Hey there! So I'm Baneful Pens, but you could just refer to me as BaneP. Anyways, this is my first FanFic. I've been reading FanFics for quite a while now, and I love the Ash betrayed series. Therefore, I wrote one of my own! Please make sure to leave a review! Because I am going to write the complete story for sure, so I need to know what you guys think of the first chapter. Just drop in anything, constructive criticism is always welcome, and if you do criticize, then make sure to drop some suggestions in too!

The yellow electric mouse cooed in extreme contentment as his trainer and best friend petted his tail, and they both sighed in relief to see the first few rays of the sun illuminating the valley before them. The man stood right at the edge of the cliff, and his partner shuddered a little, as a cool breeze blew past their face, sending chills down his spine.

However, that was not the only reason. Even though they had done this a thousand times before, where he and his trainer ran right to the edge of the cliff to watch the rising sun, the height of the cliff always intimidated the mouse. The trainer, although, stood there in a relaxed stance, calm yet alert, careful yet undaunted.

"Ahhh… We have done this a thousand times before, and yet it is always so great to see. Isn't it, Pikachu?" said the man. "Yep! I am so happy that we came here. This sunset is so pretty. Although Ash, isn't today the day?" said Pikachu.

The man, Ash, gave out a low growl as his expression completely changed. Ash had really changed, in the past 10 years. The 16-year-old Ash, who came to The Lunar Cave in the Omni Region 10 years ago, was a ditzy, shorter and an immature person who was in a lot of stress. However, not anymore. Ash stood extremely tall. The boy, who was once 5"6, was now 6"5. Not to mention his body, that went through a noticeable and amazing transformation. His hands and chest were much more muscular than before. As he stood there shirtless, his body radiated confidence, as he stretched, flexing the toned muscles on his stomach, back, chest and hands. Not to forget his face, that was a completely another story. The birthmarks under his eyes on his cheeks (the two thunderbolts) were now faded. His hair had grown long, almost reaching his shoulders, which he had tied up in a small ponytail. A beard could be seen on his face, not long, but dense.

"Yes it is Pikachu" said ash, whose voice was a whole lot deeper than before. "Today, 10 years ago, we were betrayed by the people who we held close to our hearts. I still cannot believe that happened, but that is not what makes me waspish. It's the fact that just because of them, I had to leave my home and my mother."

"I can't believe those bastards. Why did they even do this? You really miss your mother…. And Cynthia, don't you?"

"They're not the only ones I miss, buddy. I miss him too."

"I miss him too Ash."

"Yeah buddy; if not anyone else, I just want him to come back"

"So do I."

The man Ash and Pikachu were talking about, was Dima, Dima Ketchum, Ash's brother.

Even though adopted, Dima always felt, as he was Delia's own kid. Dima was {actually, is} three months younger than Ash, and never called Ash by his name. He always used to call Ash as "brother", to show his respect. Ash and Dima used to play together all the time, and received their starters together. Although Dima never really "received" his starter, but still, he got his first Pokémon with Ash. Ash smiled as he remembered that day.

FLASHBACK

"Wake up kids!" shouted Delia.

"We're awake mom!" replied the kids in unison. Ash and Dima came out of their sheets and got up to brush their teeth. Ash had raven colored hair, and chocolate brown eyes. He had his mother's eyes, and his facial features and hair was similar to his father, Ron (who died when Ash and Dima were young, due to lung cancer). Dima, on the other hand, had blonde hair, and ocean blue eyes {He wasn't similar to Delia or Ron….. cause you know… huh lol… he was adopted}. After performing their morning rituals, the boys punched their fists in the air and yelled "Yes! We're gonna get a new Pokémon!"

Both the kids went down to the dining table and ate in a hurry, as they were about to receive their first Pokémon today.

"You boys seem really excited. Have you decided which starters you're going to take?"

"Yeah I have! I'm gonna take a Charmander!" said Ash, with a hell load of food in his mouth.

"So have I! I'm gonna take a Squirtle!" said Dima, with a little less amount of food in his mouth.

Delia giggled at her two boys and their antics, as she decided to head over to Pr. Oak's laboratory with them. Pr. Oak was busy feeding the Pokemon in his backyard when he saw Delia, Dima and Ash coming his way.

"Good morning Delia! Hey there, Dima, Ash! My boys!" {Sigh, Oak is such a vexing character}

"Hello Professor Oak!" said the three in unison.

"So, have you decided which starters you both are going to take?"

"Yes we have!"

"Alright then, straight down to business! But there is a small problem, children"

"What! What is it?" yelled ash in exasperation.

"Well you see, I've given away all the starters and now I'm only left with one Pokemon to give."

Oak sighed as he showed the boys the Pikachu.

"Alright then whatever! I'll take him!" said Ash

"Hey not fair! Professor Oak, don't you have a Pikachu for me as well?! Pleasseee!?" whined Dima.

Dima started crying, as he didn't receive any Pokemon. That's when Delia suggested both of the kids to head over too Cerulean city, as some of Oak's assistants were there and they were, surely supposed to have a Pokemon. Oak highly doubted it, but suggested the same thing to both the boys. Therefore, the boys packed up their things and decided to head over to Cerulean city, leaving a tearful Delia behind.

"Pr. Oak's assistant may have different starters, which one would you prefer, Dima?" Ash asked Dima.

"I don't know, brother. Squirtle was my choice because you were taking a Charmander. Honestly, I would like to have a Ralts"

"Hmmm... I see. Although, this Pikachu is a bit disobedient and doesn't listen at all, I will love him really very much!"

"Yeah!" said Dima

FLASHBACK END

Ash was still smiling, remembering the rest of the story. He smiled at the fact that how on their way to Cerulean city, Ash and Dima encountered a hurt Morpeko, how they both went on to save the Morpeko but the Morpeko did her hunger switch just to protect itself, which scared Ash but not Dima. Dima helped the Pokémon with a hyper potion and antidote, which made the Morpeko switch back and cry in happiness and she joined Dima's team and became his first ever Pokemon.

Rest as you know, went the same way. They traveled through different regions together and caught lots of Pokémon {If it's tough for you guys to imagine Dima with Ash, just think of EVERYTHING that happened with Ash, and add another person to his life}.

"He was such a great person. Don't worry Ash, Dima will come back"

"Thanks buddy. In addition, to answer you first question, do you really need me to remind you that why those 'friends' of ours betray us?"

Ash and Pikachu both gave a low growl as they remembered that day.

FLASHBACK

Pikachu and Morpeko were running together, sometimes playfully tacking each other and biting the other one's ears. Dima and Ash were smiling at the two of them. Ash and Dima were both returning from the Kalos and the Sinnoh league respectively. After a long journey together, they split up with tears and went on two continue their journey in two different regions. Ash went to the Kalos league and Dima headed over to the Sinnoh league. Ash, {as we all know} made three best friends and travelled with them throughout the Kalos region. They were Serena, Bonnie and Clemont. Dima, on the other hand, surprisingly, didn't make a single friend during his journey. He wanted to travel through the region alone and wanted to test himself. Both Ash and Dima used to video call, each other from time to time, and Dima even met Ash once in between the journey, when he decided to head over to the Kalos league just for fun. He stayed with the four people for a year, and headed back to the Sinnoh league to continue his journey. Therefore, Dima was just as close with everyone Ash met on his journey. Misty, Brock, May, Dawn etc. etc. They were equally and extremely close to both, Dima and Ash. Anyways, Ash and Dima were heading home. The two 16-year-olds had challenged the league champions and both had lost from a very small margin. Although, Ash had won the orange island battle frontier and Dima had won a regional championship in the Trido region {not a real region}. They both were really sad and sighed as they headed home, to their mother.

"So, Dima. Cynthia was some tough competition, wasn't she? I saw the repeat telecast of your match as I couldn't see the match live."

"Damn right she was. I tried my best though, and we came down to our last Pokémon, but Charizard just couldn't beat Cynthia's Garchomp. She is really strong." Dima gave a dry and evil smile, and continued, "I even told her to go easy on me because she's my sister in-law, but she didn't really listen to me". Ash blushed hard on hearing that.

"What! You asshole, why did you do that? I can't believe you."

"What? I know you have a crush on her, and who knows? Maybe she likes you too. I even saw her blush when I took your name"

"That's it! Come here you bastard!"

"Uhuh! You gotta catch me first, brother!" said Dima with a wide grin.

Ash chased Dima with a playful laugh, and seeing their trainers, Pikachu and Morpeko ran right behind them.

When all four of them reached their home, they smiled. They really missed their mother and her delicious food. Ash was drooling, thinking about his mother's food. Dima was smiling, looking at Ash. Dima had really changed a lot over the years. When both the boys started their journey {at the age of 10}, they were extremely similar. A bundle of nerves, just staying hyperactive active all the time. Ash hadn't changed one bit. He was still the same, but Dima had. He had gotten a bit quieter. He rarely laughed, gave out small chuckles when amused, but he did not forget to smile.

After pleading for at least 50 times, Morpeko rang the bell and stood right in front of the door. She was always excited for everything, completely opposite from Dima. Dima was a quiet person, but Morpeko respected that and never complained. They both loved each other just as Ash and Pikachu did. As Delia opened the door, Morpeko jumped in her lap, her hands in the pockets in a cute manner, which everyone loved. Delia realized who the Morpeko belonged to and hugged her children.

"Dima! Ash! *sniff* I can't believe you two are back!"

She served the food, which was vigorously eaten by everyone, especially Morpeko. Morpeko is hungry, ALL THE TIME. It keeps eating electrically charged seeds from its pouch like pockets, not only to suppress its hunger, but also to generate electricity. Pikachu, on the other hand, was drinking his favorite treat. Ketchup. He loved ketchup. He "chaaaed" in pleasure in between, as he savored the taste of the tomato treat. Ash was eating as he always does, in a hurry. He was crazy about food. He always used to eat food in a hurried manner to suppress his hunger, just like Morpeko. Dima, was widely grinning (an extremely rare occasion), as he ate quietly and in a calm manner. Delia smiled at the two boys, who were everything to her. They discussed everything about their journeys, laughed, and ate together. Then, the boys decided to go check their rooms out. They had received separate rooms when they once returned from their journey for a year (when they were eleven). Dima went in his room, and Ash went in his. Ash smiled as he saw his room. It had not changed at all. His mom had decided to keep it the exact same way Ash had kept it so that it kept reminding her of him. Ash sighed and lay on his bed, as he looked at the ceiling. The conversation with Dima kept going around his mind in swirls. It was true. He was in love with Cynthia. The blonde goddess had stolen his heart when he ones visited the Sinnoh region and helped her bring down team plasma {idk which team ash encountered in the Sinnoh league, so I just named a random team}. The way she smiled at him and the way she talked was something he was crazy about, and not to mention her face. Ash just loved the fact how beautiful Cynthia was. She was all a man could ask for. She even had a perfect body, which ash, by the way, cared least about. He loved Cynthia for what she was, not what she had. He could not believe it when Dima had said that she had blushed when he took Ash's name in front of her. Ash really hoped that it was true, because If it was… Urgh! Ash blushed a dark shade of red as he dug his face in the pillow. He didn't even realize as he dozed off. Ash was soundly sleeping when he his sleep was interrupted by some shouting voices. He came out of his room in confusion and saw that Dima was standing outside his room in confusion too. Ash passed Dima a questioning look, and Dima just shrugged. They went downstairs to see what the commotion was about, and saw their mom shouting on their friends. Misty, Dawn, May, Brock, Max, Trip, Serena, Clemont (not with Bonnie), and Iris. They were all sitting on the couches, and so was their Mom. She had an angry look on her face, and she was the one who was shouting earlier. "Mom? What's wrong?" said Ash

Dima remained silent and looked at his mom, clearly confused.

"Hey Ash" said Brock, in a weirdly twisted and disgusted tone.

"Hey Brock, hey guys, what are you doing here?"

"Hey ash" said everyone, and they greeted Dima, who just gave a curt smile and waved back, barely lifting his hand.

"All right, now that you all have met Ash and Dima, please, out of MY HOUSE" shouted Delia

"Please, Ms. Ketchum, you have to understand." Said May

"Understand what?" said Ash.

"Why don't you ask them yourself? My head is aching, I am going out for a walk." Said Delia, as she headed out of the house.

"Umm... What's wrong guys?" said Dima

"Alright guys, here's the deal. I am gonna be straight forward about this." Said Max, while Trip smiled.

"We all have something to confess," continues Max, "I think that you and Dima should just…. Just… quit your dream of this… becoming a Pokémon master and settle down at your home."

"W-What?"

"Yeah Ash, we think you and Dima should stop all this and just quit your dream." Said Serena

Ash sat down, clearly shocked, whereas Dima was standing, his eyes a bit wide, but his expression neutral.

"B-but why?"

"What do you mean why? Trip told us everything. He told us how you both cheated in the Kalos and Sinnoh leagues."

"What do you mean?" stuttered Ash.

"Oh Ash, just Shut up! Trip told us everything when he overheard you both talking! He said that you both were talking about how you illegally shipped rare candies from the Trido Region to level up your Pokémon!"

"What the actual fuck? Why would we do that?! Rare Candies cannot be shipped illegally! Don't you remember? Officer Jenny told us that she went to the International Security Convention where the security on the shipping of Rare Candies to different region was heavily secured and monitored!" said Ash, with a lace of anger in his tone. Dima just nodded.

"Is that really so? Trip told us the truth we know it! Both of you need to stop lying!" said Dawn.

That's when Dima spoke up, in a calm yet hard voice, "What's with the 'Trip said it'? What the hell, Trip? Why are you lying like this? What proof do you have? Plus, why do you guys even believe him, without any proof?"

Ash felt like punching Trip. He was smiling and replied, "Well I heard you and Ash talking on the ship, that how you're gonna ship all the candies. And if you're saying that we're lying, then what is this?" Trip replied, with fake sadness in his voice as he smiled and showed them a piece of paper. Ash and Dima took a closer look at the paper. It was a bill, which was for shipping of eleven boxes of rare candies from the Trido Region to Pallet Town. In addition, it had Mr. Goodshow's signature on it, which surprised both of them.

"Guys! This is fake! Where did you find this! This isn't real! Trip is lying! Trip why are you doing this!? Why are you lying!?" said Ash

"Exactly, this is a bloody fake!" said Dima.

"We don't need to hear all that anymore. The proof is here in front of your eyes, so you better accept it." said Iris, "We don't think this was even necessary, because both of you are so weak that the Rare Candies would go waste".

"That's not true," said Ash.

"Of course it is! You both are so weak! Nevertheless, that's not the problem. Because you won't ever be strong. What we were surprised about, is that how could you two do this? I never thought you would do such a thing! Dima you were like a mentor to me! And Ash, I thought you were the brother I never had!" said May.

"Hey…!" Max exclaimed.

"No! Trip is fucking lying! Why do you guys believe him so much! Trip you asshole! Tell them you're lying!" thundered Ash.

"If only I was..." replied Trip. Pikachu and Morpeko were looking at the group with hate and disgust. Morpeko had stopped eating the seeds, and Pikachu was ready to shock them.

"Whatever, we were here to convince you to stop with your journey. So, tell us? What decision have you made? Remember, if you don't agree with us, there will be some harsh consequences." Said Brock.

Ash and Dima could not believe it. Ash was on the verge of tears, and Dima had a mixed expression of Grief and anger on his face. They couldn't believe the fact that the people they believed the most in would betray them. They were so taken aback from the fact that they had such blind trust on Trip. They were taken aback from the fact that those people did not believe in the brothers. They couldn't believe the fact that they didn't even try to investigate the case. Not even once.

"What makes you think that we're weak?" said Ash.

"Do you really need examples?" said Max, "You haven't won a single league, no matter how hard you try. You have only won the orange island battle frontier that no one even gives a fuck about. As for Dima, he's only won a regional championship of the Trido region, which is not even famous at all. Both of you are so weak, and we all are better trainers than you are." Said Max as they all laughed.

That was it. Dima had been quiet for a while, and had decided to take action.

"What do you mean by harsh consequences Brock?" said Dima.

"Well considering the fact, that you're willing to ship illegal Rare Candies, which is a crime, we can't let you travel, and we have to turn you in. Therefore, if you disagree with us, we will not hesitate to call Officer Jenny. Or eliminate you both here, once and for all" said Brock.

Dima deeply inhaled and exhaled, while Ash let a tear down his cheek.

Dima knew that it was time to get out of there. They had to leave, now. "If that's the case…," said Dima.

He nodded toward Morpeko, who launched an electro ball at their feet. The house was filled with smoke. The traitors coughed, as Dima grabbed Morpeko and Ash's hand, who grabbed Pikachu, and they ran out of the house.

"Mum! Come with us!" shouted Dima.]

"What's wrong?" Delia said.

Ash then told her everything as they headed towards 's lab.

Delia was shocked to hear what happened after hearing the conversation that took place after she left. Just before they entered the lab, they heard a huge bang. As they looked back towards their house, it was ripped into smithereens. Angry and worried, they entered the lab and saw Pr. Oak and Gary.

"Pr. Oak! Gary! Help us!" shouted Ash. He had gained his senses back, but he was extremely pissed.

"What's wrong Ash/Ashy-Boy?"

Ash then told them everything, as they listened carefully. Suddenly, Gary spoke up, "Those bastards…"

Oak nodded and took them in the back garden.

"I don't think you're safe here. You two should go away for now. I don't know where, but away from here."

"Okay"

"Ms. Delia, I would recommend you to stay here with us, at the laboratory", said Gary.

Delia nodded and went inside. So did the others.

"Okay then. I have decided to do this. I am going to give you the new pokedex I am working on. It is still needs to be upgraded, but it is perfect for now. Take it" Oak said as he took their old Pokedexs, entered the data in the new ones, and handed them to Ash and Dima. They looked like pocket watches, and as they were based on NanoTech, they could be decreased in size for easy transportation.

"Right. These are, the TransmissionDexs. Much, MUCH better than the standard Pokedexs. Using these, you can contact anyone through video call, record videos and audios, look at the world map in 3d view, and check your Pokémon's status in a much more detailed manner." The boys took the Dexs and collected all the Pokémon they had left over at professor Oak's lab. They thanked the professor and were about to head off when he stopped them. "Wait! I forgot this!" said , as he took out two mauve colored cards from his pocket and handed them to Ash and Dima. "These, are the PokeCards. I recently became a member of the International Pokémon Research Facility, so I got some privileges. These cards allow you to carry infinite number of Pokémon with you and you can use these cards anywhere on Earth to get the best rooms or free service in some specific restaurants and hotels." The boys thanked the kind Professor and went to meet their mother. They parted ways in huge tears and then went away, Arceus knows, for how long.

FLASHBACK END

Tears had started falling down Ash's cheeks as he looked over the valley in grief. He still remembered the rest of the story. They flew away on their Charizards over to Mt. Moon and entered the Pokémon Centre over there to eat something and discuss the further decisions. Dima suggested leaving the region, so that even if the traitors tried to find them, it would be tough. He also added the logic that they had been announced as International criminals on at least the Kanto servers by then. Therefore, if someone saw them in the Kanto region, they would get suspicious and the brothers would have to go to prison. After a day of brainstorming, they decided to split. Ash decided to go the Omni Region and settle himself in the Lunar Cave (where the legendary Pokémon Creselia is suspected to reside) and Dima decided to head off to the Inferno Mountain in the Core Region (where the legendary Pokémon Groudon lives). They parted ways in tears and promised to come back and meet each other in one year. 10 years had passed since then, and they never met.

The only thing that caused momentary relief in Ash's heart was that after being 6 years into hiding, the truth had come out. The police had closed the case on the Ketchum brothers, assuming they were dead, but one of the Officers decided to investigate the case further to make a final report. As one thing left to another, the case ended. The truth was that Trip had actually shipped eleven boxes of Rare Candies for HIMSELF, but if he did that, he would be caught. Therefore, he filled the Ketchum's residence as the shipping address and framed the two brothers. Fortunately, the officers decided to talk to the Trido region Rare Candy shipping centres and when the showed the bill to the manager and asked him who put this order up, the manager gave a full description of Trip. Even though half the force was convinced that Trip had done it, the officers decided to investigate further, and found a recording. It was the recording of the conversation between the manager and Trip, and Trip could be heard saying that he was tired of his weak Pokémon and placed the order for the candies, paying extra. The next day, Trip was arrested and questioned, where he finally admitted the crime and was put behind bars. The whole world, and especially the Officer Jenny of the Kanto region, the officer who decided to investigate the case after 6 years of closure, mourned and cried for the Ketchum brothers who had died due to someone else's sins… at least, that is what they thought. Both the Ketchum brothers were world famous, due to their huge contribution in bringing down Team Magma, Plasma, Flare and Rocket. Hence, their death was considered a huge loss for the world. Mr. Goodshow even tried sending out spies to see whether the Ketchum brothers were alive or not, but all in vain.

Ash had stood on the cliff for more than an hour now, with Pikachu on his shoulder. Just then, a figure came out of the cave behind him with extreme speed and brought a hand up as it was about to strike Ash. The moment the hand came down, it petted Pikachu on its back.

"I see you both are reminiscing old memories. May I join in too, Master?"

"Of course, Lucario, and I wouldn't have saved you from the group of angry Tourus' if I knew you would call me master"

{I am not going to describe Lucario, if you are reading this story, I am pretty sure you already know what Lucario looks like.}

The blew Jackal replied with a bow, "My apologies, Master"

Ash rolled his eyes as he, Pikachu and Lucario looked down towards the river that was flowing near the cliff, the cliff where Lunar Cave was, where Ash spent 10 years, training, getting stronger. They were about to head inside when Ash sensed the Aura of another living being around him. That would not be so surprising, as there were many living beings around him. His Pokémon, but what he sensed was the Aura of another human, surprisingly, similar to his own. Ash did not even need to squint his eyes to see the figure that was emerging form the thick mist from the clouds. He saw a man, on a Charizard, flying towards them. Ash gasped to see the Charizard, because the Charizard was of pure black color. Even the flame on his tail was burning black with a hint of… green. The Charizard's appearance is not what made him gasp, because he had seen that Charizard before. He knew whom it belonged too, and the thought made him happy and confused in equal amounts. The Charizard landed on the cliff, opposite to Ash's Charizard. Both the Charizard gave low growls, equally intimidating, before they shook paws. The man got off the Charizard, and walked towards Ash, in his blue cloak. Ash was shocked to see him here. The man was 6" 6 and his chest and arms were just a little bit more muscular than Ash's, but the difference was almost negligible. Ash walked up to the man and locked into a manly embrace with him; while Ash's red colored cloak bellowed with the wind.

"What took you so long?" said Ash in a calm, deep but depressed voice.

"I am truly sorry, brother. However, I am here now and I have some interesting news for you. As I feared, it's time to go back in the real world."
