6 months after Aegon's landing, all of the blade of Aegon's fallen foes had made their way to Aegonfort. It was with these blades Aegon "the Conqueror" constructed the legendary Iron Throne. The throne was massive in height, taller than a giant, melted and fused together by Balerion "the Black Dread" and five workers who had worked and shaped the throne for fifty nine days. The Iron Throne is an asymmetric monstrosity of spikes and jagged edges and twisted metal. It is uncomfortable and the back is fanged with steel which makes leaning back impossible. Aegon had it made this way deliberately, saying that a king should never sit easy. King Aegon then had the calendar changed to After Conquest, starting the third era. The Iron Throne became a metonymic device to refer to the King's Authority. Only Orys Baratheon, Aegon's Hand of the King, was allowed to sit upon the throne other than Aegon. Not even Rhaenys was allowed the opportunity to sit upon the throne.

Whilst the throne was being completed, Aegon flew to Oldtown to meet with the Hightowers and the High Septon. The High Septon after locking himself in the Starry Sept for seven days and nights, allegedly saw the Crone lift her golden lamp to illustrate the burning of Oldtown should the oppose Aegon. Manfred Hightower decided not to oppose Aegon in the Field of Fire because of this omen. When Aegon approached Oldtown, its gate was open and Lord Hightower rode forth to submit.

Three days later, Aegon was anointed by the High Septon with the seven oils, with his crown once again placed upon his head and was proclaimed as King Aegon of House Targaryen, the First of His Name, King of the Andals, the Rhoynar, and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms and Protector of the Realm. His titles he previously assumed were dropped in favour of those by his successors as well. His title brought controversy as many claimed he had no right to call himself the Lord of the Seven Kingdoms as the North, part of the Riverlands, and Dorne had yet to be conquered. He surprised many of his lords by proclaiming the new capital to be Aegonfort and King's Landing instead of Dragonstone or Oldtown.

With the symbol of his power made, Aegon had led the Tyrells, Lannisters, Baratheons, Arryns, and the Tullys to attack Dorne in the First Dornish Wars, at 4 AC. Queen Rhaenys eager to prove herself to Aegon, after her failure and capture, flew ahead on her new dragon, Visenya's old dragon, Vhagar to Sunspear, where she met Princess Meria.

Before Rhaenys could speak "I will not fight you, nor will I kneel to you. Dorne has no king. Tell your brother that."

"I shall, but we will come again, Princess, and next time we shall come with fire and blood."

"Your words. Ours are Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken. You may burn us, my lady ... but you will not bend us, break us, or make us bow. This is Dorne. You are not wanted here. Return at your peril."

With those words behind her Rhaenys flew back to Aegon. Furious Aegon began his attack. King Aegon I and Lord Harlan fought in the Prince's Pass. They faced heavy resistance as their forces were ambushed by Dornish defenders, who refused to fight head on. They fled and hid as soon as the dragons took to the air. Lord Orys Baratheon had joined the campaign after having a son to consolidate his rule and led a force through the Boneway.

Lord Harlan, while leading his army to Hellholt, saw many of his soldiers die of thirst and due to the heat. He is said to have gone slightly mad at the stress, both from the raging sun, as well as all the men he failed to save. Those few who finally managed to reach Hellholt, only found the castle to be deserted.

King Aegon briefly besieged Yronwood, which was defended by a few handful of old men, boys, and women. It took him less than a day to take. He found Skyreach abandoned just as Hellholt had been. Aegon and his lords were very confused at the lack of resistance.

Finally at Ghost Hill, he was challenged to single combat by Lord Toland's champion. The man charged at him atop his horse with a spear. Aegon had quickly sidestepped and cut the horse's legs. The man shot off the horse into the ground rolling, before coming to a stop. After Aegon had killed the man with Blackfyre, he pulled off the man's helmet only to discover that the "champion" was Lord Toland's mad fool. To make matters worse, when Aegon had entered Ghost Hill, it turned out to be deserted as well.

Lord Orys fared far worse than King Aegon and Lord Harlan in his assault up the Boneway. His army was pelted with rocks, arrows, and spears from above, and during the dead of night his men were murdered by the Dornish Raids. Towards the end, the Dornishmen blocked the Boneway both in front of Orys's army and behind, and the Wyl "Widow-lover" of House Wyl managed to capture Lord Orys and many of his bannermen and knights. They would remain captives of House Wyl till 7 AC.

When the Targaryens finally arrived at Sunspear, after facing countless losses, they discovered that Princess Meria had vanished. Declaring themselves victorious and his enemies cowards for abandoning the fight, King Aegon and Queen Rhaenys placed Dorne under the rule of the Iron Throne. They returned to King's Landing, leaving Lord Rosby as castellan of Sunspear and charged Lord Harlan Tyrell with putting down any revolts that might arise.

They had then left Dorne believing their work was finished. They were extremely wrong, Aegon and Rhaenys had only just returned to King's Landing when the Dornish rebelled against the Targaryens. From Sunspear's shadow city, Dornishmen came forth, retaking the castle. Lord Rosby was captured, dragged up the Spear Tower and thrown from a window atop the Spear Tower by Princess Meria herself. In 5 AC, Lord Harlan marched his army from Hellholt, intending on taking Vaith and Sunspear. But in the deserts of Dorne, the entire army disappeared never to be seen again. Not even a single body was found ever again.

Elsewhere all over Dorne, entire garrisons were put to the sword in a single week. The knights who had been in charge of the garrisons were horrifically tortured and mutilated.

Lord of House Wyl, called the Wyl of Wyl and the Widow-lover, eventually agreed to ransom back Lord Orys and the other captured lords. In 7 AC, the captives were ransomed back for each man's weight in gold and set free. However, the Wyl of Wyl took off their sword hands, so they could "never take up arms against Dorne again". Orys became bitter and obsessed with revenge, and resigned his office as Hand of the King.

Intent on revenge, King Aegon unleashed his dragons. The castles of the lords who remained defiant were burned time and time again. The Dornishmen retaliated in 8 AC by setting half the Rainwood not burnt by Rhaenys on Cape Wrath, ablaze and sacked half a dozen towns and villages.

In 9 AC, the dragons struck again, burning several more castles. The next year, Lord Fowler attacked Nightsong, taking its defenders hostage, while Ser Joffrey Dayne marched an army to Oldtown and razed the fields and villages nearby. Ser Joffrey earned great prestige, title, and fame to his house and demonstrated the skill of the Sword of the Morning once more across the Reach. He is said to have killed more than a thousand men in single combat and even killed a hundred men himself in one battle.

The Targaryens unleashed their dragons a third time, this time upon Starfall, the seat of House Dayne. The defences at Starfall forced the dragon's back, leaving the castle relatively unharmed. Rhaenys switched their offence to instead attack Skyreach, the seat of House Fowler, to once again be forced back by the Northern Scorpion which lined the castle walls. Rhaenys once again retreated towards Hellholt, filled with furious anger. However, at Hellholt, the dragon Vhagar was shot down from the sky with Queen Rhaenys upon her back, when a lucky bolt from a scorpion pierced the dragon's eye. Although Vhagar destroyed the castle's highest tower and part of its curtain wall in its fall, the death of both dragon and queen was the greatest success the Dornish had against the Targaryens.

The grief Aegon felt at the death of Rhaenys was great; the next two years would later be called the years of the Dragon's Wroth. Aegon burned every Dornish stronghold at least once, with the exception of Sunspear and Starfall, through cunning tactics and Belarion. The Dornish held to the belief that the Targaryens refused to attack Sunspear, because they were afraid that Princess Meria might have purchased a device from Lys to slay dragons with. Due to the Free Cities advanced combat experience against dragons, compared to the other parts of the word, this idea was believable.

However, Archmaester Timotty, based on Highscholar Garen's Theory of the Great Kings, offers a different explanation. Suggesting in his novel, Conjectures, that Aegon hoped this would instead turn the Dornish against the Martells. It was later found that indeed, letters have been found in which Marcher lords urge Dornish lords to surrender, claiming that House Martell had purchased their safety from the dragons. Regardless of the truth, the Dornish lords and smallfolk remained loyal, never betraying their trust with the Martells.

When Aegon realized his tactics were not working, he decided to place bounties on the heads of Dornish lords, who in turn, placed bounties on the Targaryens and their allies, excluding Visenya. Half a dozen Dornish lords were successfully assassinated, but only two of the assassins ever lived to collect their bounties. King Aegon was attacked on ten different occasions. One day, Aegon was walking the streets near Aegonfort, when a half a dozen assassins attacked him. His skill with a sword was the only reason why he was alive, although badly wounded. This attack led to the creation of the elite royal bodyguard known as the Kingsguard in 10 AC. This was after Orys cut Aegon's cheek with his knife with only his left hand before his pathetic guards could even draw their blade, let alone stop him. Aegon modeled the Kingsguard oaths after the Wintersguards and the Night's Watch oaths. They were to stand guard at the bottom of the Iron Throne and at least two members were to follow the King at all times.

Although Dorne was a blasted, burning ruin from the Red Mountains to the mouth of the Greenblood, the Dornish continued to fight. As Princess Meria said, they were unbent, unbowed and unbroken.

The First Dornish War ended on 13 AC, after the death of Princess Meria Martell. He sent his daughter Deria to King's Landing with an escort as a peace envoy. She brought with her the skull of Rhaenys' dragon Meraxes and a letter from Prince Nymor. The sight of the dragon's skull angered many at the royal court, such as Lord Orys Baratheon, but Aegon refused to act against the delegation. Instead, Deria was allowed to deliver her father's terms. Prince Nymor wanted peace, but would not submit to the Iron Throne. Aegon was determined to refuse this offer, until Deria handed him her father's letter.

Atop the Iron Throne, Aegon read the message. When he was done, he burned the letter, after which he left for Dragonstone upon Balerion's back. He returned the next morning, agreed to the peace terms of Prince Nymor and signed a treaty. The contents of the letter are unknown, although many have speculated. Scholar Daemon believes it said that Rhaenys survived her fall at Hellholt, but was being kept captive in extreme torment and the Dornish promised to end her suffering should Aegon agree to end the war. Maester Harwin offers a different perspective and suspects the letter stated that Nymor was willing to spend all of Dorne's gold to hire the Faceless Men of Braavos to assassinate Aegon's young son and heir, Aenys, if Aegon did not sign the peace.

Whatever had been in the letter, the result was an end to the nine-year war.

The remaining twenty-four years of Aegon's reign were peaceful. He spent much of his time consolidating his power by traveling throughout the Seven Kingdoms and building his capital at King's Landing. Aegon devoted half of every year to making these royal progresses. During his rule he tread carefully with the Faith of the Seven so they would not oppose him. Aegon built a grand sept on Valaena's Hill and agreed to the construction of an even grander one known as the Sept of Remembrance on Rhaenys' Hill.

Aegonfort initially lacked walls, because Aegon believed no one would attack a city which housed dragons. However, when he learned about a pirate fleet sacking Tall Trees Town in the Summer Isles in 19 AC, Aegon came to the realization that he was not always in the city to control the dragons. As such, he ordered the construction of massive walls to be built around the city. Construction began in 20 AC, and was completed in 26 AC. During this time Aegon made sure to spend as much time with Aenys as possible. Training him in fighting, politics, and other important qualities. Aegon knew that House Targaryen could not afford a weak king in such a vulnerable situation. With only one heir present to him, Aenys needed to be a strong king.

After Aegon celebrated his sixtieth name day in 33 AC, the royal progresses continued, but were now made by his son Aenys and his wife Alyssa Velaryon, while the aging king remained at home. At this same time, Aegon handed Blackfyre off to Aenys, unable to pass on Dark Sister as it went with Visenya. By this point late in his reign, Aegon decided that the ramshackle and unimpressive Aegonfort was not a suitable seat for a king, so the structure was torn to the ground in 35 AC. Aegon moved his family and court back to Dragonstone, while he commanded the construction of what would later be called the Red Keep. Lord Alyn Stokeworth was placed in charge of the building of the Red Keep. Lord Alyn consulted many maesters and artists to design a grand castle for the Targaryen line. The very usage of the red stone found near the bay was to separate it from other more mundane castles. The Iron Throne remained at the build site instead of Dragonstone, since it was too heavy to be moved. Sadly Aegon would not see its completion dying at 37 AC while telling his grandchildren Aegon II and Viserys stories about the conquest.

Aegon was cremated as was Valyrian tradition, with his funeral pyre being lit by Balerion. His ashes were buried in Dragonstone. Although with many faults, history would remember Aegon as one of the greatest kings in the known world. Conquering five and a half of the eight kingdoms was an impressive feat, even though he was defeated by House Stark and House Martell.

Visenya during this time was taken to Winterfell. It is said that she was in awe of the greatest castle in the known world. She understood why it was known to match even the Old Valyria. The towers shot up into the sky. There were three tall staggered walls. Each wall was significantly higher than the last. With Winterfell as its centerpiece, the city was the largest city in all of Westeros. The order went from Wintercity, White Harbour, Oldtown, to Lannisport. But instead of smelling like shit, the sewer system was kept clean and working. The bath houses were still bringing in a lot of money and kept the small folk clean. The air in the city smelled of smoked oak and pine wood as the cold had to be combated with fires, and had many merchants selling and buying goods. The specialist section had many blacksmiths, tanners, jewelsmiths all working hard at perfecting their craft.

In the courtyard of Winterfell, she saw the most intriguing group of fighters. The first only wore pants, and even in the cold crisp air he was sweating. The perks of being born as a Northern man. He fought a swordsman and a spearman on his own. Next to them was a massive man wielding an ax, fighting a man without a weapon, who appeared to be working with a man with only a shield. Another spar was occurring between a woman firing down arrows and arrows to a different woman wielding two knives, who blocked or dodged all the arrows.

Visenya was very skilled with her blade, but even still she knew that she could not last in a fight against one of them. She was drawn back to the first man, who upon closer inspection, she realized it was Cregan Stark.

The spearman and swordsman worked in perfect tandem with each other to fight Prince Cregan. But before the fight could continue, he saw her and called for the fight to end. Everybody stopped, he sent them away except for the swordsman and spearman and made his way to her.

Cregan Stark had walked up to Visenya, took her hand and lightly kissed the back of her hand. Visenya took in Cregan Stark. He stood at 183 cm tall with very classical Stark looks. His brown hair with the strand of white going across his left side of his head. He was broad shouldered and well muscled from his many hours on the courtyard. He had eight clearly defined abs, with his saratis coming in as well and pecs which were also very defined. Cregan liked to keep himself clean shaven unlike most Northerners. His right eye was a stormy grey, while his left eye was a royal purple, both intelligently sharp, staring right back at her. She was well aware that the white hair, one purple eye, and high cheekbones was from House Belaerys, one of the forty dragonlords.

After he let go he said "Welcome to Winterfell, Lady Visenya. I offer you the hospitality of the North." he signaled a servant who quickly brought him bread and salt, which he took and handed to Visenya, "Here please accept my bread and salt. In case you were not aware, this is a symbol of guest rights. And as long as you remain our guest, the entire power of the North will protect you."

"Thank you my lord."

"I must say, my lady, your brother is a jackass. My father had heard rumors about Aegon's dislike of you, but I never imagined he would trade you away."

"He had never liked the fact that I was on par with his fighting skill and that I was a better commander. All Targaryen lords before him dual wielded Blackfyre and Dark Sister. But he showed no talent in dual wielding and I was as good as a swordswoman as him. So my father saw it apt to grant me Dark Sister, instead of him."

"I see. Well I had the pleasure of fighting Aegon. Although I beat him, he was a skilled fighter, more skilled than the other fucking southerners I have met. If you are as good as him, I fancy a spar with you. Of course my lady, if you are willing?"

"Of course I am, my lord."

Cregan motioned to his guard to step out of the way and clear the courtyard. He called for a servant to bring him Lady Visenya's armour. Once she put on her armour, which was mostly chainmail, with a few plate mail pieces, her shoulders, chest and braces were made out of steel. With her neck, stomach and lends having an extra layer of leather.

Of course Cregan decided not to put any armour on, staying with only pants, tied up with a belt and boots. He was not even looking in Visenya's direction.

Worried Visenya asked "Are you not going to wear any armour? You are too skilled for me to hold back. Are you that confidant of your ability?"

"I will be fine." said Cregan, still playing with the grip of his blade with a cocky smirk.

Visenya smirked and quickly struck before Cregan to attack, thinking that the fight would be over before it even began. But Cregan's neck was not in the place where it was before. The blade had just skimmed pass, with Cregan only moving the smallest required amount.

Visenya scowled, annoyed at her failed plan. In her anger she put all of her strength into her follow up attack, a beginner mistake. Cregan Stark was a very skilled swordsman. One of the top hundred of the entire known world. From Westeros, to the Free Cities, Dothraki, and all the other places in Essos, but he was also a politician. He knew how to read and manipulate people, a skill he was not proud of as a Northerner but which was useful in dealing with the Braavosi. It was taught to him from the day he could speak.

He knew of Visenya's arrival and purposefully dressed in his current attire. From his behavior, to the way he acted, was done on purpose to get under her skin. With the strong overhead swing, Cregan had just sidestepped, grabbed Visenya by her armour and yanked, pulling her forward while sticking out his leg to trip her.

Visenya flew forward and landed on her face. Annoyed at failing for the oldest trick in the book, flipped over to retaliate, only to see the blade at her throat. Once Visenya acknowledged the blade, Cregan flipped his grip on the blade over and put out a hand for Visenya. Visenya, who was not a sore loser like Aegon and Rhaenys, took the hand.

Cregan easily helped her up and said "I apologize for my earlier behavior, your grace. I only wished to see your knowledge in politics and manipulations. To the Southerners it's their life, but to us Northerners, it is merely a game. We love fooling and manipulating each other to pull off a prank or a joke. As you stay here you will get more used and aware of them. I have a feeling you will learn quickly. Now let us actually spar."

With Visenya up, she had her feet firmly planted under her shoulder, with Dark Sister straight out in front of her. Cregan stood with Titan's Bite at his right side with both his hand on the blade. Visenya once again struck first, flicking forward with a quick jab before moving quickly away. Cregan with his quick reflexes dodged, retaliating with a underhand diagonal strike.

Visenya blocked and swung an overhead attack. Cregan blocked and pushed forward, knocking her back. As she stumbled back Cregan retaliated with a side swipe. Visenya ducked under the strike and retaliated with an upward strike.

Visenya and Cregan traded blows, reaching hundreds of blows. Visenya was trying her best, while Cregan was testing her skill. She was as skilled as Aegon, but she was not as strong or with as much endurance. With the advantage of being in a home field and not having to fight on a dragon's back, Cregan was matching and beating all of Visenya's attacks.

As it seemed like Visenya was getting tired, Cregan used his disarming move, twisting Dark Sister out of Visenya's hand. Before once again quickly putting his blade to her throat.

Cregan said while retrieving Dark Sister and handing her the blade, "And that is a match. Thank you for indulging my curiosity, my lady. Would you like to freshen up before I show you around Winterfell?"

"Yes please, my lord."

"Very well, follow me." said Cregan.

Cregan led Visenya into the castle of Winterfell, down one or two flights of stairs. They were followed by his guards. They reached a set of doors, which they opened to reveal a room full of steam and small pools of what appeared to be hot water.

"This is the underground hot springs. This specific hot spring is for the guests, so you don't need to worry about being bothered. We divided the male and female section so you do not have to worry about any creep, my lady. Now take as long as you want. The hot water will relieve your tired muscles. There will be clothes prepared for you once you finish and then a servant will take you up to your room. After that we can continue our tour."

Cregan turned around and closed the behind him.

After Visenya took her bath and got ready, Cregan took her around Winterfell. They were walking through the Hall of Artifacts. It was a grand well lit hall, with many crowns on pedestals, swords and artwork mounted on the wall, neatly opened books on tables, and even the first Golden Wolf. It was an impressive hall to show off the history and long lineage of House Stark.

"That is the crown of the Barrow King, House Dustin bent the knee to King Rickard 'the Strong Wolf'. Same with House Greywolf, House Umber, House Reed, House Ryswell, House Glover and House Greyiron. You can find their crowns further down the hall. Over there is the very first Ice, forged out of Celestial Bronze. The blade has killed many White Walkers, Giants, Wights, and First Men."

"White Walkers? Are they not a myth?"

"No, your grace. Brandon 'the Bloody Blade' did not leave his comfortable life in the Reach for the North for no reason. Brandon 'the Builder' did not build the greatest structure in the world to hold back nothing. The Children of the Forest remember their creation. The White Walkers are real and the Night King is waiting for his chance. I as a member of House Stark will always oppose him."

"There are certainly a lot of Brandons in House Stark."

"Aye, that is because of an old superstition in my family. That right there is the Book of Runes. The book contains old runes of the First Men, before Benjin 'the Scholar' created the First Tongue. The original notes of Benjin 'the Scholar' are here further this hall as well, and its copies can be read in the Great Library of Winterfell. There is Prince Tormund 'the Mathamthican' books on mathematics. That is the first pendent of the Order of the Green Rangers. Here is the map Queen Kyra 'the Huntress' used to explore the lands beyond the Lands of Always Winter. That vile black crown is the crown of the Night's King, the 13th commander of the Night's Watch. Queen Cassana's original notebook can be found here as well. There are far more artifacts, but those are some of the more important and famous ones."

They then moved on to the Hall of a Thousand Lights. This hall was created to mimic the most beautiful sight in all of Westeros, the Aurora of the Old Gods. Greenish lights which appear in the sky, it is said to be the most beautiful thing in the world. King Jojen 'the Lighter' attempted to recreate the effect using many cleverly hidden light sources, gems, and gold to reflect the light. Engineered so meticulously that even when light was not directly present, the room would always collect and reflect the light found naturally, to give the hall a ethereal look. It failed to match the Auroras but it looked like the night sky and it was fitting of the grandeur of House Stark.

"You cannot enter the Ancient Crypts of the Kings of Winter. Only a Stark or a person who married into the House Stark is allowed to enter, my lady. But we can go see the Street of Great Kings, also known as the King's Street."

The Street of Great Kings was a straight street within the second layer of the city, containing all of the Great Winter Kings. It was a street full of Statues and sculptures of the great King and small carved tablets, stating their accomplishments. If the King's deed was forgotten, they were removed from the street, to make space for new Kings. Cregan went down the street explaining all of their accomplishments. They covered King Benjen 'the Unifier' to King Theon 'the Hungry Wolf'.

"There you will see our two famous founders, Brandon 'the Bloody Blade' who killed thousands and thousands of men, on the edge of the Blue Lake. He is the reason why the Blue Lake was changed to the Red Lake, in honor of the battle and death that took place there. And next to him is Brandon 'the Builder' who beat back the Night King and raised the Wall, the greatest structure in all of Westeros, he also raised the great keep of Winterfell, Hightower, and Storm's End. That should be all the major Winter Kings. It is every Starks dream to one day have our own place upon this street."

"How is it that you memorized all of the Kings and their deeds?"

"I loved it here, I would come here almost everyday as a child. I used to play on this street, imitating the great kings, my lady. And I would beg my father to regale me with all the tales of each and every king in this hall."

"That is very nice, my lord."

"You can call me Cregan if it makes you more comfortable, my lady. You will be here for a long time, as I doubt your brother will do anything for you and you will never escape Winterfell, yet alone the North. Such a feat would be impossible."

"I believe that would be the case as well. And as for calling you Cregan, I will as soon as you call me Visenya. I am not a queen anymore, since Aegon traded me away."

"Thank you Visenya. Now I hear you are quite the reader. Would you like to visit the Great Library of Winterfell? Normally most people are not allowed access to the Library unless you are a Northerner, however, my father has decided to wave the restrictions for you, as you will be in the North for the rest of your life. "

"Yes please! I hear that you have the oldest and greatest amounts of books in all of Westeros, if not the known world. As well as the most extensive collection of Valyrian books!"

"All of that is true and more. Please follow me."

The Great Library was a separate building from the main keep, with a massive building dedicated to it. When Visenya entered the Great Library, her jaw dropped. Books and scrolls on shelves covered every single wall, all the way to the top. There had to be at least 300,000 books and scrolls. She could see many tables around the room, with many doors leading to separate spaces, such as the meeting rooms, lecture halls, living quarters, and even doors leading outside to gardens.

"We have around 400,000 books and scroll, all neatly categorized and kept. We have the rarest books with us available to any member of the Scholarly Order, members of House Stark and the North. The Scholars keep the library in top condition, replacing damaged books. There is a heavy fine for those who damage a book. The Scholars are taught here, they live here and they keep the library safe. This was built by House Stark to push the North ahead in research as well as show off House Stark's wealth. One of the main goals of the Scholarly Order is to collect every knowledge and have it written and contained within this library." said Cregan with a proud smile.

"It's amazing, I could spend hours here."

"As you are a guest, you will be allowed access to some of the books, but the rarer, more important scrolls and books would be kept out of your reach. You will also not be allowed to take out any of the books from the library. I hope you understand Visenya."

"I completely understand. There is no way I would allow some stranger access to my rare nearly one of a kind books."

"Thank you for understanding. You will find many books on Valyria here. In fact I am sure that there is a book about House Targaryen there, if you are interested."

"Of course I am, Cregan!"

"Very well, I will leave you here now. I have some business to take care of in Wintercity. In around two hours time, dinner will be served in the Great Hall. You are expected to attend Visenya. So please don't forget. You will be able to get one of the Scholars to show you the way."

A/N: House Stark after much deliberation decided to follow the era of AC, after conquest. They had made this choice as it was now in the AW 8348. The number was getting too large to be manageable and the Conquest was a major event.
