Match day:
'Yuki.
Mei, King, Thran, Shark.
Hawk. Rocket. Tia
Micro Ice, Axel and D'Jok.
You will all be starting. Lioness and Mark you are on the bench. Let's eliminate the Ryker's match out of our heads. Play hard and show them our training. Let's go kids!' Aarch shouted and the team clapped bumped up for the match.
'Aarch. I've got their team sheet.' Clamp said and gave him. Aarch thanked Clamp and took the paper from him.
'William Costa.' Aarch said to himself.
'Yo Li. Willy is here!' Mark said as he heard the name.
'No way! I haven't seen him in ages.' Lioness said and went to see the team sheet.
'You know him?' Rocket joined in.
'Yeah. One of the stars of the Mexico team. He is really good and has a couple of hissatsu up his sleeves.' Lioness said and everyone looked at his picture.
'How old is the dude?' Shark asked he saw his picture.
'He should be 22. Right Mark?' Lioness asked.
'Should do. He was heading to college when we were first selected.' Mark said.
'Let's get a move on.' Aarch said and led his team to the tunnel. As the Snow Kids approached the tunnel the Sands made their way into the tunnels too.
'Hold up? Is that the Kingdom's finest Catalina Leone and Mark Ramos?' The boy said and ran to the two.
'Big man 45! William Costa!' Lioness and Mark both shouted and ran up and gave him a hug.
'Long time no see amigos. Mark bossing it like usual. Catalina you have matured in a lot of areas.' William said with a cheeky smile and looked at her body.
'Still the big flirt I see. When did you play for the Sands?' Lioness asked him.
'I was drafted this year. I was supposed to play against you earlier but I had a back injury. As you can see I am healed and ready to play.' William said and gave them a cheeky smile. 'It's an honour to play against the Snow Kids and Aarch.' He continued and shook everyone's hands.
'Nice to meet you.' D'Jok said and everyone gave him a wave.
'After the match we need to hang out again.' William said to Mark and Lioness. He gave a kiss on Lioness' cheek and handshake to Mark.
'Ayy we are enemies now.' Mark said and the two laughed.
P: Ladies and gentlemen welcome to the last game of the group stages. This match will be between the Snow Kids and the Sands of Menor. Geoff and I will be commentating on this match.
G: That's right Paulina. Looks like this should be entertaining as the Snow Kids, Rykers and Sands have qualified for the next round due to the changes of the rules. (2016 Euros Cup system.) Looks like the Snow Kids are forced to make a couple of changes to the starting line up with Hawk and Yuki brought in. Yuki being brought in as her cousin Ahito has injured his hand.
P: That's right Geoff. Looks like the Sands have brought in William Costa. According to the newspapers he was dubbed as the Mexican wonder-kid due to his ability with the ball. Kick-off is now and the Sands have played it.
*Fast forward*
P: Half an hour gone. Still 0-0 in this match and the Sands have now got possession with a goal kick. So far not the lively match we have seen from the two teams and it looks like the Sands want to change it. Costa gets the ball and passes it to Ruby. Ruby nutmegs Rocket and sends the ball Raquel. Raquel pass it to William but Mei is in the way. He still keeps control of the ball and looks up in the air.
'UFO!' William shouts and Mei turns around. (All techniques will be part of the Inazuma series. Please check on youtube.)
G: He gets by Mei and is in on goal against Yuki!
'Dark Tornado!' William shouted.
G: Goal! 1-0 Sands an incredible hissatus shot from William Costa! Yuki had no chance in saving that one!
'Damn it!' Aarch said as he watched the reply of the goal. 'Guys make sure you block the ball getting to him.' He told the team.
'Looks like William hasn't lost it.' Mark told Lioness.
'I think he's actually evolved. That looks way stronger than before.' Lioness told him.
'Looks that way.' Mark said and watched Aarch monitor the screen.
P: 1-0 to the Sands but the Snow Kids aren't giving up that easy and they are breaking with Tia. She feeds in D'Jok who uses the breath and shoots!
'Flash Upper!' The goal keeper shouted and stopped D'Jok shot.
G: Oh my D'Jok shot has been saved by Matinap's hissatsu technique.
'What the heck.' Axel said and was equally bewildered as D'Jok.
'We will get them next time.' D'Jok said and looked at everyone who nodded.
Aarch watched as D'Jok shot was saved later, Tia, Micro, Mei and Rocket's breath shoots were all saved. Axel shot and the goalkeeper comfortably saved his shot. Aarch looked at the time and then back at Lioness and Mark.
'You guys we need you to use your hissatsu shoots.' Aarch told them. Lioness and Mark both nodded and went to to warm up. 'Mark I will put you in first.' Aarch told him and the two continued to warm up.
P: That's half time folks. The Snow Kids are trailing 1-0 to the Sands.
The team went back in the dressing room and sat down.
'We can't even get a single shot in with and without the breath. Coach what do we do?' D'Jok said and everyone waited for his answer.
'You still play. The way you guys have defended since that opening goal has been great. We will get a goal trust me.' Aarch said and looked at Mark and Lioness.
'Mark you ready?' Aarch said and he boy nodded. Aarch gave them a quick pep talk and the team went out again.
P: The break is over and we are back from half time. Looks like Aarch has brought in Mark to replace Micro Ice. Looks like he wants to pack the midfield with that change. Snow Kids kick off and are looking for an equalising goal.
*fast forward*
G: The Snow Kids are looking for the goal but somehow they are still trailing. William has been marking Mark and he hasn't been able to get his first touch of the ball. 58th minute in and looks like Aarch is making another substitution and this should please the crowd to see the fit Catalina Lioness Leone available. Hawk is the man substituted for the Brazilian.
'Get us a goal Li.' Hawk told her as she came on.
'Pick up number 10 and number 6 in our half.' William said and looked at the two.
P: Looks like William Costa is giving orders to his teammates. The Snow Kids have the throw in and Lioness gets her first touch of the ball. She pass the ball into space where Mark has collected i. He passes the ball to Tia. Tia passes it Rocket to D'Jok to Axel to Lioness. Costa catches the ball before she gets it and is running at pace. Lioness gets the ball back from Costa and breaks from him. She is up against 3 defenders.
G: Lioness does three defenders and passes the ball to Mark who is on side!
'Tiger Drive' Mark shouted and shot the ball.
G: Goal! Snow Kids! 1-1 after some excellent build up play from the Snow kids. The two subs linking up perfectly.
'Nice one.' Lioness said and gave Mark a hug.
'Let's move it! We got a game to win.' Lioness shouted and everyone cheered.
P: Looks like the Snow Kids are in full swing now as Rocket has taken the ball away from Raquel feet and sends a ball straight to D'Jok. He controls it beautiful and sends the ball to Mark!
'Tiger Drive!' Mark shouted and shot the ball.
'Gigantic bomb!' Matinap shouted and saved Mark's shot.
G: Looks like the Sands aren't giving up as Matinap pulls off another hissatsu saving shot! Still 1-1. He sends the ball out to Costa! Who has plenty of space behind him and is on side!
'Dark Tornado!' Costa shouted and shot the ball.
P: Yuki is using her breath to create a barrier between the ball and the goal! The SHOT HAS BROKE THE FLUX! The ball is heading to the back of the net! NO! LIONESS IS ON THE LINE!
'Shit!' William cursed as he saw Lioness on the line.
'Mugaton Header' Lioness said and headed the ball away.
G: I don't believe it Paulina… She has somehow saved the Snow Kids. The ball goes out for a throwing as she is slowly getting back to her feet.
'Great move!' D'Jok said as he helped her up.
'Good cover Lioness!' Aarch said to her.
'Damn William's shot is even harder to defend then before,' Lioness said still rubbing her head.
'Yo Li. Let's go old school.' Mark said and the two done their handshake.
P: Go Snow Go is ring around the stadium. The Sands have their throw in and Lioness gets there before Ruby and starts the attack. She nutmegs Raquel and passes the ball to Axel who drives by the bye line and swings in a ball.
'Lioness all you.' Mark said and allowed her to jump on his shoulder.
'Fire Tornando!' Lioness said and shot the ball!
'Yes! Aarch shouted he saw the ball fly in the back of the net!
P: Goal! 2-1 Snow Kids and the stadium is rocking. Lioness gets on the score sheet after assisting Mark. The Snow Kids are doing a dog pile on top of the goal scorer and the fans are going mental. The 84th minute and Lioness gets them a goal to lead the Sands.
G: The Sands are asking to speed up the process and are looking to equalise. Costa on the ball but is blocked by Lioness. Costa tries to dumb her but she is still following him. He kicks the ball to the corner flag and is running with Lioness. What a foot race. 89th minute and Lioness gets in front of the ball and Costa who is trying to get the ball before it runs out of play. He pushes her to the ground and the ref calls for a foul.
'You always know how to annoy me.' William said and helped her up.
'I try.' Lioness said and gave him a smile.
P: Freekick to the Snow Kids and Yuki kicks the ball into the Sands half. Raquel heads the ball into Ruby who is disposed by Lioness and she by passes Costa's tackle and runs at the open space! She sends the ball to Mark who nutmegs the ball into Lioness's path! Snow Kids are looking for a third and Matinap is rushing out of the goal.
G: Lioness chips the goalkeeper and passes the ball to the left!
P: D'Jok shots the ball to the empty net! Goal SNOW KIDS! 3-1 and what a second half this has been for the defending champions.
G: D'Jok lifts Lioness and celebrates with his team mates.
'Welcome back number 10.' D'Jok said and continued to hug her.
P: The stadium is cheering for the Brazilian duo. Mark and Lioness' name are ringing around the stadium and two have been sensational. D'Jok gets his first goal of this match finally beating Matinap.
G: That's it! Fulltime! 3-1 to the Snow Kids! Great second half and 4 great goals we have seen tonight.
The team was celebrating on the field apart from Lioness and Mark. They went to see William and gave him a hug.
'Dude you were amazing.' Mark told him.
'Dark tornado has grown so much strength.' Lioness told him and William laughed.
'So has your shots guys! Man that was great. We need to make sure we play again. That brought back great memories from when we were little.' William said and the three hugged it out.
'I saw one kid in row there. He looks like a fan of yours Li.' William said and pointed out the young boy who watched them in amazement holding a pen. Lioness took of her shoes and walked with William and Mark to the boy. The boy eyes grew even more as he noticed that they were coming over to him. Lioness took his pen and signed her boots and gave him back the pen.
'I want you to have my boots.' Lioness told him and the boy hugged her. He held her and whispered how much he loved her. She gave him a smile and took pictures with fans in that section. She then let go of the boy and put the boots in his hands. She gave him a kiss on the forehead and waved to the fans who cheered 'Lioness' repeatedly.
Lioness ran back to the dressing room and meet the rest of her team mates who cheered at their winning score.
'3-1 would you believe it! Well done kids!' Aarch said and everyone jumped and chanted.
'Lioness your goal was amazing. Seriously I'm so happy we find you.' D'Jok told her and smiled at her.
'Thanks.' She said and smiled back at him. The guys went to the showers and the girls went theirs. After everyone was finished they all headed back to the coach. Aarch spoke to Lioness in Portuguese.
'Nice work kiddo. Great goal and great helping the defence with that header.' Aarch told her.
'Thanks Uncle. Looks like everyone is ticking and happy.' Lioness said and looked at her hands.
'Do you think I can have time to go back home?' Lioness said to him.
'You want to quite now?' Aarch asked her.
'No. I need to get stronger. In order for me to be stronger I need to be back home. Grandad will help me get stronger.' Lioness said and looked at him.
'You're thinking of Kabeymma aren't you?' Aarch asked her. She simply nodded.
'If we do that shot… He will find a way to make sure that it would be saved.' Lioness told him.
'Stop thinking about beating him. Have fun with it. If we face him then we will make sure that everyone is ready to beat him.' Aarch told her and sat next to Dame Sinbai. Lioness was thinking about what Aarch said that she didn't notice D'Jok calling her.
'Lioness!' D'Jok shouted at her and she looked up and apologised. He sat down next to her and whispered in her ear.
'Are you thinking of him?' She replied to him by simply nodding and gave a sigh.
'Don't. If you played like that by having fun everyone will be proud of you. I was so proud that we have such an amazing player on our team. You were bossing it and looked so comfortable and hungry.' D'Jok told her and held hand. Lioness looked up and blushed as he spoke to her. D'Jok blushed too and the two smiled at each other noticing each other blushing.
'You want to listen to some music?' Lioness said and held her phone.
'Sure.' He said and got his speakers out. He was listening to the song and bounced his head as so did the rest of the team.
'Hold on. Is this Uncle Rico? I have never heard this track.' Mark said and Lioness respond.
'That's because it has just been finished today! You guys just got the preview.' Lioness said and ever shouted. As the coach pulled at the house the press was awaiting the team. The team rushed inside while Hawk was enjoying the star light. King dragged him back inside and everyone laughed.
'Looks like they are looking for a story.' King said and followed everyone to the dining room.
'Always. They are a pain but they need the money.' D'Jok said and heard his phone ring.
'Hello? Hi Mr Lugi. How are you?... Yep that's great… Yep… Sure thing when? Tuesday… Okay but that' a bit short notice… That's fine I think we can make it. Thank you bye.' D'Jok said and end called.
'Li. Looks like the shoot is moved to Tuesday.' He told her and she gave a nod.
'Look who's been voted best rookie of the month.' Aarch said and gave her award. Everyone gave her a round of applause and she smiled.
'Team effort.' She said and everyone cheered. The guys all ate their dinner and went to the living room.
'Oy the Soccer PM should be on. I want to see the highlights for the Lightning's game.' Rocket said and everyone jumped on the coach.
'Hey Lioness, Warren scored a hat-trick and an assist.' Mark said and grinned and saw her blush.
'Mark shut up.' Lioness said still smirking and everyone started laughing. They all watched the highlights of the games. Micro Ice looked over at Lioness and then at the floor. Lioness saw his gaze and went to talk to him.
'You okay?' Lioness asked him as everyone kept talking.
'I have met you before.' Micro Ice said and Lioness gave a bewildered look to his announcement.
'When?' Lioness asked
'When we were little. I was in Rio with my mum. You kicked the ball so that I wouldn't get hit by wood. It was you because you done that same kick.' Micro Ice said and Lioness started to remember.
'You were holding a puppy right?' Lioness asked and Micro Ice nodded. He gave her a hug which surprised her and then hugged him back.
'Now we definitely need to make this hissatsu shot.' He said while hugging her.
'You got that right.' Lioness told him. D'Jok looked at Lioness and Micro Ice. He widened his eyes when he say Micro Ice hug her. He looked away holding his glass and walked passed them.
'D'Jok.' Micro Ice said and he didn't response.
'What's up with him?' Lioness said and went to go check on him.
'No. I will go.' Micro Ice said and looked for the redhead. After he found him in the office.
'What's up buddy?' Micro Ice asked but he didn't response.
'D'Jok.' He said slightly louder and he didn't do anything. 'You know I know why you are angry.' Micro Ice told him.
'What Micro?' D'Jok said to him.
'That you like Lioness? I don't like her. She saved me when I was little.' Micro Ice said and D'Jok looked at him.
'Hold on. Saved you?' D'Jok said and looked at him.
'I was in Rio with my mum. It was a windy day. Rocoo was running and was trapped by some wood. I went to go and get him. A piece of wood fell from the house it almost hit me but a kid kicked a ball and it hit the wood away from us. When Lioness did that shot I knew it was her that saved me when I was little.' Micro Ice explained to him. D'Jok hugged him around the shoulder.
'Wow. How comes you never said anything?' D'Jok said and Micro Ice just shrug.
'Never came up. So I just want to say she is attractive but I don't like her like that. Try and get her before someone else does.' Micro Ice said.
'How did you know I like her?' D'Jok said to him.
'Dude. I'm your best friend.' Micro Ice said and gave him a light punch.
'Of course. I just thought this might be a Mei situation.' D'Jok said and Micro Ice nodded and smiled.
'Yeah. That was tuff. That not going to happen. I have my eye on Yuki.' Micro Ice said to him.
'Really? You have been so neutral with her.' D'Jok said to him. Micro Ice nodded his head and the two fell silent.
'Everything good?' Lioness said as she saw the two boys sitting there.
'Lioness! How long have you been standing there?' D'Jok asked Micro Ice.
'Just to here Micro's crush. I had a feeling you were too neutral.' Lioness said and walked in the room.
'Well. You are going to help me get her as well as creating a new shot.' Micro Ice said and stood up.
'I will be back. That 6th root beer is kicking in.' Micro Ice said and ran to the toilet. Lioness sat next to D'Jok and looked at him.
'You okay?' Lioness asked him.
'Yeah. I am.' D'Jok said with a smile.
'Good.' Lioness said and gave a smile.
'That shot. Fire Tornado. When did you learn to do that?' D'Jok asked her.
'I actually can't remember. It was one of the first hissatsu I learnt how to do. It was because of one show. The superhero's power was fire. Then the other superhero's power was controlling the weather. That's when I thought lets combined it so I can be my favourite superheroes in one.' Lioness laughed with D'Jok.
'It felt good to use it. It reminds me of everyone back home. That's something that I missed.' Lioness said and smiled to herself.
'That's good.' D'Jok said and gave her a smile. Lioness held his hand and dragged him.
'Ugh. Where are we going?' D'Jok asked while he was still being dragged. She turned her head and continued to lead him away from the room.
'We are going to play some video games and I am going to beat you.'
'You can try.' D'Jok told her and the two played video games with everyone.
