'Looks like I need to tell you something.' Aarch said.
'Uncle please tell me.' Lioness said as she was growing more concern.
'The Nubus team. ' Aarch said slowly.
'Nubus? What's is the scare factor? If we need to play them we play them.' Lioness said
'That's the thing kiddo. They're manager is Inchionse Kageymma.' Aarch said and looked at Lioness who froze. Lioness slowly got up and walked towards the door.
'Lioness.' Aarch said and held her back.
'No. No. I can't play anymore.' Lioness said as she turned around and started to shout out Aarch.
'Lioness calm down.' Aarch said and held her arm.
'NO! You don't know the full extent of what he did! You left! I can't play anymore. Let me go home!' Lioness shouted.
'No! This team needs you and you need this team.' Aarch said
'I need to go back home!' Lioness said and started to cry.
'Catalina.' Aarch said and attempted to hug her.
'Leave me alone! Let me go home!' Lioness said and pushed him away. She finally got the door open and saw everyone watching her.
'Lioness. What's wrong?' Mark asked her. She didn't say anything and ran into her room and shut the door.
'Coach what happened?' Tia asked Aarch but he was absent minded.
'Coach.' Mei asked but she never got a response
'Uncle!' Rocket asked louder and Aarch realised that the team was standing in front of him.
'I can't say but I think we have just lost our new number 10.' Aarch said and everyone looked at Lioness room.
'Coach. What happened?' Mark shouted at Aarch who looked at him 'Mark. I'm sorry. She's not going to be able to. He's back' Mark realised what Aarch was talking about.
'No.' Mark said and walked away slowly.
'Lioness!' Mark shouted 'Please. Everyone just go back to what you were doing. She needs to be by herself.' Aarch said.
'Do you know how much pain and suffering he caused us? Lioness!' Mark shouted.
'Mark come here now!' Aarch shouted and dragged him back into his office.
'What? Just happened?' King said and everyone talked amongst themselves.
'Let's listen to Aarch. This seems serious and its best if we leave it that way.' Rocket said and everyone left and was about to leave.
'I feel tired. See you guys tomorrow' D'Jok said and everyone left the corridor. D'Jok lightly tapped on the door.
'Lioness. It's me. D'Jok. I was wondering if you want to talk. I know you are upset but I'm here if you need to talk. You were there when I was there when I need someone to talk to. More like vent to. Lioness. Please. I hate seeing anyone upset.' D'Jok said through the door. D'Jok waited and heard the door open and saw Lioness' crying.
'I can't stay.' Lioness said and dropped her bag on the floor and slide to the floor. D'Jok quickly closed the door behind him and held her as she was crying. Lioness' crying slowed down and D'Jok still held her.
'Please stop crying. You are going to get a massive headache and I hate seeing people crying unless its tears of laughter.' D'Jok said as he rubbed her arm as he cradled her into his chest.
'Are you trying to make me laugh?' Lioness sobbed and gave a weak smile.
'If that's going to make you better. I will.' D'Jok said and Lioness stopped crying.
'I don't know what's going on, but it will be alright. Everything will work out.' D'Jok said. Lioness lifted her head and looked at his face.
'It's not. Not with him around.' Lioness said and tears started to form in her eyes.
'Why not? Who is he?' D'Jok asked and wiped Lioness' tears.
'None knows apart from Aarch, Mark, everyone else involved and my parents. Please don't tell anyone.' Lioness said and looked at his face.
'I promise.' D'Jok said.
'When I was younger. Kageymma. He used to run the soccer division for the whole of Brasil. Mark and I were chosen to represent Brasil. He always liked winning and picking the talented players out but that was not all he was doing. He went to each town, each city and destroy everything if we didn't win. If we didn't get a technique right. He would punish us. He made the soccer I love become the sport I hate. He did things to the team. He would abuse team and our families or blackmail them. So many people lost jobs, their homes… Their family' Lioness said and held her head to D'Jok's chest
'Nolito would have been 22… If I didn't collapse… If I had brought my keshin out earlier. Rachel would have been 20 if I had used my flux to score instead of doing a normal shot in the second round.' Lioness said and was still being held by D'Jok.
'Raymundo would be able to walk if I… If I didn't push him away…I should have just let him but I knew what he wanted to do to me was wrong… He was going to…' Lioness said and started crying. D'Jok knew what she was going to say and held her tighter.
'Don't you ever blame yourself for what he did!' D'Jok said and still held her near.
'What he did to you. To Mark. To soccer! It's unforgivable. Lioness don't quit please not because of him. Quit because you want to not because of fear!' D'Jok said
'D'Jok I can't.' Lioness said and was crying into his chest.
'You can!. That's why he's back! He wants to see you like this! You can't let him win! You can't let him control your life! You can't let him take your soccer!' D'Jok said. Lioness pushed D'Jok slightly away. She looked at him and stayed silent. She got up and went to her bag and took a broken notebook and flicked through it. She looked for the page and saw the lines and read it out.
'You play our soccer. You play our stories so the world can see our magic. Don't let our stories be taken and thrown away. Don't let them take our soccer.' Lioness said and looked at D'Jok. D'Jok got up and looked at her notebook.
'May I?' D'Jok asked and Lioness gave the notepad to him. D'Jok looked her notepad and smiled.
'You know they are looking down at you right now. Do what will make you happy, what will make them proud.' D'Jok said. Lioness looked at the notebook and closed her eyes. 'Show our story. Play our soccer.' Lioness said and opened her eyes.
'We will be there for you. He can't hurt you. Not while I'm here.' D'Jok said and Lioness gave him a hug. D'Jok closed his eyes and embraced the hug and held her. 'Thank you.' Lioness said and looked at his face.
'No problem.' D'Jok said and wiped her tear. The looked at each other. Lioness gave a weak smile and pushed the hair from her face. D'Jok lifted her head so he could see her face. D'jok leaned in and so did Lioness.
'Lioness. Its Aarch and Mark. Can you let us in?' Aarch said and waited for her response.
Lioness and D'Jok sat down and she allowed Aarch to enter.
'I'm sorry Lioness. I thought you should know now rather than later.' Aarch explained.
'I know.' Lioness said. She passed her notebook to Mark and he saw the message written inside and smiled.
'We need to make them proud. Our soccer.' Lioness said. Mark nodded and the two done their handshake.
'Time to level up.' Mark said and Lioness nodded her head.
'Coach. If we play them. I must start. No bench. I need to beat him.' Lioness told Aarch. He simply nodded.
'What were you doing here?' Aarch said as he saw D'Jok.
'He made me see sense.' Lioness said and gave him a smile. Mark looked at Lioness and D'Jok and smiled.
'I'm going to go to bed soon. Is there any more information I need to know?' Lioness asked and Aarch shook his head and said goodnight. Lioness and D'Jok looked at each other with a smile.
'You need to get some rest. You will wake up with a headache if you don't get enough sleep.' D'Jok said.
'Night.' Lioness said and gave him a smile as he left the room.
