When they reached the square, the grimm had already began cornering civilians and attacking stores and buildings.

"Protecting civilians has to be our priority!" Ruby said as she extended Crescent Rose.

"Right" Blake said "Yang and I will focus on the right."

Yang nodded.

"Good" Ruby said "we don't know anything about the human grimm so try to learn all you can while fighting, maybe keep one alive. Let's go Weiss."

She ran off towards the left, but Weiss didn't move. Her dream was playing over and over.

"WEISS!" Ruby yelled.

Weiss shook her head and drew Myrtenaster as she ran after Ruby. Yang ran towards a group of people trapped next to a statue by several ursas. An ursa stepped forward and swung its paw at the terrified people.

"Blake?" Yang called as she ran.

"Right behind you" Blake answered.

"Bumblebee" Yang said.

Blake tossed Gambol Shroud to her, Yang caught it as she slowed down and waited for Blake to pass her. Blake stopped and dug her heels in as Yang fired Ember Celica, propelling her forward.

Blake spun her around in a circle, then yelled "now!"

Yang let go of Gambol Shroud as she was launched towards the ursas. She smashed into the grimm closest to the group of people fist first and skidded to a stop.

"I'll take the grimm, you get the people to the bank" Yang said "they'll be safest there."

"On it" Blake said as she ran up.

Yang swung her right at arm the ursa closest to her, the ursa was sent flying into the statue. Another Ursa stepped forward, leaned down and roared. Yang smiled as she hit it in the jaw with a left uppercut before swinging down with her robotic arm. The ursa's head smashed into the pavement and it immediately began to evaporate.

"Blake, go!" Yang yelled.

Blake ran over and said "everyone follow me! We have to get to the bank!"

Some of the people followed a few stayed behind.

"Please" Blake said "we have to get you to safety!"

Yang overheard a few people whispering about being safe behind her.

"We have to go" Blake said to the last few people huddled in the corner of the square.

Yang punched another ursa adding a blast from Ember Celica, sending it flying into the statue cracking the base.

Her eyes were red as she turned to the remaining people and yelled "go! NOW!"

The others began to run after Blake as she led them into the nearby bank.

"Ruby!" Blake called "get the civilians into the bank! Yang thinks it's the safest place!"

"Right!" Ruby replied "Weiss! move the civilians into the bank!"

Ruby was fighting the human grimm with Crescent Rose while Weiss began to back away with several people. Several of the human grimm rushed past Ruby.

"Weiss! Heads up!" She yelled.

Weiss spun around and put the tip of Myrtenaster onto the ground. A sheet of ice extended from the blade. The children in the group cheered as the grimm's feet were incased in ice and frozen to the ground.

"Move!" Weiss said as she looked over her shoulder.

The people behind her rushed to the bank. A beowolf rushed at Weiss. She immediately thrusted Myrtenaster through its neck.

The grimm took a step back and fell as Weiss said "never gets old."

"Last of the civilians coming your way!" Ruby called.

The people quickly ran between Blake and Weiss and into the bank while the huntresses provided cover fire.

"Heads up!" Yang yelled pointing towards them.

Blake and Weiss looked where she was pointing. One of the human grimm was running towards the group. Blake quickly took aim, suddenly a small child at the rear of the group fell. He grabbed his knee as tears ran down his cheeks.

"Mommy!" He yelled.

"Jimmy!" A woman yelled as she ran back towards the boy.

Blake lowered Gambol Shroud, not wanting to risk hitting the woman or the boy.

"Blake!" Weiss yelled "hammer to the nail!"

Blake quickly threw Gambol Shroud at the grimm, the ribbon wrapped around the grimm's waist. She yanked the grimm back at them, towards Weiss' awaiting Sword. The grimm was impaled on Myrtenaster. Weiss kicked the body off as the mother ran past them with the boy.

"All the civilians are safe!" Blake called.

"Weiss back with me!" Ruby yelled "Blake get back to Yang!"

Yang was finishing off a few ursas by the statue as Blake ran back to her. Weiss began making her way back to Ruby. Several of the human grimm rushed Weiss and began attacking. She created a small trail of glyphs behind her and shot backwards to avoid the attacks and create distance for a counterattack. Unable to look behind her, Weiss slid backwards and crashed into Blake as she was running back to Yang. The collision sent both women tumbling back. Both of them hit the statue, bring their tumble to a halt. The weakened and cracked statue finally gave way and fell as they hit it. Weiss turned in time to see the statue fall towards Blake.

"No!" She yelled as it fell.

Blake began scooting away as the statue fell towards her, unfortunately part of the statue fell on her lower leg, pinning her down. Blake cried out in pain as the heavy section of marble fell on her.

"Blake?!" Yang yelled as she turned towards the sound, only to be immediately slammed through a storefront by an ursa.

Weiss turned and saw several human grimm approaching her as several more cornered Ruby. She immediately began to panic. Her dream running through her head and the fact that half the team was down immediately sent her brain into a frenzy.

"RUBY!" Weiss called "Come here! Close ranks!"

Ruby looked back as her eyes widened. She disappeared in a cloud of rose petals and appeared next to Weiss. Weiss fired blasts of fire dust at the remaining ursas while Ruby kept her attention on the human grimm. With the last of the ursas in the area dealt with. Weiss and Ruby got ready to defend Blake.

"Where's Yang?" Ruby asked "she should have no problem lifting that stone off of Blake's leg."

"I don't know" Weiss said "an ursa knocked her into a building."

"What?!" Ruby asked.

Several gunshots rang out from Gambol Shroud behind them. Ruby and Weiss looked in front of them and saw several grimm laying on the ground.

"Focus!" Blake said "Yang will be fine. We all know how tough she is."

A human grimm charged them with a large club. Weiss pointed Myrtenaster at it and tried to use fire dust, but the cylinder was empty. Ruby quickly cut the grimm down with Crescent Rose. Weiss counted seven more human grimm closing in. Most of them were holding boney swords. Weiss' panic was rising quickly as she turned the dust cylinder to electric dust and pointed Myrtenaster forward as Ruby aimed Crescent Rose and reached for the trigger. One of the human grimm swung its sword. Weiss stepped back but the sword hit Myrtenaster knocking it to the side. The electric dust fired when Weiss accidentally pulled the trigger as the sword swung to the side. Weiss tried to regain control as a burst of lightning shot out of Myrtenaster. She was ready to bring Myrtenaster around again when she heard a scream. Weiss looked to the side and saw Ruby convulsing as electricity surged through her body.

"NO!" Weiss screamed as Ruby fell backwards next to Blake.

While she was distracted, one of the grimm lunged forward and knocked Myrtenaster out of her hand. Blake fired four more shots from Gambol Shroud before she and Weiss heard a click.

"I'm out!" Blake said "and I can't get to my spare magazines."

Weiss looked at the last three grimm closing in. She stepped forward and tried to punch one, resulting in a gash in her arm from a grimm's sword. She tried to kick them as one of the grimm swung its sword, catching her just above her eye. Blood ran into her eyes from the wound, temporarily blinding her.

"The dream" she thought to herself as she took a step back. "No" she said out loud to nobody as she wiped the blood out of her eyes "I'm not letting either of them die because of me."

Weiss stood directly in front of Blake and Ruby with her arms held out, using herself as a shield. One of the grimm stepped forward and raised a sword above its head.

"WEISS NO!" Blake yelled as Weiss closed her eyes and waited for death to take her.

The next few seconds seemed like an eternity. She heard rubble shifting beside her and a wall breaking. Suddenly, something slammed into her side, knocking her to the ground and knocking the breath out of her. She opened her eyes and looked where she had been standing. She would have gasped at the sight before her if she still had air in her lungs. Yang was standing in front of her holding her right arm up, using her robotic arm to block the deadly blade. Yang moved her left foot back slightly and brought her left arm back until her elbow was behind her spine and lowered her hips a little. Suddenly her hair lit up golden yellow as she brought her arm forward with everything she had. Her fist smashed into the grimm's chest, sending it crashing into the two behind it as all three of the grimm flew across the square and into a building on the opposite side. Yang spun around towards her teammates and gasped.

Weiss had tears in her eyes as she said "it's all my fault Yang. The dream and…and the mistakes I made I…I could have-"

She stopped when they heard Ruby groan and ask "what happened?"

"Ruby?" Yang said as she dropped to her knees beside her sister "Ruby are you ok? What happened?"

"I…I did it" Weiss said as she stood up "I accidentally electrocuted her with electric dust. After I knocked a statue down on Blake's leg. Then I lost Myrtenaster and was wounded trying to fight off the grimm. I almost got them both killed. I almost got myself killed. I knew what I saw in that dream was going to happen. That dream meant someone was going to die because of me. If you hadn't showed up when you did, we would have all been…been"

"Hey" Yang interrupted as she stood up "no need in thinking what would have happen if I wasn't here. I was and no one got a life threatening injury. Your dream didn't come true, ok? I don't think any of us are going to be crying around a dead body tonight. Everything is ok. Right?"

"Um…everything will be ok when this statue is off my leg" Blake said.

"Oh, sorry" Yang said.

She walked over to Blake and grabbed the chunk of statue and began to lift it off her leg. Blake pulled her leg out from under the statue. When she was clear, Yang put the statue back down.

"I…is it br…broken?" Weiss asked sniffling.

"Yang, can you help me?" Ruby asked as she unbuckled Blake's boot.

Yang nodded and began pulling the boot off as gently as she could.

When the boot was off, Ruby began gently feeling Blake's lower leg then said "it doesn't feel broken. Can you move your ankle?"

Blake slowly moved her ankle around and said "yeah, it's just sore."

"She's ok, Weiss" Ruby said as she stood up "her aura seems to have taken most of the damage. everyone is ok."

Ruby walked over and looked at the cut above Weiss' eye as she wiped more blood off.

"But my dream" Weiss said.

"Your dreams are no match for team RWBY" Ruby said smiling as she stepped towards Yang and untied the purple bandanna from her leg.

"Especially a mad Yang" Blake added.

Ruby nodded as she tied the bandanna around Weiss' head and over the gash.

"Let's go home" Yang said.

Ruby made sure the knot was tight then walked over to Myrtenaster. She picked it up and brought it to Weiss.

"My dream" Weiss said "I almost…almost got…"

Ruby put a hand on Weiss's shoulder and said "but you didn't. Let's go home, get everyone fixed up and then we'll talk about it, ok?"

Weiss nodded as she returned Myrtenaster to her side.

"Yang, can you help Blake?" Ruby asked.

Yang nodded and handed Ruby Blake's boot.

"I need that to walk home" Blake said holding her hand out.

"No you don't" Yang said smiling.

She slipped one arm under Blake's knees and one under her back and picked her up.

"I'm not a bride" Blake said blushing.

"Would you rather me put you over my shoulder?" Yang asked.

"No" Blake said "I'd rather wal-"

"Ok" Yang said as she started carrying Blake home.

Weiss watched them go and thought "maybe we are stronger than premonitions or fate" she smiled slightly "the bond we share is stronger than some predetermined fate."

She quickly started walking after her teammates.
