This is a peak of another story that I'm working on. I adopted it from UnderCam07, so check out their original of this. Just so that the story makes more sense, I'm changing a few things, not a lot of things but a few. Like how Izuku's quirk works, what happened when Aizawa captured him, etc.
The smell of burning.
The sight of smoke.
...
It was burning.
His parents' car was burning along with them and all he could do was run away, like the coward he was. But what could he do? He was only 4 and he didn't have his quirk yet. He didn't know where to go, nor have any place to run to. Why was he running? Oh yeah, he was running from the villain that crashed his parents' car.
Wait, the crash site was right by the woods so he would run there.
Find refuge there.
He tried to yell, yell for help. But no one was around, it was late at night on a deserted street. Of course no one was nearby. And he couldn't speak, his throat burned harshly and blood from a head wound was bleeding profusely. He was light headed but he needed to keep going, away from the THING, that villain and the THING that he wished he could've done something about. So he kept running.
Away from his nightmares.
Away from his failures.
He was scared, he couldn't do anything.
Not a thing.
Waking up with a jolt, Izuku nearly fell off the low tree branch he was resting on.
Breathing a quick sigh of relief at the fact he managed to catch himself before it was too late, the greenette stretched his back, arms and legs and hopped of the tree was sleeping in. A quiet yawn escaped his mouth as tears gathered in his eyes as a result. A shiver slid it's way down his spine at the memory of the 'dream' he just had.
Shaking his head from those thoughts, Izuku began walking to his hunting spot. Apparently hunting was forbidden in this reserved forest, the place that he called home, but he needed to eat somehow.
Speaking of his home, really this whole forest was where he and hundreds of other animals resided. The greenette had been here for 10 years and he loved it here. The clothing situation was a problem though, seeing as how he was now a teenager. But he still had his pants! (which were up to just below the middle of his thighs and was both ripped at the edges and rather tight)
Izuku had outgrown his shirt and shoes years ago, but seeing as how the teen was rather short for his age, 5'4 to be exact, yeah he was keeping track all these years, the pants seemed to be holding up pretty well
Running a hand through his unkempt black and green hair and feeling one of the wolf-like ears on his head twitch satisfyingly, he stopped walking as he looked up past the clearing and at the crystal blue skies. A warm breeze flowed through the trees and rustled Izuku's hair in an almost loving manner.
