Hi all! AP testing is starting so it may take me a little bit longer to update. I'm not going to lie, I had only planned this story to be a one-shot but that went out the window! Anyways hope everyone is staying safe and enjoy!
It had been a couple of weeks since they had seen Yellow. Everyone was getting impatient. A missing piece of all their lives had been taken. They wanted to get as much information as they could before going in. What they had found out is that in the Sinnoh region, there was a secret group that had been stealing objects connected to the Sinnoh place time legend. They had taken the Lustrous and Adamant Orbs. After weeks of research, that is all they had gotten
"I don't think we are going to be able to find anything else. We have gone days without getting any new or helpful information" said Crystal.
"Should we just go?" Said Silver.
"I think that's our best bet. We don't want to waste even more time" said Green.
Blue stood up.
"Alright… Let's go to Veilstone City"
Everyone was on edge, not only was this a foreign place, but everyone was deeply concerned for Yellow. Every time Team Rocker came back, they came back even harder than the last.
By the time they arrived, it was night time. Just because the sun was taking a break, doesn't mean that the Pokédex holders were taking a break. They arrived at the Pokemon center and went into a room that had a large table in the center.
"Okay, we need need to figure out what we are going to do," said Crystal.
No one spoke up. They were so used to Blue or Red having at least an idea of what they could do. But now, those two have been silent the whole time. Instead of sitting with everyone else, Red was leaning against the wall with his cap down, covering his eyes. Blue, on the other hand, was sitting with the rest of them, but she was just looking down at her feet which were swinging, back and forth.
Gold had enough of the awkward silence. "What if we-"
Then all of sudden there was a bright blue light coming from the window. The group looked outside and saw that the meteors were shining the bright light.
"Those are the meteors that are said to be from space," said Ruby.
"We should check it out, Yellow's Pokédex says that she is inside the national park" commanded Green.
With that, the group headed out towards the meteors.
The meteors were shining a bright light towards the sky. Indicating that the legends were true. On the ground, Saturn and Mars were handling the collection of the meteors. In the air, Jupiter, Giovanni, and the leader of the whole operation, Cyrus were in the planes above, monitoring their prized girl.
Cyrus rose from his seat and looked out onto the stunning lights. "It's almost time until we can release her"
"Aren't you worried that they will come?" said the Team Rocket leader.
"They are already here"
Running up to the meteors, the group saw the two with the strange haircuts and the grunts that surrounded them.
"Who are those people?" questioned Sapphire.
"It doesn't matter, if they are here, then they have something to do with Yellow," said Red. It was the first thing he had said since they arrived in the new region.
With newfound energy, Red started to tell the group the plan.
Through their eyepieces, Saturn and Mars were told that the infamous Pokedex holders were near them and to proceed with caution.
"I cannot wait to seen that Red guy's face when he sees what we did to his little Yellow"
"What did you do to her?"
The Pokedexers came out of the shadows in squads. The grunts took to action and began to attack the famous group.
"Look, they are finally here! It's great for you to join us!" exclaimed Mars.
Silver had enough of their antics. "Who are you and what did you do to Yellow?"
Saturn had just gotten an update from Cyrus.
"Well, I think it would be easier if we showed you"
Yellow came down from the ship. Wearing the same clothes she wore when she was taken away from them.
"Yellow…" All logic left Red's head. He finally saw his girl after so long. Red came up running to her. Red gave her a big hug. Something was off. She wasn't returning the hug.
"Get off," said the girl in a monotone voice.
"Yellow?"
"So you can hear, I said get off before I make you"
Red stepped back and looked at the girl that stood before him. This wasn't the same Yellow that earned a special place in his heart.
"Wha… what happened to you?"
Her head hung low and then, she started to laugh. Yellow began to walk away and towards the meteors.
"You say that like something bad happened," Yellow said through her laughs.
The grunts started to attack Red again. Team Galactic had done their homework. They knew the strength of the famous group. They got hundreds of grunts to overwhelm them with numbers. And it was working.
Saturn turned to the leader of the Pokédex holders.
"There's nothing you can do to save your previous Yellow. She's long gone"
"What did you do to her?" Said Red with a firm tone.
"We gave her what she wanted… power"
The rest of the Pokédex holders were being swarmed by grunts.
"There's too many of them!" Screamed Ruby.
"Nothing is going to stop me from saving my best friend!" With that Blue's Pokemon unleashed their strong moves, reflecting the emotions of their beloved trainer.
With all lots of their numbers going down, the Pokédex holders were easily able to overcome Team Galactic.
With one swipe of her arm, all of the Pokédex holders went down. Yellow had immense power running through her veins. She loved this feeling. It was unlike anything before.
Although she got knocked down, there was no way she would stop until she got her Yellow back. Blue ran up to Yellow with all the strength she had and embraced her.
"Yellow, please stop this. You aren't you" said Blue. There was a desperation in her voice that no one had heard before. Blue had always had this confidence in her. She knew how to get what she wanted and she always did. This time, she didn't know what to do.
"Yellow, please come back to me. You're-"
Suddenly, Blue was thrown by Yellow. She hit one of the meteors right on her back which caused her to lose consciousness.
"BLUE" screamed Green. He ran over to the girl and carried her. Blue had gone through so much in the past months and Yellow was the one that was always there for her. Green did not want to admit to anyone, much less himself about how the girl in his arms made him feel. He tried to push her away to get rid of these feelings. But he only hurt Blue in the process. Green wanted to make it up to her. He would do anything to do so.
The rest of the Pokedex holders kept fighting on. They weren't famous for no reason. Despite being severely outnumbered, they were able to defeat all the Team Galactic grunts and now only had the commanders left.
Gold, Silver, Crystal, Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald knew what was on the line. They weren't going to let Team Galactic take away their beloved senior. The one that was always so kind to them, listening to any of their problems, and constantly risked her own safety to heal or listen to pokemon for them.
Blue started to wake up. She noticed that she was in Green's arms.
"Hey there, you know your arms are comfy"
Green looked down and tried his best not to show how happy he was that Blue was okay.
"Wow, no 'Blue you're okay!' I shouldn't be surprised" said Blue as she tried to stand up.
Green wouldn't let her. He wasn't going to let her get hurt again. When Blue noticed this, she smiled. Even though he hadn't said anything, she knew what his actions meant.
Back on the battlefield, the commanders were not dumb. They were outnumbered and their pokemon were nowhere near on the same level as the teenagers before him. But, they had Yellow.
Saturn spoke up. "Yellow look at these people, remember how they made you feel. Worthless, Pathetic. Like you were enough".
All except Red were confused. They had no idea Yellow felt this way. She was always such a bright and happy soul. She never complained and was always grateful for everything she had.
Red knew what Saturn was doing. He knew that if Saturn kept talking, that they could lose their beloved girl. With that, Red ran up to Yellow and just as Blue had done. He held her in his arms.
"Yellow, please stop this. You have always been more than enough. I hate that you feel that way. I gave you my Pokedex because I knew you were worthy of it-"
Yellow tried to push Red off her but he held on. He would not give up on her.
"Yellow, listen to me. When I first met you, you were a little girl that was scared of a Dragonair. Now, you are an amazing person that I look up to"
This shocked Yellow. How could Red, someone who has accomplished so much, the unofficial leader of the famous group of Pokedex holders, look up to her? A weak, pathetic girl.
Red could see that there was more life in her eyes again. He had to keep going. He had to have his Yellow back.
"You have always had such a special bond with Pokemon and people alike. You understand everyone so well, better than I ever will. Your amazing personality shines whenever you are with Pokemon. Seeing all the drawings you do shows how truly connected you are to each and every Pokemon that you meet. You always put Pokemon first, which is why you are a brave and amazing role model for not only our juniors but me too,"
Yellow looked up to Red, with even more life than before.
Red wasn't the only one that noticed this. The commanders knew that had to do something otherwise, their plan would fail.
Mars shouted, "He's only saying that because he wants to use your powers. They don't care about you, they could care about you helping them heal and talk to their Pokemon"
The darkness started to overtake Yellow once again. Red knew that he had to tell her, otherwise he would never be with his Yellow again.
"They're wrong. I would never use you because- I"
It was now or never.
"Because I love you Yellow. I love you so much. Please… come back to me… I need you". Red let some tears fall down his face.
Everyone was so proud of Red. They all knew of his feelings for the girl. Blue was even planning to set them up before Yellow got taken away. Green had her set her down as he knew that they had gotten Yellow back.
The beloved green eyes of Yellow were back. The girl started to speak.
"I love-" then she fainted, with Red catching her in his arms.
The Galactic commanders realized that they had lost. Jupiter spoke something into her headset and then threw down a ball which released a mass of smoke. Everyone looked to see where they went, but when the smoke cleared, any evidence of Team Galactic was gone.
"No they're gone, we never got to have out revenge" exclaimed Gold.
Crystal put her hand and his shoulder to calm him down. "At least we have Yellow back"
Red looked back down at the girl he loved so much. She was pale, white almost and she wasn't breathing.
"GUYS WE NEED TO GET YELLOW TO THE HOSPITAL NOW"
With that, the group ran as fast as they could to the nearest hospital. Praying that they would hear Yellow's sweet voice again.
Sooo, how did you like it? I know it's a little cheesy but sometimes cheesy is nice. I'm hoping to finish this little story soon. Maybe by this weekend? It depends on how much work I have.
