It's one thing to lose a CPU, and another to lose your entire friend. Kitt's CPU gets stolen, and it's up to Michael to find Kitt's true whereabouts in a facility housing dozens of AI's for an autonomous jet program before Kitt takes to the sky!

Devon is hosting a conference on behalf of the Foundation. Unfortunately, armed gunmen have taken him and some of the other attendees hostage. Michael will have to rescue them, with a little help from his assistant.

"They lowered the TA to a lower level of the building. The car meekly followed the instructions of the engineers crowding his chassis as they passed him into a separate room. Aligning himself with the car lift anxiously, he popped open his hood obediently. Feeling exposed he flinched at the sight of different hands handling his turbine [...]."

"Who's the killer?" "I can't — Mr. Knight! I'm not crazy enough to let you run savagely amongst the streets and get yourself killed. Or worse — let you kill someone!" The man shook his head leaning back against the back of the couch, feeling his blood beat in his head. "Look, will you help me find the killer? Yes, or no?" "I drive." Michael cocked his head.

Excerpt: "From K — I can't abort the mission — I [data not found] disobey this command [...][File Corruption Warning high. Run diagnostics? [y/n] Stay safe K." Some nonsense I've been cooking up in my docs. Might be a one-shot, might not. We'll see.

They have treasures at the pick-a-parts but also a field of untold stories, trips, and accidents.

"He listened to his seasoned V8 a little longer before approaching a window... He almost could have burst laughing the second Michael's shaky hand latched to the curtain and pulled it away giving the car a ginormous grin. The man could recognize that gentle whirr from anywhere and for this Kitt felt content that not all of Michael's cognitive archives had gone entirely corrupt."

Michael is poisoned with a deadly neurotoxin and it's up to Bonnie, RC and the team to find out who not only poisoned him but infected KITT with a computer virus. Michael also discovers he loves Bonnie, and the team builds a never version of KARR to help them

Melissa has gone out to a party . . . in Kitt. Michael can't figure out whether the crime is theft or kidnapping. Or possibly inducement since she clearly talked Kitt into going along with her plans. Now, he just needs to figure out what to do about typical teenager behavior with an atypical car.

"If the computer had at all ever bragged of knowing his driver inside and out, he couldn't have been more "disappointed" than now. It was little things like these that sent Kitt's system spiraling into madness. How was it that something as advanced as himself could not even grasp the most comprehensible traits of Michael's character?"

Something has happened to Michael...Kitt is sure of it...but how will he find his friend when his travel buddy happens to be KARR?

Summary: SEB knows he has a family tree. In a way don't all computers sort of have one? If the Knight 2000 is part of his family, he's determined to find him and help him reconnect with this new age of technology. Author's note: sort of random fic but it's here and it exists (?)

It was a nice little evening by the beach. One the Trans-Am could appreciate…For one the waves weren't as terrible and choppy as the week before and that meant Anna could play safely in the shallows as she pleased. It also meant Michael had the audacity to stray from the shore and sit on his boogie board in the deeper end, bobbing amongst the scattered seaweed from a previous storm

Michael and Kitt are asked to track down jewelry thieves who target auctions. Melissa, Michael's ward and assistant, is recovering from surgery, making the teenager a bit cranky. And what's this about a boyfriend? (Third in the Guardian Knight series. Helps to have read the previous stories, but isn't required.)

It is the week of Thanksgiving and Michael has a surprise for Bonnie. Set in the original series, about a year after the end of season 4 (Devon only appears in Chapter 25). The sequel "A Knight's Christmas" was now added after Chapter 25 (RC and April appear in the sequel). "Surprises" (A Valentine's fiction) begins afterwards.

Something is going bump in the night... Scary stories, ghosts, goblins, pumpkins and bats? Karr doesn't understand this holiday that the others seem to be so excited about. He has accepted that he must wear a 'costume.' He has accepted that he is to listen to Michael's scary stories and watch horror movies. To bad no one warned him about the Trick or Treaters.

Out of all the vehicles parked in the sweltering California lot, only one was truly unique. Sure, the cars in the lot could perform their basic functions but a particular 1982 Trans Am could beat them on their best day. So why did the artificial intelligence within it feel inferior?
