Chapter 1 Partnerships & Returns
A.N. – Welcome to Code Lyoko: Resurrection! So, everyone is probably wondering about the return of Anti-Xana after his defeat in my last story. Well Xana also suffered the same fate. For future stories, FOCUS ON DETAILS! In my stories, I foreshadow future events. Right before Anti-Xana's defeat, I mentioned a place called the network graveyard. Well, in this story that place will come in for the first half. There are two main points in this story: the first is our returning enemies, and the second half, a mysterious new enemy. Who? Well you'll to wait to find out. Only hint I can give is that it is someone you would not expect. On with the story!
Rafsolo – Well they are wanted fugitives in France. They got away with it when the Krabs attacked. But once Xana made the sand monster in Normandy, it was considered an act of terrorism. I mentioned it VERY clearly in chapter 15 after the Krabs attacked. Plus it will make sense and become some canon point for my story after Resurrection.
Short Summary – It has been two months since the Lyoko Warriors faked their deaths and disappeared. They still live in Paris, but hide from the eye of the government. But, when mysterious events start happening in Paris, the Lyoko Warriors must come back into action while hiding their identities.

The Network Graveyard
Somewhere deep beyond the internet lies a place where all used programs and files that have been deleted go to die forever. This place is known as the network graveyard. But what also lies in this mysterious place is two of the most dangerous AI's that can make the world fall into chaos. And the first one to wonder this place is the oldest and most recent AI defeated named Xana.
"I can't believe the warriors survived that blast. It should have killed them. They won and still are living and now I'm here" Xana said.
"Not alone" another voice said.
"Who's there?"
"A friend and an enemy."
"Show yourself!" Suddenly Anti-Xana revealed himself to Xana. "You! I though they killed you!"
"They did, but just like you I survived in this graveyard of the forgotten."
"What do you want? You here to finish the job!"
"No, I'm here to propose a partnership."
"What's in it for me?"
"A chance to return back to the real world. A chance to fight the warriors that defeated us again. And what makes this special, is that with our combined power, we will be unstoppable." Xana thought about the possibilities that this could unlock. "So do we have a deal?"
"Deal." And with that the grudge between the two AI's was broken a strong partnership was born.
Paris, Two Months Later
The Lyoko Warriors were hiding in the shadows avoiding the government eye at all costs. When they went out they had to disguise themselves. Melissa was the only exception since she wasn't with Odd during the eruption. They couldn't stay with their parents, the college, or at Kadic as each one would require having human contact which they couldn't afford. Their relationships still remained. All of them lived off the grid.
"I wish that we still weren't hunted by the government" Ulrich said.
"We aren't but until something happens that concerns the government, we can't slip away" Jeremy said.
"What's gonna be so different about moving? We are still living under false identities. Going to a new town would be no different" Yumi said.
"But at least in a new town we could have a fresh start. We are dead and we have to remain that way until we can move. I can get us all new identities."
"What about my girl?" Odd said.
"In order for her to keep her identity, she has to move separately, either before or after us. If she comes with us, they will target her and she can lead them to us. I don't want to sound mean, but that's the truth."
"And just leave William and Laura here?" Ulrich said.
"We are going to shut down Lyoko and the supercomputer before we leave, so they don't have any problems when we go. Anti-Xana and Xana are both defeated for good. We don't have to worry about them anymore."
They all believed that there was nothing to worry about.
Network Graveyard
Xana and Anti-Xana were both thinking of ways to escape the network graveyard. Finally Xana had an idea.
"I think we need Aelita" he said.
"What use is she too us?" Anti-Xana said.
"She was my key escaping into the real world, so it only makes sense that she holds the key to our escape."
"I have a way to get her here."
"How?"
"Right before I was defeated, I was working on a new monster that can capture people. We can use to capture Aelita and bring her here to us."
"Yes, my monster, the Scyphozoa."
"No, my new monster called the Seeker."
"When shall we release this monster?"
"Soon, I just need to finish it first."
"We need something in the mean time to announce our return."
"I've got an idea."
Paris
The Lyoko Warriors were all finding ways to where to run off to when the government eye was shut. Jeremy and Aelita planned to run off to somewhere in America, studying physics. Ulrich and Yumi planned to move back to Yumi's home in Kyoto Japan. Ulrich felt safer to be as far away from France as possible to avoid the government. Odd and Melissa planned to move to Italy and live in the culture that Odd has lived in. With all plans made, they just had to wait. But they noticed something on the news that caught they're eye.
"Breaking news coming to us at this hour. Strange events have been happening around Paris. All these events have no known origin, but people are disappearing trying to find something. We don't know what. We head to a reporter on seen" the main anchor said.
"Thank you. We are here where all targets at this hour have been seen before they all became hypnotized. Before disappearing they all seemed to try to find a way to cross over. We don't know what they mean by that but they all just vanished. The police are currently investigating."
"Xana?" Yumi said.
"I'm checking the superscan" Jeremy said. "No it's not. The superscan shows no signs of Xana. But it does detect some abnormal activity in the desert sector."
"We should investigate. We don't know what's wrong yet. So let's try to get some data" Aelita said.
The group all put on some disguises and headed to the factory. They all got on the elevator and headed for the lab.
"Get down to the scanners and I'll virtualize you" Jeremy said. "Okay ladies first. Transfer: Yumi. Transfer: Aelita. Scanner: Yumi. Scanner: Aelita. Virtualization." With the girls virtualized the guys were next. "Transfer: Ulrich. Transfer: Odd. Scanner: Ulrich. Scanner: Odd. Virtualization." The guys were then sent to Lyoko. "I'll call William if we need backup, but for now lets try to figure this out by ourselves."
"Okay Einstein, were off!" Odd said as they searched the desert sector.
A.N. – A short introductory chapter. The next one should be much longer as they have to deal with an activated tower in the desert sector. Also thank you to Reaper797 for the idea of the seeker.
