On their way there, they stopped near a bridge because Tom realized something. "Hey, Jerry?" he said. "Do you even know how to get to The School In The Sky?" "I thought you had a map." said Jerry. "I left the map in the car!" shouted Tom. They then saw a shadow going under the bridge. Then they saw Emmy, Max, & Enrique following it. They decided to get help from them. They tip-toed quietly down the stairs, but Tom accidentally kicked a can that alerted the kids. A girl that was with them swung her backpack at her. She was at first frightened, but then she was okay because she thought they were someone else. She shared her cookies with her new friends. "So your name's Robyn and you ran away from home." said Jerry. "How did you know my name?" she asked. "Your name's on your locket." So before we continue, let's talk about Robyn.
Robyn Starling used to be Emmy & Max's neighbor before she and her dad moved to Dragon Land. They would visit her a lot almost everyday until nighttime. But she's been sad recently because her mother died when she was a baby, and her father had been away on a mountain climbing trip in the Stickleback Mountains, but he fell in an avalanche, and Robyn thought he had died. Even worse is that she is being badly taken care of by her mean step aunt, Pristine Figg, who calls her an orphan, makes her sleep in the attic, and treats her very crudely.
Meanwhile, Enrique is worried because he overheard that his parents are thinking of moving again. He didn't want to move because Emmy, Max, and all the dragons had been such great friends to him, and he didn't want to leave them.
Everyone thought Robyn was being unreasonable. They wondered why she would leave her own home. They didn't think Aunt Figg was a bad person.
At the Starling mansion, Aunt Figg acted worried that Robyn was missing. She asked the police officer to find her. After the officer left, she suddenly acted evil and schemed with Robyn's dad's lawyer, Mr. Lickboot. They wanted to keep Robyn because they could get money from her dad's company, Starling Enterprises. "We've got to have money." Lickboot said as they started singing about money.
(Money Is Such A Beautiful Word starts)
Money is such a beautiful word
I know, I know
It soars in my mind like a beautiful bird
I know, I know
Better than that
It makes me feel like an aristocrat
That's where it's at
Money is such a beautiful word
Quite so, quite so, quite so
Money is such a wonderful thing
Ah yes, ah yes
I find that I use it for everything
No less, no less
Money is power
If it were food, it's a dish I'd devour
Every hour
Money is such a beautiful word
Oh yes, oh yes, oh yes
Money's my passion, always in fashion
Stashin', cash, cream of the cream, that is my dream
Money is such a glorious thing
When I see lots of it, I want to stand up and sing
Money's my favorite, that's why I crave it
Even a rich, wicked old witch
Ha, why should I switch
Money's the love of my life
The only true love in my life
Money for me, is all that there is
It is, it is
I spend it so well, I'm the best in the biz
A wiz, a wiz
Money and I, we are as happy as apple and pie
Haven't you heard
Money is such a beautiful word
Money they say is evil as Hades and probably worse
It is
A dreadful and wonderful curse
It is
A pleasure to have in my purse
It is, it is
Money is the...most beautiful word.
