YEEHAW- FASTEST ONESHOT IN THE WEST!

"But I'm treated well. What's the problem?"

He sighed. "Every day, the Council treats you more like an adult- that's not the same as being treated well. They shouldn't be putting all this responsibility on you. You're just a kid, Ahsoka." There wasn't any mocking or derision in her master's tone. It was all respect in his voice. But the words angered her.

Ahsoka bristled. "I am not just a kid! Do you not remember the Huttling? Or the Battle of Pandra? Or that thing on Cato Neimoidia? Or that time I saved you from-"

Anakin shook his head. "Woah, woah, woah, Snips- I said, 'just' a kid, not 'only' a kid. I mean, you're fifteen years old and you're already one of the best I've ever seen. I'm proud to have you as my padawan. You're smart as a whip, brave as a borndark, a natural leader. Everybody from hell to Halath knows you can more than handle yourself out there."

"I'm also a commander," she reminded.

"That too," he said. "But you're also a kid, no matter how much you act otherwise. And you should be treated as such."

She shrugged, attitude softening. "But you don't treat me like a kid."

"Yes I do," he said. "But you seem to have this weird notion that being treated like a kid means being treated with less respect than an adult."

"Well… not everyone sees things the way you do."

Anakin looked at her, raising an eyebrow. "And what did I tell you about other people?"

"Kriff 'em." Ahsoka grinned.

"That's my girl."
