Hey guys and welcome to chapter 8. I can't believe we're about to hit double digits chapters. When i first started this I actually had no clue how this would end, I had no end goal. I thought I would get bored of it and abandon it. Well i'm going to try and see this story to the end, which is well of a ways off but i do have an end goal and it kinda broke me thinking about it. Also I Probably should've been saying I don't own anything that appears here besides my OC XD. And speaking of MLP ( because that's part of this) CG5 uploaded a collaboration with Dagames and RichaaEB and I mention this because they remixed one of my favorite songs from the MLP Fandom, a lot of us might remember The Living Tombstone's remix of Eurobeat's song Discord, I highly recommended you check it out, it actually turned my mood around at work because I love this song much. Anyway getting this train wreck back on the tracks let's get right to the fanfic. Also I'm going to try for accuracy, probably won't happen XD.

It was that following school day after the encounter with the white fang, Blake was still as tense freaking what Yang was going to do, which turns out Yang had her own record. So for the most part things were normal or as normal as you can get at Beacon. The gang was chillin in their dorm after being done with classes for the day when they got a know on their door. Ruby walked over and opened the door revealing their visitors to be Coco Adel and Velvet Scarlatina two of the four members of Team CFVY a second year.

" Oh Hi," Ruby chirped she added, " would you guys like to come in."

" No but thanks for the offer though Red," Coco replied, " we only came to give your team a message that Ozpin wanted to see you."

" Ok thanks for letting us know."

" Oh before i forget Michael could you come here," Velvet piped up. Michael made his way over and he realized how much he towered over her. " Michael it's kinda hard to talk to you when your tall as hell, could you come to my level please," as he approached eye level with her eyes narrowed and proceeded to give a sharp to the backside of his head he stood back up rubbing it and she added " and that is for getting yourself put in a dangerous situation the other day you bloody idiot."

" What Velvet is trying to say good job with situation yesterday but next time find the authorities before you do something stupid," Coco said earning embarrassed looks from the group of first years, " anyway we'll see you guys later."

" Later Coco, Later Velvet."

They sat in silence for a moment till Ruby got up saying that they should probably not keep the Headmaster waiting. The left their dorm room and made their way to Ozpin's office. Ruby knocked on the door and heard someone say 'Come in'. They entered and Ruby spoke " you asked to see us sir."

"Ah yes, let me be the first to say well done on repelling a raid the other day while the White Fang did make off with some that was of course before you came on the scene you performed admirably, but please if this were to happen again please do not got yourselves involved I would hate to see one of Beacon's successful teams be put out of their huntsman career."

Michael felt like it was his fault, he was taught to not get into other people's affairs by his aunt but that conflicted with his heroic and curious personality. " We're sorry Professor was there anything else you needed."

" Yes there is, One every Team will be shadowing a Huntsman or Huntress on their mission, Two you'll be welcoming a visiting team of Haven Academy and before you ask what for that is part of Three we will be hosting the Vytal tournament in some time of course it is a tradition that we have the Vytal Tournament Ball before the Tournament begins, which will be held before your shadowing assignment but after that you won't have much in the terms of other assignment so use that time to either train or relax, and that will be all I hope you all the best of luck during the tournament, you may go."

" Thank you Professor." Team RWBYM made their way to exit now wondering what this team they were welcoming was like. They made their way to the airship docks just as one was landing. The doors opened and released the passengers, as the crowd thinned out they recognized a familiar face which belonged to Sun Wukong.

" Sun is that you." Blake asked. He turned around and smiled remembering them from the other day.

" Oh hey guys, So you are our welcoming committee."

" Apparently so, so where's the rest of your team?"

" Getting the luggage," and as he said that a group of guys stepped off the ship with what seemed to be their luggage. As they dropped the luggage where Sun was the blue haired one complained about Sun abandoning him and making him carry both of their luggage.

" Guys this is Team RWBYM, RWBYM meet the rest of Team SSSN; my partner Neptune Vasilias, Sage Ayana and his partner Scarlet David."

" it's nice to meet all of you," Ruby said and then proceed to introduce her team, " I'm Ruby Rose and these are my partners, Weiss Schnee and Michael Saintonly, and this my sister Yang Xiao Long and her partner Blake Belladonna," and that was all she got out because Neptune " tried" to hit on Weiss. I emphasize tried because as soon as he started in Sun and the rest of her team heard the familiar unfurling of Michael's Unrelenting Force sending Neptune flying through the air. As he got up he approached Michael who instinctively moved Weiss behind him. Neptune and the other two were still in shock about what happened.

" Hey buddy what's your problem with me," Neptune said pissed that this guy had the nerve to do whatever he did to him.

" Not you personally Neptune, my problem is that you were hitting on my girlfriend in front of me, her boyfriend," Michael snapped back.

" Oh shit dude, my mistake, I'm sorry," Neptune replied hands up in the backing down signal

" As long as we're on the same page we'll be fine. Anyway, welcome to Beacon Academy."

" Thanks guys, so where are we staying here," Sun questioned.

" I think there are some guest dorms, right." Ruby replied wondering herself.

"Of course we do, somewhere." Michael said question his own sanity because he has never seen them before.

" Thanks, I guess, we'll find them sooner or later, anyway we'll see you later,"

" Later."

With that the teams went off and did their own thing. It was much later on the day when they heard more airships landing. Team RWBYM was confused as the airships to beacon couldn't have back this soon. They look in shock as what appear to be military airships were landing and even more so to be revealed to be from Atlas. They decided to investigate what in the world was going on. They opened the windows, then Weiss and Michael summoned glyphs and lowered the whole team down. This of course brought attention to the man leading the group of soldiers.

" Oh my god that's General James Ironwood," the team said.

" I thought I knew that semblance, greetings Miss. Schnee," Ironwood greet the heiress, " and you must be her team it is my pleasure to meet you all."

Being the fact that the military group was from Atlas it made Blake and Michael more on edge but they kept their cool. Michael walked around ironwood, of course that made everyone wary.

" Son I'm gonna have to ask you to back up please."

"Sorry sir , I was just admiring the uniform." Michael said going back to his team , " I'm Michael Saintonly, I'm Ruby and Weiss' partner."

"Ah so your the Michael that Weiss has mentioned in her letters to her sister Winter, and I assume that your more than just a teammate to Ms, Schnee?"

Not one to like keeping secrets from anybody, Michael looked at him with no hesitation and freplied, "Yes, and I honestly don't care if you like me or approve of our relationship."

Ironwood internally was taken aback, he never seen anyone stand so defiantly, he wonders why someone that show so much confidence didn't care if he approved of the student in question, Weiss was like a daughter to him, for he cared about her as much as her sister, then it hit and he responded with, " So your a faunus I take it, that's why you don't care if I like you or not because you think I already hate you am I right."

Michael was astonished that the general had taken a stab at what he was thinking, then he let out a burst of laughter, " Wow General, I'm surprised that you hit the nail on the head there although I think that you too agree that my assumption that you hate because I'm a Faunus is built on another assumption that Atlas thinks Faunus are either used as slaves or that they are part of the White Fang am I right," He add in and started laughing.

Now it was Ironwood's turn to start laughing although he stayed stoic for a little for his Ironwill was weakening, " Heh, you know what Saintonly your right, i one of the few who don't let prejudice get in the way and from what I can tell you are an honest man who cares about those he loves. Just promise me one thing," he added as he walked up to Michael with his face back in neutral position, " That you will always be there for Weiss and protect her."

Michael looked at Ironwood in the eyes as he replied, " You won't have to worry I'll always be there for her and my team."

And with that the general and the boyfriend shook hands and both sides went their separate ways. When they were out of sight Yang bowed wishing for Michael to teach her the ways of comedy for his success at making the general laugh even though it was a small one, they all had a laugh as Weiss leaned into Michael and as they held each other, he looked into the loving girlfriend's eyes and said

" So when do I get to meet your sister." and with that the team shared another laugh as Weiss gave her smartass of a boyfriend a playfull smack of the chest

Hey guys I'm back and with a finished chapter. Again I'm sorry its just sometimes work literally kills me sometimes. But you know when ever I feel up to it and I work on these stories I've started writing it makes each moment worth it. Like I said at the start while the end isn't for a while I do have I've set up for this AND I DON'T CARE IF RT FINISHES RWBY BEFORE I FINISHED THIS STORY I WILL WRITE MY ENDING DAMMIT XD. And when we get to that point I hope to have you guys on edge when you do read it. Now I've got to get that middle part done to get there XD. Also the next chapter might be our hero meeting Est and Restia for the first time.
