It was 12pm. D'Jok and Mark were outside waiting for Lioness. They say the Brazilian coming down with the rest of the guys holding water bottles.

'Hey guys. I guess you are wondering why you all why I called you all here.'

'Kind of. What's up?' Yuki asked

'The keshin is going to be a problem. So far I know one player that is a keshin user… Shernaunt' Lioness said seriously

'Wait… you mean the new striker that they signed a couple of days ago?' Micro Ice asked

'Yep. I can tell you first hand that she is going to be a major problem for us. I'm not saying that to scare any of you.' Lioness said but was cut off by Shark

'No offense dude but too late' Lioness then continued her speech

'This is the reality. You guys will not be able to take on a keshin user if you played how you played in the first half against the Wambas. You can play how you did against the Wambas in the second half and win. You have to believe in yourself and fight. Fight for that win.' Lioness said and everyone in the room was silent but nodded. They understood what they were up against and clapped for Lioness speech and gave small cheer.

'Nicely put Lioness. I was going to do a practice match training now… if you are all up to it?' Aarch said as he appeared from his office and was met with a nod from the teens. 'Let's go!'

The teens trained hard and looked relentless. Aarch nodded and called the training over after three hours.

'Guys you looked great. As you know it is just a week till we challenge for the cup. Axel, Hawk, Lioness, King and Shark have made great additions to the club. Everyone has trained hard and I think we can retain our cup.' Aarch said and everyone cheered

'Lioness, stay back.' Everyone left Lioness and Aarch.

'Yes uncle.' Lioness asked

'The match against the Rykers is going to be a defining match for us in the group stage.' Aarch said and continued

'We face the Rykers on the third and last day match day of our group… So I will need you to be ready for that match… I have decided to leave you out of the squad until those dates.'

'No, uncle that's not fair!' Lioness raised her voice. Aarch then continued

'Listen you need to be fully fit-'

'I am fit. I've been training just as hard as anyone else. Plus I can fit on the bench. We have enough players on the bench. No I refuse to be left out of this competition.' Lioness raised her voice

'So, you are ready to use your fluxes in the match?' Aarch asked her.

'I'm ready to even use my keshin uncle.' Lioness gave him a serious look

'Fine. You will be on the bench. I will do a private session to see how your keshin and flux are… got it?' Aarch told her.

'Got it.' Lioness told him and went away.

New chapter

It was match day.

The girls and boys split into different changing rooms and meet to see the team sheet.

'Okay. Here is the team sheet for today's match.

Goalkeeper: Ahito

Defence: Shark, King, Mei and Thran

Midfield: Rocket, Hawk, Yuki

Forwards: Micro, Axel and D'Jok

Lioness, Mark and Tia will be on the bench today. The Sandmen of Menor are a fairly new team. As we know Shemal is going to be the hardest person to mark. King you will mark her for set pieces. Thran, Shark and Mei two of you have to double up for when she's on the run.

Rocket, Hawk and Yuki drop to help the defence, even though we have enough bodies to mark Shemal, mark there new number 17. I haven't seen him play but from sources, he's very influential.

Micro, Axel and D'Jok just tear that defence and get some goals.

Let's go team.'

With that the team chanted 'Go Snow go'

D'Jok walked towards Tia, Mark and Lioness.

'We will try our best.' D'Jok nodded to the bench and went to the pitch with the others'

Aarch wished the starting eleven good luck and went to talk to bench.

'Kepp warm, you don't know when you could be needed' Aarch spoke and looked directly at Lioness.

Commentary

E: Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the first match day of the Galatik Football Cup. This is Eva Rodrigues and Alan Martin. We shall be commentary team for this match which and the defending champions the Snow Kids vs the Sands of Menor. The teams have come out for this match and will begin in five minutes.

A: That's right Eva and today's match will be extremely difficult for the champions with a new vamped Sands of Menor, the bookies have betted that the champions will lose to the Sands. The Sands new money grabbing signings of Shemal, and Buma have given the team a bounce in their step and have proved to be favourites for the bookies

E: Wow that's a first. Looks like they are going to start.

Out of Commentary

Aarch: Okay guys, stay calm and play your football, our football.

Commentary

E: There's the first whistle and the match has started with the champions in possession with the new number eleven Axel Manning. He's just glided past two players and sends the ball to Micro Ice on the wing. Micro beats his man and does an early cross into the box. Yuki is in the box and headers it wide.

D'Jok: unlucky guys. Nice build up! Let's keep it up. Good opening spell for the champions and the get the ball back with King, leading from the back and passing it to the feet of the captain, Rocket. He does a beautiful through ball to Axel who lash at the ball and goes over the cross bar.

Micro: Unlucky dude. Next time!

A: Looks like the bookies might be wrong about this bet Eva. Or have I spoken to soon, Shemal has now gotten the ball in her path and runs at Mei who is holding her off.

Mei: Shark!

Shark: On it.

A: She beats Mei but not Shark and he clears it out for a throw in. Shelma gets the ball and passes it to Buma, Shemal passes Rocket and Yuki with ease and takes an early shot! Just hits the cross bar Looks like the Sands are coming into the game and are pushing the Snow Kids back.

Rocket: Uncle, I can't keep up with Buma

Yuki: We need to try! Lets go! D'Jok take it!

There is Buma again easily getting the ball of D'Jok and running. He brushes pass Hawk, Axel, Rocket and off loads the ball to Shemal who uses her flux to shoot. Ahito does a fantastic save with his flux and the ball goes behind for a corner.

Out of Commentary

Clamp: Aarch, I think we under estimated the Sands

Daime S: Aarch there flux is much stronger than we anticipated and the kids are getting tired.

Aarch: C'mon guys. Hold them off and take care with the ball.

Mark: Looks like defending our tittle just became a whole lot harder.

Tia: Looks like it. Shemal is really strong and Buma is really powerful

Lioness said quiet and continued to watch the game.

Commentary

A: Beautiful skill from Buma who has skilled passed D'Jok, Micro Ice and Axel Manning. He passes the ball Shemal who has gotten pass King and is stroming to the by line. The ball is fed back to Buma who has brought out his KESHIN! A FIRST FOR THE GF CUP! THE KESHIN!

D'Jok: What the hell is that!

Axel: What the

Shark: Dude. That thing has ice on it.

D'Jok: AHITO!

Buma: Blow them over Galaticos.

E: GOAL! SANDS HAVE JUST SCORED A GOAL AGAINST THE SNOW KIDS AND ITS AN AMAZING GOAL FROM THEIR NEW NUMBER 17, BUMA. ALAN I CANT BELIEVE WHAT WE HAVE JUST SEEN.

A: OH MY WORD. THE KESHIN USAGE FOR TE FIRST TIME HAS PRODUCED A HIT WITH THE CROWD! LOOK AT THAT REPLAY. AHITO WAS BLOWN BACK BY THE SHOT! IT'S 34th MINUTE AND THE SANDS ARE LEADING THE CHAMPIONS.

The team ran to Ahito who was still on the floor.

Shark: Dude are you okay?

Ahito: What sort of shot was that?

King: A keshin. We all need to monitor Buma.

With that the whole team nodded and went back to their positions

Aarch: Buma has a keshin?

Clamp: and a powerful one at that too.

Daime: Aarch. That shot has weakened Ahito because he didn't expect it.

Aarch: Rocket and Yuki drop back hep out the defence.

Tia, Mark and Lioness stared at Aarch. The first time they have seen their coach sweat.

Commentary

A: Looks like the Sands are turning up the pace Eva

E: Yes they are and the heavy marking on Buma hasn't been effective as he just passed Axel and D'Jok again and is on a run. He passes it to Rike who has passed it back to Buma. Buma has just run down the by line and has chipped he ball above Thran and it's in the path of Shemal who uses her flux and beats Ahito! 2-0 SANDS! Looks like it's not really a snow day Snow Kids!

Aarch: How is it looking?

Clamp: The Buma has 75% of the possession

Daime: The kids are getting really tired since the Sands have gotten possession.

Aarch: Kids, hold on till its half time. We can't concede another goal

A: Pura has taken the ball off Yuki and is running at the Snow Kids with full power. Tuki tries to get nack but its easily brushed aside by right back who sends the ball to Shemal. Shemal pass the ball to Buma. BUMA IS REALSING HIS KESHIN AGAIN.

D'Jok: Ahito he suing his keshin!

Ahito uses his fluxes: I'm ready

Rocket: Everyone try and get back.

Buma: Too late. Galacios blow them over.

E: Buma shoots. AHITO USES HIS FLUX! THE BALL HAS BLOWN THE KEEPER BACK! GOAL! 3-0 SANDS JUST BEFORE THE WHISTLE BLOWS FOR THE HALF TIME.

COMMENTARY OVER.

The team went into their dressing room and looked at Aarch. Aarch looked at all of their faces and finally spoke.

'I'm sorry. I didn't prepare you guys for the keshin.'

'Coach. How do we stop them with Buma using that thing? ' D'Jok asked and wait for a response from Aarch.

'That's the thing with a keshin. It's hard to stop it.' Aarch said and looked at the score.

'Aarch.' Lioness spoke. Aarch turned around stared at the Brazilian and nodded.

'Sub Yuki, Rocket and Hawk off. Tia, Mark and I can handle it. They are two tired and Yuki landed awakardly on her ankle.' Lioness said and they all turned to look at Yuki and saw her ankle starting to swell.

'Rocket and Hawk. How are you feeling?' Aarch turned to the boys.

'Uncle, shes right. I can't even keep up with Buma. He has me all over' Rocket responded who was still breathing heavily.

'Yeah coach. I can't get a hold of Shemal.' Hawk responded whilst taking sips of water.

'Looks like D'Jok will be our captain for the second half. Lioness, Mark and Tia are on. Rocket, Yuki and Hawk will be off.' Aarch said and looked at Lioness with a small smile.

'Lets get ready' Lioness said and waited for the second half to start.

D'Jok went up to Lioness and whispered in her ear.

'You okay?'

'Yep. Let's just win this game. Yuki isn't getting hurt for nothing' Lioness replied and waited for the officials to signal for the second half.
