It's been awhile since the events with the Shie Hassaikai. After Nighteye's death, his sidekick Centipeder was given control of the agency. It was also after that the work study program was to be suspended for awhile. As for Eri, it appeared her Quirk came from the horn on her head. It has since shrunken and become no more than a bump. The scene then opened to the math class for 1-A.

"Solve the equation on the board. It isn't that difficult. Calculate the definite interval. If you have an answer, raise your hands." Ectoplasm said.

The class seemed to struggle with the problem before Izuku raised his hands.

"Midoriya." Ectoplasm said.

"107/14!" Izuku said.

"Incorrect. Anyone else?" Ectoplasm said. "Yaoyorozu?"

"107/28." Yaoyorozu said.

"That's correct. Next problem." Ectoplasm said.

"That was almost smart. Too bad you screwed up." Mineta said.

It was soon after that the bell rang.

"Wow...you were really into it today." Mermista said.

"Yes. I applaud the effort of your studies. But before we can feed our brains, we must feed our bodies." Iida said.

"Yeah, I'm star-" Izuku said before finding a piece of cheese in his mouth.

"Please, have some fromage." Aoyama said.

"Where did you even come from?!" Izuku said before it went into his mouth. "Thank you."

"You're welcome. This cheese is called pomlevec. It's mild and perfect for snacking." Aoyama said.

"You didn't get that from the kitchen, did you?" David asked.

"Non. It's from home." Aoyama said.

"Why don't you join us? I notice you usually eat alone." Iida asked.

"Non. I'm afraid Lunch Rush's food doesn't really agree with my refined palette." Aoyama said as he sat at his desk with a meat dish as he sipped a glass of what appeared to be wine.

"That seriously can't be wine he's drinking, right?" Mermista asked.

"Let's just leave that question unanswered." Hope said as they left the classroom. "You know something? Even though we've been around Aoyama for a long time now, I can still never read that guy."

"Yeah. He's been a member of your group for awhile right?" Mermista said. "You gotta know what he's thinking, Dave."

"Don't look at me. Although, I think that's just his way of connecting with others." David said.

But things were going to get stranger as later in the night as Izuku slept, Aoyama looked in on him through the window before leaving soon after, Izuku waking soon after.

"I wasn't dreaming right? That was Aoyama looking in on me. But...maybe he was just looking for something. Our rooms are next to each other said…" he muttered before looking out to see a blanket set up with cheese arranged to spell out in kanji 'I know' "Cheese!"

Next day…

"Guys, you will not believe what I found in the halls of the ship rooms this morning. Hallway cheese!" Luffy said.

"Cheese? That's...odd." Jexi said.

"Izuku, know anything about this? It was just outside your door." Ranma said.

"Huh? Oh nope. Don't know a thing about that." Izuku said as he hurried off.

"...He knows exactly what this is about." Emo said flatly.

"Luffy, don't eat that cheese! You don't know where it's been!" Double D warned.

"Huh?" Luffy asked as he ate it.

"This has gotta be Aoyama's doing." Hope said.

"Yeah, only he would do something like this." David said. "And Double D, there's no need to be alarmed. It's Aoyama's cheese, after all. Do you really think he wouldn't leave it if it wasn't fresh?"

"But it was on the floor! It's unsanitary!" Double D said.

"I doubt Luffy cares, Double D." Mark pointed out, guestering to the Straw Hat, who had eaten the last of the cheese.

"There's only one explination as to why Aoyama is doing this." Mermista said dramatically. "He knows a great secret!" she said as lightning flashed.

"A Secret? He was looking in on Izuku." Hope said. "You don't think… does he know about the connection between Izuku and One for All?"

"Nah, Aoyama may be tricky to read, but there's no way he's that thorough." David said.

"Oh he knows." Luffy said.

"Huh?" Hope said.

"That's what the floor cheese spelled out. I know." Luffy said.

"That's just a note. Come on, guys. There's no need to freak out about this. I mean, this could mean anything." David said.

"Hmm...we should probably have some kind of discussion with him. What he's doing could be taken the wrong way." Jexi said.

They headed to the training room where the students were busy training hard with the other members as they looked for Aoyama before seeing him carving something into some simulated rock with his laser. After he was done, he knelt down on the ground.

"Looks like he overdid it on his stomach again." Himeno said.

"We'll take him." Jexi said as he and Aoyama brought him to the side where the group stood.

"So you were outside my room and...the whole I know thing. What...did any of that mean?" Izuku asked.

"It means I know your Quirk isn't compatible with your body." Aoyama said. "Which means...you're like me."

"Aoyama, did you have problems controlling your Quirk at first as well?" Chrysalis asked.

"No. Truth is, I've had this belt since I was a petite babon. If I don't wear it, sometimes my Naval Laser leaks out. You see, my body wasn't made to handle my Quirk. I remember Midoriya having trouble with his Quirk when he first started. I thought he was like me but up to now he's grown even more impatient." Aoyama said. "I think surprises are the best. That's why I left the message outside your door. To raise your spirits. If we don't overcome the things that bring us pain, we won't be able to twinkle, mon ami."

'So that was it. He wasn't talking about any secret, he just wanted to encourage him." Jexi said.

"And...your surprise was a huge success." Izuku said. "Uh...Aoyama?"

Sounds of distress then came from Aoyama's stomach. "It came out."

Later that evening…

"Here. Try this pastry!" Aoyama said.

"Thanks, maybe later." Izuku said.

"Wow. Izuku and Aoyama have really clicked." Hope said.

And this was the story of how Izuku Midoriya and Yuga Aoyama became friends.
