In love, there are certain moments we have with our other half. Moments that we will never, ever, forget. Such as, telling each other you love one another, for the very first time. Or sharing your very first kiss together. Even beyond that, it could also just be moment of holding onto one another. Just simply letting lose all of the warmth, all of the comfort, and all of the love you have in your heart for them. Something this story I will share with you is all about. For out in our favorite place, being that of the Valley of Peace. Where the sky held no clouds, but of a light ocean blue color. All with the exception of the warm radiant sun that accompanied it. Which was giving the valley and its villagers, a warm, yet gentle feeling. This also included our two lovable heroes, or to be more precise. Our lovable mates. As upon the rooftop of the Jade palace, sat the great Dragon Warrior, and the amazing Master Tigress. Both of whom were dressed in their usual clothing. Po being in his stitched shorts, and brown sandals. While Tigress wore her elegant golden hanfu, with red vine patterns, black pants, and brown sandals on. The thing was though, they weren't sitting next to each other, rather. Tigress was sitting between her panda's legs. Her back resting gently against his chest, and for her head to be resting against his left shoulder. While her paws laid upon her lap. Being in a position such as this, allowed for Po to have his arms gently wrapped around her waist, and for them to be underneath hers. Where his paws, laid atop of hers. The two simply enjoying each other's company. Along with the quite radiance that was surrounding them. However, such silence broke when Tigress couldn't help but express her heart for her panda.
"Hey dumpling, can I share something with you?" Tigress had softly asked him. Her voice, laced with nothing but gentleness. Allowing for a bright warm smile to appear on her face. Which upon hearing his tigers question, along with seeing the smile she now wore. Po himself had begun to show a warm smile of his own. Which upon doing so, began to playfully rub the left side of his head against the ride side of hers.
"Of course, I'd love to hear what you want to share kitten. Well, as long as it doesn't concern even longer training sessions. I'm still recuperating from our last one." Po joked, letting a small chuckle out causing Tigress to do the same. He had then slowly stopped rubbing his head against hers. Now listening intensively on what his love wanted to share with him. But before she did, she had slowly turned her head slightly to the right of her. Letting her fiery orange eyes, meet with her panda's pools of jade green.
"Well, it's just, ever sense you and I became one with each other. I feel like life in of itself has just become so much better. So much easier to deal with. Like in the sense of feeling like we don't have to be scared of showing our feelings. Of being judged because of them. Or that, on the bad days we may have, we know the other is there with an open heart. Ready to comfort, and bring a smile out. What's more, is that if our dreams become nightmares because of the past, we don't have to wake up alone. We don't have to wipe our fear and tears away on our own anymore. Cause the other, will be there to wipe them away for us. To replace that fear in our heart with an embrace of safety." She stated to him softly, her eyes now somewhat swelling with the tiniest bit of water. Something that Po picked up instantly. Knowing deep down in his heart, that many of her words, were directly coming from inside of herself. On how she felt, before she found him. Yet, it was the same for him to. Before she came into his life, he had his dark days as well. Days feeling of utter loneliness. Which was why in that moment, of mere seconds after hearing her words. He began to gently apply pressure on top of Tigress's paws. Leaning his forehead towards hers, till it lightly came into contact with hers.
"You're right Ti. Life has become a lot easier; I would go even so far to say it's become amazing. As for always being there for another, whenever the other needs them. I think it's safe to say neither one of us will fail in that regard. We haven't up to this point, and I have no doubts we will down the road. That being said though, just seeing you is enough to make my day an awesome one." Po told her lovingly, letting his lips gently peck against hers. An action, along with the words he had spoken to her. Made her slowly close her eyes, and for her to start rubbing her head underneath his chin. Purring ever so sweetly as she did so.
"Same here my love, same here." She continued her loving affection towards him, which he replied in kind. Closing his eyes as well, and letting out gentle hum. This continued on for about five more minutes until the purring had slowly stopped, due to the fact that Tigress had fallen asleep. Her soft breaths, were now the only thing Po could hear from her. And as she laid there, sleeping peacefully against him, he couldn't help but give a small kiss on the top of her head. Smiling the kind of smile, one gives to their heart. Which upon doing so, allowed for one thought to run across his mind.
"I love you so much Ti. Please sleep well, and know I'll be here. Watching over you, protecting you."
