki. "Our agency has been needing some close combat types. You three are what we needed."

"I promise to do my best." Eijiro said, walking with Hope, David and a young man named Tamaki Amajiki.

"Thank you again for taking us all on, Mr. Fat Gum." Hope said. "We really appreciate it."

"It's no trouble at all." Fat Gum said.

"If only Mirio had been around." Amajiki groaned remembering his talk with Eijiro. "His persistence is terrifying."

"We're gonna have to work on those nerves, Tamaki. Then you'll be worth your weight in gold." Fat Gum said as Amajiki grabbed his chest.

"Your expectations just continue to weigh me down. It's torture." Amajiki groaned.

"And I thought I had anxiety when I first met you guys." David said. "But, considering he's number 3 out of all the seniors, I'm betting he's got a very powerful Quirk under all of that social awkwardness."

"I get what you mean David. But I think despite how Tamaki sees it, Fat Gum may be trying to encourage him, like any mentor would." Hope said.

"I'm not like you, Kirishima or Mirio. I don't handle positivity well." Amajiki said.

"Help! We got trouble!" a guy said as a number of thugs ran down the road.

"At it again." Fat Gum said ditching the empty pan as he ran up to the thugs. "Hey there. Mr. Fat's got a hug for ya!" he said grabbing them as they sunk into his large body as one slipped out. "Oh, one got out!"

"Haha! Try and get me...gah!" the escapee said as some tentacles grabbed him. "What, tentacles?! Who is this freak?"

"Freak? That really hurts." Amajiki groaned.

"The guy's a dirtbag loser, don't let him get to you!" Eijiro responded.

Regaining his focus, Tamaki pulled the escapee in and whacked him three times upside the head with a clam shell on his hand.

"Clams are good for offense and defense. That's why I try to incorporate them into my diet." Amajiki said.

His body takes on characteristics from anything he eats.

"Wow...this guy is...amazing." Hope said.

"Was that okay? That felt really horrible." Amajiki said depressingly.

"You're kidding, right? That was so fast and that was amazing." Eijiro said.

"Yeah our Sun Eater's got some talent but his mental game needs some work. Once that's done, he'll be amazing." Fat Gum said as the crowd in the street cheered for them.

"I...uh…" Amajiki shuddered before Hope noticed something in the dark. One of the thugs holding a gun.

"He's got a gun! Get down!" Hope shouted as the guy fired and hit Amajiki.

"Whoa! You okay?" Eijiro asked.

"Get down!" David shouted as the guy fired at Eijiro.

"Ugh...hey what's your deal?" Eijiro said as the bullet ricochets off his head. "That guy's mine." he growled.

"Wow...figured that would hurt more." Amajiki said.

The guy was in shock as he tossed his gun and took off.

"We have to go after him!" Hope said.

"Come on!" David said, chasing after him.

"Right with ya!" Eijiro said going too.

"Wait, I can use my tentacles." Amajiki said but saw nothing emerge from his hands. "It's not working."

"I'll go after them. You stay for the other heroes." Fat Gum said.

"I'm not hurt, but my Quirk won't activate!" Amajiki said.

"What? Is Eraser around or something?" Fat Gum said.

The three continued to chase after the guy.

"Stay away from me!" the guy shouted.

"You got some nerve. You abandoned your buddies and ran away!" Eijiro shouted.

"That's what you're mad about?!" the guy said before cornering him in an alley. "Get away from me!" he said as blades emerged from his arm but they proved ineffective against Eijiro's hardened body.

"Red Counter!" Eijiro shouted, landing a solid hit on the guy.

"Now, talk. What was in that bullet you hit Amajiki with?" David asked.

"It was just something we bought from some yakuza. It's not fair. You know what my Quirk does? Create blades a whopping 10 centimeters long. Nothing but dinky little box cutters." he cried. "Least I was brave enough to shoot that one guy."

"If you're gonna be like that, maybe you shouldn't be a villain at all." Hope said.

"I've heard of you. You're that idiot from the news. You're even stronger than me. I thought if I hung around strong guys, I could be stronger. But...that's not going to cut it anymore." the guy said as he slid something out of his sleeve.

"That's… Everyone, get back!" David said.

"I'm gonna be strong!" he said injecting it into his body. They jumped back as multiple long blades emerged from his body.

"What the hell? That's way more than 10 centimeters." Hope said. "I get it. That stuff he shot himself up with. It must be some quirk enhancement drug."

"That's just what I've been thinking. How pitiable… To only get stronger by taking the easy route." David said.

"If he makes it out of this alley, it'll be a disaster." Eijiro said.

"Yeah… It's pretty obvious that this guy is dangerous and unhinged." David said. "We have to take him down."

"How do we do that? The guy's blades are poking out all over his body. It's impossible to even get close to him." Hope said.

"Maybe for you guys...but not me." Eijiro said.

"That's right. In case you forgot, Eijiro's body is hard enough to block his blade strikes." David said.

"Right. Get everyone out of here." Eijiro said as he stood to block as the blades cut into him. "What? He's cutting through my body?"

"That's what you all get for being cocky! The age of you heroes are almost over! The people of the shadows will rule. Think I'll take your advice and beat up some heroes to save my friends." the guy said laughing maniacally.

"This guy is nuts. He's all hopped up." Hope said.

"Don't worry. In case you forgot...I'm a member of the Dimensional Heroes. I'm Red Riot. I'm not just a shield. I'm a bulldozer!" he shouted as he increased the hardening on his entire body as the blades broke on contact. "Red Riot: Unbreakable! Just standing up to guys like you...means I am strong!"

"Ah!" the guy screamed as Eijiro charged. "If that's how you're gonna do it… I'll focus my blades on one spot and skewer you!"

"That...won't...work!" Eijiro said breaking them apart. "Red...Gut...Turret!" Eijiro shouted, landing a solid punch to the guy's stomach.

"Wait wait, please. Stay back." the guy cried. "Let me go! I'm a pathetic weakling."

"Oh that won't happen. Just come along now and…" David said as the guy rocketed over them. "Hey!"

"Hahaha! Later you losers!" he said before seeing Fat Gum in his path.

"Sorry I'm late to the party, boys." Fat Gum said grabbing the guy and squeezing him into his large body where he rustled before stopping. "Villains, they win by either killing you, beating you to the ground or running away. We win by taking them down without any casualties. The key is...making them lose the will to fight first."

'Heh...thanks." Hope said as the crowd in the alley were cheering for Eijiro.

"Wow...talk about making a big splash. That's more than I got when I made my debut." Fat Gum said. "You're gonna go far kid."

"Thanks, sir!" Eijiro said with a bow.

It was later the five of them were by the bridge.

"So his Quirk powered up huh? Must have been using Trigger, a quirk enhancement drug. Those are banned in Japan so it was likely a black market version. The ones in the US work for at least an hour." Fat Gum said.

"He said that… No wait, that was the bullet that hit Amajiki. But, all the same, he said he got it from the yakuza." David said.

"That right huh? One of the cops came to me earlier with the weapon. It looked like a gun but it wasn't a normal one. Still...we'll take you guys to the hospital then call it night." Fat Gum said as they headed off. "I heard of drugs that boost Quirks. They were just meant to help improve those with weak quirks. But ones that erase them? Never seen those before. This could be a big problem."
