Sup guys? Lighting Wolf here, back with another story. This one about TMNT. Enjoy the 800-word chapter. I don't own TMNT, Nick and a few others do.
Triceratons were an empire known for only destruction and conquer… that said, not all soldiers obeyed the rule of their fascist overlord.
A group of such soldiers, but glad in green fatigues instead of the black and yellows favored by their soldiers… it had been an uprising.
Zen was the leader of this group, looking no really different besides the scars on his arms and teal dark blue eyes.
He knew Zanramon, the emperor of their glorious 'empire', hated anyone who didn't bow to their rule.
Zeno, however? The gladiator who had opposed their emperor? Inspired Triceratons who wished for the warrior ways of old, fighting a good fight but never the mindless destruction and death favored by their warlord of an emperor.
More Raptor Fighters descended while the squad continued to fire off their guns… they were few in number, but seeking out a worthy ally for their cause.
They retreated into the sewers of the planet before Zen spoke to his men.
"Seal off the exit, we cannot oppose that destroyer and win, our number of Raptor Fighters is still too few to try and take down that ship." He ordered before resting his blaster on his arm.
The former Commander had no doubt that Commander Zorin, the officer sent to put down the rebellion, would find them.
But Zen planned to be off world with his men when more reinforcements arrived. He had no doubt the one destroyer they managed to capture would be tracked all over the galaxy.
"We're fleeing again? They will not stop pursuit, Commander!" Zen turned to the soldier and sighed.
"Until we have a permanent base and the numbers? Our resistance amounts to nothing. We must free Zeno from his cage, then we will be free to fight… this is not a dishonor, it is a tactical withdraw until we recruit more followers to our cause." Zen stated with an air of exhaustion to his voice.
He was tired and his men fighting a very terrible war… which they were losing, they wanted to leave and overthrow the emperor, but they didn't have the ability to pose a major threat to the emperor and his army.
"I'll prepare the ship for departure, Commander, but I don't think we can hold them off until then." He heard from one of his men before they retreated back into the tunnels.
He could hear more soldiers coming, they could have easily destroyed the entire planet if it got them.
But the rouge soldiers knew, Zanramon wanted to make a showing of their executions, to murder them and have their bodies paraded through the city as a trophy.
Zen refused to become a symbol of what the empire did to traitors. He would either die on his feet like a real warrior, or he would conquer and take down everyone that stood between him and giving a better future to their people.
Zen took 3 other soldiers with him while the others went to get their stolen destroyer prepared. Zen was glad the emperor didn't take the rebellion serious enough to have the planet blockaded. They would be fine as long as the ship could escape.
The tunnels exploded and more Triceraton soldiers entered, firing at the group while Zen threw down a mine.
He could hear the pained cries of his enemy brethren before vanishing into the dark muck of the sewers.
He was glad there was a cleaning station aboard their destroyer… like all vessels, he was too busy to care at the moment as shots flew through the air towards them.
He was very glad no beings inhabited the planet, they had fled centuries ago to space… maybe another crime of his kin, he didn't know, but he wouldn't end up another casualty of his people's bloodlust.
Zen turned and fired off another volley and heard another cry before a blast echoed through the darkness and singed his arm.
He bit back the urge to yell, knowing it would give them away, and retreated further into the sewers.
He saw one of his men smash upon a path to the ship and they rushed through it. they would die overthrowing the emperor, or they'd carve a path free of him.
He had no idea what was coming up, he couldn't know about it at all at the moment.

Phew, first chapter done! I want to point out that this series takes place in the 2012 series. Next chapter will end up being in a few weeks and showing Zen's group escaping into space and the main villain/love interest for Zen appearing, Until then, Lighting Wolf out!
