A/N: This one-shot is inspired by a fanart titled "Missing Scene" and it's sequel, "Best Friends" by a user named Hrodwulf123 over at DeviantArt, y'all go check them out! Here's my attempt on a story focused on the Middleton High cheerleader Jessica (a.k.a: the other blonde after Tara) as well as the other MHS cheerleaders (Kim included) Ron and Bonnie only play minor roles here.

The crowd cheers as Middleton High's homecoming king and queen have been coronated in a halftime show of a football game. Ron Stoppable, MHS's star running back, and Bonnie Rockwaller, the MHS cheer squad co-captain were coronated in this year's homecoming. While most of the fans thought the RB's girlfriend, Kimberly Possible, certainly won the voting, Bonnie bribed the vote counter Ronald Reiger to make her win the title. Ron looked in guilt as Kim stared at him sadly with her emerald green eyes glistening with tears before being escorted back to their locker room by her fellow cheerleaders.

I know Bon-Bon rigged this poll but how am I gonna prove that without Kim's assistance? The blonde football player thought.

"I CAN'T FUCKING BELIEVE BONNIE! FIRST SHE RIGS THE STUPID POLL AND NOW SHE'S MASQUERADING AROUND WITH MY BOYFRIEND!" Kim ranted, as she and her fellow cheerleaders went back to the locker room. Tara Davis, the platinum curly blonde and Marcella Garcia, the straight haired Latina, wrapped their arms around their redhead captain's waist to calm her down.

"It's quite obvious that Bonnie bribed Reiger in the polls. I saw her give the guy some gesture." Tara pointed out.

"Indeed, it also doesn't help that your boyfriend's paired up with Bonnie of all girls Kim." Marcella added.

Once the cheerleaders were called out to the sidelines as the game resumed, Kim stayed behind to vent out for the time being. She may be fearless when it comes to saving the world, but now all her pent up emotions has come to a breaking point and Kim needed to release that. She threw stuff around, from her uniform to chairs just to get herself calm for the second half performance. Some of her fellow cheerleaders peeked through the window of the locker room door but no one dared to enter, as Kim can easily hurt someone with her throwing stuff about. I don't think anyone can calm down an angry Kimmie. Tara pondered, as she and the others watched Kim. After her lashing out, Kim sat down on the floor and cried her heart out. Unknown to her, someone was observing her behavior and it's not from the outside.

"Kimmie?" a voice called out.

The redhead cheer captain turned around and saw freckled blonde Jessica Mariah Chandler standing by the doorway wearing her cheer uniform. She's one of four cheerleaders who qualified for the homecoming finals voting with rest being Kim, Bonnie, and maroon haired Crystal Nance.

"Oh it's just you Jess, what's up?" she sniffed, fighting back the tears that started to overcome her. Instead of replying to her question, Jess gave Kim a hug and the redhead just lost it, bawling her eyes out.

"Hey, hey, it's alright girl. Rather than gloat at Bonnie's victory, think about what Ron's gonna do as homecoming king. I'm sure he'll make you proud." Jess whispered, running her hand against Kim's cherry scented hair. It took another 10 minutes before Kim broke out of her friend's embrace, still teary-eyed.

"I just couldn't believe it Jess. Bonnie's really gone down low and trying to steal Ron from me!" she whimpered.

Kim always believed that anything is possible for a Possible but in this moment, she is emotionally defeated and she just wanted to take a breather from everything that life throws at her relationship with Ron; it's as if society doesn't like her dating that buffoon of a boyfriend she's got. But she knew Ron the best, beyond the bumbling sidekick narrative that he's earned.

"Kimmie, sometimes it's best if you take a break from this drama. You can't cheer 100% with you broken like that," Jessica continued, patting the redhead's back. "Let me lead the second half girl, since Bonnie will most likely parade around with Ron after the game."

"I'd drag Ron back to my house if Bonnie even tries something like that." Kim chuckled. Jessica, or Jess as her friends usually call her, has been known to be the comedian and her infectious smile helps in uplifting one's down spirit.

"Feel better now?" Jess asked, noticing the change of mood that Kim displayed.

"Yeah. Thanks for listening, Jess. I know we don't usually talk much but here you are in one of my more vulnerable episodes of mine." Kim sniffed, wiping her runny nose.

"No big girl! I'm always here to lend a shoulder to my friends." the tall blonde smiled.

. . . . .

After the game, in which the Middleton Mad Dogs won, Kim and Jess approached Ron for a little chat. The latter went on to do the second half cheer, leaving the couple by the sidelines. Luckily for Kim, Bonnie didn't snag Ron from her clutches tonight.

"Sorry if you didn't get voted queen KP." the running back player sighed. Kim wrapped her arms on her boyfriend's neck.

"It's not your fault, okay?" she reassured him, "You totally deserved to be king and I know you'll make me proud, King Ron the first!" Ron blushed at that crack before pulling the redhead cheer captain for a kiss.

The next day, while Bonnie was out with Ron in a daytime show interview, Jess was having a meeting with the other cheerleaders on their routine for the day with Kim still not showing up.

"I know Kim was an emotional wreck last night. You know, with this homecoming sitch. Definitely wasn't expecting her to be so broken over something as pointless as this shit." Hope Chan said bluntly. The other cheerleaders weren't so amused at the raven haired Asian's crack.

"Come on Hope, she's not a god or something. Yes she may be a hero but she's still just like one of us. If she needs to cry out her feelings, then let her be; just because she's saving the world every other night, doesn't mean she always has to be emotionless!" Crystal argued.

"Besides, it wasn't just a pointless something. IT'S THE DAMN HOMECOMING PARTY!" Liz McGee added.

"If you were in Kim's place Ms. 'This sitch is pointless', how would you feel if your boyfriend becomes king and Bonnie becomes his queen?" Tara fired her shots.

Before the cheerleaders went into an all-out catfight against Hope, Jess blew a whistle to keep them in order. "Knock it off y'all!" she shouted, "If Kimmie doesn't feel like practicing then so be it. She needs her personal space too."

Just then, Kim entered the gymnasium not feeling her usual energetic self. She's not wearing her cheer uniform, hinting that she wasn't in the mood to practice. The blonde substitute captain approached her to check on the redhead teen's feelings.

"How are you now Kimmie?" she smiled.

"Better now that I got to talk to Ron about this homecoming nonsense. He's guilty that he's being forced to hang out with Bonnie and was more concerned about my feelings about the matter." Kim admitted. The other cheerleaders responded with aww's while Jess stood there feeling proud for her friend's boyfriend.

"Girl, Ron really does deserve you. Had the king be another guy, he would've taken the chance at Bonnie, but him caring about your feelings?! Oh how I wish I can find a guy like him!" she squealed, happy that the fallout wasn't negative at all.

"Well, Steve's not so bad Jess. I still don't get why the two of you didn't click after prom?" Hope broke into the conversation, pertaining to the freckled blonde's prom date; a dark haired softball captain named Steve Foley. The other cheerleaders gave Hope another death glare, to which Jess simply facepalmed. Poor Hope's dumber than a blonde like me and Tara; no wonder she's Bonnie's lapdog. She wondered and shrugged the thought off, before speaking to Kim again.

"Anyway, you think you can do practice later?" Kim nodded in return.

"I think I can do some stuff. You know, to clear my head from the Bonnie sitch." the redhead rolled her eyes.

. . . . .

At the cafeteria, Jess and Hope overheard Kim and Bonnie going at each other's throats again over the stupid homecoming upset.

"For your scrapbook Ronnie!" the two cheerleaders heard a shouting Kim before she stormed out of the place. Ron stood there frozen; he didn't know if he should follow his girlfriend. Unfortunately Bonnie's trying to keep him at bay, having their pictures taken with the other students. Monique still remained in the table Kim was at so the two cheerleaders swooped in for the sitch.

"Alright Monique, spill the drama" Jess demanded. The raven curly haired teen was quite surprised at the freckled blonde's request. I never thought Jess of all people coming to me being concerned about Kim. she thought.

"Okay, if y'all insist. So Kim's getting all jelly with Bon-Bon about masquerading her king all around Middleton. It's quite sickening actually and Kim just snapped like crazy. Either that or she's also cranky that Ron's always got 'kingsy stuff' going on at night, leaving no time for Bueno Nacho dates." Monique told the two concerned cheerleaders.

Once practice had wrapped up, Jess wanted to do something in the lines of 'Kim Possible mode' without Kim knowing. She and Kim remained in the gym, packing up their gear before heading home.

"I appreciate you being there for me Jes,s" Kim smiled, "Normally Ron or Monique would be here but hey, here you are."

"Like I said before KP, it's no big." Jess blushed at this, "I'll see you tomorrow at the dance?"

"You bet! Who cares if I'm not queen if I have my hands all over MY king?" the redhead said flirtatiously. Jess watched Kim leave in her car with Monique in tow. Since most of the teachers, Mr. Barkin included, have left the campus as well, the freckled blonde was determined to find out who really won MHS homecoming queen.

I almost feel like Kimmie going through this mission. She thought. Her plan of going solo was almost foiled when Hope spotted her wandering the hallways.

"Jess? It's almost 8, why aren't you heading home yet?" the long haired Asian asked. Before Jess could reply, she dragged Hope into a storage room with her hand against the latter's mouth to keep her loud mouth shut.

"Listen up Hope. I'm on a mission to search the voting computer Reiger used, and find out if Bonnie really 'won' the voting." the blonde told her friend. Hope rolled her eyes, not surprised by her friend's mission.

"Let me guess, you're doing this for Kim huh?" she raised an eyebrow. Jess nodded.

"Alright I'll help you." the Asian teen sighed, "So any idea where that computer may be?"

The freckled cheerleader thought for a moment, "I overheard Bonnie tell some jocks that Reiger's computer is actually loaned from the computer room. So if we can get there and find that computer, we'll print the results." she told her plan.

"But Jess" Hope retorted, "The computer room is always locked once the final bell rings. How will we break in?" She redacted that claim when Jess pulled out a set of keys, one of which is for the computer room. "Or that."

The two cheerleaders made their way to the computer room, which was located in the 2nd floor. Avoiding janitors and security officers, they managed to sneak into the room unscathed. Using a low-beam flashlight on her phone, Hope scanned the area for an out of place PC or laptop. She then turned her attention to a PC that seems to be out of place. It's a PC with a working power supply, but with a paper saying OUT OF ORDER stuck on the monitor. Why would they put this out of order when there's power in it? She wondered; not buying the warning. She fired it on and concluded that this PC is the one used by Reiger for the vote counting.

"Hey Jess! Come here." she quietly said, making sure Jess could still hear her without blowing their cover.

They found two files under a folder named 'homecoming': one named 'poll results' and another one simply named 'For Bonnie'. Hope opened the latter file first, expecting Bonnie's name to appear first. Sure enough it was, and for some unknown reason, Reiger switched Kim's votes to be dead last among the finalists.

"NO FREAKING WAY!" the two cheerleaders gasped.

They turned to the original unaltered file; after digging some more, they saw Bonnie's original spot is right behind Kim's, good for third place. They were even more stunned when they found out the real winner of queen.

"You?! You're the real queen, Jess?!" Hope squealed in excitement. Jess read out the poll results once again, hoping that she misread the spot.

"Jessica Chandler, 52% of the votes." she read out, "Wow, I…I don't even know what to say." She had one of those blonde moments and just went speechless, still staring at her name in the file.

"Well I do," Hope smiled, before pulling Jess into her embrace. "CONGRATS GIRL!"

"Gee thanks." was all Jess could muster up. She was still frozen in time after Hope printed out the real results for them to show to Barkin as proof that Bonnie rigged the polls. I hope Kimmie takes this one better. This is as real as it can get. The blonde thought.

Kim and Ron headed to Venice for another mission the following day; Bonnie was with them on the mission. Jess and the remaining cheerleaders had just finished another routine. She then told them who the real queen is while in the locker room, or rather Hope broke the news to which everyone else was stunned.

"Is Hope telling the truth this time? You're the homecoming queen to Ron?" Tara asked curiously, drying her wet blonde curls.

"She's damn right! I honestly feel flattered by that. Good thing I kept my backup dress in my locker for tonight." Jess replied from the showers.

"Have you told Barkin about this?" Liz inquired.

"Of course! After Bonnie, Kim and Ron left school, we printed the real poll results, showed them to Barkin and he told me to wait for the announcement tonight" the freckled blonde got out of the shower, dripping wet and only wearing a towel.

"How will Kimmie react if she finds out you won and not her?" Marcella added.

"I think she'll take it as it is. Since Jess got the printed proof that she won fairly, Kim will buy that" Hope shrugged. Even though the others object to Hope's verbal antics, they all agree that Kim's gonna accept Jess as the queen.

At the homecoming dance, with Bonnie finally getting a date in Senor Senior Junior after returning from Venice, Kim and Ron had finally shared a proper intimate time at the dance floor. That is until Mr. Barkin interrupted the festivities.

"Alright listen up. We got a slight mix up on who should win queen. After another thorough recount of votes and evidence pointing at Ms. Rockwaller rigging the poll results, so effective tonight, she's stripped off her title. The real unbiased winner of the homecoming queen is…. Ms. Jessica Chandler!" he announced.

Jess pretended to be shocked once the announcement was made and Kim was the first to congratulate her. The rest of the crowd also cheered for the freckled blonde clad in an elegant lime off-shoulder dress that showed off her curves perfectly. Ron was surprised to hear this change of development but was happy for Jess nonetheless.

"Congrats Jess!" the redhead teen hugged her tight.

"Why me? Shouldn't that honor be yours?" the tall blonde cheerleader played dumb at Kim.

"At least you won fair and square. That's more important to me." Kim reaffirmed, still unaware that Jess knew about this. Ron took the honor of getting Bonnie's crown off her head, much to the brunette's dismay.

"Hey! That's my rightful crown!" she ranted but the blonde man ignored her. Junior tried to pick him up by the shirt collar but was stopped when Ron gave the young billionaire an iron grip on his hand, causing him to squeal like a baby. He then shuffled towards Jess and placed the tiara on top of the blonde girl's head.

"I believe this is rightfully yours, my queen." he smiled at the freckled blonde, who just chuckled.

"Oh Ronnie, we all know Kim's your only queen," she smirked, "But I'd be honored to."

When the DJ announced that the homecoming king and queen share a dance, Ron glanced at his girlfriend who replied with a nod. What are you waiting for? Queen Jess is expecting you to take her out there. Kim replied mentally.

"Shall we?" Ron turned back to the real queen of homecoming. With Jess's nod, the blonde man took her to the dance floor, waltzing to the tune of 'Wonderful Tonight'.

Kim watched the beautiful sight happening right before her eyes. From Bonnie wailing like Drakken when his schemes are foiled to Ron giving Jess the night of her life, she sighed happily about solving the Bonnie boyfriend problem and getting closure to the real homecoming queen problem.

Yup, this sitch has a real weird happy ending. She pondered.
