Blue eyes scanned the road around them as the girl walked along with a somewhat anxious bounce in her step. Part of her was scared the Grimm would be drawn to her emotions again — but if they were in danger than Ren

"Nora." Her companion's voice cut though her thoughts, snapping her back to reality.

Nora faltered for a step but immediatly bounced back so she was in stride with the boy next to her again. "Y - yes, Ren?" She asked. Ren gave the tiniest of nods, his way of telling her they were in no danger and not to worry so much - or the Grimm would come for them for real. Nora's eyes cast to the gravel at her feet. "Sorry..." She mumbled and took a deep breath to calm herself. Ren offered a small smile and a gentle hand on her upper arm that squeezed gently before retracting.

"Its alright. Let's keep going." Ren told her. Nora smiled and mentally chided herself, being upset at herself could also draw Grimm to them.

The duo walked, the only sound was their footsteps as they traveled. Nora refused to let her mind wander — she'd done it enough times to know it usually led her down a rabbit hole that required Ren to help her out to escape it.

The orange-haired girl broke the silence after it had only lasted a few minutes, despite it seeming to have lasted much longer to her. "How much longer until we get to Higanbana?" She asked.

"About another day," Ren responded. As if reading Nora's mind he added "Don't worry, Nora. The others won't be upset with how long it takes." His words seemed to help soothe Nora.

"I'm just really excited! Maybe my excitement will draw all the Grimm away!" Nora bounced a bit, and Ren smiled a tiny bit.

"It surely won't draw them towards us." He responded softly. Nora nodded.

They descended into silence once more and Nora's mind drifted. They had passed through Shion a few days ago, but already it felt like months since she saw anyone besides Ren.

"Hey Ren?" Nora asked, desperate to fill the air with something other than the sounds of their footsteps. Her companion responded with a hum, signalling that he was listening. "Do you know anything about them? Y'know... The guys we're meeting?" She questioned.

Ren was silent, gathering his words as he usually did. "I've actually met Blake and Yang before. They're both quite pleasent people. If anything they're extremely close friends and have a deep understanding of one another." He told Nora.

"What about Ruby and Weiss?" She asked. Ren blinked, his eyes closing for almost a second longer than usual — anothed way he was collecting his words.

"I've yet to meet them." He admitted, "But if Blake trusts them enough to let anyone near Yang, than they'll be fine." He told Nora.

"Oh right! You said Blake gets really, really, really, territorial of Yang around people." Nora chimed, skipping for a few steps. Ren hummed and nodded.

"Indeed, remember to not make sudden moves around Yang and Blake." He informed her gently. Nora smiled and flashed a thumbs up.

"Gotcha!" She chirped. Ren smiled.

"Also, remember what else I told you about Blake and Yang?" He prompted. Nora's eyes lit up like a child told their birthday had come early.

"Oooh I remember! Blake's a faunus!" She declared triumphantly, Ren nodded.

"And what did I say alongside that peice of information?" He asked. Nora grinned, excited at knowing the answer to his questions.

"Oh! No cat puns! Or Yang gets upset and Blake gets catty." She immediatly slammed her palm against her forehead. "Crap! I'm sorry Ren, I forgot." She apologized.

Ren chuckled and took her hand away from her face, "You're alright. Blake is aware that you have virtually no filter, she won't bite your head off unless its intentionally racist." He told Nora, who breathed a sigh of relief before interlacing their fingers together as they walked.

"Are you sure you're alright with us meeting with Ren and Nora?" Yang asked.

Blake exhaled softly through her nose, ears flattening a bit. "Yes. I am. More importantly, are you alright with it all?" She asked.

Yang smiled gently, and only Blake's faunus ears heard servos whir gently as the prosthetic arm's fingers curled around her hand and the thumb rub the back of her hand. "I trust you with my life, Blake. I'll be fine with everything as long as you are." The blonde woman reassured her, scooting closer to the raven haired woman so that their hips just barely touched.

Blake blinked, gold eyes calm as ever as she offered Yang a small smile. "I'm glad you put all your faith in me, Yang. It means alot." She told her friend.

"Good! Because its true!" Yang chirped and let herself fall backwards onto the bed they were sitting on the edge of. Blake joined her with the sound of the mattress shifting and creaking slightly with the change of weight distribution on it. Blake's smile grew and Yang smiled herself.

"I know." Blake said, and added with a glance at Yang "Let's feed you now before everything in Anima knows that you're hungry." She told Yang.

The blonde chuckled, "Uh... yeah. It's lunch..." she smiled and reluctantly got up from the bed with Blake following close behind. They walked from the bedroom to the ajourning kitchen. At some point in time, Yang had realized that Blake was amazing at making one of her favorite meals of pasta, and Blake realized Yang coulf make a mean tuna sandwich to die for. So now Blake set about making Yang some pasta. Yang was getting out materials for a tuna sandwich.

"They're expected to be here tomorrow evening. Ren sent me a message a few days ago that they had just finished passing through Higanbana." Blake told Yang as the water was brought to a boil. Yang finished the sandwich and set it down on the island.

"Blake, is there some ulterior motive you have for bringing us all together?" Yang finally asked. Blake's ears rotated towards the blonde as she stirred in the pasta.

"You know I won't lie to you, Yang." Blake stated. Yang nodded, but resisted a frown.

"But you already know how I feel about the half-truths you slip me." Yang responded. Blake's ears wilted a bit as her stirring slowed. "I'm not upset with you, Blake. You know that I'll never be upset with you," She soothed "But I wish you would give me the full truth instead of hiding things." She finished and walked behind the noirette before taking her non-prosthetic arm and rubbing on on Blake's ears. The faunus woman took the spoon from the pot and let herself lean into Yang's touch.

"You know I don't want to hurt you." Blake practically mumbled, closing her eyes as Yang's other arm wrapped around her to pull her close.

"You won't. I promise it." Yang told her as Blake rested her head against the blonde's chest.

They stood like that, just drinking in the joy and affection that they shared. It felt like time stood still for the two whenever they were in eachother's arms. Unfortunatly it never really did, and the timer rang to bring both woman back to the present. "The pasta." Blake murmured and reluctantly broke away from Yang to use a spoon to grab two noodles. She gave one to the blonde and they both tested the noodles.

"Its perfect." Yang proclaimed not even a nanosecond after slurping her noodle down. Blake nodded in agreement and got the strainer to drain the pasta. As she poured the pot into the strainer, something hit the kitchen window that made the faunus jump. Scalding water hit her hand and she yelped in pain. "Blake!" Yang was there in an instant, taking the pot that still held water in it and placing it to the side before gently taking the injured hand in her non-prosthetic hand to examine it.

"Yang, its fine." Blake tried to soothe her. "Its not too bad, I promise." But Yang frowned and her eyebrows furrowed in obvious worry.

"But you're hurt." She stated, lavender eyes locking onto golden ones. Blake felt the instinct to withdraw her injured hand, but she fought past it. She knew Yang would never hurt her, and she trusted Yang. The blonde moved her other hand to the faucet and let it go on a gentle stream before moving their intertwined hands under the cold water. Blake flinched at the cold, and Yang moved closer to surround her in her natural body heat. "Feel better?" Yang asked. Blake nodded, her hand felt like it was numbing with the cold of the water.

Yang wrapped her mechanical arm around Blake's waist and drew her closer. Blake gave a small smile and let herself be drawn close to Yang. They once again stayed like that, and after a few more moments of it, Blake shut off the sink and moved their intwined hands out of the sink. The faunus reluctantly broke the contact between their hands and grabbed a towel before they seperated to dry their hands. "Thank you, Yang. For caring." Blake's smile grew by a small fraction. Yang looked at her and beamed with a smile that would put the sun to shame.

"Anything for you, Blakey." Yang told her. Blake put the towel aside and walked back towards the pasta, but Yang beat it to her. "No." She said with surprising force. "I'll do it." She stated and finished draining the pasta. Blake sat down at her seat and bit into her sandwich as Yang got her pasta to bring it to the island.

They ate in comfortable silence, taking their time and just enjoying the moments of silence. Yet in the silence there was a silent conversation held between the two of them. A conversation about their affection and how they loved one another.

A/N:

Welcome to Guided! I somewhat based this off of the Sentenial/Guide trope. But its actually not that much based off of it. I wanted to do basically a story with fluff and shipping and not too much angst (Maybe a bit).

The basic idea is that yes, Nora and Yang have a heightened sense. For Nora its smell and Yang its touch (uhhh... arm puns?) I plan on adding two more pairs to the group. Ruby and Weiss (Ruby has heightened sight) and Velvet and Coco (Hearing, obviously).

Not too much I want to say or I'll spoil too much. Review with questions and I'll answer them at the end of the next chaper.
