"Deku, hurry up or else we'll be late!"

"Coming Kacchan!"

A small, 6 year old greenette rushed to meet his friends, who were a few steps ahead of him on the sidewalk. This boy's name was Izuku Midoriya, but his best friends call him Deku. One calls him that as a playful insult and the other calls him that as a compliment.

The kid that yelled for him was a slightly taller 6 year old with spiky sand-blonde hair and blood red irises. Katsuki Bakugo was the boy's name.

And the third best friend, Shoto Todoroki, had a rather odd hair and eye color combination. One half of his hair was snow white while the other half was a fiery red color, his left eye was a turquoise blue accompanied by a red scar over it and the other eye was a grey tinted brown. Overall, one looked like a bush, one looked like a dandelion and the last looked like a candycane.

All three were on their merry way to school.

"Hey Bakugou, I get you and Todoroki have been friends since kindergarden, but was it just the 2 two of you all the time or were there others?"

Katsuki and Shoto's breathe hitched.

Blood, it was on everything.

It stained the trees surrounding them.

There was a pool of it on the ground.

It was soaked into their clothes.

It was painted on their shoes.

It was splattered on their faces.

Blood was everywhere.

A body, small and frail, laid in the middle of it all. Just like everything else, the body was also drowned in blood. In it's, no, HIS own blood.

Their best friend.

The boy that brought them all together.

The boy that forgave so easily and was so kind and generous and trusting.

The boy that was so welcoming and warm and playful and PERFECT.

He was dead.

Lifeless emerald eyes stared at the deep green flower his cold hand. It was beautiful and delicate and still freshly picked from the ground.

He always gave the green flowers he found to his mother because she loved them, and he did too.

And that green flower was the last thing the boy saw before he died.

"Yeah... there was one more kid. His name was.."

Green roses were Izuku Midoriya's favorite flowers.

I'm not sorry I wrote this, but I gotta say, it hurt a lot. I got this idea from an image on pintrest but I can't find it now. Yeah, I have a pintrest account. Let me know if I should reveal. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this nice little one-shot. Bye! Stay safe and healthy!
