The team left the room and went to shower.
Mei's POV
How was she able to do that move? She by passed everyone and was able to get through so easily. She's not even fit.
Mei lost her trail of thought when she heard a knock on the door.
'Come in.' Mei said as she tied her hair up.
'Hey.' D'Jok said and walked into her room.
'Hey yourself' Mei said and sat down on her bed. 'Training was mental today. How Lioness and Mark able to do that was shot? Please I'm still confused.' She said and sat down on her bed.
'Yeah. It got me off guard when I first saw it. Coach said we call all do it. We just have to think of our own, what we want the ball to do and what we want to do to our opponents.' D'Jok said and Mei nodded her head.
'Good to know. She is really good. When you think about the fact that she was able to do that at 65% fit.' Mei said
'Yeah. She's amazing and Mark is even turn up more and more. She brings out the best in him.' D'Jok said and smiled.
'Oh gosh. I forgot ask what's up.' Mei said and gave him a smile.
'Oh yeah. So I was thinking about dating someone.' D'Jok said.
'Really?' Mei said looking at her ex.
'Why do you sound shocked?' D'Jok asked her
'Oh. No. I'm not. Go on.' Mei said
'I just wanted to tell you that. I haven't told her but I think… I think I really like her.' D'Jok said to Mei
'I'm happy for you.' Mei said and gave him a hug.
'Thanks. I just want to see if maybe we can…' D'Jok said
'Understandable.' Mei said 'Honestly. That was the reason why Sinead and I didn't want people to know that we are boyfriend and girlfriend.'
'I get it.' D'Jok said and gave a laugh 'Thanks for that. See you later' D'Jok replied and began to leave her room.'
'D'Jok.' Mei said and the redhead turned around.
'Yeah.' D'Jok replied to her.
'Lioness… Do you know what happened to her yesterday?' Mei asked
'No… I don't' D'Jok lied to her.
'Okay. She seemed good today but yesterday she had me worried.' Mei said.
'Yeah. She had me worried too. She will open up when the time is right.' D'Jok said and Mei gave him a nodded. The redhead parted from her room and went to the living room.
'Dude. You alright?' Shark asked D'Jok
'Yeah man. Have you seen Aarch?' D'Jok asked everyone.
'He is in the training room with Dame Simbai' Axel said and received a thumbs up from D'Jok who went to the room.
Aarch saw D'Jok entering the room and signalled for him to stay quite.
'Okay. Lioness. Let's do that again.' Aarch said and D'Jok came forward to watch Lioness on the screen.
Lioness used the breath and did a backwards scissor kick into the top net.
'How was that?' Lioness asked him.
'Much better. Clamp what is the reading on that ball?' Aarch said
'That is some power there kid.' Clamp said and clapped for her.
'Nice shot Li.' D'Jok said
'D'Jok? How long have you been there for?' Lioness asked
'Okay. Another break is needed. Good job Lioness' Dame Simbai said and looked at her screen. The simulation ended and Lioness stepped out.
'So. How are you feeling?' D'Jok asked Lioness.
'Good. Still rusty but I'm recovering better.' Lioness said and began to walk out of the training room.
'Cool. I kind of told Mei. She seemed cool with it.' D'Jok said to Lioness and walked out with her.
'Cool.' Lioness said
'So. We still haven't given Mr Lugi are answer for the shoot…' D'Jok said and rubbed the back of his neck.
'Oh yeah... with everything that has happened I completely forgot… I don't mind doing it…' Lioness said a little nervous
'Yeah… same. I don't mind doing the shoot… ' D'Jok asked her.
'Hey D'Jok. Hey Li.' Madison said.
'Hey Madison.' They both said
'The guys are watching TV. Want to join?' Madison said
'Sure.' D'Jok said and Lioness began to follow
'Actually. Li. Can I talk to you privately?' Madison asked her. Lioness simply nodded and followed Madison to her room.
'It's about Axel.' Madison said as she closed her door.
'What's up?' Lioness asked her.
'I just feel that we are kind of losing our spark. Honestly has he told you anything about our relationship?' Madison asked her.
'Why would he tell me?' Lioness asked her with a confused look on her face.
'Come on Lioness. You and Axel are so close to each other. He will always tell you when something is eating him up.' Madison expressed to her 'Lioness please tell me if you know anything'
'I don't honest. He hasn't said anything to me.' Lioness told her.
'Li. What should I do?' Madison asked us
'What I think you should do is talk to Axel.' Lioness said
'Okay and then what?' Madison asked and looked at Lioness.
'Do you actually like Axel? Apart from you having sex with him?' Lioness asked Madison who blushed.
'How did you know?' Madison stuttered at the Brazilian.
'I think everyone can hear on this team… Plus the glow.' Lioness told her and pointed at her face. Madison covered her face and looked down in embarrassment.
'You still haven't answer the question.' Lioness told her and Madison looked up at her.
'I do. I really do like Axel. I just feel that we are losing each other.' Madison explained.
'Then talk to him. Look Madison if you feel this way just tell Axel.' Lioness said and got up.
'Trust me. You have nothing to lose from telling him.' Lioness said and helped her up.
'Thanks Lioness.' Madison said and gave her a small hug.
'Oh… when was the last time you heard us…' Madison asked looking at the ground.
'Last match. Tia, Rocket, Mei, Shark, King, Hawk, Yuki, Thran, Mark, D'Jok, Micro Ice, and I met Ahito in the kitchen because we couldn't sleep.' Lioness said and Madison was blushing.
'It's fine. We just never knew the pitch your voice could go.' Lioness said to red Madison who was left standing there.
Lioness went into her room and soon heard a knock.
'Come in.' Lioness said and Micro Ice came in.
'Hey Micro.' Lioness said and untied her hair.
'Hey Li. I just wanted to ask you a question.' Micro Ice said and Lioness nodded and waited for the question to be thrown.
'1! The hissatsu tactics. I want to make one.' Lioness nodded and asked Micro Ice
'That's fine. What do you have in mind?'
'Well. I have no idea' Micro Ice said and sat down on her bed.
'Okay. What is it? A shot? A dribble?' Lioness asked Micro Ice who looked up at her ceiling.
'I want to do a shot. Like what you and Mark did today but different. Floor work shot. 'Micro Ice told her and Lioness nodded her head.
'We can do that… but it's not easy. A lot of work needs to be put in.' Lioness said and was cut off by Micro Ice.
'Which I will. Lioness I really want to do this.' Micro Ice said and Lioness gave him a smile.
'Let's go now.' Lioness said and Micro Ice followed her. Lioness knocked on Aarch's door and waited for him to open the door.
'Lioness. Micro Ice. What's up?' Aarch asked the two
'Can I quickly take Micro Ice in a forest?' Lioness asked Aarch who looked at Lioness confused and then looked at Micro Ice.
'Why?' Aarch asked still confused about the question.
'You will see on the pitch. Eventually.' Lioness said and Micro Ice looked at her.
'Okay… Just make sure you two are back for supper.' Aarch said and looked at the two. Lioness gave him a smile and nodded. Micro Ice looked at the two and followed immediately behind Lioness.
'Why are we going to a forest?' Micro Ice said and looked at Lioness.
'I will explain when we get their' Lioness said and looked back at him. The two meet everyone in the living room.
'Hawk can I borrow your blade jet?' Lioness asked him
'Why?' Hawk said and got up.
'Need to quickly go somewhere quickly.' Lioness said and Hawk nodded his head in a no direction.
'You always take my bike when we don't want to use yours and sometimes you don't even ask.' Lioness said to the redhead.
'Here take mine.' Axel said and threw her his keys.
'Thanks Axel. Come on Micro Ice' Lioness said to him
'Where are you going?' D'Jok said
'Just doing a quick tour. We will be back by supper.' Lioness told him.
'Cool. See you soon.' D'Jok said biting his lip. The two hopped into Axel's car and flew. As they flew Micro Ice couldn't stop looking at Lioness as she was driving.
'We're here.' Lioness said and secured the car. Lioness turned to see Micro Ice looking at her.
'What?' Lioness said and Micro Ice.
'Nothing.' Micro Ice said to her.
'You have been looking at me since we got in the car. What's up?' Lioness asked Micro Ice who blushed slightly.
'Do you actually think we can win?' Micro Ice asked her.
'The tournament? At your current level. No. We won't. If everyone grows. Yeah.' Lioness said and got out of the car. 'Let's go. Bring the ball with you,' Lioness continued and hiked up a hill. Micro Ice followed behind her.
'Li. How does this actually help?' Micro Ice as they continued to hike to the top.
'Stop.' Lioness told him and he did what he was told. 'The one thing that will help you is the wind.' Lioness continued and saw his confused face. Lioness smiled and picked up a leaf.
'Look you are kind of like the wind. You are able to glide by because of your speed and dribbling.' Lioness dropped the leaf and the wind picked it up and moved it across Micro Ice's face. Micro Ice looked at the leaf.
'You need to work on a technique that combines your pace and dribbling skills. I think the wind will teach you something.' Lioness said and Micro Ice nodded.
'However you said you wanted a shooting hissatsu.' Lioness said and Micro Ice nodded
'That means I need something strong then wind… A hurricane' Micro Ice said and looked at Lioness who nodded.
'That would work.' Lioness said and gave him a smile. Micro Ice sat down and looked at the scenery of forest.
'A hurricane…' Micro Ice said and looked at the football. He then brought out his phone and googled a hurricane.
'The formation of a hurricane. I can do that. I will need your help.' Micro Ice said and got up from his position.
'I'm surprised you even got data here. Sure I can.' Lioness said and the two walked back to the car.
'Do you have a move that combines the wind Li?' Micro Ice asked. Lioness looked at Micro Ice and nodded.
'I like to use the elements to make a shot. It's something that my Great-Grandpa did. He was a goalkeeper… One of the best actually.' Lioness said with a smirk on his face.
'Cool. Did he inspire you to play?' Micro Ice asked and looked at Lioness.
'Yeah. He did. He taught me some goalkeeper moves but he realised I had a better shooting and dribbling range rather than catching. He pushed me to play any position and I chose midfield and striker.' Lioness said
'Cool. Then the ace was born' Micro Ice said and Lioness gave a small giggle. 'Thanks Li. This really and strangely helped me figure out my hissatsu tactic.' Micro Ice said and got into the car.
'No problem.' Lioness said buckling up her seat belt.
'You know. I feel like I've met you somewhere before.' Micro Ice said.
'Really?' Lioness said and looked at him. His face was leaning into hers.
'Micro what are you doing?' Lioness said as she pulled away from his face.
'Sorry. I just thought I have seen you somewhere. Like we crossed paths.' Micro Ice said
'Maybe. Maybe not. Let's get going. We said we will be back by supper.' Lioness said and gave him a smile.
'Cool. I'm hungry.' Micro Ice said and held his growling stomach.
'So I can hear.' Lioness said and laughed. She then switched on the engine and drove back to the hotel. They were just in time for supper.
'Good timing kiddo.' Aarch said and grabbed two plates for Lioness and Micro Ice.
'Micro how was it?' D'Jok said to him.
'Really good.' Micro Ice said and gave Lioness a thumbs up which she reflected to him.
'Cool. We are travelling tomorrow so make sure you can get some sleep.' D'Jok told the two and sat down.
'Micro Ice make sure you get even more rest. You will play. Lioness I'm going to leave you out. You are making a quicker recovery but let's not rush you in.' Aarch told her. She simply nodded and sat in between D'Jok and Micro Ice.
'Hope that will be the only match you miss.' D'Jok told her and continued eating his food. After everyone finished their food and relaxed. They all headed to bed. Lioness snuck out of her room and went to the training room.
'Switch on. Level 3.' Lioness said to herself as she was setting up the training simulation.
'What are you doing?' A voice said which made Lioness jolt a little bit. She turned around to see who it was.
'Hey uncle. Just warming up.'
'You know doing a training session by yourself when you are recovering from an injury isn't that smart.' Aarch told her as he walked up to her.
'I did it before. Plus I really need to try one thing out. I will be off to bed. I promise.' Lioness told him.
'Get in. Then off to bed.' Aarch told her and she ran into the pitch.
