A/n: Thanks for pointing out the mistake with the Northern lords. When I read up on the dance those houses were specifically mentioned and I forgot about the situation in my world. It has been fixed now!

Visenya had been in Winterfell for around 2 moons already. During this time, she had gotten close to Cregan and even his father Torrhen. She had visited the court and many sights of Winterfell. However, most of her time had been spent in the Great Library.

As Visenya was going at lengths about the new Valyrian history that she had learnt, Cregan led her to Wintercity.

"This is the greatest city in Westeros and Essos. The only city which could compete with it was Valyria before it was destroyed and perhap Charnoy in the height of its power. With a population of half a million, people expect the city to reek of shit and sweat. That is not the case. King Artos 'the Clean Wolf', had introduced the bath houses, bringing great profit to House Stark. It also keeps the citizens clean, at least as clean as the minor lords. The further you get from the city, the lower the class of the small folk. It was organized and built to the last detail, everything was done on purpose."

As Cregan was talking they had passed a row of shops, some stocked full of beautiful jewelry, some lined with intricate blades, and some with great slik.

"Oh this will probably interest you Visenya. There is a street named Shraey's Street, going from the rich, all the way to the poorer classes, which are full of Valyrian culture. The smallfolk which had come with House Belaerys are thriving. We call the sector Northern Valyria, although some even call it Little Valyria. The culture of Valyria had survived with minor changes, from the Northern influence. We are passing through right now."

As Cregan had said, they were passing through an area which had vastly different style houses. Without the books from the Great Library Visenya would have never known that these buildings were ancient Valyrian architecture. Very pale blond haired people with blue eyes were walking down the roads.

"We try to keep their culture alive. They are the last living representation of a once strong ancient civilization."

They passed food vendors, selling exotic looking food. Visenya assumed it to be Valyrian food. They had stopped by a park within the area kept and built in a completely Valyrian fashion. There were pillars holding up roofs which were to be used as shade carved with monuments of dragons.

"It is actually interesting to note that the Old Gods of Valyria are similar to the Old Gods of the North. Although some are worshipped more, between the two cultures, it remains that both religions worship multiple gods of nature. Although, Valyria was of course more focused upon fire and the like, while we Northerners were more focused upon forests and rivers. In fact Grandscholar Gregor suggested that the Children of the Forest, which once populated both Essos as well as Westeros, influenced the original humans before the First men and the Valyrians. This leads to the similarities within our religion. Of course the Valyrian focus on fire and destruction, meant that the religion was okay with slavery, however beyond that main point of contention, the religion is acutally quite similar. Especially now, since all that remains of the Valyrian civilizations are the lower class, and they and their ancestors could not afford slaves in the first place. Would you like to taste some of the food, Visenya?"

"Yes, please!"

"Here, follow me." said Cregan while leading Visenya to a street vendor and ordering her some traditional Valyrian food.

Visenya took a bite and said "That's really spicy!"

"Yes, the spices were originally from the rivers of Rhoynar and the Old Ghiscari Empire. The Valyrian acquired these spices and merged them with their food to create what you are eating right now."

"I see. It is really good."

"It is, isn't it. That's favourite among Valyrian dishes. Oh, Visenya please follow me, I have one more thing to show you for today."

Cregan then led Visenya back out of Little Valyria and walked to one of the grand shops. Visenya was marveling at all the clothings and cloaks. There were a few made out of wolf fur, some out of bear, and all kinds of other animal fur.

Cregan said "I have to go talk to the shop owner. Please do feel free to browse."

As Cregan walked away, Visenya decided to follow Cregan's suggestion. None of the clothing really caught her eye, as she had plenty brought with her. Aegon at least had the decency to give her, her clothing. However, in the corner of the shop a cloak caught her eye. The fabric, which she felt and found to be wool, was very soft and warm. It was dyed red with black accents. It was surprisingly her size and the top was lined with a Direwolf skin.

Just as she was about to check the back of the cloak, Cregan came back and asked "Do you like that one?"

"Yes, it is very beautiful."

"Good, because I had that specially made for you."

"WHAT! But this must have cost you a fortune!"

"Do not worry about the money. I am the Crowned Prince. I get enough allowance and what I don't get from my parents, I can win from my men through sparring matches and the like."

"Why would you do this for me?"

"Because Visenya, you are my guest. It is my duty to make you feel welcomed, even if you did not want to come here. I saw you shivering last week and felt it apt that I had you made a cloak. I understand none of your clothing is really meant for the North. It is my duty to rectify that. If you check the back of the cloak, you will see the three dragons of House Targaryen emblazoned on it, with the Direwolf symbol. Only a fool will attack you when you have the cloak on. You will find that House Stark is revered in the North. No average smallfolk will bother you."

"Thank you so much, I am touched. You Northerners are really not like the barbarians the south makes you out to be."

"Oh you have yet to meet any Umbers or have experienced a Northern feast. Besides I am not the most accurate representation of us Northerners. However, you will find that in fact the only reason why we are called barbarians by the southerners is jealousy. We have always been better than them. Even though we should be condemned by their precious Seven, we are thriving. Not because we were given better lands, but because we were able to work hard for it."

With Visenya's arrival at Winterfell, Cregan's schedule and habits changed. He would walk up early in the morning and walk to Visenya's room. They would then walk to the courtyard where they trained with the Wintersguard. Beater helped her learn to think on her feet and taught her basic hand to hand combat moves. Visenya showed no talent with a spear, but with Lancer she learned how to combat a spear wielder. Visenya learnt to be a better archer from Archer. Sadly she would never be able to enter a real berserker state and her bright white hair stopped her from being able to blend into the background, preventing her from truly learning from Berserker and Assassin.

With House Stark's extensive knowledge of Valyrian magic Visenya's magical ability grew greatly. With the help of Cregan and the Children of the Forest, she bagan mastering Valyrian magic. She did not have great magical talent as Queen Shaery was recorded to be able to do, but her magical power was still impressive and her eagerness to learn is what pushed her to be more powerful. It was from Visenya that House Stark learned that most of House Targaryen's magical ability disappeared from inbreeding and a lack of trainers and knowledge, all of which was lost in the doom. Highscholar Jon suggests that the Old Valyrians must have had a special magical ritual to combat the effects of inbreeding, as its effect only appeared after the doom.

They would then freshen up in the hot springs and then either go to the Great Library, visit Wintercity together, go hunting, or go flying on Cregan's Kongeorn. Then Visenya would go back to the Great Library, while Cregan would go attend to his Princely duties. He would help manage Wintercity or hold councils with his father. They would often eat dinner together and spend every moment that they could together.

So when Cregan decided to court and later marry Visenya, it was no surprise to anybody. Even the lower class small folk knew of their relationship and knew that they were going to get married.

With Visenya's marriage to House Stark, the Stark look was once again modified. Not nearly as drastically as the first time but merely another white strand of hair, this time going across their right side of their head. The Starks magical potential only grew stronger with House Targaryens marriage. Queen Visenya would go on to educate the Green Rangers, in dragon combat tactics, such as the counters and the dragon's weakness. Visenya only offered this after she heard of Vhagar's death in Dorne. It is said that her rage was so furious, objects around her spontaneously combusted and she had to be taken out of the Library.

With Queen Visenya's council and diplomatic skill, Cregan was able to fully bring the Northern Riverlands into the fold with their heir going to Northern Houses to learn to be a Magnar. After King Torrhen 'the Defiant' Stark's death, King Cregan and Queen Visenya took over and went on a royal progress to access their realm and consolidate their power.

They would work together daily, holding trials and dispensing judgement fairly. Queen Visenya would make sure of the continued growth of Little Valyria. She would work with the River Magnars to help defend their lands, even without the natural barriers. Cregan with Visenya would go on to purchase the bones of Vhagar from the Martells to have both the bones of Vhagar and Meraxes. The bones of Vhagar were for Visenya to mourn, while the bone of Meraxes was to make a bow. A Highscholar theorized that a dragon's bone composition would be very strong but flexible and light, so that the dragon could fly. After getting to test some of the material, he was able to prove his theory and determine the material to be perfect for a bow, due to its elasticity and lightweight. It can be considered to be the only material in the known world which could beat the Goldenheart bows. So Cregan would be able to finally give Archer a better bow than the Goldenheart bow that she had to leave behind. The bow is said to have an intricate design, with wolves all along the bow, called Enki.

They would go on to be known as a great Winter King and Queen. They had formed the elite Wintersguard, in which they were the best at their respective fighting style. They had fully integrated the Northern Riverlands and converted the majority lord's back into Magnars. They had gained the Blackwoods' allegiance by bringing in the Children of the Forest to heal their poisoned tree. They had strengthened their connection with the Free Cities and further filled the Vault of Winterfell.

King Aenys I Targaryen was a naturally kind man, but with Aegon's training and guidance, he learned to put on the mask of strength. Not as strong or as fierce as Aegon, but he was able to fight the Faith Militant Uprising. Most of his reign was emblazoned in war, but with the dragons he was able to force the Seven to a standstill. He would not have been able to accomplish this, if it wasn't for the fact that the Seven while being a major religion of Westeros, was not dominant and was constantly vying against the other religions.

The Old God's presence still remained in the Riverlands, Dorne, as well as the Westerlands. Only the Vale and the Reach was completely dominated by the Seven. Dorne had the Old Gods, the Faith of the Seven, as well as Mother Rhoyne. The followers of Mother Rhoyne and the Old Gods were able to work in harmony with each other, as their belief did not state that they were the only gods. The Old Gods of the Forest were about worshipping the many gods of the Forest. Mother Rhoyne is about the worship of the goddess of the river of Rhoyne. It does not state in either religion to hate other religions. In fact the Old Gods consider all gods to be under their wing. Mother Rhoyne was merely a single goddess, one of the numerous goddesses of nature. It was the same case with the Drowned God, the Storm God, and even the Many-Faced God.

King Aenys would be known as a decent king. Not one in particular of note, but was able to keep the Targaryen name alive.

With Aenys death, Jaehaerys 'the Wise' was able to mend the rift with the Faith of the Seven. It started after he became acquainted with Septon Barth. He was a brilliant man of common birth who tended to the books and records in the Red Keep's library. Because of his common birth Barth had no surname. When Jaehaerys offered to allow Barth to take one, Barth refused, saying that he took his Septons vows, so he would not be able to pass on his name anyway. Jaehaerys soon became close friends and named him Hand of the King, a position which Septon Barth kept for forty years. Although some of Jaehaerys' counselors urged the him to deal with the remnants of the Faith Militant harshly and eliminate them entirely, while others wanted Jaehaerys to ensure that the Faith was answerable to the same justice as the rest of the king's subjects, Jaehaerys with the guidance of Barth chose a different path. The King sent Septon Barth to Oldtown to speak with the High Septon. Eventually, Jaehaerys agreed to pardon all those of the Faith who would set aside their swords, while the Faith agreed to set aside their traditional right of judging their own, accepting justice from the throne from that moment forth. In return, Jaehaerys swore to the Faith that the crown would always protect and defend the Faith of the Seven. With these new agreements, the rift between the crown and the Faith was healed. A side effect of such actions was the fact that the most of the Smallfolk who had believed in the Old Gods decided to leave for the North, and only a few were converted and less remained.

Besides dealing with the Faith, Jaehaerys and Barth also worked together to further reform the realm. Jaehaerys created the first unified code of law, ordered drains, sewers and wells to be constructed in King's Landing, as Barth was convinced that fresh water and flushing of offal and waste were important to the health of the city. It was based off of Winterfell's and Casterly Rock's sewer system. King Jaehaerys was also famous for constructing the Kingsroad. It was based off of the Northern road designs. It is said that King Jaehaerys asked access to the Great Library to read about Valyrian Road construction and the Stark denied him access forcing Jaehaerys to use the less developed designs of the Maesters. King's Landing was directly connected to Casterly Rock, Storm's End, Highgarden, and Riverrun. This focused the trade towards King's Landing, growing its populations exponentially. Convinced by Alysanne, Jaehaerys also abolished the lord's right to the First Night, although it was banned in the North centuries ago. His great construction plans injected most of the hoarded Targaryen wealth back into Westeros' economy, allowing it to grow.

Jaehaerys was the longest-ruling Targaryen monarch, having ruled for fifty-five years. Because of this, he is referred to as the 'Old King', along with his other nicknames such as 'the Wise' and 'the Conciliator'. His reign is remembered as the most prosperous period in the history of the Targaryen monarchy, even more so than the rule of Aegon Targaryen. His reign brought peace, stability, and justice to the Seven Kingdoms. He had fixed infrastructure of both the capital and his lands, purging much of the corruption from the capitol. He started to fill the Targaryen coffers, due to fair and just tax laws. He fairly used said taxes to develop his lands instead of hoarding it. It is said that whilst Aegon captured the lands, it was Jaehaerys who truly built the Kingdom. Jaehaerys is considered to be the best king that the Seven Kingdoms ever bore witness to, and is regarded as such by many historians and laymen. They had erected a small statue of him on Rhaenys hill to be remembered for centuries.

Jaehaerys was succeeded by his grandson Viserys I Targaryen. Viserys was a decent enough king. He continued his grandfather's great work in keeping the peace. His time of rule was the golden age of House Targaryen. He was a plump and pleasant man, often being described as amiable, open handed and eager to please. His generosity was legendary and the Red Keep became a place of song and splendor during his reign. King Viserys hosted countless balls, feast and tournaments and lavished gold and offices and honors among those he favored, he was well loved by lords and smallfolk alike. He worked to keep his lords happy and grow House Targaryens power.

Even while holding expensive balls, and feasts he had kept the gold flowing within his kingdom, and kept their treasury as full as it was during Jaehaerys rule. However, he did not have the same economic brain as his grandfather and the growth of the kingdom began to stall. Still, by holding a splendid court with Queen Aemma Arryn, the Young King was determined to maintain the peace and goodwill of his grandfather Jaehaerys the Wise.

They had a son who died in infancy and a daughter, Princess Rhaenyra, who was six when her father became king. The princess became his royal cupbearer at the age of eight and was always by her father's side at feasts, balls and tourneys. Rhaenyra was dubbed "the realm's delight". She worked to learn as much as she could from her father, so she could be a strong lady when she got married.

In 105 AC Aemma died in labor birthing the king's son and heir, whom Viserys named Baelon after his late father, who tragically passed a day after Aemma. While the King was deep in sadness, his brother Daemon was observed, by his masters of whispers, in a brothel in the Street of Silk making drunken japes with his cronies about the "heir for a day". When word of this reached the grieving Viserys, his grief turned to furious rage. His court said that Daemon had awoken the dragon within Viserys.

After the mourning period was over Viserys held a lavish ceremony in 105 AC and had Rhaenyra declared the heir and Princess of Dragonstone as revenge to his ungrateful brother's ambitions. Hundreds of lords and landed knights did obeisance to the princess and swore solemn oaths to defend her rights of succession. Daemon left the capital in a fury. Daemon would go on to conquer and lose the Stepstones from House Veltigar's and Myr's influence.

Viserys began to groom Princess Rhaenyra to be the ruling queen, teaching her how to rule and made her part of his small council. Due to her diligence and previous education, she didn't have much to learn.

Grandmaester Runciter was the first to urge him to remarry, suggesting Laena Velaryon, daughter of Lord Corlys Velaryon. Such a marriage would have healed the rift between the Iron Throne and Driftmark, since Viserys had been chosen as heir to the Iron Throne over Laenor Velaryon in the Great Council of 101 AC. Viserys instead chose Alicent Hightower, the eighteen namesday old daughter of Otto Hightower, his current Hand of the King.

Viserys and Alicent married in 106 AC. Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen poured for her new stepmother at the wedding feast, and Queen Alicent kissed her and named her "daughter". Rhaenyra and Alicent at first got on well, but that soon changed.

The Alicent bore a healthy son, Aegon, in 107 AC. A daughter, Helaena followed in 109 AC and another son named Aemond was born in 110 AC. Though Alicent had given Viserys male heirs, the king did nothing to change the order of succession as he considered the matter already settled by naming Rhaenyra in his will. Otto Hightower hectored the king so much that Viserys sent him back to Oldtown, bestowing the position of Hand on Lyonel Strong, Lord of Duskendale.

A rift was created at court. The queen's party consisted of powerful lords friendly to Alicent and supportive of the rights of her sons. Against that was the party of the princess, those who supported Rhaenyra as heir as per the King's wishes and their previous oaths. In 111 AC a tourney was held to celebrate the five year anniversary of Viserys and Alicent's wedding. Since the queen wore a green gown, while the princess wore the Targaryen colors of black and red, it became the custom to refer to 'Greens' and 'Blacks' when talking about the two parties.

The tourney also saw the return to court of Prince Daemon, who reconciled with Viserys offering him the crown he claimed while fighting for the Stepstones. Viserys decided to forgive Daemon, and he was allowed back into King's Landing. But in only six months later Daemon was exiled again from King's Landing. It was due to the fact that Daemon took Rhaenyra's virginity. Viserys was once again beyond furious. He is said to have ordered his guards to kill his own brother. But Septon Eustace reminded him about the taint of kinslaying, thus Daemon was exiled instead, forever stripped of his title, name, and honor.

After deciding that Rhaenyra needed to be married, Viserys had tried to arrange a marriage between House Targaryen and House Stark. The Starks refused, in favor of marriage to House Martell. With both House Stark and House Martell unavailable, Viserys turned to House Veltigar.

House Veltigar refused due to only having one son and they were not open to a matrilineal marriage. So Rhaenyra was married to Laenor Velaryon, to regain the friendship between the Iron Throne and Driftmark. Later the same year Rhaenyra gave birth to her first son, Jacaerys Targaryen. However, rumor spread that the child's real father was Lyonel's son, Ser Harwin Strong, Rhaenyra's sworn shield who resided with her on Dragonstone.

Queen Alicent bore a third son, Daeron, the same year. Viserys had Jacaerys and Daeron share a wet nurse till weaned, hoping to prevent enmity by raising them as milk brothers. Rhaenyra gave her father two more grandsons years later, Lucerys Targaryen born in 115 AC and Joffrey Targaryen in 117 AC. Instead of traditional Valyrian features, the three children had pug noses, brown hair, and brown eyes. This only spurred on the rumors that their father was Harwin rather than Laenor.

The year 120 AC became known as the Year of the Red Spring because of its many deaths and accidents for House Targaryen. The year saw the death of Rhaenyra's husband, Laenor Velaryon, who was killed in a fight between his companion and rumored lover, Ser Qarl Correy. Rhaenyra and Daemon shocked the realm by wedding without Viserys's knowledge, a huge scandal as neither Laena nor Laenor had been dead for six months. The year ended with Rhaenyra and Daemon welcoming the birth of their first son, Prince Aegon 'the Younger'. Another son, born in 122 AC, was given the name Viserys after Rhaenyra's father.

The forced closeness of Rhaenyra's and Alicent's children increased animosity between the blacks and greens. When royal children and grandchildren became dragonriders and court visitors observed the dragons of one faction snapping and spitting flames at the dragons of the other party.

Viserys died on the 129 AC during a nap in the Red Keep of King's Landing. Viserys had decreed his heir to be Rhaenyra, the daughter from his first wife, Aemma Arryn. Aegon 'the Elder', the eldest son of his second wife Alicent, was instead crowned Aegon II by Ser Criston Cole, the Lord Commander of the Kingsguard. Starting the great civil war known as the Dance of Dragons, between the 'Blacks' and the 'Greens'

It would later be noted that Prince Aegon only reluctantly accepted the crown because his mother, brothers, sister and children would otherwise be killed by Rhaenyra.

On Dragonstone, Rhaenyra had learned about the death of her father and the betrayal of her siblings. Anger had made her go into labor, which lasted for three days and brought forth a stillborn, deformed girl, whom Rhaenyra named Visenya. Rhaenyra, in answer to Aegon's betrayal and stolen throne, swore revenge.

During the council it was resolved that while Rhaenyra remained at Dragonstone to regain her health, Prince Daemon and Caraxes would travel to the Riverlands, to make Duskendale their base and rallying point for those loyal to Rhaenyra. House Velaryon would close off the Gullet blocking all shipping from Blackwater Bay. Princess Rhaenys was convinced that Storm's End would declare for Rhaenyra, since Lord Boremund Baratheon, the deceased father of Lord Borros and Rhaenys's uncle, had always been a supporter of Rhaenys. Prince Daemon also was convinced that Lady Jeyne Arryn, the Maiden of the Vale, would bring her support to their side.

She had also sent ravens to House Martell and House Stark asking for help and support. Both Houses promptly ignored the calls for help, claiming that the civil war did not concern their kingdoms. Rhaenys was furious to learn of their refusal and swore revenge.

Prince Daemon had more experience in warfare than all their foes combined. During Rhaenyra's rival coronation on Dragonstone, Daemon placed the crown of King Jaehaerys I Targaryen on the head of his wife, proclaiming her queen and claiming himself Protector of the Realm. Declaring Ser Otto Hightower and Queen Alicent traitors, Rhaenyra allowed for her half-siblings to be forgiven if they would bend the knee.

Upon hearing these developments, King Aegon II declared Rhaenyra and Daemon traitors as well. After being persuaded by his mother, Alicent and sister, Helaena, Aegon dispatched Grand Maester Orwyle to Dragonstone with a retinue under a peace banner, offering Rhaenyra generous terms, but was refused. Not long after but not before swearing on the Seven-Pointed Star to go only as messengers not knight's did Rhaenyra's sons depart. With the eldest Jacaerys visiting the Arryns of the Eyrie. Rhaenyra's second son, Lucerys, traveled to Storm's End.

It was during this time that Daemon led the assault on Duskendale, capturing the ruined castle from its castellan, Ser Simon Strong, without conflict by landing Caraxes on top of Kingspyre Tower. In the meantime, Jacaerys gained Lady Arryn and many of the Vale lords.

Lucerys flew to Storm's End, arriving before a gathering storm. He found Prince Aemond and his dragon Starlax already present. Aemond tried to goad Lucerys into a fight, insulting him, calling him a Strong bastard, but Lucerys, sworn not to fight, refused him. He delivered his message from Rhaenyra to Lord Borros, but was refused by Lord Borros and told to leave.

Borros prevented Aemond from attacking his cousin in the castle, but did allow for the prince to follow him. Mounted on his dragon, Aemond caught up with Lucerys during a raging storm. The fight between the two dragons was a fierce on in the stormy night. Both dragons were newborn, and barely over 10 years old. Starlax and Arrax struck each other's throats and both fell broken. Their bodies washed ashore three days later.

After hearing of the death of his stepson, Prince Lucerys Targaryen, at the hands of his nephew, Prince Aemond Targaryen, Daemon, through his spymaster and former mistress Mysaria, hired Blood, former sergeant in the City Watch, and Cheese, a rat-catcher from the Red Keep, to murder a son of Aegon II. The two sneaked into the Red Keep, using secret tunnels and hidden doors, which brought them into the Tower of the Hand. There, Dawger Queen Alicent was bound and gagged, and her bedmaid strangled. When Queen Helaena, wife of Aegon II, and her three children appeared, Blood and Cheese barred the doors and told Helaena to choose which of her sons would die. Helaena reluctantly chose Maelor, but Blood did the opposite and killed Prince Jaehaerys instead. The two fled with the prince's head, leaving the others unharmed. It spawned great fear with everybody living within the Red Keep.

Duskendale made the young king, Aegon II realize how severe his situation was. While House Hightower of Oldtown stood firmly behind Aegon, Lord Owen Costayne of Three Towers, Lord Mullendore of Uplands, Lord Alan Tarly of Horn Hill, Lord Thaddeus Rowan of Goldengrove and Lord Grimm of Greyshield declared for Rhaenyra, as did the Vale of Arryn, the Braken and other riverlords, who were assembling at Duskendale.

Ser Otto Hightower believed that Daemon was Rhaenyra's greatest weakness and reached out to an old foe of Daemon's, to the Myr and the Veltigars across the narrow sea, hoping to use them against Corlys Velaryon. However, Aegon II was running out of patience and removed Otto as Hand. Ser Criston Cole was named in his stead and decided quick actions were necessary. Following Criston's advice Aegon acted by sacking Rosby and having Lord Rosby beheaded for supporting Rhaenyra. Criston then turned Aegon's attention to Rook's Rest for House Staunton had pledged their support to Rhaenyra as well.

Lord Staunton defied his attackers and dispatched a raven to Dragonstone. Princess Rhaenys arrived on her dragon, Meleys, but Criston's men attacked Meleys with scorpions, longbows, and crossbows in the Battle at Rook's Rest in 129 AC.

When Sunfyre, the dragon of Aegon II, arrived at the battle, the dragons fought a thousand feet above the ground. Meleys's jaws closed around Sunfyre's neck whilst Sunfyre had blown its great golden fire at Rhaenys. Neither dragons would ever fly again. Sunfyre had one wing half torn from his body, whilst his rider, King Aegon II, suffered several broken bones and severe burns. Rhaenys was found completely burned next to Meleys. After the battle, Prince Daeron, son of Queen Alicent, took Rook's Rest and put the garrison to death. The head of Meleys was brought back to King's Landing, inspiring fear amongst the smallfolk and causing thousands to flee the capital until the gates were barred by Dowager Queen Alicent.

Aegon was brought back to King's Landing, where maesters attended his severe wounds while he slept under the influence of milk of the poppy. Sunfyre was too large to be moved and was now unable to fly. The dragon remained at Rook's Rest, where guards were posted to keep him safe and fed. With Aegon unable to rule, Aemond assumed the style of Protector of the Realm. Aegon would soon die from his extensive wounds, at the same time as Sunfyre the Golden, the most beautiful dragon to ever grace the world, causing Aemond to take the throne.

The Dance of the Dragons lasted two years with many developments. Dragonseed, bastards of House Targaryen and House Velaryon, were given chances to tame dragons and become part of the Blacks army. Many people died, but four people had succeeded joining the Blacks in fighting.

The war was seemingly never ending. Whenever each side had come up with a great plan and was looking like they would win, the other would retaliate with equally clever plans such as the usage of the Triachy's hate for Daemon to break the blockade on the gullet.

But in the end, Dragonseed was barely able to win the war for the Blacks. Daemon waited in Duskendale for thirteen days. On the fourteenth day, Silverwing appeared with Aemond and his bedmaid, the pregnant seer Alys Rivers. With Alys on the ground, the dragonriders fought in the sky above the God's Eye. Their fight ended as their dragons, locked together, tumbled towards the lake. According to tales, Daemon leapt from Caraxes to Silverwing and drove a sword through Aemond's blind eye. The dragons struck the lake half a heartbeat later, and Daemon's body was never recovered, unlike Caraxes, Silverwing, and Aemond's body.

With both Aemond and Aegon dead, the Greens had submitted to the Blacks, and Rhaenyra's son Aegon 'the Younger" was finally about to take his place on the Iron Throne.

Aegon 'the Younger' took the throne and began his unshaky rule. Many houses suffered and many Targaryens and dragons died. The dragons of Westeros would be weakened for centuries. They were already weaker and smaller than the dragons of Essos, due to heavy inbreeding. The only reason why they were able to survive was due to Aegon 'the Younger' marrying a Veltigar and bringing new dragons with her to Westeros.

A/N: So I made a mistake. Sorry folks, I didn't realize the dragons didn't let anybody but their bonded ride them. That's my mistake. If I hadn't already incorporated that into my story I would change it, however, it is kinda too late so now in my universe, Dragons will also let close family members who are also dragon riders ride them.
