PROLOGUE
"Hello? Hinata-san?" A familiar voice said on the telephone of the Hinatas' household.
"Yes. Good evening, Kageyama-san. Is everything alright?" Shouyou mother answered.
Tobio's mother is a doctor, and the hospital she worked in had confirmed its first case of COVID-19 that afternoon. She had not been in contact with it, nor she was in one of the high-risk groups. Tobio, on the other hand, had been an asthmatic child and, even though he haven't had a crisis in more than 8 years, she didn't want to put her son through any unnecessary risk.
Shouyou's mother had been nothing short of welcoming when she was asked whether Tobio could move in with them during the pandemic. The Hinatas and the Kageyamas had known each other for much longer than Tobio and Shouyou have. The mothers have gone to college together. Kageyama-san was Natsu's pediatrician, and had been Shouyou's as well, so there was no denying it, really. Hinata-san also made the point that, since school was supposed to halt as of the following week, it would be good for the boys to have each other's company.
"Thank you so much, Hinata-san! I will most certainly pay for Tobio's living expenses while he is with your family."
"No, Kageya–"
"No. I insist, really."
So an arrangement was made so that Tobio would move in with the Hinatas for the time being. The families would reassess the situation every Friday, but Tobio's mother had the impression that the situation would at least 2-3 months. Tobio has been tested negative two days before, so he would move in as soon as possible to minimize the risk for the Hinatas. The next afternoon, Tobio's mother would pass by to leave him.
