Laying in the wrakage of the venator a lone clone that was barley alive looks around, he saw all his brothers where dead and he looks at himself, seeing that a large piece of metal was in him him bleeding out he knew he will soon be joining them...the clone was Arc trooper Jesse.
"So...this is how it ends huh?" Jesse asked himself as he caughed out blood, he felt the chip was no longer effacting him.
To be honest, Jesse was honestly happy that he was dying, dying a free man then a slave to the chip that made him try to kill Ahsoka Tano who he highly respected along with Rex...his only regret is that he would not get to apologize to then for trying to kill them like Krell would to them.
Krell, the Jedi that he hated it sickened him that he wile brainwashed treated Rex like Krell would and tried to kill him he felt like a hypocrite even if he knew it was because of the chip, he still felt responsible for what he did...and he can't belive he called Rex by his birth number ad well.
"I really hope...that they can forgive me eventually..." he says as he caughed out more blood then.
But then he heard something move, he turns to see some of the wrakage was being moved and he saw someone walked in and was surprised to see him...he saw that it was Captain Rex, formally Commander Rex till he demoted wile he was trying to kill him, soon Ahsoka came then as well.
"Jesse." Rex as he looks at the heavily wounded arc trooper.
"Hello Captain Rex and Commander Tano...Glade your alright." Jesse said smiling under his helmet.
Rex knew this was Jesse for sure, as he walks up to the Arc trooper then, he goes on one knee then as he takes off Jesse helmet, he saw that he was smiling wile bleeding as well, Rex tool a wile but smiled back at his brother.
"Glade your back to normal Jesse." Rex said.
Jesse looks down then as he soon frowned, he then looks at Rex wile letting a tear roll down his face, he still regretted all he's done, trying to kill his close friends, and having the clones exacute the astromechs in a brutal way that they did not deserve.
"Rex...I'm so sorry." Jesse began. "I'm so sorry for what I did, for what I tried to do to you and Ahsoka Tano..."he says truly feeling regretful.
Ahsoka held back some tears, she really felt bad for the clones, they all did not deserve this, to kill there closest friends along with having there will taken away like that she did not blame the clones at all for what happened, she honestly felt lots of remorse for them, and remorse for the clones here since in a way she feels that it's her fault that there all dead, she Freed Maul, she let a Sith lose on the ship to cause a diversion. She had no idea he would have destroyed the hyperdrive which would lead to this.
As for Rex, he puts a hand on Jesse shoulder. "It was not your fault, it was the Chips Jesse you had no control." Rex says trying to assure his brother that it was not his fault.
"And...I'm sorry to." Jesse then looks at Ahsoka, a little confused by that. "I set Maul lose if I didn't this crash would not have happaned...and so many would not have been dead then..." she says feeling a lot of guilt.
Jesse spoke then. " Trust me, you did right with doing that." He says giving her a smile.
Ahsoka was shocked then. "B-bu-"
Jesse then spoke again interupting her. "In all honesty me and the others that has painted your face on there helmets we all have high respect for you we would prefer to be dead then to true slaves to the empire that will be nothing like the republic we fight for." He explained.
Ahsoka smiled, but soon Jesse did a salute then. "Im...Glade that we...survey you...commander...Tano...good luck in the future both of you." He says barley managing to say all that.
Rex knew why Jesse was saying this, as he soon salutes then back to him along with Ahsoka, as he spoke. "You where a good soldier...old friend."
Jesse soon closes his eyes, his wounds finally getting to him as he soon went limp as he stopped saluting and falls to the ground then, Ahsoka cried again then as she cried on Rex who let's her...as he closed his eyes to pay respect to his fallen brother Jesse.
Hrs Later Rex was working on the Y-Wing, he looks at Ahsoka soon then who was paying respect to the dead, of all the clones of there fallen comrades they berried and in the front was Jesse helmet.
Ahsoka then looks down then at her lightsaber, the last thing her Master Anakin gave her...she wished she could have spoke to him a final time but she soon drops the lightssber in front of the berial as she leaves wile Rex lifted off taking them to parts unkown.
Years Later.
At the Wreckage it eventually was covered almost in snow years later, but the ship was discovered eventually by the empire as stormtroopers where near it, soon a imperial shuttle came and landed then and out came Darth Vader who walked to the wrakage and passes his troops.
Darth Vader has tracked down the crash site he looks at it for a wile, then down where he finds Ahsoka's old lightsaber by the crashed Star Destroyer he knees down as he picks it and brushes off some of the ice on it, he then ignites it for a few moments as he looks at it.
The last thing he gave his Padawan when he was Anakin Skywalker, he felt some regret as he stares into the blue blade as he lowers it as he looks at the sky then, he saw a bird creature he stared for a wile till he eventually deactivated the saber and walks away with the lightsaber still in hand...he may be a ruthless tyrent, one of the most the galaxy ever seen...but he still had a lot of regret for what he's done.
As so the clone helmet in the snow was staring at him, Vader Reflection on it eventually fading when he left then.
Note: Well, just made this Oneshot for fun, I decided to have Rex and Ahsoka talk to Jesse...as he dies as himself plus I wanted to be the first to do a Jesse dying fanfic with his brother and person he respacts comfort him.
As for the Vader scene did that just to add it in...the scene was so sad and amazing.
