Aegon had used the excuse of King Argilac insult to his friend and supposed bastard brother, Orys Baratheon, as his casus belli for his war of conquest. He had sent ravens to all Eight Kings of Westeros carrying his message of war and claim to the throne.

It is said that King Torrhen Stark and King Tristifer Mudd laughed so hard when they first read the letter, that they both nearly fainted due to a lack of breath. While King Mern Gardener and King Loren Lannister are said to have blustered in anger, for a mere foreigner to threaten them. King Steffon Darklyn said to have just ignored the letter from Aegon, refusing to even acknowledge it. Regent Queen Sharra Arryn said to have sent a marriage proposal, which Aegon ignored. Queen Meria Martell sent a raven back to Dragonlord Aegon, proposing an alliance against the Storm King Argilac but refused to bend the knee. Once again Aegon promptly ignored the letter.

Aegon's forces landed on Blackwater Bay and started the construction of Aegonfort. This was to be the base of House Targaryen in their war for the continent, due to its favourable location and lack of occupation. Within a moon, House Darklyn was aware of their invasion and raised their levies.

A force of 7000 men, led by King Steffon's son Prince Hoster, moved to the construction site of Aegonfort. Having predicted such a response, Aegon rode atop Belerion with Orys leading the ground force. This would be the first recorded battle with the addition of a dragon in Westeros. Suffice it to say, the attacking force was reduced to a mere 1000 men, with Prince Hoster being burnt to a crisp.

Aegon, Visenya, and Rhaenys then flew to the gates of the mighty Duskendale and sent an envoy calling for King Steffon to parley.

When King Steffon approach the temporary tent that was set up, he asked "The fuck do you want, Valyrian?"

"Bend the knee or watch your entire family line be destroyed through fire and blood."

"Why should I do that, I have the bigger Kingdom. I have more men than you. I have the greatest castle ever built, Duskendale, with the highest towers in the civilized world, the thickest wall, and most powerful defences. I have enough supplies to last a year-long siege. Why should I bend the knee?"

"I thought the greatest castle ever built was Winterfell. It is far older, more powerful, lined with magical runes, and much much grander."

"Please those are just filthy rumors made by the fucking Starks to make themselves grander. Everybody knows that they are nothing more than mere barbarians."

"Doubtful. Either way, my dragon shall burn down your entire castle if you don't yield. This is your last chance"

"Fuck you, you cunt. I will let this insult lie if you give me your beautiful sister as my bride." said King Steffron lecherously looking at Rhaenys.

King Aegon's eyes flashed red with anger and he quickly shot up and snarled "When the sun sets, your line shall end."

Within an hour, the sun began to set and the siblings sat upon the mighty beasts.

He turned to Rhaenys and said "Be careful my love. I would hate to see you get hurt."

With that Balerion flapped its mighty wings and flew into the air. Rhaenys smirked towards Visenya, looking proud and smug before shooting to the sky with a mighty flap of Meraxes' powerful wing. Visenya quickly followed and flew towards Duskendale.

As they neared Duskendale, Balerion stopped in front of the tallest tower and with a powerful breath, Balerion, roared black fire and death upon the mighty castle. Arrows were falling short and the garrison could only look dumbfounded at the primordial creatures. The fire was as black as his scales, but it was still as bright in a strange juxtaposition. The tower walls started to melt and Vhagar and Meraxe joined Belarion's flame with their own dragonfire.

That night, in the lands near Duskendale, the light only truly faded 2 hours later and with the cooling wrekt, House Darklyn and Duskendale was nothing more than history, with Balerion gaining his infamous name, the Black Dread.

Within the moon, all of the lords of the Claw bent the knee to House Targaryen. Queen Visenya crowned Aegon as the Dragonking Aegon Targaryen, the First of His Name, King of All Westeros, and the Shield of His People. In his first decree as the king, he had renamed the Kingdom of the Claw to the Crownlands with Aegonfort as his capital.

Then Orys and Queen Rhaenys went to secure the Stormlands as it was previously planned. While Dragonking Aegon and Queen Visenya oversaw the newfounded Kingdom and Aegonfort.

King Mern and King Loren were worried. They had been angry at first at the audacity of the Dragonking Aegon, but now they realized that there was a reason for his confidence. So King Mern and King Loren put aside their House's aggressions and arguments and allied together to fight Aegon. They would have invited Regent Queen Sharra but they knew that it would be pointless. She was famous for her inaction or as she likes to put it, neutrality. Instead, King Loren invited King Torrhen, King Tristifer, Princess Meria, and King Argilac, to join them in destroying House Targaryen.

He had received a letter from King Torrhen, King Tristifer, and Princess Meria of their refusal as they had expected. However, King Loren was surprised he never received a letter from King Argilac. Not having enough time to dwell upon it, King Loren and King Mern went through with merging their armies like they had done against House Stark. The gold of House Lannister and the numerous men of House Gardener made a lethal combo.

Orys Baratheon and Queen Rhaenys had made their way to Storm's End. The stronghold of House Durrandon. It is said that Storm's End had only ever fallen once and that was against King Theon "the Hungry Wolf", who is hailed one of the most brilliant commanders in history.

However, the Targaryens had a very unfair advantage known as the dragons and a grand castle alone could not stand against the fires of the Dragons, proven by the destruction of Duskendale.

During their travels to Storm's End, they were attacked by many bannerman of House Durrandon. Lords Errol, Fell and Buckler, surprised the advance vanguard of Orys's host as they were crossing the Wendwater, cutting down more than a thousand men before retreating back into the trees. Rhaenys was furious at her first "loss" in the war. Refusing to let such a mistake stand, Rhaenys unleashed Meraxes and with a massive blast of fire, set a large portion of forest ablaze, killing Lord Errol, and injuring Lord Fell and Lord Buckler. This will unknowingly have major consequences later for House Targaryen.

The defeat of House Darklyn and the march of the Targaryens against House Durrandon had reached King Argilac's ears and he rode forth to meet his foes in the field, with the fury of House Durrandon behind him.

But King Argilac would not have the element of surprise. Queen Rhaenys refused to make the same mistake and ordered a few of her men to scout ahead. When a scout came back, warning of a 35,000 strong men approaching, Orys Baratheon ordered spikes of wood to be put into the ground facing outwards borrowing the first First Men tactics to fortify their strong position on a hill south of the Bronzegate.

Within three days since the Targaryen army had set up camp, a massive thunderstorm hit with the arrival of the Durrandon army. As soon as they were within range, Orys ordered the men to fire their arrows. The first wave of cavalry was broken by the arrows, but the second wave struck the wood stakes guarding the center. The cavalry quickly retreated running away and forming another group. The third wave hit and mostly destroyed the wooden stakes allowing for the final fourth wave to break through the center.

The Stormlanders screamed bloody murder and charged forward. The archers never stopped firing down upon the charging men. Lightning struck cracked overhead preventing Meraxes from taking flight, and the rain beat down upon both sides. With the massive clash between men, the Storm King and his personal guards broke through the center and charged at Orys. Orys charged right back at King Argilac roaring a battle cry. Orys crouched down low and tacked him away. The personal guard tried to protect their downed King but Queen Rhaenys stepped in with Meraxes. The men looked at one another before looking at the dragon, knowing this was their end. The silver dragon opened its mouth wide open, baring its teeth which looked very sharp. In the back of the Meraxes' throat you could see the fire building up the split second before it turned the five men into crisps of burnt bones, melted armour, and fiery flesh.

Argilac quickly stood up and dodged Meraxes while it was focused on his personal guard and charged at Orys. Orys and Argilac dueled atop the hill with the storm reaching its peak. Lightning lit the dark battlefield, illuminating their deadly dance. Orys wielded a greatsword, while Argilac wielded a massive warhammer. The two clashed over and over again until the very climax of the storm. The battle paused to witness this fantastical duel. Orys sidestepped to dodge Argilac's swing, before retaliating with a slash of his own. Both fighters showed great skill and were very evenly matched, even though Argilac was Orys' senior by 20 years. Both were panting very hard 10 minutes into the fight, each sporting numerous amounts of serious and superficial injuries. In the end, Argilac's age caught up to him. The storm ended and Orys swung his greatsword. slashing across Argilac's chest. The blade just sliced through the plate armor and sent Argilac spinning into the ground, his crown went flying off before rolling to a stop.

Orys stood proudly above Argilac and said "Yield!"

"Ha, do you truly think I will yield to a fucking foreigner like you!? My ancestors would roll in their grave. Fuck you and your entire family, may your blood be forever cursed with strife."

"Very well." with that Orys shoved his greatsword into Storm King Argilac's chest and killed him.

The Targaryen men raised their sword in a cheer, whilst the army of the Storm King threw down their weapons. This battle would go on to be known as the Battle of the Last Storm as a homage to the death of the last Storm King.

Orys Baratheon and his forces reached the gates of Storm's End within 2 weeks. Orys was perfectly willing to starve the remaining resistance from Arelice Baratheon. By the end of the fortnite, the gates opened and 5 guards walked out carrying a naked and bound Arelice Durrandon.

The guards dumped her to the floor and said "I have brought you Arelice Durrandon! I will give her to you in return for a reward."

Orys instead of looking proud and smug, quickly moved over to the guard and hit him with a cross straight into the jaw. The guard crumpled to the ground and the other 4 were forced to yield by the more numerous force of the Targaryens.

He commanded his guards to have the men imprisoned after saying "How dare you betray your queen like this. It is your duty to die for her, not betray her, you fucking worms."

He then quickly undid the bounds and covered her with his cloak. He then quickly carried her to his tent, only stopping to command someone to find her some suitable clothing.

He would spend the entire night with her, just talking to her and getting closer to her. They would later marry and Orys would take on the banners and words of House Durrandon to honor his wife and secure his rule over the Stormlands. Orys surprised the Stormlords when he began to order his men to collect the blades of the fallen and send them to Aegonfort. However, it didn't affect them negatively so no lords complained.

King Loren watched as his men trained with the sellswords company that he had hired. The Blood Company was reeling from the failed attack against House Frost and by extension House Stark, and therefore couldn't afford to take this job, so House Lannister once again hired the Second sons. There was a force of 75000 Gardener men gathered by the Goldengrove and were planning on moving north in a week's time to join with his force of 35000.

Visenya during this time was fighting the Arryns. She had led the Targaryen navy to cripple the Arryn's navy and threaten Gulltown. The plan was a very simple one. They would use their small numbers as their advantage, baiting the Arryns to attack them and have Vhagar take flight and burn down the entire enemy navy. This would weaken the Arryns significantly and force them to comply with House Targaryen, giving them enough time to strengthen their rule.

The plan went off without a hitch. The smaller Targaryen navy was attacked by the larger Arryn fleet. When they were attacked, Vhagar rose from Dragonwave, the flagship of House Targaryen, and burned the entire Arryn navy. The destruction of the Arryn fleet trapped them in the Vale unless they wanted to move their force into the Riverlands. But before Visenya could take advantage of this opening, she had to leave and stop all attacks on the Vale, to go down to the fight the Lannister and Gardener threat, who had assembled much faster then House Targaryen had predicted.

The Lannister and Gardener army had made it up to the plains by Blackwater Rush before locating the Targaryens. The enemy force had only a tenth of their size, but the three dragons had more than made up for it. All of the men had heard of the ruins of Duskendale and their morale was at an all time low when seeing the dragons in flight.

The Targaryens quickly got into the crescent moon shaped formation, but the smaller numbers wouldn't last against the far superior numbers. King Mern had control of the center as he had contributed the most men with his sons and leading the vanguard. King Loren had taken the command for the right wing with Lord Oakenheart leading the left. They looked to destroy the Targaryen forces quickly, before being burnt by the dragons, charged immediately.

The Targaryens had good formations, but that alone could not match the sheer size of the opposing army. So after the first wave, their formation was already breaking. However, as the alliance charged in with the second wave breaking the Targaryen spear lines, Balerion with Vhagar and Meraxes roared into the sky and breathed their dragonfire down upon the defenceless men, burning and killing hundreds of men in a single fly by. The horse of the alliance cavalry began to panic and buck off their riders and the infantry could not stand and watch as their fellow soldiers were burned alive, leading to the panic spread like wildfire. Their situation became even more dire, as the downwind spread the dragonfire towards the alliance forces trapping them in a fiery hell.

The dragons killed 50,000 men of the combined Lannister and Gardener army, among them King Mern and his sons, grandsons, brothers, cousins, and other kin. The knights of the Order of the Green Hand were completely wiped out, as the hundred of the most skilled Reach Knights were burned to a crisp in the center, not even given an opportunity to show off their famed skill. House Manderly had the choice of continuing the order themselves, as many members of House Manderly were once a part of the order. But House Manderly decided not to rebuild the order as there were no knights in the North and after 6000 years, they had become fully Northern.

Another thousand men perished from swords, spears, and arrows, while 10,000 men suffered severe burns which would be fatal after a few agonizing days. In sharp contrast, of the 10,000 Targaryen forces, less than 900 were lost and the only major figure injured was Visenya, who received an unlucky cut to the shoulder by an arrow. Only one nephew of King Mern survived the battle but he died of his burns three days later. With his death, House Gardener, one of the three oldest Great Houses of the known world died out, leaving only their legacy behind. The battle would forever gain its infamy as the Field of Fire.

Aegon had detained King Loren Lannister, as he rode out of the burning wreck that was the army of 100,000 of the alliance forces. Aegon's men threw the bound Loren to the ground, forcing Loren to kiss the ground.

Aegon stood proudly over him and said "If you bend the knee now and give me your crown, I will forgive all offenses and name you the Lord Paramount of the Westerlands and the Warden of the West. This will be the last time this offer shall be made to your house. I hear House Reyne is quite the powerful house. Maybe I should make this offer to Lord Reyne instead of you."

King Loren couldn't kneel quick enough while handing his crown.

With gritted teeth and seething rage and said "I, King Loren Lannister, sixth of my name, King of the Westerlands, King of the Rock, and Shield of Lannisport, hereby swear myself to Dragonking Aegon Targaryen, first of his name, King of All Westeros and the Shield of His People. May he forever be fair."

King Aegon said "I accept you oaths. I, Dragonking Aegon of the House Targaryen, first of my name, King of All Westeros and the Shield of his People strip you of your Kingship. In return, I name you Lord Paramount of the Westerlands and Warden of the West. May you be forever fair."

Aegon's men began to collect all of the fallen swords of his enemies and began to ship them up the Mander and towards Aegonfort. Lord Loren was surprised at this wondering what use such broken, melted, and burnt weapons would be to King Aegon.

With control over the Westerlands and the decimation of the majority of the Gardener forces, King Aegon had marched towards Highgarden and Harlen Tyrell, the castellan of Highgarden and masterly House of House Gardener, handed it over without any struggle. In return, House Tyrell was made the Great House of the Reach, and Lord Harlen became the Lord Paramount of the Reach and Warden of the South. This slight angered many Reach lords, particularly House Florent, House Hightower, and House Tarly, the three oldest and strongest houses of the Reach. These Houses seethed in rage for having to serve a mere masterly house, but Balerion ended all thoughts of rebellion.

With the induction of the Stormlands, Westerlands, and the Reach, House Targaryen was at a much better standing. Aegon ordered Visenya to go to the Arryn's and secure their allegiance while he prepared for the invasion of the Riverlands.

Visenya was able to secure the Vales' allegiance easily. Although many people liked to call her cold, she was actually really good with children and hated to lose the men under her command. So when she heard about the fortification of the Vale, by Regent Queen Sharra, she decided not to waste any men and flew straight to the Eyrie. Luckily Regent Queen Sharra commanded her forces to not assemble and strike against the Crownlands while they were wide open due to her belief in the security of the Vale.

She landed in the courtyard, and made their way to the throne room. There, she saw Regent Queen Sharra and King Ronnel Arryn. She gained the allegiance of the Arryns by flying Ronnel atop Vhagar. Ronnel fell in love with the act of flying and came to adore Visenya, and Visenya began to see Ronnel as her own child. When Ronnel landed, Regent Queen Sharra handed Ronnel's crown to Visenya and Ronnel became the Lord Paramount of the Vale and the Warden of the East. Visenya before leaving the Vale, commanded Lady Sharra to send 1,000 swords to Aegonfort. Lady Sharra could see no purpose for the blades, but complied anyway.

While Visenya was conquering the Vale, Aegon and Rhaenys were preparing the army to attack the Riverlands. House Mudd called the banners and began preparing for the attack, but Aegon had sent letters to all the Riverlords, promising a reward should they betray House Mudd. Every House below the Fairmarket betrayed House Mudd, rallying behind House Tully and by extension, Aegon.

House Mudd was furious at the betrayal and lack of honor from House Tully and the others. However, House Mudd did not have enough men to fight against Aegon, especially with only half the Riverlands. So King Tristifer did the unthinkable. He traveled up to Wolf's Watch and swore fealty to King Torrhen Stark and bent the knee, wanting to be a part of the North, who they had allied with in the past, than the Targaryens who had destroyed their Kingdom. House Mudd would also declare a blood feud with House Tully.

House Stark graciously accepted their crown and named them High Magnars of the Northern Riverlands. King Torrhen and his son quickly moved the Northern army down to the Riverlands and began fortifying.

Aegon, furious at the unexpected move from House Mudd, flew towards Oldstones, with Rhaenys. They had completely ignored the plan devised by Visenya and the century of planning by House Targaryen, believing that it would just be another Duskendale. They were in for a very rude surprise. Unlike the Duskendale, which had just been newly constructed, Oldstones have been fortified for centuries. Their walls were lined with Northern Scorpions to fire much larger bolts to damage the dragons, and they were now fortified with a unit of Giant archers.

Cregan led the attack against Balerion with 15 Kongerons. They were able to quickly dodge and outmaneuver the dragonfire and lead Balerion away from Meraxes. Meraxes and Rhaenys quickly moved forward against Oldstones, attempting to burn the castle on her own. She was met with massive gigantic arrows fired from the numerous Giants and scorpions on the walls of the castle. Meraxes flew straight into a wave of arrows the size of an average man. A dozen bolts littered the silver dragon's body. The proud creature could only give out a pitiful roar, before crashing into the ground, it would give out a last attempt at defending her rider breathing its brilliant silver flames, however, it pitiful compared to what it once was. After its third breath Meraxes breathed his last, and Rhaenys was captured by the men of House Stark.

Meanwhile, Cregan had fought with Aegon in a fierce battle. Aegon and Balerion used their superior size and fire breath to eliminate the other 15 riders, incapacitating 8 and killing the other 7. Cregan had started it off by firing his bow atop his Kongeorn. When his arrows ran out, Cregan quickly jumped onto Balerion and he engaged Aegon. Balerion sensing the fight on top of his back had to fly straight and flat or else risk throwing Aegon off as well as Cregan. Balerion began his slow descent to the ground to avoid killing his rider. Cregan fought Aegon, Titan's Bite met Blackfyre, and the two incredibly skilled young men were fighting in a battle of skill and a dance of swords.

The smallfolk who had witnessed the fight, after Balerion landed, say that it was like a perfectly planned dance. The fight started atop Balerion, but Cregan got the upper hand and knocked Aegon off of him and onto the ground. Cregan would continue to try and push his advantage and jumped down to re-engage, but before he could finish Aegon off, Aegon had gotten back up right back up to continue the fight.

Cregan had the longer reach as Titan's Bite was a greatsword, while Blackfyre was only a bastard or a hand and a half sword. It is said that there were more than a thousand clashes before the fight was over, creating a storm of swords to the untrained eye.

Cregan kept Aegon at a long distance, not allowing Aegon to get into his guard and using his greatsword's length and weight to great advantage. Cregan brought down the greatsword in a quick over hand swing. Which Aegon blocked quickly, slanting the blade to the side, forcing Titan's Bite to slide off to the side and slice into the ground before retaliating with a quick jab. Cregan moved to the side, letting go of Titan's Bite. Believing that the fight was over, Aegon charged at Cregan. Aegon swung his black is a horizontal motion, but Cregan nifty doged the blade and threw his armour fist with a cross and nailed Aegon across the jaw.

Aegon reeled back, his back landing painfully into the ground before realizing that Cregan had let go of Titan's Bite on purpose. Aegon realized it was a trick to make him seem vulnerable. It was a well executed unorthodox move and it worked. Aegon attempted to get up, but his legs were wobbly and the world was spinning. Aegon ended up falling flat on his face staring up into the sky as the world spun. Aegon laid on the ground with Blackfyre far away from him, perfectly vulnerable to Cregan, completely dazed and hurt.

Balerion, seeing his rider split apart from the other warrior blasted a small restricted blast of fire at the other man. It wasn't even a tenth of his strongest blast, as flames might have hurt Aegon. The area around Cregan grew cold and his eyes glowed in ethereal power before a blast of cold, ice, and winds blasted forward to counter the breath of dragonfire. It only held a second but it gave Cregan enough time to roll out of the path of the dragonfire.

Lucky for Aegon before he could be killed, Orys led a group of men to back him up, when he saw that Balerion was going off track. An archer quickly fired an arrow towards Cregan, who quickly rolled, to dodge the arrow.

Cregan smirked and said "May we never meet again Dragonking. For the next time we meet, you will be dead by the end of it."

Cregan ran to his eagle and flew off quickly, with the Targaryen men attempting to catch him. Aegon rolled to his stomach and used both his arms and legs to barely get up. He moved to pick up Blackfyre. His jaw was still throbbing and his entire body was sore from the most difficult fight of his life.

Massaging his jaw, Aegon walked over to Orys and said "Where is Rhaenys?"

Orys sighed and said "She was captured by the Starks and it seems she will be moved to Winterfell in the marrow."

"WHAT?! What about Meraxes? How did this happen?!"

"She flew ahead to Oldstones whilst you engaged their aerial forces. If I had to guess, she thought she could destroy Oldstones quickly without the interference of the aerial forces. The Starks with their scorpions and their giants shot Meraxes down and captured Rhaenys."

"DAMN IT!"

Visenya had landed by Riverrun and saw Balerion but no Meraxes, annoyed she walked to Aegon's tent and said "Aegon, where is our sister? Was she not supposed to be here a week ago?"

Aegon said "She has been captured."

"What the hell do you mean captured? Our forces should have been nowhere near the enemy's! How was she captured?!"

"We decided to attack Oldstones after House Mudd bent the knee to House Stark. We believed that we would be strong enough." said Aegon with a sigh continuing "I got beaten by Cregan Stark in single combat and Meraxes was killed with Rhaenys captured."

Visenya furious, screamed "You fucking imbecile! You ruined House Targaryen's plan of conquest! A plan that was carefully formulated over a century! All because of your stupid fucking pride. Our conquest of the North was tenuous with three fully grown dragons! We will never fucking succeed now! Call for a damned parley and we will see if we can get her back. Now at best we must hope that our children conquer the North."

Visenya stormed out of the tent with a furious Aegon behind her.

King Torrhen Stark rode out of the gates of Oldstones to meet Dragonking Aegon in a parlay.

King Torrhen said "What do you want Dragonking? Speak."

"Bend the knee and return Rhaenys to me and I will allow House Stark be Lord Paramount and Warden of the North."

"Why would I bend to you, you fucking foreigner? What do you know of the Wolfswood? Of the Wall? Of the freezing winds of winter? Even your god damned gods are wrong."

"I HAVE DRAGONS! THE MIGHTIEST CASTLE IN WESTEROS COULD NOT DEFEND AGAINST IT!" screams Aegon.

"Your dragons mean nothing to us. One of your great dragons lay dead right outside the wall of this very castle, which while formidable does not compare to the defences of Winterfell." said King Torrhen while pointed towards the corpse of Meraxes before continuing "Duskendale is not the mightiest castle in the world, Winterfell is. Duskendale barely was on the level of Wolf's Watch. Besides House Stark was ruling the North, while your great ancestors were still fucking their goats, boy. Your heritage means nothing to us. Your beasts mean nothing to us. How is the jaw, by the way, I heard my boy nailed it good?"

"You fucking insolen-"

"Please King Torrhen, what is it that you want from us?" said Queen Visenya, cutting off King Aegon from speaking before he insulted King Torrhen.

"If you want your sister back, I need another hostage in return. Someone just as valuable. Somebody like you, Queen Visenya. I will also need an oath from you, King Aegon, that House Targaryen will never attack the North again."

"You dare try and bargain with me!"

"Yes I dare, boy. You are nothing but an insolent overgrown lizard, with a head ten times too big. You call yourself the only blood of Old Valyria and the, but you forget. I too, have the blood of Old Valyria flowing through my veins. House Belaerys held more prestige in Valyria than House Targaryen before the great doom. House Stark has the greatest collection of Valyrian steel weapons, the largest collection of Valyrian books, the only surviving Valyrian smallfolk live in Wintercity, and at least some of the Valyrian magic survived through House Stark. What do you have? Two swords and a crown? A few dragons? Blah, House Stark out ranks you in every single way."

"Fine, I will give you Visenya in return for Rhaenys." said Aegon with gritted teeth.

King Torrhen nodded and his bastard brother Brandon Snow brought Rhaenys bound and gagged. She was clearly not treated kindly, but her clothes were not ripped apart and she didn't look broken at the very least.

Visenya was shocked as Aegon traded her away like a piece of cattle. She didn't move as Brandon grabbed her and pulled her towards him as Aegon took Rhaenys and untied her.

Visenya screamed "YOU FUCKING BASTARD! I WON THE ALLEGIANCE OF THE VALE FOR YOU! I PLANNED THE FIELD OF FIRE AND STILL YOU DARE TO DO THIS TO ME! FUCK YOU, YOU PIECE OF SHIT!"

King Torrhen looked disgusted and said "So the rumors are true. When my spymaster reported your unfair treatment of your sister, I believed it false. You disgust me, you filth. You are willing to trade away your own blood. If you are still within my borders by tomorrow night, I will assume that you are declaring war on me and will retaliate in full. And to you Queen Rhaenys, you should consider yourself lucky that we are not as barbaric as you fucking southerners. They would have raped you and covered you in their seed without a second thought. If you attack the North again, you will get to experience the Winterfell dungeons. I am sure you have heard of the rumors of its horror, its freezing bite. Goodbye Dragonking, may we never meet again."

With that King Torrhen rode back into Oldstones with Brandon and Visenya. King Aegon would leave the Northern Riverlands to consolidate his forces. Lord Ronnel Arryn was not happy with King Aegon for losing Visenya and the Arryns was uncooperative for years to come. They were on the verge of rebellion for centuries, but lacked the means to fully break free from the Targaryen and their dragons.

With Orys' marriage, the Stormlands were fully under the control of the Baratheons. Most of the lords did not mind the new rule, as it was backed by strength and Orys had also married a Durrandon, giving them claim as the descendants of the legendary House Durrandon, although the line of Magnara Argella Stark nee Durrandon and Prince Eddard Stark had the better claim.

House Tyrell was met with a lot of disapproval from the other lords, with the Reach on the brink of revolt every year. This was done purposefully, to bind House Tyrell closer to House Targaryen without the need for a marriage. House Tyrell only ruled due to the backing of House Targaryen, forcing them to be forever loyal.

Lannister remained the dominant force in the Westerlands, although Lord Loren Lannister would attempt to curve the power of House Reyne a dozen times, he would mysteriously fail every time. This was because the Master of Whisperers was commanded by Aegon to maintain the strength of House Reyne, so that House Targaryen's threat would remain valid.

House Tully was consolidating their rule over the Southern Riverlands. Luckily, Lord Tully didn't need to deal with the disputes between Lord Bracken and Magnar Blackwood as they were split after the war. However, they also ruled only due to the backing of House Targaryen, as they did not win their position of power by their own accomplishments.

Aegon became known as 'the Conquer' for his great achievement in uniting five and a half of the eight kingdoms. He had forged a Kingdom as big as the North, even though they were more divided. However, most of his lords disliked Aegon due to him being a foreigner and having conquered them. During the time, in which Aegon was consolidating his forces, Aegon had a child with Rhaenys, who was named Aenys. When he learned of his wife's pregnancy, he planned for the invasions of Dorne as his line was secure
