The Secrets She Keeps
Chapter 2
Elena threw the bag containing her stuff on the queen sized bed as she looked around the hotel room that she would now call her home until she found out more about the sister that she never knew she had. Sighing she grabbed her laptop and clicked in Katherine Gilbert in a search engine. She knew she probably wouldn't get much results, but it was a start.
She scrolled through the various results until an article drew her attention as she clicked on it, her heart racing as she looked into the eyes of a girl who could literally be her. They looked exactly alike and somewhere in the back of Elena's mind she knew that this was the girl who her mother had given up.
She read the article gaining as much information as possible including where she lived now. Elena sighed shutting her computer and climbing into her bed ready to get some rest because tomorrow she would head out to Mystic Falls, Virginia where no matter what she would come face to face with her sister no matter what the consequences were.
