Hello, I apologize for the super late update, I have some reasons...

First, I'm a Moslem, I'm busy with Ramadhan and Eid, plus with my part-time job these months. Second, when I'm back from visiting relatives, my car got into an accident, but fortunately my family and I survived and were not seriously injured (well, my brother got a broken bone). Unfortunately, the accident made the laptop I carried crashed hard and damaged. So, well, all the data on my laptop is gone; my videos, paperwork, and my fanfictions! They're gone! *hiks*I was so sad, angry, and depressed...

But fortunately, I have a backup for some of them; on email or my friend's laptop. Unfortunately many of my fanfics didn't have a backup (remember to create one in the future!) and some chapters for the future update is gone too, so, yeah I must write them again...

New Assistant is one of the fics that I have backup in my friend (because she was always my first reader) so I update this fic as soon as possible. I have two (or one and half) more chapters for New Assistant, so this fic will be my first priority for now. I'll put my other stories HIATUS.

Last, I'll have a new story, it's KHR X Avengers (my first time do movies fanfiction). For the summary, you can read in my profile. It will be published sometime in this week.

New Assistant: The Stolen Trophies Case

"Thank you for purchase, sir. We will delivered them this evening."

Tsuna nodded as he came out of one of the stores, 'LABI Akibahara' on a busy street. He wears a white hoodie with long orange sleeves, blue pants, and white sneakers. The brunet approached Yuuta who was leaning against the shop window. The other teen rather short blonde hair with bangs in front cover his eyebrows while the back covers his neck and has a hairpin on the right side of his hair. He has light blue eyes and a rather cute and innocent face. He wears a light pink shirt with a white belt around his waist and short, blue skirt, beige, leg warmers and also brown heels.

And what are Tsuna and Yuuta doing in that store? More important, Akiba?

Well, Tsuna need to buy a few things to fill his new apartment. (will be included in future chapter~) And because Akiba is famous for its many electronics shops and other shops, Tsuna decided to come there with Yuuta who need some new software.

"Kei-kun is the lead suspect in a theft case?!"

Tsuna stopped when he heard that yell. The brunet glance toward Yuuta who was speaking on the phone. Who was he talking to? His Hyper Intuition told him that it was the certain Inspector. Wait a minute... 'Kei-kun was a suspect?'

A few seconds of silence, the blonde let the other person on the phone to talk. "...Tsuna-kun?" Yuuta looked at the brunet who approaching him, "Yes, he's with me, why?"

"..."

"How's that?"

"..."

"...and sensei?"

"..."

"Tch, baka-inspector." the blonde muttered before ended the call.

"What's wrong, Yuuta-kun?" asked Tsuna as the blonde just shrugged,

"Somehow Kei-kun got caught with a case where he's become one of the suspects. That baka-inspector told us to see the situation in there since he's away from Tokyo at the moment."

"Is he alright? Where's Kei-kun right now?"

"His school."

"Huh? What is he doing in the school on the Sunday?"

"Kei-kun has lack of attendance because he often skip his school to work at Sensei's. So, he attended 'Sunday Remedial Class' with some of other students."

"...and Inaba-san?" Tsuna repeat the blonde's question earlier.

"He has been called half a hour earlier to ahead us, but sensei never came."

"Don't tell me..." Tsuna trailed off.

The blonde just sighed. "Call him up."

So in the end, Tsuna call Hiroshi's number and only by third ring, the older man answered. "Tsuna?"

"Inaba-san? You got lost, didn't you?" the brunet asked in a deadpan tone.

"You're good, Tsuna! I couldn't figure out where to change my train... or where I supposed to get on in the first place... and then I realized I didn't even know where Kei's school was..."

"Do you have a map?"

"I've got a globe..." Yuuta who overheard that, only sweat-dropped.

"... where are you now?"

"Home."

"Your homing instinct is good, Sensei..." muttered Yuuta.

"Take Oedo Line from Shiodome Station, get out at Azabujuban Station and walk to Kei-kun's school from there."

"...can you repeat that, Tsuna?"

Tsuna sighed, "Inaba-san, jut call a taxi to go to there. Remember; Azabu High School."

"It's still surprise me that Kei-kun goes to Azabu High School." It's not insult or anything like that, but Tsuna heard from Kei himself about his family's economic situations and Azabu is one of elites school in Tokyo, so yeah... most people who study there is from the 'rich' population.

"Ah, Kei-kun got a scholarship since he entered high school if he was able to enter the top 10 every semester." answered Yuuta, "He's quite smart if he want.."

After ride a train and some walking, finally Tsuna and Yuuta be able to get to Kei's school.

The towering gate was made of white brick. The black iron fences were also of elaborate design. The big school building inside was not old but it had a retro design. Much money had gone into every aspect of the building, as was typical of an affluent private school. The school is located in the Azabu district (the origin of the school name) which is an area in the Minato Ward.

Azabu Junior and Senior High School, a private preparatory day school and one of the member of The Three Houses for Boys in Japan. Azabu teaches boys between seventh and twelves grades and admits 300 students each year and there are over 100 teachers and about 1,800 students in total at a given time. Azabu High school was a prominent high school focused on preparing students for university. This school is for gifted students who are excellent in many areas of studies.

Because it's Sunday, the school is very quite and nobody at the school yard, beside two men (the police's officer) at the entrance who greeted and allowed the teens to enter. One of the officer even escorted them, the brown haired man is one of Ogi's subordinate and heard of their arrival from his boss.

On the way, the officer gave a brief explanation of the case. "There was a robbery in school. Six trophies were stolen from the display case at the visitor room. One of the teacher who came to monitor the remedial class, accidentally saw the door of the visitor room open. When he entered, he saw a broken glass case and several trophies had been gone. And then the police were contacted immediately by him. The surveillance cameras were shut down temporarily for some reasons, we the police concluded the perpetrator snuck in, broke the case lock, and stole the trophies early this morning.

"Why do they want to steal the trophies?" asked Yuuta.

That was a good question. Why the trophies and not a computer or other like that?

"It seems like some parts of the trophy are made with the pure gold. So if anyone sell those.. they will be rich." the officer said, looking tor the files he bought.

Huh, how rich is this school? Tsuna mussed. "How many suspects are there?"

"Six people; five are students who attending Sunday Remedial Class and their teacher who be responsible in that class."

And Kei-kun is one of them...

Arriving in the room that looked like a students council's room, they were both opened the door and went inside.

When they came in, what they see is a big room with seven people in there. Three people sat on the chairs in front of the big oval table, one's writing something on the paper, and other two were having some conversation. One person's standing in front of the bookshelf, looking at the collection books. One person's standing in near the window, looking bored while staring outside. All five of them are teenagers who wear the school uniform (black pants, white undershirts, and black blazer with different color ties); the students. And the last two are the adult, one's sorting some papers on the sofa at the corner of room, and the other one's talking on the phone not far from the bookshelf.

The person who first realized their arrival was Kei himself. The black haired teen stopped his conversation with the redhead teen and turned toward them, "Tsuna-kun? Yuuta-kun? What are you doing here?!" and because of that yell, the rest people in the room also shifted their attention to the newcomers.

One of the adult, who had been sorting some papers paused, "Kemnochi, who are they? I have said not to let anyone enter this school."

"Didn't you remembered, Iwasaki? Inspector Ogino had already talked about them earlier." said Kenmochi, the officer who led them.

Iwasaki, the black haired officer just blinked, "Oh, the brats who always hang around the boss." he stood up and approached them, "Inspector Ogino told me to allow you help us." he whispered in the last sentence and handed a few papers to Tsuna. Its the files that contain data about the 'suspects'.

"Excuse me, officer-san." said an adult who had been talking on the phone. "Who are these two children? If I am not mistaken they are not students in this school." The adult or a young man more precisely, had a long white hair that tied up into a ponytail, silver eyes and had a red scar (or a tattoo?) running through his left eye. He was wearing tight black pants, a white dress shirt, a red ribbon around his neck, black gloves, and a long tan coat.

"They are friends of one of them." answered officer Iwasaki as he pointed the students. "They came here because worry about him." then he ushered them both to sit on an empty seats, but only Yuuta sat down, on the Kei's left. Tsuna just stood near the police, still focused on reading the files.

"Is it really okay if you are here?" a voice asked suddenly, making Tsuna blink and look at the white haired man. "You have a school tomorrow, right?"

Allen Walker, 28 year old. The English teacher and an advisor of the Music club, he is also responsible for the Sunday Remedial Class. As their teacher, he is the first person who came to the school on the morning.

"Yuuta-kun is home schooled and I'm in vacation right now." said Tsuna, hiding the files from the teacher. "So it's alright."

This time it was the white haired teacher who blinked, "The Winter Holiday is over last month."

Realizing what the other meant, Tsuna said rather embarrassed "Umm, I mean not school holidays... I'm attending University of Siena."

Silence meets that statement...

One of the teens who overheard it, stopped his writing "Amazing! You're an university student?" he said loudly, once again caught everyone attention. The teen has unruly, orange hair and brown eyes. His relatively thin build and short stature, the shortest among of the other students. "You're only bit higher than me, how old you?!"

Hinata Shoyo (grade 10), an Ace player of Azabu High School volleyball team and candidate for national volleyball team (he also receive a scholarship because of that). The reason for he was taking a remedial class because he's falling grades for almost all the subject. Hinata is the third person who arrived in the school, and one of the stolen trophies is from his volleyball team.

"I'm 17, but I skipped a few grades and graduated last year."

"Wow, amazing friend that you have, Kei-chan." the teen on Kei's right said. He has pale skin, short red hair, and pale sharp eyes with mercury color. He has a slender build and has also been shown to have exceptionally sharp canine teeth.

Akabane Karma (grade 12), the Student Council's treasurer of Azabu High School. Even though he was quite smart and athletic, the reason he took a remedial class was because he lack of credit due to skips (never attended) some subject. He's the last person who arrived in the school.

Kei just shook his head, "Actually, Karma-senpai. I myself didn't know about that." He exchanged glances with Yuuta, who was equally surprised as the black-haired teen. Geez, Tsuna rarely tells them about himself. Just how many things did the brunet hide?

Nozaki Kei (grade 11), a scholarship student who's taking a remedial class just because he lack of attendance and didn't join any club due to spending too much time in part-time job. (Tsuna: Why Kei-kun?) Kei's the fourth person who arrived in the school, almost at the same time as Hinata who met him at the bathroom.

"But where's University of Siene?" asked a teen near the bookshelf. He's pale and thin compared to others, have soft yellow eyes and cream-coloured hair that is slightly curled at the ends with slightly curled to the left.

Nayuki Toru (grade 10), the second son in Nayuki family, the famous multi-millionaire family in Japan. Because he physically frail and delicate from staying indoor most of his life, he used to miss school a lot because he got sick all the time, that make him lack of attendance and must attend the remedial class. He's the second person who arrived in the school, meet Allen-sensei to discussed about the music club which he joined.

"It's in *yawn* Italy." answered the last teen with a yawn. He has narrow brown eyes and shoulder length black hair tied in a spiky ponytail. He also has a typical expression suggesting he is either bored or irritated. "It's one of the well-known university in there."

Nara Shikamaru (grade 12), with the highest IQ and the best grades ever since the school was founded, he's known as Azabu's prodigy. He was transferred to Azabu in his second year. The only reason for taking remedial class, because the lack of attendance due to truancy/laziness, he often to skip the school. He's the fifth person who arrived in the school, actually he want to skip, but he already found out by Karma who able dragged him back.

A few minutes later, Tsuna had finished reading the info about all the suspects. There was nothing strange about that info itself, but the thing that stood out was...

"So, Tsunayoshi-kun, what's your idea? This case, do you think it's an ordinary robbery?" whispered Iwasaki as he saw the serious expression on the teen's face.

"Let me give you a hint, Iwasaki-san." Tsuna whispered back, "First, specify the time it occurred; the time range when the suspect accessed the security and shut down the surveillance cameras. If the suspect is an outsider, it will happened at midnight and not in the morning. Because it's easier to cover up if someone comes across the suspect."

"So, the suspect is really an insider? Between them?"

"Second..." Tsuna continued before paused, he felt that his Intuition warn him about something. The brunet thought for a moment and frowned, then when the brunet open his mouth again to answer the officer, all of sudden one of the students, Hinata shouted, "Nara-senpai, Get down!" and he tackled Shikamaru as the window behind him shattered. The not-so-innocent ball was lying near them.

"Hinata?!"

"Nara-san?!"

"How did it shatter?"

The others quickly approached them, "Are you two okay?" asked Allen sensei. Some broken glass hit the two teens, but both of them not injured much.

"I'm okay!" said the orange haired teen, "You alright, Nara-senpai?"

"Ugh... yeah." the said black haired teen grumbled as the both of them began to stood up, "Thank you Hinata."

"But, why can a soccer ball fly here?" asked Nayuki as he picked the dirty ball.

Everyone focused their attention at the ball, all but two.

Tsuna who still felt his Intuition pierced and Akabane Karma who feel he hears something from afar. Two of them narrowed their eyes to the broken window and looked at something outside.

There, just a few meters from where they were, something- or someone was watching them from the tree. When their gazes met each other, that person quickly ran away.

"Hey, wait a minute!" in reflect, Karma immediately left the room through the (broken) window and chased the suspicious person.

The others were very surprised by the sudden shout and saw the redhead teen who had run outside.

"Karma-san?!"

"Eh what happen?!"

"Akabane!" yelled Iwasaki, "Where are you going?!"

Tsuna, the only one who knew what had happened, quickly notify the older man. "Iwasaki-san, there was someone suspicious outside and Akabane-san chased that person."

"WHAT?!"

Officer Iwasaki and Kenmochi quickly ran after Karma and the suspicious person, somehow Hinata also ran after them (he's fast!). Allen-sensei escorted Shikamaru to the clinic to clean his injuries with Nayuki in the tow. Kei and Yuuta stayed in the student council's room to wait all of them. And Tsuna? He went to the crime scene (the visitor office) to gather more clue about the case.

Ten minutes later, Allen-sensei and Nayuki came back to the student council's room. Then, the two officers, Karma, and Hinata also came back for minutes later, saying that they lost the suspicious person. They're waiting Shikamaru (who still not back from the bathroom) and Tsuna in the silence.

"I wonder what happen to Nara-senpai..." mumbled Hinata. "Maybe he has a stomachache?"

"He's not you." smirked Karma.

"...or maybe he was kidnapped by the suspect." Tsuna said as he enter the room with a serious face.

"Whaatt?!" the rest of them shouted.

"What do you mean, Tsunayoshi-kun?" asked officer Iwasaki.

The brunet turned his head to the black haired officer, "Iwasaki-san, do you realize something after saw the files about the trophies?"

"Eh?"

"The culprit didn't randomly steal the trophies, but they carefully chose what to steal." Tsuna said as he show a certain file,

The six stolen trophies:

Azabu Voleyball's Team, 1st place at the Volleyball Fall Tournamet

Minato Narumiya, 1st place at the archery tournament.

Nara Shikamaru's, 1st place' trophies; the Computing Contests, the Chess Tournament, the Abacus contest, and the Shougi tournament.

"The last four trophies are Nara-san's, if the suspect is obsessed with him. The suspect stole all the 1st place trophies because they obsessed with '1st place'." Tsuna paused for the moment to let the older man absorb the information. "So, if my theory is right, if the suspect holds a personal grudge against Nara-san..."

"...then the suspect has made a move." finished Iwasaki.

"Who- who's the culprit?"

"Yeah! It's not us, right?!"

"*gaps* it's that suspicious person?!"

Tsuna nodded as he show his phone, "Look at this picture."

It was the photo of the crime scene, more precisely the photo of trophies display case. "Except for one, there is one 1st place trophy left behind. The suspect didn't take the last 1st place trophy, why's that? They have a strong desire to show off his talent and didn't want to remove his glorious trophy." the brunet zoom out the photo of certain trophies, it shows a name.

Uchiha Sasuke, 1st place at the Mathematics Contest.

Nara Shikamaru was having a bad day.

First, he must go to school in the Sunday (where he was planing to sleep all of day) just because he have lack of attendance (so what if he only goes two or three times/week? He still have a good grade after all). He also missed to skip out because of certain redhead.

Then, a robbery happen and he become one of the suspect of the case. Gezz, why does he want to steal the trophies anyway?

And last, not only he was hit by broken glass, someone also 'kidnapped' him when he out the bathroom.

So here he is, sitting on the cold floor with his hands tied while staring at someone in the shadow; his suppose kidnapper.
The person stepped forward showing a teenager in school uniform, he has black eyes and spiky black hair that hung over his face as bangs. "Well, well, look who's this? How are you? Mr. genius, Nara Shikamaru." he smirked.

"Uchiha..." Shikamaru gritted his teeth. "What do you want?"

"You know, I always hate you." the other teen frowned, "I was in the limelight when I entered this school because I had an IQ of 180, I was even offered scholarships by many high schools. But then, you came to our school... All the high schools lost interest in me because of you, Mr. prodigy with an IQ of 270 stole the show. Nobody cares about me anymore..." Sasuke stepped forward until he was in front of Shikamaru. "You probably know what this is, don't you?" he asked, holding a bottle.

'Potassium Sulfate..?!' Shikamaru thought.

"I found it in this chemistry lab. Let's see.. what should I do with this?" said Sasuke with a cruel smirk as he opened the bottle. "I was going to destroy all of your trophies, the proof of your existence. I didn't expect to be given a chance to destroy you personally like this." he was about to spill what is in the bottle, when all of sudden the door behind him opened violently and forcefully.

"Found You!" grinned the certain redhead.

The rest of remedial class (minus Hinata), Allen-sensei, two police's officer, and Tsuna stood outside the room.

In the surprise, Sasuke dropped the bottle he was holding and spilled the inside a few inches from Shikamaru. He stared at them frantically, "How did you know?!"

"We already know that you are the culprit who stole the trophy and kidnapped Nara-san. The question is where are you hiding, given that the police guard the gate, that means you are still in school, Uchiha-san. We don't have much time to search one by one every room." explained Tsuna.

"And who the heck are you!" snarled Sasuke but the brunet only continued his explanation.

"We have two people (Hinata and Yuuta) outside the school. The chemistry lab you're in, no one should be using it because it's Sunday. But the curtain are closed."

"?!"

The white haired teacher stepped in, "All classroom curtains are drawn back every morning by the teacher on duty, it mean me. It's obvious from outside."

"This morning when we came to school, we definitely saw the curtains tied back." added Kei.

"I didn't expect you to do this, senpai." said Nayuki.

"Sasuke! As the son of Uchiha, aren't you ashamed of yourself?! Not only you fail to get the first place, you also getting such grades... I don't remember bringing you up like this!"

"You're nothing like your brother!"

"Hey, I heard that the test result from the other day were posted up... Ah, I knew it first place is the same name."

"He's not human, that Nara. Getting all hundred points like that..."

"He often to sleep in the class, you know. What does of brain does he have?"

"Shut up! Ichii-nen (1-year)! You don't know anything!" Sasuke shouted, getting angry by the flashback. "Even though I've worked so hard, why is it that I still can't do what you can?!" he turned back to Shikamaru. "You don't put any effort into it, yet you still accomplish everything easily. Moreover, you always look cool about it, as if it's only natural! Nara...! You piss me of!" Sasuke pulled out a knife from his pocket and lunges at Shikamaru. Fortunately, three things happen in the seconds. Tsuna shout's 'Watch Out!', Shikamaru rolled out the way in time, Iwasaki and Kenmonchi had detained Sasuke on the ground.

In the end the case is closed. Sasuke was taken to the police station for further information. He was expelled from the school and will go to the youth centre for time being. As expected, Sasuke's motive was due to jealously. That and the pressure from his family is also another factor. It looks like their relationship is on good terms. Really, jealously is scary thing and weak emotion, people can do anything because of them.

The Sunday Remedial Class was cancelled, and the other students plus their sensei have go home after some questions from the polices.

Tsuna, Kei, and Yuuta also go back to the office, accepting the offer to drive them there from officer Kenmochi.

"In the end, Inaba-san didn't come," said Kei.

"Where's he by the way?" Tsuna looked around the office, not see the redhead anywhere. At the moment he got a message from the familiar Inspector.

"EH?!"

"What's wrong Tsuna-kun?" - Yuuta

"Inaba-san... He's with Ogi-san at the moment." - Tsuna

"..." - Yuuta

"Wait... Ogi-san is in Gunma, right?" - Kei

"...yeah." - Tsuna

"So how...?" - Kei

"Don't ask." - Yuuta

Really, I'm rushed in the last parts, I'm sorry...
