In just a few hours (noon), the opening ceremony will begin and I will be watching on screen just to see Prim (and Peeta). I felt like someone just punched my stomach, one step till prim might face death.
It was early in the morning, everyone in the house was asleep and I quietly went outside to the woods just to reassure my feelings and all the anger inside me. I arrived to the lake where dad taught how to swim. I just sat there singing 'the hanging tree', to my surprise it felt so quiet, no birds singing and no trees rustling at all. Soon there was a rustle behind the bush, I began pulling my arrows in case it was something to eat, slowly I walked towards the bush from there I could see some brown hair a rabbit I thought or possibly a deer which excited me a bit s I walked towards it closer the rustle became as I looked behind disappointed not to see any animals to hunt but an older boy.
He flinched and so did I, he was tall, had green eyes such a guy at all girls will fall in love except he is wearing filthy clothes. "Uh hi," I said studying his face again, "have I met you before?" "Maybe.. I think I've seen you in school before." he answered and stares at me dreamily. "What's your name?" he asked still staring at me. I looked around to see if anyone is around, your not really allowed to be in a place like this, if your caught you don't the hell know what they are gonna do. I whispered very quietly my name 'Katniss' I whisper, it was barely audible but I hope he got that. "Catnip? That seems familiar." he joked, I rolled my eyes but giggled after, "what's yours?" like me he looked around before answering "Gale"
He pulled out a rabbit caught from a snare "Hungry?". Before I knew I was sitting by the lake eating a fat rabbit beside I kinda cute guy name Gale and god knows what's going to happen. "So how you getting on Catnip?" he said breaking the silence. I looked at him confused. "The food or something else? If it's the food then it's great." he laughed "No… I mean your sister." For a few minutes I totally forgot about it, ever since she left, I've barely even talked to anyone about anything. That Stupid president snow has to make that rule. My smile turned into a frown and I just shrugged. Gale just kept quiet too. After I awful long silence I looked up to see that the sun wasn't facing in the east or west which it's noon. Noon. "shoot! I've gotta go, I'm about to see my sister heading her first step to death." "Wait! Lemme come with you." "O, alright."
