"Whoa...you guys heading to your work study this morning too?" Eijiro asked Izuku and Tsumugi.
"Yeah. We got called in again." Tsumugi said.
"Yeah. Though I wonder why they said not to wear our costumes." Izuku said.
"Hey, you guys are going out too?" Mermista asked as she, Himeno, Ochako and Tsuyu emerged. "So are we."
"Great. We can head there together." Hope said. "For some reason, Fat Gum asked us to meet somewhere different today."
"Really? Ryukyu asked us to meet somewhere different too." Tsuyu said.
"(I think I know what's going on.)" Tsumugi thought. "(Nighteye is gathering heroes together. If my hunch is right… this could be related to them.)"
They headed down their joint path, never diverging once until they finally reached the Nighteye Agency. Walking inside, they found a number of heroes standing around inside.
"What...the?" Mermista said.
"Seems you guys got called in too." Jexi said, arriving with Mark.
"What the? What is going on?" Himeno asked.
"Not sure. This Nighteye guy called us in not too long ago to discuss something but he hasn't told us what." Mark said.
"We're all here Nighteye." Ryukyu said.
"Thank you. We've invited you all here for a joint conference to discuss what we've acquired...on the yakuza group Shie Hassaikai and what they might be planning." Nighteye said.
"Okay. Let's start. For the past couple of weeks, we members of the Nighteye agency have been conducting a study into the criminal group, Shie Hassaikai. This was prompted by a traffic accident by a group of thieves called the Reservoir Dogs." Bubble Girl said. "The police thought it was an accident but a number of things didn't add up."
"In my leads as a Nighteye agency sidekick, I followed leads to see what I could uncover." said a man with a centipede-like head known as Centipeder. "I found that in the past year that this group had increased contact with those outside of their group. Their aim seems to be expanding their organization and enriching it. Shortly after I started investigating, they made contact with a member of the League of Villains and New Universal Villains. Jin Bubaigawara. Villain name: Twice."
"Twice...right. That cloning guy." Jexi said.
"They were wary of being tailed. It wasn't long after that they picked up three suspicious people which were later identified as Elders of the Anarchy Kings, a radical group, their identities leaked to us by an accomplice who will remain unnamed." Centipeder said. "I couldn't track them after but we later found an altercation between the groups occurred in a nearby factory."
"Now anybody wanna tell me why a bunch of high school kids were invited to this conference?" said a dark skinned man known as Rock Lock. "I don't care if they are from UA or are part of some big time hero groups. We'll never get anywhere if we stop to explain everything."
"Now just hold on. These four have vital information to pass along." Fat Gum said, pointing to Eijiro, Amajiki, Hope and David.
"That's right. We have managed to obtain a weapon that we believe could've been distributed by the organization in question." David said.
"Hassaikai's movements are hard to trace but one of their main sources of income are illegal drugs. So I requested help from those who have expertise in that area." Nighteye said.
"Yeah. And what David said is true. The weapon fired a bullet that injected a drug into Tamaki. One I never heard of before. One that destroys Quirks." Fat Gum said.
"However, the effects only lasted for an hour, so it was more like his Quirk was sealed during that time." David said. "This is the first time I've heard of an instance of Quirks being sealed."
"Yes, what he said is right. It wore off while I slept. See, I have this hoof and everything." Amajiki said showing his arm was now a cow hoof.
"Least we know it's not permanent." Rock Lock said.
"No but Eraser has some further insight." Nighteye said.
"Right. It doesn't work like my quirk, Erasure. What we call a Quirk is just a genetic addition to a human being. My quirk simply blocks the genes expressions of anyone I look at. I don't actually damage them." Aizawa said.
"But when we brought Tamaki to the hospital, it was found his quirk genes had sustained damage. They seemed to heal on his own. Nothing but his quirk was damaged. The round that hit him was spent. However, one was fired at Red Riot and it just bounced off his hardened body." Fat Gum said. "Which gave us a viable sample. When we analyzed the substance from the bullet, we discovered something that made me sick to my stomach. It contained human blood and cells."
Fat Gum's statement shocked most of the people inside the room.
"No way...they're using a person to make weapons that can destroy Quirks…" Mark said in shock. "What kind of person could have that ability?"
"A good question, Mr. Anarchy. The answer lies with this man, Kai Chisaki. His Quirk is Overhaul. He can deconstruct and reconstruct matter on a molecular scale." Nighteye said.
"Wait a moment… I saw him before. He was with that girl Eri." Tsumugi said. "No...don't tell me…"
"He has a daughter named Eri. No records of her birth exist. But when Midoriya, Togata and Shirogane encountered her, they noticed bandages around her arms and legs." Nighteye said.
"This may seem like a personal note, but we're under the suspicion that Kai might be abusing her in some way." Tsumugi said.
"Once again, why do we have kids here? It's not abuse. It's more than likely the bastard is using his own daughter to make the bullets." Rock Lock said.
"Exactly bringing up Tsumugi's point. No one should have to be subjected to these kinds of machinations, not even his own daughter." Himeno said.
"And that aside, some kids are actually powerful and resourceful fighters. We know that better than anyone." David said.
"Besides, it's more than likely they are still in testing. He's likely only handing them out to rally others to his side. But...if the completed version can erase a person's quirk completely, it would end up being a disaster." Nighteye said.
"This is making me sick. Let's nail this bastard." Fat Gum said.
"Would have saved us a lot of trouble if these three had gotten the girl away from him when they had the chance." Rock Lock said.
"That's assuming they even HAD a chance to." David said.
"And when it comes to it, no one is more frustrated than they are." Hope said.
"Shut up!" the three said. "We'll save her this time. And we'll protect her!" the three said.
"Indeed. That's exactly what we're here to discuss." Nighteye said.
"Huh...you kids might act tough but if what Nighteye says is true, then that little girl is at the center of the Hassaikai's entire drug operation. She may have managed to escape for a few minutes, but a couple of heroes saw her. You think he'll keep her at home after that? We gotta find out where he's hiding her." Rock Lock said.
"Do you have a plan for that, Nighteye?" Ryukyu asked.
"That is the conundrum. Our strike is crucial. We have a list of groups affiliated with Hassaikai and possible base locations all across Japan. I want you to investigate each location." Nighteye said.
"Well, why not use Foresight on us? Then we can learn about where they are." Hope said.
"No. I cannot. My Foresight has limitations. I need 24 hours between activations. Meaning, I can only foresee one person and then I'm spent for the day. Additionally, it's played in my mind like a flashback. For one hour, I can see their life like a movie. If I saw one of you die in the future...it might affect how you work." Nighteye said. "It should only be employed only when we have certain success. It's also possible what I see is unavoidable."
"Then maybe we can send some of our members to scout out around. We might have a better chance of discovering their hideouts if they scatter around." David suggested.
"That's a good idea. But we just need to keep it as low as possible. Since they have three of the Anarchy Kings, those three could possibly know who some of our members are." Jexi said.
"Right… There's that possibility." David said. "It might be a problem if one of the Elders turns out to be someone we know."
"Wait...what if we sent someone they didn't know we had with us?" Hope asked.
"What're you talkin' about, kid?" Rock lock asked.
"The Elders know the members they have with us up to the Clover Kingdom incident...but that's all they really know. We have three wild cards." Hope said.
"What are you...right! Zan, Lea and Kairi!" Jexi said. "They only recently came back to us in Wano. They don't know about them being back with us."
"Yeah. Zan, Lea and Kairi can look for one of the three Elders, then tail them back to where the Shie Hassaikai are." Hope said.
"No. Sending all three would be troublesome. Zan looks too much like her sisters and Kairi would easily be recognized. Meaning the most likely candidate would be…" Jexi said.
"Yep. All on me." Lea said. "Don't worry about it. Not like this is my first scouting mission."
"Okay, Lea. Now...we need to know about these Elders." Jexi said.
"Right." Centipeder said. "The first one is known as Heat Wave, representing the Hero Universe. His real name is-"
"Mick Rory." Captain Cold spoke up. "I would know… He was one of my associates. But, I thought he was dead."
"Yes, about that. I was in contact with the Mercenary Association in Cross-World. Apparently, their reports say one member of the Elders has the ability to revive intact corpses as zombies. However, if the undead does not consume flesh for 24 hours, they return to the person they were before their death." Centipeder explained. "His identity had not been fully leaked. All we know is that he's a doctor from the Life Universe."
"They must have dug him up and had this doctor revive him." Tab said. "Why, we couldn't tell you."
"Well, better that doctor than Dr. Maddiman." Captain Cold said.
"Moving on. Next is Master Rapper, formerly Fuschia Rhyme. A rapper from the Idol Universe." Bubble Girl said. "He used to be a mildly-successful performer before he dropped it all and went off the grid last year. His Talent, from his own claims, allows him to "read a person's rhythm", allowing him to predict and react to any attack thrown at him. From what we've learned, he's one of the more ruthless Elders."
"Is he serious? He does know that even something like that isn't flawless, right?" David asked. "Besides… Most of us don't even like rap. I'm more of a hard rock kind of guy."
"Lastly." Centipeder said. "This cloaked individual is known as Ultraman, representing the Beast Universe. Real name Unknown. He competed in the PLT, but was defeated by those rogues in that group known as the Hidden Band. Since then, he wasn't seen much till now. All we know about him is that he can perform Burst with his Pokémon...and they're all Ultra Beasts."
"Is this guy for real? He has Ultra Beasts and yet he lost to the Hidden Band? Those guys suck!" Scott said.
"Scott's right. Ultra Beasts are powerful Pokémon from other dimensions, and the Hidden Band all use different variations of Unknown." Hope said. "How in the world did those guys even take him down?"
"I'm going to have to agree with him on this one. By all accounts of logic, that shouldn't make any sense." Cheetah said.
"Maybe there was more that happened to him in the tournament than just fighting the Hidden Band." Hope said.
"I think I can think of a way. Unknown can only use one move. Hidden Power. However, Hidden Power's typing tends to differ based on their statistics. Maybe they simply got lucky with the typings when they fought him." Leia said.
"Maybe. Question for later, I guess." Moltar said. "Now that we know about the Elders, is there anything else we should know for this mission?"
"Don't bother asking that. There's a little girl who's alone and frightened right now. We need to do all we can to save her." Ryukyu said.
"All right then." Mark said, standing up. "Then let's get started."
Meanwhile in a hidden location, Ultraman went and approached Eri's room. "Hey there, Eri." he said as Eri looked scared as he noticed the unopened toys. "Hey, you didn't open the toys I got you. Do you need help, or…?"
Ultraman saw Eri curled up in terror.
"Oh… you're scared. I see." Ultraman said softly, his face showing mixed amounts of worry and pity. "...It's going to be okay. Neither of us will be here forever."
"Will that boy come and save me…?" Eri asked. "It was so strange…. So completely different. I've never been reached out to like that before…. It was so warm."
Ultraman looked on in sadness before something the girl said sunk in. "Wait...that boy?" he asked "(Could she be talking about...him? If it is who I think it is…!)"
Ultraman then got up. "I'll be back." he said leaving the room to walk out into the hallways, where Rapper and Heatwave were.
"Somethin' wrong?" Heatwave asked.
"No. Nothing. But we're going to end this." Ultraman said. "I'm going out."
"To do what, homie?" MR asked.
"To get noticed." Ultraman responded as he walked away, determination in his eyes.
