Half an hour later at the lair.

Felicity was still working at her computers when the vigilantes finished cleaning up. The Central City natives were right behind her discussing how to get Roy back to S.T.A.R Labs.

"We still need to account for not jostling the inner ear. With our luck it will blow while you're running." Thea sighed as they went back and forth about wether it was safer for Roy by train or speedster. She was sitting by Roy helping him eat the take out Vivian ordered.

Oliver silenced them with a soft "Hey..." directed at Roy.

Roys head lifted towards his mentor. The scarlet archer looked at the emerald one with clear eyes.

"Which do you wanna do? Train or Speedster?" Oliver was the only one to ask his opinion. Roy tilted his head in thought, as the tapping of keys was the only sound while he chose.

"Speedster. I'll take my chances if it means getting better faster." The younger man was getting fed up with being injured. Oliver nodded his acceptance before turning back to the speedster in question.

"Well at least we don't have to worry about how to get him there." The archer glared at Barry with the warning clear in his eyes. The CSI nodded, grabbed the injured man and took off to Central. Not even five minutes later Barry was back for Caitlin.

Thea cleaned up the mess left behind by dinner while Dig did inventory. Tommy and Laurel were with the Queen Matriarch and the Detective upstairs. The Noss's were attempting to figure out what happened at the warehouse.

"They fall into place yet?" Oliver had gathered the loose papers that flew around after Barry left and returned to the blonde's side.

"Not yet. Give me another hour and then everything will be ready for the final phase of the plan. Dod hasn't surfaced yet but he still has an internet connection down there." The typing hadn't slowed once during the conversation. "The psychopath has been hiding quite a bit from his crew."

Nodding his understanding, Oliver sent his sister upstairs to check on their mother before doing is own inventory. Mark was the first to approach Oliver to seek answers. Oliver was currently counting the different types of arrows he had by sorting them to see which ones he needed more of.

"What exactly happened out there?" Mark went right to the point figuring it was the best option. OLiver smirked slighlty at the directness of his former friend.

"Well, telling you what happened would require my understanding of what happened." Oliver breifly glanced up at the oldest twin before beginning on the next set of arrows. "But seeing as I have no clue as what went down you're out of luck. Give us an hour at least then maybe we can all understand." Mark let out huff of frustration but nodded and went back to where his siblings were sleeping. It seemed time was dragging its feet but eventually the hour had passed.

Diggle had just finished putting together the list of needed medical and tactical supplies when Oliver joined him at the med bay. Oliver himslef had just finished inventory of his own gear. They locked eyes end both came to the desicion to spar some to pass the time. They had only been at it for half an hour when they heard the familliar cry of triumph from Felicity.

"Ok, so you are all wondering why I blew up the compound to end the confrontation earlier. Well, by me doing so it made it impossible for him to kill you guys. It also stopped him from escaping. When I finished doing the schematics sweep earlier I found a server room, which I had Thea infiltrate for me. She got me remote acess which gave me the oppurtunity to find out his plans." By this poing everyone was behind her watching as she mapped out his plans. "He wanted Vivian to be his, that we knew already, but what we didnt know is that he had planned on selling her to a human trafficker. It was his back up plan since she woudnt marry him. Turns out Dod had been following the twins as they made a life for themselves. Psycopath had also remembered that they wanted to get Oliver off the island so he spent some time tracking him as well. He knew ore than we thought."

Felicity looked up at Oliver with an anger burning in her eyes.

"The bastard had this whole thing planned out. He orchastrated Vivian's frame job, the kidnapping, the Bratva involvement, all of it. He wanted to completely destroy you and the Noss's. He figured with you guys out of the way he could also clear his debt with a certain assassain." Oliver was a bout to ask her which assassain when she beat him to the punch. "Malcolm Merlyn. Merlyn had done a job that got Dod more money. Dod still hadn't finished paying him back when the Undertaking happened. Because of that fact Dod figured he would repay him by destroying you, Oliver. He still believes that Merlyn is alive and coming to collect. What my plan was, was to destroy his entire organization. In order for me to do so I needed a friend from college to agree to help take it down." Felicity had turned back t her computer and began typing again. She brought up different videoes of the news around the world each of them going over different parts of the Dod Mafia being brought to justice. "I knew he was going to use a more skilled part of his crew to counter you guys, but I needed him to make contact with them. Knowing his profile he wouldn't get that desperate until we began destroying him. I just found a message board he was using to contact mercanaries under his payroll. Little does he know i already destroyed his bank accounts. He made it seem like he was in the bunker under the compound but i found his real location," Felicity turned back to Oliver and handed him a post-it note with an address on it. "Here."

Oliver smirked with pride for the woman he loved. He knew he shouldn't have doubted her. Without a word Oliver went to get cleaned and suited up, Digg did the same. Brian darted upstairs to get the younger Queen's attention so she could help. Ten minutes later they were on their way.

Unfourtunately it was an uneventful take down. Dod had been cocky thinking that he was secure and that no one would be able to abtain his true location. When the Arrow and Speedy dropped down on him he screamed and gave up instantly. He was in police custody within the hour and the Noss's were free to take off. After a round of goodbye's they left, the Queen's had a movie marathon together, the Lances and Tommy had a T.V marathon and the soldier and I.T girl had a sleepover. Each one of them knew they were just trying to keep busy till they heard new from their Central City friends about Roy, which wouldn't come until the next night almost.

Central City: S.T.A.R. Labs: around 4:30 pm the next day

"Barry, calm down. You know not everything can go at your speed and if anyone should be freakign out its me. I'm the one the tests are about." Roy was getting exhausted just watching the speedster pace and ramble about the different ailments and their treatments to what could be happening to him. They had finished the tests at about three in the morning and then he had passed out from exhaustion. Caitlin was being extremely thorough to find out what was wrong with him.

Roy couldn't even begin to name all the test she took. When he woke up twelve hours after the last test Barry was had just come in with food for everyone, even Barry, and Cisco and Iris were the only other ones there. Roy only ate some curly fries which worried Barry and sent him on his tangent. As he got into the middle of it Iris had been called away on a story, Cisco had finished eating and gone back to work and Caitlin had come in to check the results of the test. Roy was at the point he damn near wanted to strangle the speedster just to get him to stop.

"BARRY!" Caitlin had called his name to get his attention. Barry had frozen when she did. As the doctor walked over to her patient she berated the speedster for worring Roy.

"Roy doesn't need to be concerned about all of those things because my intial diagnosis was correct. The pressure from the trauma to his brain is making it hard for his auditory cortex to process sound. As the pressure subside he will gain hearing back ever so slowly. He just needs to be careful and keep his injuries clean and to REST." That last part was directed at Roy.

Roy looked down sheepishly at the fact that she knew he might not rest like he was supposed to. The young archer nodded and began planning on how to bug Oliver into letting him back into the field as soon as he could hear properly. Apparantley he didn't school his face properly because he got a sharp prod in his injured shoulder to reprimand him.

"I mean it Roy, no vigilanting until i give you the okay. I will make sure that Oliver knows what my orders are too." Caitlin had her don't fuck with me face on. ROy nodded in understanding before standing and stretching.

"Okay, okay. No Arsenal for a bit. So how am I getting home?" Roy was eager to give the news to his team so they wouldn't have to worry about him anymore. Barry and Caitlin shared a look and she gave him a nod. Which is how Roy found himself at the Queen Manision just outside the gates. Ironically enogh aat the same time that he was dropped off there was the same time that Oliver and Thea were heading out to get dinner with the Team. '

Oliver spotted him first.

"Roy! Are you okay?" Oliver had darted over and put a steadying hand on his shoulder when he saw Roy sway slightly. Thea had sqeuaked in shock at seeing her boyfriend suddenly there. Both siblings had contact with Roy to make sure he stood standing.

"I think I need to sit down." Roy was dizzy and lightheaded from the sudden change. The siblings led Roy to the back seat of the car they were using adn helped him sit. Thea went to the othere side of the car and sat behind him so he could lean on her while Oliver stayed crouched in front of him.

"Did Barry bring you? And if he did where is he?" Thea was the one who had spoken. Roy only heard her because she was right behind him. Barry had actually done a permeter check after setting Roy down. He underestimated just how much land he had cover so he didn't get back to them until Thea had asked the question.

"Sorry, I wanted to make sure it was safe to bring him inside! I didn't realize you guys had so much property!" Barry had come up behind Oliver and began apologizing. Oliver waved him off and asked him what Cait's verdict was.

"Oh, she says that he intial prognosis was correct. He just needs rest and to heal. The swelling should go down on it's own but she wants to take ibuprofen until his hearing returns completely. She also said that he isn't allowed into the field until she okay's it and threanted to disembowl anyone who let him do anything that would put stress on his body until that time came." Barry had said all of this with a smile on his face. Oliver on the other hand looked up at him with suspicion.

"Did she say all that or are you interpreting what her face said when she told Roy he wasn't allowed in the field?" Barry indicated it was in fact the second thing Ollie said. In return Oliver rolled his eyes and helped Roy fully into the car so they couuld go to diner and the Team could see him for themselves. Barry joined them after a pointed look from Oliver to get in the car.

The team had a warm welcome waiting for the Arrow's protege. Felicity and Diggle both promised to make sure Roy did as he was told and rested til Caitlin cleared him. That night ended with the couples spending the night together, all of them in different parts of the manision. Barry had gone home after and alert came in that Captain Cold was wreaking havoc in jewlery stores.

6 months later

"Alright that was Caitlin. She got you results back." Oliver put the phone down on the table and looked at his audience with a stone face. The team was all assembled even the honorary members, Morira and the Detective. They had been told shortly after the incident had occured.

Felicity rolled her eyes at Oliver's dramatics.

"Come on already! Can he go into the field or not?" Tommy was actually the first one to not be able to take the suspense anymore.

Oliver was watching his twitching apprentice with calculating eyes.

"Roy?" The young man in question lifted his head in response. "You're good. She said you were in the clear."

The reactions were immediate. Roy nearly collapsed in relief, the parents in the group looked at each other with baited worry because they knew that meant that he would be in even more danger again. Tommy and Laurel high fived and had huge smiles on their faces. Diggle nodded in acceptance a small smile on his face. Felicity smiled happily and walked over to Oliver wrapping her arms around him watching Roy the entire time. Thea did the same thing with her boyfriend, giving him a small kiss to ground him. The kiss brought Roy back to the present.

"I'm glad I'm okay." Roy wapped Thea in a loving embrace as she whisper me too back to him. Oliver was watching them with pride, knowing his sister couldn't find a better guy than Roy and glad that Roy had found his home with Thea.

Tommy was already planning a party to celebrate the clean bill of health with Laurel and asked Ollie if he wanted to help. The Emerald Archer smirked and shook his head.

"You got this Tommy. Just remember who it's for what his interests are." Tommy nodded and took off to begin. Felicity looked up at him happily. Everything was okay again. Oliver knew that it would always be okay so long as he had the people he called family with him.

Looking down at his love, Oliver asked her what she wanted to do tonight. She took his hand in hers and said,"Anything, so long as its with you."

Rubbing his fingers along the ring on her finger, Oliver couldn't think of anything to add to that.
