RtR: Hi! Damn, I missed writing this fic!

Kai: You're not getting any sympathy from me.

RtR: And who asked for your sympathy?

Kai: *averted his eyes* Just being sure…

RtR: You're just too full of yourself. Anyways let's get to the chapter.

Kai: Yeah better than hearing your annoying voice.

RtR: Someone's wishing for their death, I see. *smirks*

Kai: No! I meant your voice is sweetest ever. Hail RtR!

RtR: *laughs* Hey, I didn't get hit by shoes today!

Kai: 'Coz you are too cheap for them.

RtR: You brat! *glares evilly*

Kai: Hey, I'll do the disclaimer. RtR doesn't own anything other than the plot and her OCs, not even the songs.

RtR: *mumbles* Saved by the disclaimer.

Thanks to Naive Subha, Wanderer's Cynefin, Lily, solitude 13 and The-next-you-know-who for reviewing last chapter.

Note: I changed certain things, and proof read the previous chapter and corrected any cringe-worthy mistakes. And also that Hilary found Angelica when she was two years old. You can check out the prev chapters for reassurance. :)

Chapter-9

It's easier to run
Replacing this pain with something numb
It's so much easier to go
Than face all this pain here all alone

Huffing and puffing, Hilary came to a stop near the Night Rocker's. She frantically looked around, searching for the kidnappers.

There was not a single sign of any living being nearby. Even the club was closed. She started regretted her rash decision to come here.

When she about to turn around and go back, black covered her vision. Thankfully she held her breath at the right moment.

Trusting her reflexes, she elbowed her captor. A groan followed her hit, but soon her hands folded in the front.

Soon it became impossible for her hold her breath any longer and she gave into and succumbed into the darkness.

Something has been taken from deep inside of me
A secret I've kept locked away
No one can ever see

"Where is she?" Tyson grumbled while trying to call Hilary. It's been half an hour and he couldn't find her anywhere. He even went to Angle's room, but the room was in shambles and she was nowhere to be found.

The front door opened, revealing Tala and Julia. "We couldn't find her anywhere. Even Kai and Angel are missing."

"Where could they have gone?" Tyson sighed, pushing his fingers through his blue strands.

"Did you check Angel's room thoroughly?" Julia asked him.

"Yeah, there's nothing there."

Tala rolled his eyes, "Knowing your attention span, you must have missed something."

Saying this, both he and Julia rushed upstairs. "Wha-" Baffled, Tyson ran after them.

The trio started searching the room for any clue, until Julia's eyes fell on the note written on the cupboard.

"Guys…" She called out to them. "I think we know where Hilary is."

"What?! Why would Hilary go there? She is a smart girl and knows better than doing something Impulsive like this." Tyson was in denial.

Tala placed a hand on the frantic blunette's shoulder, "You're forgetting that she's also a mother, Tys. Though not biologically, but she's attached to Angel. She would even jump down a cliff for her daughter."

"Let's go find her or what?" Julia said, breaking the moment.

Wounds so deep they never show
They never go away
Like moving pictures in my head
For years and years they've played

"Let me out of here!" The chained brunette yelled at her captors. "Why are you doing this?! Where's my daughter?!" Without saying a word, the captors went out of the cell, locking it behind them.

Tears of despair fell like crystals down the ruby eyes, making way to the dingy floor through her porcelain skins.

'I'll find you soon, Angel. Wait for momma.'Her chain of thoughts was broken as soon as she heard sound of boots clanking on the floor.

She looked up to see none other than Boris Balkov standing outside her cell, leering at her.

"Hilary Tachibana." Hilary felt disgust run down her spine after hearing her name from his mouths.

"What do you want, Balkov?" She sneered at him, not hiding her disgust for him.

"I want a lot of things from you," His lewd eyes stared at her assets, and then back at her face, "But that will have to wait." The brunette glared back at him.

Boris snapped his fingers, and soon the wall on Hilary's left lifted up. The wall was separating the big room in two parts.

As the wall was lifted completely, Hilary saw a weary and beaten guy two metres away from her, hanging by chains like her.

A gasp left her mouth as soon as she recognised the guy. It was Kai.

"Kai…" She called out softly. In response the slate haired male lifted his head, his amethysts eyes glinting in recognition.

"Hils…" He whimpered out. Hilary smiled back at him.

"Wow, you two are worse than a pair of lovers." Boris snapped the duo's moment. "Don't worry, your secret affair will never go out because you both will never get out of here. You're here till your death day." Boris' evil cackles resonated in the room

"Shut your trap, Boris!" Kai growled at the bemused man in front of him.

"Fine, I guess I should stop fooling around and get to the point why I have captured you both here."

If I could change I would take back the pain I would
Retrace every wrong move that I made I would
If I could stand up and take the blame I would
If I could take all the shame to the grave I would

Tyson, Tala and Julia came to a stop near the Night Rocker's. They started searching around the area but couldn't find a single hint where Hilary was.

"This is pointless, man!" Tala put his hand on his hips in hopelessness.

Julia nodded at him, "Yeah, I think we should call the cops. We won't find anything ourselves."

"Guys, there's no time to ponder on this. We need to find Hilary." Tyson looked devastated. He never imagined that her fiancée will get lost the day he will propose to her.

"We understand, Tyson. But you need to think to think rationally here-" Tala words were cut off, as Julia exclaimed at them,

"Guys, look what I found!" In the hand of the Spaniard was a batch, on which glinting bold letters read BIOVOLT.

"Well, aren't you quite a detective, my love." Tala winked at her, gaining a slap on his next by the said girl.

"What does Boris wants now?" Tyson mumbled his thoughts out.

If I could change I would take back the pain I would

I would take all the shame to the grave

The two prisoners were in grave shock after hearing what came out of the purple haired maniac's mouth.

Hilary didn't know what to say. She never thought it will come to this. Never in the zillions thoughts, it came to her that this could also happen. She couldn't comprehend that Angel, the kid whom she grew to be a mother of in a few months, was a product of Boris's…

Kai, on the other hand, was dumbfounded. He had no thoughts running in his mind, except 'How could this happen?' He knew there has to be a mistake or conspiracy backing this fact. But the more he tried to deny it, the more those words became true. And he knew the reason.

What Boris said to make the two of them completely shell-shocked, you'll ask.

"Angelica is my granddaughter."

Dun dun dun! Is the suspense building up? 'Coz mine definitely is. :D

And no, there's no secret KaiHil affair going on. Boris is just disgusting. And I love KaiHil friendship too. :D
