Here we go, Chapter 5. I have no clue what to do now, because the story can take many different turns.

I guess I'll just have to go with the flow.

Anyways, Chapter 5? Ash will have his first official battle; they will all realize that someone is trying to do weird shit (I am talking about the voice in Giovanni's head in chapter 2) and the Maxie part will be explained. Also, a nasty surprise by the assholes. You know who.

Enjoy!

Maxie was walking alongside Chief Officer Jenny of the Trido region. They had arrived in the Trido region the previous day. Currently, they were headed towards the Special Forces HQ.

"Are you even sure that this will work?" Maxie asked nervously.

"I am positive. After all, you're determined on taking revenge. It may take some time for them to trust you, but they eventually will. You'll have to work hard in order to do that." the officer replied.

Maxie sighed, as the two were getting closer to the HQ's. Only one thought kept swirling around Maxie's mind.

"God help me."

All the champions were sitting in the Council's room in the Special Forces HQ. They received a call from Charles personally, and were called over to the HQ's

They were all sipping on glasses of water, looking at each other.

"Why do you think he's called us here?" Wallace asked, not expecting an answer.

They all looked at each other and shrugged.

"He did say it was an emergency. Lord knows." Cynthia said.

Just then, the door opened, and in came Charles and Scott. They both had vexed expressions on their faces and were muttering something to each other.

The champions looked at them in confusion.

"What happened Charles? Why have you called us all here?" Lance asked.

Charles snorted and looked at Scott. Scott gave an equally irritated grunt and said, "We have a problem. And a really big one."

A look of concern occurred over every person in the room. The scrutinized Charles, and Steven asked, "What happened?"

Charles took a deep breath and said, "Well, a few days ago, around 50 rocket grunts were seen near a Pokemon Sanctuary in the Kalos region. They were trying to steal some Pokemon. They were taken into custody yesterday and are currently being questioned."

They all nodded.

"The problem?" Alder asked.

"Yeah. Well you see the Rocket grunts were actually only behind one species of Pokemon. They were trying to steal all the Lucarios. When questioned, they finally confessed that Giovanni demanded the Lucarios for a secret weapon he is creating. They knew nothing more than that." Charles said.

"So everything's okay NOW, right?" Diantha said.

"Not even close." Charles replied, and continued, "You see, we had to know more about what he was doing, but we didn't know how. Therefore, we had to turn to our only option, the Team Magma leader, Maxie. Years ago, when all the team leaders had escaped prison, the only leader left behind was Maxie. We interrogated him and he told us that Giovanni didn't include him and only him in this big mission of his."

He continued, "It turns out Maxie knew about the weapon. He told us that Giovanni is making a machine that is powered by Aura. Hence, he tried to steal the Lucarios."

The room went silent. No one even dared to breathe.

"Maxie gave us a bit more information. He told us that Giovanni hasn't really been his normal self for many years. After escaping prison, he turned merciless and gruesome than before. It's as if he's possessed. So by now, I think we all know Giovanni doesn't plan on doing something small. His aim is conquering the world."

Everyone stayed silent for a few minutes, as they sensed the trouble.

Then finally, Diantha spoke up, "Well then, I am guessing you have called us for our cooperation in stopping them?"

Charles and Scott nodded.

"Okay then." She continued, "I personally accept your proposition, and I am pretty sure I speak collectively for everyone when I say that." She looked at the other champions, who nodded.

Charles and Scott nodded at each other.

"Now, for the second thing." Scott said.

He dialed a number on his cellphone and spoke, "Is he here?"

Everyone else heard a crackling voice from the other head and Scott simply said, "Hm." In response as he hung up.

"Now we have another unexpected ally in our mission to stop Giovanni."

The moment he said that, the door opened and two people came in.

When the champions saw the second person, they retaliated in shock. Lance almost fell of his chair, and Alder choked on his glass of water. Cynthia and Diantha glared at him.

"Okay, look. I know you don't really feel comfortable with Maxie being here, but our enemy's enemy is our friend." Charles said sweat dropping.

"That doesn't matter. No way in hell we're going to work with him." Cynthia snarled.

"My god you really think I want to work with you guys too? Over my dead body! I just want to get my revenge with Giovanni and go back to prison where I can peacefully die!" Maxie said, irritated.

Everyone growled at him, but then Scott said, "Enough everyone! Maxie, you want you revenge, right? Then work with us! As for you Champions, what even is the problem? You're getting free help, and if he tries anything fishy, you can finish him!" Scott said, while Maxie gave a fake hurt look.

Everyone went silent, and after giving each other a glance, nodded in agreement.

"Good. Now then this is settled, the final thing. We will be carrying out our mission after the Master's tournament. I have decided to include Ash and Dima in the plan too, seeing how strong they are and also considering the fact that we could use some of their physical strength." Scott said.

Everyone looked pleased when Scott proposed the idea, as they trusted the duo, and to clear any doubts, the duo were the PAWADE~YOU.

"Now, as we will carry out the mission after the tournament, right now, I want our primary and most important focus to be on finding the legendary duo, the Pawāde~you. I have decided to send a global message out on every single communicating device, so that they can hear our call. I am sure they will contact us after realizing the situation." Scott said.

The champions in the room smiled.

Before anyone could say anything, Maxie suddenly looked up from where he was sitting and said in a dark voice, "Good. I want to meet the two of them personally and thank them for ruining that asshole's plans."

Everyone gave him a disgusted glance, and Diantha said, "Yeah Scott. About that."

Scott turned to her as she continued speaking, "This might be a big surprise, but the Ketchum brothers are the Pawāde~you."

Scott's expression didn't change for a whole minute. He was emotionless.

"That hit harder than I thought." Diantha thought.

"Umm… Scott?" Charles checked whether Scott was still alive.

Then suddenly, Scott bursted, "THE TWO BROTHERS ARE THE PAWADE~YOU AND THEY DIDN'T EVEN TELL ME? DO THEY EVEN KNOW HOW LONG HAS IT BEEN SINCE WE'VE BEEN SEARCHING FOR THEM?! BLOODY HELL THEY'RE SUCH A PAIN IN THE ASS GOD DAMN IT!" Scott ranted, and gasped for air.

The champions smiled at his reaction, while Maxie looked angry.

"So those two assholes had been destroying the plans. They never rest do they? Even before being the Pawāde~you, they kept poking their noses in our business. Ugh such pests." Maxie said.

Lance raised both his hands and softly said, "I couldn't care less about your health, but if you really wanna live, you better not talk shit about the two of them. Moreover, I am not saying this because I won't do anything. To be honest, even the ones you're talking about won't do anything."

Maxie looked confused, "Then who am I supposed to be scared off?"

Lance said nothing as he pointed towards Cynthia and Diantha. As Maxie looked at them, a chill went down his spines as he saw Cynthia and Diantha giving him death glances.

"Anyways, let's just call the brothers here." Charles said.

Everyone nodded and Alder switched his cellphone on. He dialed Ash's number and when he picked it up, Alder started talking, "Ash, we need you and Dima down here at the Special Forces HQ now. Charles and Scott have something important to tell you."

Everyone else in the room heard Ash's voice loud and clear as Alder's phone was in the speaker mode.

"Um... What is this all of a sudden? I'll ask Dima if he- Hey Snorlax! We're training wake up! Don't sleep there! NO NO NO! Don't sleep on Glaceon! Damn it man! Hey Alder, can I call you back? I literally JUST caught this Snorlax, mere minutes ago. I decided to train him but he's a lot of work. Just call and ask Dima okay? I'll be there when I'm done with him." Ash said.

Everyone in the room laughed, including Maxie.

"That's the rotten pimp? His voice is fairly deeper, he's grown." Maxie said.

Cynthia rolled her eyes, and Alder dialed Dima's number.

Dima picked up the call.

"Dima, we need you and Ash down here at the Special Forces HQ now. Charles and Scott have something important to tell you." Alder repeated the same words.

The phone was on speaker again, and Dima's voice was groggy.

"Hello? Alder? Yeah, sorry about my voice, I was just resting."

"Resting? It's 2 in the afternoon."

"Yeah well I woke up at 4:00 in the morning for training. I returned to my room half an hour ago."

The Champions had an expression of awe on their faces, except Diantha who shrieked.

"You woke up at four and trained for nine and a half hours straight?! What the hell is wrong with you nitwit?!"

Dima's giggling could be heard, as he said, "Hey, is that Diantha? Hey di, yeah I did train for nine and a half hours, but that was to make up for yesterday. You know, I overslept yesterday so I couldn't train."

Alder exhaled loudly and said, "Whatever. Just come over here with Ash, the matter's serious."

"Sure, we'll be there. 20 minutes?" Dima said.

"What the actual fuck? 20 minutes? The HQ's are at the west subsidiary islands, while your hotel is on the main island. It will take you both more than two hours to be here even if you take the fastest plane!" Alder said.

Dima chuckled.

"Who said anything about planes? Brother and I have our Charizards, and they both fly Mach 15. See you in 20 minutes, Alder."

As the connection died, everyone looked at each other in disbelief.

Maxie gulped and said, "What the hell did they do to get so strong?"

Cynthia looked at him and snarled, "That's the result of 10 years of training in isolation and suffering."

"So I gave them one job, and they failed?" Giovanni said, to his messenger.

"Seems that way, boss. They all were caught and are now in prison. I am having a strong feeling that things are going to get ugly from here."

Giovanni closed his eyes for a minute, and when happened them, he gestured the messenger to leave.

Once Giovanni made sure that he was alone, he closed his eyes again, and instantly he heard the dark voice.

"What am I supposed to do now, master? We don't have enough power for the machine to work." Giovanni asked, telepathically.

The voice replied, "You don't have to worry about that. Looks like we'll have to delay the plan, but it is worth the wait."

Giovanni agreed.

"Is the bug planted?" the voice asked.

"Well it has been planted successfully. But I doubt if it will work properly or not."

"Don't worry about that child, it will. Your dreams of conquering the world will surely come true."

"Of course. I trust you, Master. I will surely stand by your side."

"Good good. Rest for now, I'll be back."

"Sure. Thank you, Master Shinigami. You should rest too."

The sound faded, and Giovanni opened his eyes.

He got up from his seat and walked over to the glass panes in his room.

His hands behind his back, he looked at his enormous, truly beautiful machine.

"Don't worry Master Shinigami. You'll surely be able to enter this world, and put an end to the Pawade~you."

Ash opened the door, and entered the Council's Room. He saw all the champions sitting around the table.

He was wearing a carmine red T-shirt and a pair of blue jeans. He had cut off his hair too, which was messy, like his old self, but even better now. He decided to go with a clean-shaven look. He had his Pokeballs (shrunken) in his pocket. He had red and white sneakers on.

He saw another man and froze.

"Well well, turns out Team Magma's biggest mistake is here too." Ash said, in a dark tone.

"Hey there, brat." Maxie replied.

Ash ignored him and waved towards everyone, he went and sat beside Cynthia. Cynthia gave him a kiss, which he gladly returned.

"Hi" she whispered.

They were about to start talking when the door opened again and Dima walked in. He was wearing a Prussian blue T-shirt and a pair of black jeans. He had blue and yellow snickers on.

He saw Maxie too, but didn't give any reaction. He simply looked at Charles with a "really?" look, and sat down besides Diantha.

She gave him a quick kiss and Dima smiled and returned it.

"What's with all the red and blue?" Lance asked.

The brothers laughed and said, "Well we've worn red and blue cloaks for 10 years. It's kind of our favorite color now." Dima smiled and nodded.

They all faced Scott.

Scott nodded and looked at the brothers, "Nice weather isn't it?" he said.

The two looked at him in confusion and slowly nodded.

"Makes me wanna talk about something interesting." He continued.

"You okay, Scott?" Ash asked. Dima nodded, equally confused.

"Yeah yeah I am alright! But I want to talk about something interesting! Say… oh how about the Pawāde~you?"

Ash's face showed no emotion, as he looked at Dima.

Dima raised one of his brow and looked at the other Champions.

They showed fake confused looks too.

Dima looked at Ash again, sighed and nodded, who nodded.

"You told him, didn't you?" Ash asked the champions.

"Yeah." Cynthia said.

Ash sighed and looked at Scott, who was fuming.

"Okay Scot-" Ash started, but Scott raised his hand.

"Leave it. I've already had an outburst. I am gonna get down to the real deal." Scott said.

"Hm." Ash said.

"So, what is he doing here?" Dima said, pointing towards Maxie.

Scott explained them everything from the beginning. After hearing the whole thing, the brothers looked at each other nervously.

"Well? What do you say?" Scott asked.

Ash turned to Maxie and asked, "What did you mean by the statement that Giovanni looks like as if he's possessed?"

Maxie shrugged and said, "Well, his eyes are a lot darker than before, and his punishments are more gruesome than before. Sometimes, I even saw him surrounded with a black colored mist."

Ash nodded, and Dima asked, "Something like this?" as he activated his Aura and his body glowed blue.

Maxie looked at him wide-eyed, "How the hell… oh right you're a part of the Pawāde~you. Who are you, Shiroi?"

Dima nodded.

Maxie continued, "Yeah, just like that, but his… what is it… Aura? It was black."

Dima deeply exhaled and Ash turned to him.

"It had to happen with us, right? I mean there have been more than 10 Aura Knights before us." Ash asked. His voice was laced with annoyance.

"Yeah. This is strange, and his host is the person with the maximum amount of malice in his heart. Man, fuck Giovanni." Dima answered.

"So what are we going to do now? You and I both know that we have to be ready at all costs."

"We don't have an option to attack after the tournament. We have to prepare a good defense and have to be ready for the attack."

"You mind telling us what are you talking about?" Diantha asked, tugging on his sleeve.

Dima smiled and nodded, "Yeah. Okay." He turned to Ash and said, "Start from the beginning."

Ash nodded, "Our world is not the only world in this universe. Arceus created everything in exact opposites. Joy-Grief, Attract-Repel, Dusk-Dawn, even Shiroi-Kuro. So the same way, there was another pair. Matter-Antimatter. Arceus is the ruler of the universe; it is her job to watch over all the worlds in order to maintain balance. Hence, to ease her job, she created three primary Pokemon who were assigned with certain jobs to create and take care of the different segments of the universe. The Creation Trio."

Ash stopped talking as Dima continued, "Dialga was assigned the job to watch over and take care of the irregularities in the vast abyss. The God of Space. Palkia was assigned with the job to keep track and maintain balance in the stream of time. The God of Time. Moreover, Giratina was given the job to maintain law in the anti-matter dimension. He punishes the spirits who don't obey the rules of the "Dark Realm"." Dima finished.

Ash picked up again, "The problem we're facing with is the Dark Realm. Living beings like humans do not reside in the Dark Realm. It consists of spirits made up of Anti Matter. They're known as Dark Spirits. From the beginning of time, the Dark Spirits hated the humans. They used to sneak upon the earth, taking humanoid forms, and play tricks on the humans. A few decades later, it turned into a war. The war continued for many years until Arceus came in between and ordered Giratina to take the Dark Spirits back to their realm, while Dialga took the humans back to the earth. Palkia was ordered to rewind the time in order to restore the world from its damages." Ash finished.

"But, there was one spirit, which was determined to take over the human world."

The brothers looked at each other, and then faced the group.

They said in unison, "That spirit is Shinigami."

Dima started talking, "Shinigami hates the human world, and has been trying to take over through discussions and debates in the Dark Realm council. He even tried to do it forcefully, but Giratina punished him. That is when Giratina made the biggest mistake."

"What?" Diantha asked.

"He locked him away, and didn't kill him. That is actually pretty common when it comes to Giratina. He is the God of the Dark Realm, which is why everyone thinks of him as a ruthless and unforgiving Pokemon. Giratina is in fact a soft Pokemon at heart, and he doesn't give harsh punishment. Anyways, he locked Shinigami away. But Shinigami had some pupils who followed him like sheep, and they freed him. Shinigami disappeared and vowed to have his revenge." Dima finished.

Ash took it up, "Then a prophecy was made, which basically said that Shinigami will return and will be truly strong. The prophecy has come true. Shinigami has returned, and it has defeated Giratina, further taking control of it. He has also taken control over Dialga, and Palkia and Arceus have been captured."

The room went extremely silent. The fear quickly set in, and Maxie finally broke the silence.

"As much as I enjoyed the little story, I want to straight away get to the solution to the problem." He said.

Cynthia yelled, "What the hell is wrong with you? Do you-"

"No, he's right Cynth." Ash cut her off.

She looked at Ash with an expression of disbelief.

"He's right. We need to come up with a plan." Cynthia frowned and nodded. Ash cracked his knuckles and finally spoke, looking at everyone.

"We have no other option but to do this. This will be OUR fight until we free Arceus and Palkia. After that, Dima and I will handle this."

Dima nodded.

"So are you all in?"

Without a moment of hesitation, the others nodded. The brothers smiled and nodded too.

"Okayy thennn." Ash said, "Dima, we have to make a plan, so I expect you to do your thing."

Dima smirked and nodded.

"What do you mean his thing?" Charles asked.

"Oho ho ho ho ho, you're going to love it. Dima's planning is amazing. Every time when we worked together as The Pawāde~you… Now that we think of it we never worked together as the Pawāde~you…. Anyways, in some of the missions, Dima sent me the plans to carry out and terminate the target. He was always the one who made the whole plan and I mainly executed it." Ash said.

Then, Dima got up from his seat, stretched and said, "Well, I did the math, and if I am not wrong, which I never am, they will not attack us anytime soon. They will either attack after the tournament, or just before its end. And before you ask Scott, no. Brother and I can read minds, but not Giovanni's. He has placed a psychic resistance in his brain. Including all his grunts."

They all nodded and Charles said, "Alright. We'll see what we can do. For now, Dima, I expect you to keep a strategy handy, and you can focus on the tournament."

With this, all everyone left the room.

-XXXX-

"I don't even care, to be honest. So what if the voices made us do THAT? We were planning on leaving his weak ass anyways." Misty snarled.

The other traitors nodded, while Serena didn't

"I didn't want to betray him like you all. The voices made me." She thought.

Dima was heading to the Pokemon Centre. He entered the Pokemon Centre and saw the traitors. The traitors saw him too, and glared.

"Umm..." Dima started, his expression neutral.

"Yeah? What do you want?" Max asked, his voice like venom.

"I should be the one to ask you that. What are you weaklings even doing here? Did you even make it to the main matches?" Dima asked.

"Yes we did, and it's only a matter of time when we'll beat you. You're still as weak as before, and so is your idiotic brother, Ketchum." Iris said.

"Sure, can't wait, Iris. I am really interested in battling you though, I would like to see your dragons." Dima said, his voice laced with honey. He smirked.

A chill went down Iris' spine as she remembered the two dragons Dima had used.

"Yeah? Well Iris will beat you to the ground! You'll be sorry that you were ever born!" Cilan said, kissing her cheek.

"Nice." Dima said.

"Yeah! I swear to god I am gonna win this whole thing and be the Pokemon Master! You'll see what real strength is, Dima!" Max said.

"Oh, yes. I cannot WAIT to face you guys." Dima said, popping his neck sideways and cracking his knuckles.

"Okay that's it." Serena said. "Dima, can we talk, there's something I need to tell you."

Dima was a bit taken aback, because Serena sounded softer and more genuine than the other traitors did.

"What do you want to talk about? I don't really have any rare candies to give you." Dima said, his voice as hard as stone.

"Look I am sorry okay? Can we please just talk? Alone?" she pleaded.

Dima thought for a moment and nodded.

"Don't tell me you're interested in that jerk, Serena." Misty said.

"I am pretty sure she isn't a slut like you, Misty. And even if she was, then It's no use." Dima said.

"What? Why?... anyways that's not what I want." Serena said.

"What do you mean by that, Dima?" Iris said.

"Figure it out yourself… Kid." Dima said, his voice like silk.

Iris was fuming in anger, while the others glared at him.

Serena and Dima headed over to the counter where Nurse Joy was. Dima gave his Pokemon to Nurse Joy, and the traitors left.

"Well?" Dima said, his tone rough and hostile.

"Okay Dima look. I know you will hate me even more after this and maybe won't forgive me, but it's the truth. I never meant to betray you both, at all. I was heading over to your house that day to meet you all. I was actually going to ask you both to join in on your journey, but I met those people on the way, and they kept forcing me to go against you. Of course, I denied. When they decided to use force, I barely managed to escape, but suddenly, a voice took over my head. The voice was dark and gloomy, and it directly instructed me to obey them. I was forced to. I didn't mean to! At all! Even those people said that they heard the voices in their head and that resulted in them blasting off the house, otherwise they were not planning to kill you. They were just going to leave you! I am sorry! I am so sorry!" Serena finished in tears, and she couldn't control herself.

When she calmed down, she looked at Dima. His face was neutral, but little did she know that his mind was blazing with anger. Anger, but not for her.

"I have to see whether she's telling the truth or not. If she is, then Shinigami, you will die. But what if she isn't? What if it's one of their cheap tricks? Let's see." He thought.

"I know you won't forgive me, and that's okay. But I had to tell you the truth, so that's that. I am sorry you had to suffer because of a terrible friend like me." Serena said.

"Okay. Serena? I am going to do something, and it is to check whether you're lying or not. Don't worry, it's not going to hurt you." Dima said, softly.

Serena furiously nodded, ready to do anything.

Dima closed his eyes and placed a hand on his cheek. His hand glowed blue.

Serena was blushing mad as she noticed his facial features. His touch felt soft enough to make her feel aroused.

She frowned when Dima took his hand off.

"Well, looks like you're not lying. And if that's the case," Dima said, and he smiled, "I forgive you, and I am pretty sure that brother will too. But we won't trust you just yet." He finished.

Serena jumped on him, hugging him. He returned the hug and said, "I think you won't be hanging out with them now?" Dima asked.

"Yeah. Never." Serena said.

"Good. I'll call brother over to my hotel room and explain him everything. So I suggest you not to speak anything until I instruct you to, okay?" Dima said.

Serena plainly nodded. The only person she loved with all her heart, totally hated her. She wanted a chance to revive.

-XXXXX-

"Well what now? Serena's joined the jerks." Dawn said.

"Riiiiight. Well who cares?" Max said and everybody nodded.

"We have to focus on winning this thing. But the jerks have grown stronger, what should we do?" Misty said.

"I am sure the two of them are dating. You heard what Dima said. Sounds like they are dating. We could use that to our advantage." Brock said.

The other traitors considered it for a moment when Cilan finally said, "I think that's a great idea. We need to spy on them for some time, see who they're dating."

Before anyone could say anything, Dawn shook her head and said, "We don't need to. Dima is dating Diantha. 100% sure."

May said, "Yes. And I am pretty sure Ash is dating Cynthia."

Every other traitor realized what they were saying, remembering the old time.

"Well then." Max said, "Get on with it. Weave a plan."

Everyone nodded and started brainstorming.

-XXXXX-

"Dima?" Ash said, knocking on his door. "Come in!" Dima said. Ash opened the door and went in.

Dima had called Ash to his hotel room. The moment Dima said it's an emergency, Ash came running. Now that he entered the room, he saw Dima sitting on his desk, going through the matchups list.

"So, what's up?" Ash asked.

Dima switched his Dex off and looked at Ash, "Oh nothing much. I was just going through the future main matches. You know, strategy and stuff like that."

"Why'd you call me here?"

"Okay… Umm look, I know you're gonna kill me after this, but I need you to keep calm and listen, okay? It doesn't matter what decision you will take, you have full rights to kick my ass." Dima said.

"uhh…what? Whatever. Okay." Ash replied.

Dima took a deep breath and called out, "Right! Come on out now!"

Ash was confused, but he saw the bathroom door open, and a figure walked out.

The moment Ash saw the person, his blood froze. Serena gave a nervous smile and waved at him.

Ash lowered his head and clenched his fists, "So, you're cheating on Diantha? And with her?" Ash said, his voice low, dark and scary.

Dima, however, wasn't intimidated, "If I would have wanted to cheat on Diantha, I wouldn't risk my life on that ship."

Ash gave a low growl, but took a deep breathe, and facing Serena, he yelled, "WHAT DO YOU WANT?"

Serena flinched at his reaction, and tears threatened to fall out of her eyes. She managed to suppress the tears, and said, voice trembling, "Look, Ash? I know you hate me with all your heart right now, and you have the right to do that. So I am not here to ask for your forgiveness, but please, just hear me out. Please?" she said.

Her voice was super polite. Ash somehow managed stop his hand from locking with her jaw, and calmly said, "Okay, speak."

Serena explained everything she explained to Dima. Ash was shocked when he heard all that, and just like Dima, anger was building up inside him.

Ash spoke, his voice calm, "If this is true… then I…I… okay this is it. I am going to check whether you're telling the truth or not. And if you're not… then Serena, I don't ever want to see your face again; my hate will deepen and deepen for you."

Serena couldn't keep it in anymore, and she burst out crying. She loved Ash, and hearing all this from him made her heart ache.

"But…" Ash added softly, "If this is the truth… then I'll forgive you, and we can be friends again."

Dima chocked on his glass of OJ as he looked at Ash bewildered.

"Are you serious brother? You're really going to forgive her?" Dima said.

"Yeah. It won't be her fault after all." Ash replied, smiling.

Dima just stared at him. He couldn't believe it. ASH was talking about forgiving.

"That's pretty rare you know. You don't really forgive so easily in the other FanFics." Dima said.

"Yeah?" Ash asked, his voice teasing, "Well, the author of this story is an idiot then." Ash said.

Dima nodded.

Serene looked at both of them, "FanFic? Author? What are you two talking about?"

"Oh nothing. Leave it. Apparently, the author has decided to display you as a dumb character." Dima replied.

Serena's confusion grew even more.

Ash chuckled and put his hand on Serena's cheek. This time, Serena blushed even harder than before.

Dima was attractive, sure, but she LOVED Ash, and getting touched by him was amazing.

Ash noticed this and chuckled, while Serena averted her gaze.

Ash's hand glowed blue as he closed his eyes. They all waited, and Ash removed his hand.

"Well… Looks like you weren't lying. In that case… I forgive you, Serena. But it's going to take time when it comes to gaining my trust back." Ash finally said.

Serena put a hand on her mouth in disbelief. Ash could see she was holding her tears.

She looked down. "What is it?" Ash asked.

Her voice was compressed, barely audible, "Would it be inappropriate to hug you right now?" Serena asked.

Ash gave a stifled a laugh and said, "No."

Serena jumped on him, and cried. Ash smiled as he returned the hug.

"Awww.." Dima said, and yawned. Serena quickly jumped off him and blushed hard. Ash shook his head, clearly vexed.

"Anyways, I think I'll head out." Serena said. The brothers nodded.

"See you guys!"

She went out of the room and took the stairs to the right. Luckily, the Champions Cynthia and Diantha were heading towards Dima's room. Cynthia knew Ash had to be there.

"So, what do you think of the next few rounds? Charles decided to go for team matches." Diantha said.

Cynthia gave a frustrated grunt.

"Yeah, and that sucks. Dima and Ash are now a team. Seriously, that's not fair! They'll wipe us all out!" Cynthia said, and pouted.

Diantha chuckled, "If only Ash was here to see you."

Cynthia looked at her and said, "You won't even believe what happened. When Charles introduced the idea of coupled matches, Dima and Ash decided to be together. Charles allowed anything but THAT, and the brothers felt that was unfair, so Charles decided to do it with spinning wheels for the Champions and the Elite fours. Moreover, guess what? The brothers got together even by the wheels! Damn it!"

Diantha gave a short laugh, and said, "Its okay Cynthia. We have to win three matches as partners to enter the next round. Luckily, none of our next three matches is with the brothers. Moreover, even if there was, there is nothing to be scared of! We're the strongest champions for a reason." Diantha said.

Cynthia smiled and said, "I am glad I got to be your partner."

The two of them reached Dima's door and were about to knock when they heard voices from inside. They could hear two people talking.

"Sounds like Ash and Dima." Cynthia whispered.

"Yeah. You wanna eavesdrop?" Diantha asked, with an evil smile.

"I never knew you had a dark side." Cynthia said, as the two stifled a laugh.

Luckily, the door was a bit open.

Cynthia widened the creek as the two women peaked inside. The moment they peaked inside, blood trickled down their noses.

Ash was sitting on a chair shirtless, holding a dumbbell. He skin was sheening with sweat, as if he was pumping iron a few minutes ago.

He was staring at the dumbbell, deep in thought.

Dima was on a pull-ups machine, apparently, doing pull ups. Shirtless, of course.

The toned muscles on their chest, stomach, back and hands were enough to make two girls go crazy.

They decided to hear the conversation that was going on between the two gorgeous men.

{ALRIGHT MOTHERFUCKERS, SMART ASH COMING UP.}

"We only have to consider a few people. Only six, in fact." Ash said.

Dima nodded and replied, "Yeah. The others can be handled with minor strategies." Dima said.

"Yeah. So let's go through the pairs. Cynthia-Diantha, Steven-Wallace, and Lance-Alder. Correct?"

"Yes."

"Who do you think will be the toughest?"

"Cynthia and Diantha. No doubt. 100% sure they'll be the real challenge."

"Yeah, but we don't have matches with them as pairs."

"Right, but it's Charles we're talking about. He IS going to do something surprising. Might as well be ready for every pair."

"Makes sense. Okay. Let's go through Cynthia first, shall we? She'll have to choose three Pokemon for the battle. My predictions are Garchomp, Spiritomb and Lucario. Yours?"

"I think she's going to with Garchomp, Lucario and Milotic with as. Her Milotic is totally something else."

"Yeah. It's really pretty. Just like her."

"Focus brother."

"Yeah sorry, anyways, Let's take both teams into consideration. The difference is Lucario and Milotic. If she decides to go with Lucario, I'll face her. I'll counter with my own Lucario. I am going to try to suppress my move set only to 5-6 moves, to make it a challenge for us. Using extremespeed against her is pointless, because if two Lucario's are fighting each other, their speed won't make a difference. Their Auras will. I will be the one to battle Cynthia, and you're going to be the one to battle Diantha, right?"

"Yes."

"Okay, next, Garchomp. Her Garchomp is her best Pokemon, and underestimating her at any point means death. I think I am going to use my secret weapon for her Garchomp."

"Which one?"

"I am planning to use Hydreigon. Naganadel is a good option too."

"Hm."

"At least I'll easily be able to prevent ground type moves that way. It will be critical for both of us, but at least she'll have fun."

"Makes sense."

"Next, Spiritomb. Now that will be interesting, and I am not willing to take any risks there. Straight up Fairy type."

"Sylveon?"

"Nope, Grimmsnarl."

"Ah. Smart. Extremely heavy damage with fairy types, and extra damage by dark attacks."

"Yes."

"Good."

"As for Milotic, you're the one who's going to face her, Dima. What are you going to do?"

"Charizard."

"Ah, I see. Don't you think that's a bad idea? Although I trust your judgement."

"Oh no no no. I don't mean to use my original Charizard. I'll use the Lu-Charizard."

"Ohhhh… that's good."

"Yep. Okay, so next up, Diantha."

"Yeah. I don't have any assumptions for her team."

"Hm. If it comes to three Pokemon… I think Tyrantrum, Goodra and of course, Gardevoir. Her three strongest ones. The other ones won't require a long strategy. They can be handled by "on the spot" thinking."

"Okay."

"Yeah. First off, Gardevoir. Di's Gardevoirs is going to be the toughest to beat, because there bond is fantastic. But, I was ACTUALLY waiting for this day. The kind of bond she shares with Gardevoir, is the bond I share with 5 pokemon."

"I know two of them. Who are the other three?"

"Well, the five are Morpeko, Scizor, Gengar, Sylveon and Lucario."

"What?! Even Sylveon?!"

"Yes, anyways. I will be using Gengar against her Gardevoir, because all the pieces fit. Gardevoir is weak to Poison and Ghost type Pokemon, and Gengar is both. Another surprise, Gengar can Mega Evolve too."

"Full of surprises, great idea."

"Yeah. Next, for Tyrantrum, straight up Sylveon. The training I have provided to the previously said five Pokemon is the best I can give them, in my opinion of course, and I hope it will be enough. So, Sylveon."

"Okay…. Goodra?"

"Lu- Charizard. Actually, I would want to go with Charizard, but Lu-Charizard's Mega evolved form is something the world should see. Both the Charizards are dear to me, can't really choose between them."

"So… are you going to use Scizor's other form?"

"What?"

"You know… the bond one. Like the one I share with Greninja. The thing people call Ash-Greninja."

"Oh yes yes, of course I will. But I won't let people call it Dima-Scizor or shit like that.."

"Hahaha okay. What would you like to call it though?"

"Ummm… I'll just like to call it the bond form, nothing else."

"Alright, I guess this is enough for now?"

"Yeah."

The Champions outside the door were listening carefully and were awestruck. Ash was a great battler before, but he wasn't a quick thinker. The visible transition he went through in ten years was impressive.

"My god, there was a time they used to be scared of our skills, and look at them now." Cynthia said.

"True, and I never even knew Dima had such a dark side. Oh… well, he does have a "Dark Dima" side."

The two gave a stifled laugh, and were still in awe.

The trainers inside were planning to defeat the two champions, and they just heard there plan. A normal person would have been angry to hear such a good plot against them, but the two Champions were even happier and felt proud of their boyfriends.

They again heard voices from the inside, and started listening again.

"So do you want to discuss another strategy?" Ash said. He was smiling sadistically, and so was Dima. The Champions wondered why the two were smiling.

"I don't think so, brother. We don't want to give away all our cards to them, do we?" Dima replied, he voice filled with a teasing demeanor.

The two girls froze.

"What? To whom Dima?" Ash asked sarcastically.

"Them brother. THEM." Dima said.

"Oh, by them, do you mean the two angels who have been listening to the two of us for the past 10 minutes behind that door?" Ash said coyly.

Red color filled the cheeks of the two Champions, who knew they were busted. They had completely forgotten that they were trying to eavesdrop on two Aura Knights… on top of that, The Pawāde~you.

Ash gave a short laugh as he put the dumbbell down, and Dima sighed and got off the crossbar and went to the door.

He opened it and found the two Champions; their faces were red, almost enough to challenge a tomato, and they were giving nervous grins, their hands behind their backs.

Dima and Ash laughed like hell. The Champions were surprised to see Dima laugh like that. His icy cold demeanor always gave him an image that wasn't very jolly. Seeing him laughing like this felt surreal… and great.

Ash motioned for the two champions to enter, and the two came in, while Dima closed the door.

"Okay Fine! Stop laughing, you idiots! We were coming over here to meet you two but found you discussing the match strategies and didn't want to disturb you." Diantha said, here voice laced with vexation.

"Right. So that's why you were listening so carefully." Ash said, while Dima laughed harder.

"Well we… we… urgh damnit!" Cynthia yelled.

"That's okay." Ash said, and Dima nodded.

The two Champions were shocked.

"What? You're letting us off that easy?" Cynthia asked.

"Of course. Even though you know all our plans, it doesn't matter. If we feel like it, we're going to quickly switch to our other strategies." Ash said.

"Yep. We spent years trying to perfect our strategies. I think we have more strategies than the total number of iterations in chess." Dima said, his voice serious.

"Yeah, right." Diantha said laughing, but an expression of fear crawled onto her face as the two scrutinized her with a serious expression.

"Wait… you're not kidding?" Diantha asked, stuttering.

The boys smiled and said, "I guess not. I mean more than ALL the iterations is not quite possible, but roughly, we do have around 12,000 quick strategies."

And Dima continued, "And around 500 main strategies."

The girls watched in awe. They couldn't even believe it. What were the boys doing for the past 10 years?

"Oh wait, now that I think of it, that's nowhere close to all the iterations." Dima said.

Ash nodded and sighed.

"Anyways, why did you girls want to talk to us?" Ash asked.

Diantha and Cynthia smiled at each other, and looked at the two boys.

"Okay, Ashy, you're coming with me." She grabbed his hand and led him towards the door.

"Hey! Wait a min-" he never completed the sentence, as Cynthia shut the door.

Dima looked at Diantha, with a confused look on her face. The expression changed from confusion to shock when he saw Diantha take off her shoes and climb onto Dima's bed, with a seductive smile, and sat on top of him.

"Okay whooooah! Di, what are we doing?" Dima asked

"What the two of them went to do." Diantha purred, her voice sending chills down Dima's spine.

"What exactly are they planning on doing?" Dima asked, his voice a bit stuttering, as he realized what was going on.

"Why don't you see for yourself, Dee Dee.?" Diantha said coyly.

Dima gave a big smile at that. He hated it when people called him that, but absolutely loved it when Diantha called him with that name. He felt genuinely blessed when he heard those words come out of her mouth.

She swiftly took off her top. Dima blushed hard when he saw the sight. He understood why men were crazy for her. He never really paid much attention towards that area, but now that he was, he felt like he was in heaven.

Diantha bent down, letting her large bust collide with Dima's toned chest.

"And the reason you've decided NOT to wear a bra is…?" Dima trailed off.

"You'll see in a minute, big boy" Diantha whispered in his year. Dima smiled.

If that's how it was gonna be, then what's the problem after all? As psyched, as he was to lose his virginity, he was not going to let the chance slip.

{Before you people slip your pants off and start away, this is not a lemon scene, so please wait.}

Diantha quickly grabbed his sweatpants and took them off.

"Alright then. Shall we?" Diantha asked, unable to control herself anymore.

"Sure." Dima said smiling, as he gave her a deep kiss.

{SEE? I AM NOT GOING TO ADD LEMONS. UNLESS… UNLESS Y'ALL WANT ME TO. JUST DROP IN A COMMENT AND TELL ME.}

XXXX

"Shit." Misty said. The other traitors looked at her and wondered what was wrong.

"Hey Brock?" she said, turning to the Pewter City Gym leader.

"Yeah?" he asked.

"Our match is with the two jerks." She said.

Brock sweat dropped, and his face showed fear after hearing the words.

"What are you guys going to do? They're going to wipe the floor with you two." Iris said.

"No they're not!" Max yelled, "No they're NOT. They're just two idiots who got lucky. Not again. They'll lose so hard, they won't even realize what happened." He completed.

"Max is right, you two. Don't worry. Let's just discuss the plan again, shall we?" May said.

"Yeah. When is your match anyways?" Cilan asked.

"Five hours from now. That's night. 8:00." Brock answered.

Everyone nodded and went through the whole plan once again.

XXXX

Once again, the stadium was filled with people. They were really interested in watching the match, although it was clear what was going to happen, the match still would be interesting.

"Ladies and Gentleman! Welcome to another round of the coupled up matches! Without any further ado, time to introduce our contestants! On the blue side, we have Pewter City Gym Leader, Brock Harrison and Cerulean City gym leader Misty Waterflower!"

The crowd cheered for the two leaders. The duo waved and Misty blew kisses towards the boys, who apparently, were interested.

"And now… On the red side, we have the two sensational siblings, who have already gained new nicknames from there fans! Here we go! Please welcome, Dima Ketchum and Ash Ketchum! ... or "The Gelid Paragon" and "The Zealous Hero"!"

Dima and Ash entered the battle box from the left side, and the crowd went crazy. People were shouting and cheering them on. A few girls came running towards the boys, jumping over the barriers, only to be blocked by the security guard.

Misty glared at the two brothers. Dima replied with a wink, which made Misty blush.

Dima noticed that and pointed towards Ash. Misty looked at Ash, and Brock and Misty took a step back.

Ash was glaring at them with anger, his fists clenched.

Dima sighed at when he heard there nicknames. He was amused by the choices, Gelid? Zealous? Seriously? Wow.

"As amusing this is, why don't we start the match?" Ash said, smirking at the referee.

The referee nodded, "This match is between Brock-Misty and Ash-Dima. It will be 6v6 battle, wherein each individual trainer gets to use three Pokemon. Substitutions are allowed. Now send out your Pokemon!" The referee yelled.

Misty immediately grabbed a Pokeball from her belt and threw it on the field, "Gyarados! Come on out! she yelled, and Gyarados emerged out of the Pokeball.

Brock yelled, "Zubat! Show them who's boss!" and threw a pokeball out. Zubat emerged from it.

Ash and Dima took there time, muttering a few words to each other.

"What's up jerks? Scared already" Misty taunted.

Ash gave her a sharp glance and was about to reply when he felt a hand on his shoulder. Dima shook his head and Ash slowly nodded.

The brothers grabbed a Pokeball each from their belts under their cloaks and threw them on the field.

"Noivern! Aura bond!" Ash yelled as Noivern emerged from his Pokeball and gave a loud shriek.

Dima didn't say anything, as a Chesnaught appeared out of his Pokeball. The whole stadium watched in disbelief. Noivern stood there, glaring at Gyarados. He was at least 5'11. Way taller than average Noiverns.

As for Chesnaught, he had malice written all over his face. He was 7 feet tall, again, way taller than average Chesnaughts.

XXXX

"Didn't they decide that Dima was going against Brock while Ash was going against Misty?" Alder asked.

Diantha nodded.

"This is going to be crazy. Ash's Pokémon type can heavily damage Gyarados, but Dima's Pokémon type is totally weak against Zubat. What is he trying?" Cynthia asked.

No one spoke, until Lance said, "Let's just hope he knows what he's doing."

XXXX

"I am going to take Brock, you take Misty." Dima said. Ash simply nodded as things started.

The traitors heard that and called out the first move.

"Gyarados! Dragon Pulse on Noivern!" Misty yelled.

"Zubat use Bite on Chesnaught." Brock yelled.

The two Pokemon charged with their specific attacks. Zubat flew towards Chesnaught with great speed, and bit him, his fangs glowing white.

Gyarados charged towards Noivern and used his attack, but Noivern dodged it.

"Okay then. Noivern charge and use Dragon Claw. Keep it light, but not a love tap. After executing the attack, fly up and use Dragon Dance." Ash calmly instructed.

Dima said, "Chesnaught, use Bulk Up." Chesnaught followed the orders and used bulk up.

"Huh, dumbass. Zubat! Use Sludge Bomb!" Zubat let out large chunks of poison on Chesnaught, who took the attack, but wasn't poisoned.

"Damn it!" Dima thought. "I want him to be poisoned se he can get tired and use overgrowth. Well, looks like I'm gonna have to think of something else.

Gyarados, on the other side, had taken enough damage from Noivern. Noivern had also increased his attack and speed stats through dragon dance.

"Gyarados! Use Hydro Pump!"

Gyarados did so and shot huge streams of water on Noivern. Noivern gracefully dodged it and smirked.

The two brothers suddenly looked up, and then at each other. Every person in the audience saw it. They could feel that a light bulb went through the brothers' head. The traitors gave nervous glances.

They both looked at their Pokemon and said,

"Noivern! Keep using Dragon Dance and dodging!"

"Chesnaught! Keep using Bulk Up and dodging!"

XXXX

"What are they doing?! They're just raising there attacks and speed! They're not attacking! What is this?" Cynthia panicked.

"Yeah! Why?! This doesn't seem right!" Diantha chimed in.

Lance shook his head and chuckled.

Everyone looked at him.

"I know what they're doing. Although I feel it is pointless, because they can take out the opponents Pokemon very easily, but they want to display true power. They want sweet revenge." He said.

"Okay, we get it, but raising their attacks constantly won't do any good if they don't attack." Alder said.

"That's because they are raising their attacks to the maximum in order to carry out more than at least ten moves without any fatigue and full power." Lance replied.

"What moves?" Steven asked.

"You'll just have to see." Lance calmly replied and smirked.

The champions returned their gaze towards the battlefield.

"Let's just hope they know what they're doing." Wallace stated, quietly.

XXXX

Fifteen minutes had passed. Noivern and Chesnaught kept dodging attacks and using Dragon Dance and Bulk Up.

Then the most unexpected thing happened. Chesnaught turned around and shook his head towards Dima. A few seconds later, Noivern did the same towards Ash.

The two trainers grinned, and their opponents retaliated in fear.

"This is it." Ash said, darkly.

"Yes." Dima said, equally, if not more, darkly.

"Chesnaught! Show them your speed and use Hammer Arm!" Dima yelled.

"Noivern! Light speed charge and Dragon Pulse!"

The Pokemon grinned and carried out the attacks.

Chesnaught, despite his size, charged at Zubat at an amazing speed and brought his arm down, crashing on Zubat's head. Zubat crashed face first into the ground, creating a crater.

Noivern flew towards Gyarados at almost literally the speed of light and shot a purple beam of energy at him. Gyarados instantly fell down and had swirls for his eyes.

"Gyarados and Zubat are unable to battle! The winners of this round is Chesnaught and Noivern!" The referee yelled.

The traitors were dumbstruck. One attack. Instant KO.

"What's wrong Misty? I remember you calling me weak. Perhaps you'd like to borrow some Rare Candies?" Ash said.

"Yeah! After all, we illegally shipped some from this region, didn't we?" Dima mocked.

Every single person in the audience hung there head down in shame. They knew what was happening. No one had trusted the brothers except a few people back when the incident took place.

The traitors growled.

"Golduck! Destroy them!" Misty yelled, calling out Golduck.

"Sudowoodo! Do it!" Brock yelled, and called out said Pokemon.

The brothers smiled again.

XXXX

"S-so that's… what t-they were planning?" Cynthia stuttered.

"O-one shot KO." Diantha added.

"Yep.." Lance said.

Everyone turned to look at him. They scrutinized him, and Wallace finally said, "Why do I feel that there's a 'but' here?"

Lance laughed and said, "You got that right. This is what they were doing, yes. BUT, that's not their main aim. They are waiting for the traitors to release their strongest Pokemon. That is when they will play their main cards."

The champions looked confused. What could possibly more powerful?

XXXX

"Chesnaught! Mach Punch!" Dima yelled.

"Noivern! Outrage!" Ash yelled.

Chesnaught ran towards Sudowoodo, who tried to dodge, but failed. Chesnaught punched Sudowoodo right on the head, his fist glowing white and green. Sudowoodo was instantly on the ground, fainted.

Noivern shrieked loudly, and his body glowed red. He shrieked harder and charged at Golduck, his body emmiting huge amount of heat and energy. He released it all on Golduck, who yelled in pain and fainted too.

"Golduck and Sudowoodo are unable to battle! The winners of this round are Noivern and Chesnaught!" the referee yelled again.

The traitors had lost all their temper. Before Ash or Dima could taunt them, they recalled their previous Pokemon and drew two Pokeballs out.

"Get ready to fall Ketchum, my strongest Pokemon is next." Misty snarled.

"Yeah. You're dead now." Brock said as they released two Pokeballs.

From one, a Starmie emerged, and from the other emerged a Steelix.

The brothers sighed in relief.

"Finally! Thank You for calling them out!" Ash said.

The audience looked at him in confusion, and so did the traitors.

"What?" Brock asked.

"They're your strongest Pokemon, right?" Dima asked.

The traitors nodded.

"Well then, it is time to show you our REAL power."

XXXX

"What are they going to do?" Cynthia asked.

"Yeah? What can be stronger than what they're doing now? I don't see any Mega Stones." Diantha said.

"Yeah wh-" Wallace never finished, because Lance immediately got up from his seat and ran over to the seats in the front of the VIP lounge.

"This is it!" Lance said, excited.

"Just watch. THE moves are coming up." Lance said.

They all looked at the battlefield.

XXXX

The grins form Dima and Ash's faces had disappeared. The both closed their eyes and concentrated. Concentrated hard.

Before their opponents could attack, they both extended their hands and two bracelets were visible on their hands. They had a crystal each on them.

"With the very powers from the Legendary Dragons who have lived before… and the bond that we share… We let our hearts be one… and share the power… the pain… the love… the trust." Ash said out aloud.

"Drawing power and speed from the trees and flowers… the very earth itself… to put our bond… our love… and our power together… we let our hearts be one." Dima said out allowed.

Everyone was giving them confused looks, and the traitors were laughing.

"Have you lost your mind?" Brock joked, laughing.

Suddenly, Ash's body was covered with Dark Purple colored flames as he stood in a battle stance.

Dima's body, on the other hand, was covered by a bright green hurricane of energy and, wood splinters, and needle-like petals, and he took a difference battle stance.

They both shouted at the top of their lungs in unison, "TAKE MY AURA! MAKE IT YOURS! AND WITH EVERYTHING YOU'VE GOT, SHOW THEM TRUE POWER…"

"NOIVERN! USE DEVESTATING DRAKE!"

"CHESNAUGHT! USE BLOOM DOOM!"

The traitors had stopped laughing, and watched in horror as Noivern's body glowed as same as Ash and he released a gigantic amount of energy towards Starmie.

Chesnaught's body was covered with the same force of energy like Dima, as it released a ferocious attack, laced with needle-like petals, wood, and a highly powered green colored beam. It headed straight towards Steelix.

The two attacks collided with the Pokemon, and a huge blast took place, making everyone shield their eyes.

When the light disappeared, everyone looked at the field. There was a huge crater on the field, and in it, laid Starmie and Steelix. They were both knocked out.

The traitors looked at the two brothers. They were smirking, and surprisingly, panting.

XXXX

"What on earth was that?" Diantha asked, still trying to figure out whether they were living in the reality or not.

Cynthia dumbly nodded and repeated, "Yeah, what was that?"

Lance smiled and said, "That was a Z-Move. You see the crystals on their wrists? Those are the Z rings. A Z-move is an extremely powerful move that a Pokemon performs with the help of its trainers. After years of practice and sharing a good bond, this move gets better. The power that the two brothers just displayed was evidently a lot, meaning their bond with their Pokemon is amazing." He completed.

All the champions were shocked.

"Dima… Dima really loves his Pokemon. Sharing a bond strong enough to do this? It sure says something." Diantha thought.

"Wow Ash.. What training have you been doing all these years? Just wow…"

But shortly afterwards, the same thought came to both their minds.

"They're both deeply hurt from the betrayal. They went through so much to prove themselves." They thought.

"And you want to know what's worse?" Lance suddenly said.

"Umm… What?" Wallace asked.

Every champion turned towards him, and said, "Well, these attacks weren't their strongest Z-moves. It is pretty obvious, that their strongest Z-Move will be the one with the Pokemon who they share the best bond with and the most powerful. In essence, Morpeko and Pikachu are still left. I am pretty sure they're going to use those moves, and THOSE will be the most powerful." Lance completed.

Their faces turned visibly pale as they thought how powerful those attacks would be.

"Hey! Something's wrong." Steven said, as he pointed towards the battlefield. The champions followed the direction, and saw the brothers. Moreover, realized what was happening. They rushed out of the Champions box.

XXXX

Ash felt his vision get blurry for a second, and returned to normal. He glanced at Dima, who was having difficulties standing. Ash was facing those difficulties. The two immediately collapsed and there vision went black, as they passed out. The last thing they heard was, "Ash! Dima!"

XXXX

Brock and Misty were walking towards their friends in a daze. They couldn't even believe what was happening. The brothers had used OP moves, and they asked the referee to disqualify them for using disallowed moves, but the referee simply shook his head. He then called Mr. Goodshow on the battlefield, who took the time to explain everyone the concept of Z-moves.

The two traitors couldn't take it. They felt useless.

Their friends came rushing towards them.

"It's okay, Misty. We'll get those bastards. They just won because they used a Z-move." Iris said.

Everyone said similar things to console them.

Max, on the other hand, didn't say anything. He was busy thinking about the Z-move and wring. He knew that the brothers didn't roam around wearing the z-ring everywhere, so they took it off sometime. The thought kept going around in his mind.

"Dima had a grass type Z-ring. I could use it for my Sceptile." He grinned at the thought.

"Why are you grinning Max?" Misty asked.

"Oh nothing. I was thinking about the plan transition." Max said.

"Transition?" Brock asked.

"Yeah, we changed the plan. Our target is far more vulnerable and better now." Cilan said, smiling evily.
