Nathan
I need to help Alyssa. I need to teach her stuff. I will start as soon as possible. Also, wow. Haymitch is our mentor. We actually have a chance of making it out of this alive.
"This is the advice I gave to Katniss and Peeta",he says,"stay alive."
"You can't be serious". Alyssa laughs
"Deadly" , he replies.
Peeta
I'm in room four with a girl called Clary and a boy called Henry. Clary can punch pretty good and she can beat me in a fight. Henry was brought up fighting so he's in pretty good shape and in a position to make some good allies. This is going to be very interesting. Very interesting indeed. I remember me, Katniss and Haymitch training for the quarter quell. Before we knew about the plan to break us out of the arena.
"Are you alright?", Clary says
"Yes, I'm fine" I replied.
We hear the train pull up in the station and we leave the room, walk down the corridor and board the train. I see haymitch and he sees me and slows down to wait for us. We see Katniss as well. The six of us wait for the three of them and they jog over. The 6 children start to chat and we all hug, say hi, and i kiss Katniss and she says
"Who have you got?"
"A girl called Clary and a boy called Henry. You?"
"Emma and George. Guess who Emma's dad is."
"Who?" Haymitch says
"Seneca crane." she says gravely
Katniss
"Who have you got?" i ask Haymitch
"Alyssa and Nathan."
"what , snow's granddaughter. How old is she?" Peeta gasps.
"Fifteen" i say. I met her when I was called back here to mentor. Suddenly I'm glad the children are still back in district twelve with hazelle. A little girl of about twelve runs up to me. She has plaits and a broken arm. peace keepers try to pull her back but i stop them. She holds out a pen and asks me to sign her cast. I do. Because she reminds me so much of Prim. My poor sister.
"She looks Prim," Peeta says and puts his arm around my shoulder and hugs me tight. I turn into his shoulder and cry a bit. The children we are supposed to be mentoring call us over as train doors give the warning that they are about to close. We run on and make it just in time. Cheers erupt as the train pulls away and I can't take my eyes away from the little girl. A picture of pure happiness is painted on her face as she excitedly shows her friends her signed cast. We walk along the train to our separate carriages and say goodbye to each other. let the games begin.
