Chapter 15 The Nuclear Mech Part I
A.N. – Part one of the finale! Resurrection is ending! Also time for the nuclear mech to make its appearance. No fighting this chapter. I'm sorry, but it builds up anticipation for the next chapter when the fighting takes place. Mostly build up and the Lyoko Warriors finally meet the government! What will happen? Time to find out!
Short Summary – The Lyoko Warriors are currently waiting for Delmas to arrive somewhere in France and go to confront him. The following day, Jeremy receives a strange message saying that something will happen in Paris near the Eiffel Tower. The government even knows this too. Upon arrival, the Lyoko Warriors meet not only the government, but also the nuclear mech and Delmas.

Nighttime
The Lyoko Warriors all are back in their rooms waiting on standby, waiting for something, anything to happen. Since the threat of nuclear annihilation was more real now then ever, none of them could sleep. The only ones who were able to sleep were Odd's girlfriend Melissa, and William's girlfriend Laura. Since they were not going to fight, the threat was not so real for them. They realized the danger, but when the warriors enter the mech, one wrong move could blow up the robot and take out most of France.
The government was also on edge. Night and day the offices were in a complete frenzy. Different agents looking for different clues. Anything and everything that could lead them to their fugitive. But one of the agents was focusing on the cold case of the missing Lyoko Warriors. With him thinking they were behind this, he knew the only way to draw them out was to wait.
The Lyoko Warriors had their avatar suits and powers as well as the makeup required to make them look the same way as on Lyoko. Yumi got the powder from her house. She snuck in, obviously. Aelita had pink face paint for he lines and had purple that Odd could use. Everything else was armor and the accessories that gave them there powers. As soon as a call would come they would put them on and go.
Delmas on the other hand was thinking of a way on how the warriors and the government to meet in the same place. But what he didn't know was how to talk himself out of not getting arrested for the planning of the stealing of the nuclear weaponry. For him, he was hoping to get a 'get out of jail free' card when he turned in the 'missing' Lyoko Warriors.
This was the tensest moment that either side, good or bad, has had in Paris. Xana and Anti-Xana were also wondering what their fates would be. Delmas remade them and their minds, so would this be their end?
The Next Day
All the Lyoko warriors awoke felling like shit because of the lack of sleep. They were like a pack of walking past Jeremy's (reference to when Jeremy would lose sleep fighting Xana). They ate breakfast and felt a lot better. When they arrived back to their rooms, Jeremy received a message. He called everyone.
"So Jeremy, what is this important meeting Jeremy?" Ulrich said.
"Delmas. I got a message that might have revealed where he might be. Listen" Jeremy said.
The message started to speak. "You think you have what it takes to take me down. Well come and get me. I'll be at the Eiffel Tower in Paris in a couple hours time. Don't keep me waiting." The message ended.
"Sounds like Delmas" Yumi said.
"Phone William, tell him get prepared, and meet us in Paris at the Eiffel Tower" Jeremy said.
The Lyoko warriors suited up and went to the Eiffel Tower to confront Delmas. What they didn't know was that the government was also aware of where he was going to be.
Government Building
While the agent was investigating known locations of the warriors he got a call.
"Sir, we got a strange message" one agent said.
"Let's check it out" the head agent said.
They headed over to the communication table. They looked at the message and this is what it said. "You want the real fugitives, come to this location in a couple of hours. Coordinates are attached."
"Where do the coordinates correspond to?"
"The Eiffel Tower in Paris sir" one agent said.
"What kind of strange criminal is this guy? Why the fuck is he telling us his location?"
"What should we do sir?'
"Get a squad of agent and follow me. I'm coming too."
Ten agents and the head agent headed out to the location.
Secret Lair
Delmas knew they would meet minutes before his arrival, so he had to move quickly, so he could be there to hand them in.
"We're leaving now! I'm not missing out on my reward!" Delmas said as Xana started the mech.
"We will launch here soon" Xana said trying to find a way to sabotage the mech.
Paris, Eiffel Tower
The Lyoko Warriors arrived at the Eiffel Tower, with no sign of Delmas. After hiding for so long, it was good to be back in public, but they wished it wasn't in their avatars. Everyone was looking at them and the strange outfits. They were wondering if this was some strange new fashion trend or if their actors for some big play tonight. They didn't know that they were there to save all of them. Finally, someone spoke.
"So what's your deal?" the citizen asked.
"Uh we're actors for tonight's big play" Aelita responded.
"Really? What's it called?"
"Uh Rise of the Lyoko Warriors" Ulrich said.
"I've never seen it."
"Uh, that's because it's brand new. No one has ever seen it."
"Yeah, we were lucky to get lead roles" Yumi said.
"What are you supposed to be?"
"Uh, I'm a ninja. My guy friend here in the yellow suit is a double bladed samurai. My girl friend here is a fairy princess. And my second guy friend her is a double evil agent trying to stop us. And my other gut friend here is playing the family cat" Yumi said covering them.
"A family cat huh?" Odd said.
"Just roll with it, idiot" Yumi said in a low voice.
"Huh, well good luck. Remembering lines can be a hassle" the citizen said.
"Thanks for the inspiration! Good bye! Phew, now since that's taken care of, what next?"
"We avoid getting arrested" Ulrich said seeing the government cars roll up.
The government cars stopped and the agents got out. They looked around and saw nothing.
"Are you sure this is the right spot?" the head agent said.
"The coordinates check out sir. This is the right spot" one agent said.
Then the head agent spotted a couple of suspicious people. "Get me that cold case file that I've been investigating" he said.
"But sir, why?"
"Don't disobey a direct order! Get it, now!" The agent retrieved the file and handed to the head agent. He looked at the four photos and saw the resemblance. "Get three agents and follow me." He went to confront them. "Hello, how are you?"
"Are you talking to us?" Odd said nervously. The Lyoko Warriors were ready to make a quick escape.
"Yes, I just came over here because I saw these amazing outfits and I had to know where you got them?" He saw Ulrich's weapon just like the one described in the file.
"Uh, they're brand new for the new play and won't be available for another month" Ulrich said.
"Interesting. I would really like a copy of each for my nieces and nephews. They would love this." He saw Aelita's glove close to the one in his file.
"Why would they love this? The play is brand new" Aelita said.
"Oh , they like anything that's different. And I have go to say that this is different." He saw Odd's glove that was similar to the file.
"These outfits are one of a kind" Odd said.
"Yes they are, but do you know who I am?"
"No, care to explain?" William asked.
"I am a government agent" he said revealing his badge. "And you four are under arrest."
"Under arrest? For what? We didn't do anything?" Ulrich said.
"We believe that you have connections in the robbery of the nuclear materials."
"We have no connections. We were trying to stop that from happening, and we just couldn't do it" Aelita said.
"What are you here for then?"
Suddenly the nuclear mech arrived.
"That" Ulrich said.
"Sir, I don't believe these kids have anything to do with the nuclear materials" the agent said.
Now the whole city of Paris was in panic. Everyone was running and screaming. Suddenly Delmas emerged from the top of the mech.
"Delmas" Aelita said.
"You know him?" the head agent said.
"Unfortunately, yes."
He spoke finally. "Hello warriors! I see you have found the agents! Now I come for my reward for your capture!"
