Disclaimer: I do not own Hero: 108.

AN: Based off 'Cell Block Tango' from Chicago. I do not own the lyrics nor the actions (which I took from the 'Cell Block Tango' clip I found on Youtube - which is why there isn't much description in the first half of Rattle Diva's speech)

Commander Apetrully's eerie face appeared in the spotlight. "And now the six married murderesses of Big Green Jail in their rendition of the Big Green Tango."

Pop.

A pale faced lady with short hair and blue lips appeared, her sky blue eyes maniac and furious. She leaned against the bars, expression on her face frightening. Mystique Sonia.

Six.

A more normal looking female appeared, pink skin looking the epitome of health. However, the look in her dark eyes said differently.

Squish.

This lady had darker, tanned skin. Her nails were sharp and pointed, her eyes narrowed dangerously. Alpha Girl Latifah.

Humbata.

Another lady appeared, equally pale but with green lips and eyes. She gripped one of the vertical bars, scowling. She was smoking a cigarette. Rattle Diva.

Lin Chung.

The final lady, the most beautiful one of them with her gentle face and long brown hair, let both arms dangle from the bars, eyes narrowed. Lady Green.

The women moved around in their cells, looking out with their eyes narrowed and hands tightly grabbing the bars in their excitement. They were wearing black clothing, tight against their figures, armed with pointed high heeled boots. They moved around in a seductive way, eyes crazed with insanity.

He had it coming
He had it coming
He only had himself to blame
If you'd have been there
If you'd have seen it

I betcha you would have done the same! Rattle Diva sang, almost roaring it in fury, arm raised and hand curling into a fist.

You know how people have these little habits that get you down. Sonia's cell door opened, and she strutted over to where a man was rising from the ground on a trap door. The man was handsome, tanned, with golden eyes and a muscular body. Mighty Ray.

Like Ray. She reached the man and placed a hand on his shoulder. Ray, he liked to chew gum. No, not chew. She swivelled her leg around and her face contorted into an ugly expression. POP. Her hand tightened on Ray's shoulder.

She reappeared in a flashback of sorts, where she was walking down the corridor, telling the tale to Rattle Diva, who was behind her. So I came home this one day and I'm really irritated. She lit a match and flicked it to the side. And I'm looking for a little bit of sympathy. She spat.

Sonia appeared back at the front of the cells, in a dancing pose with Ray. And there's Ray lyin' on the couch, drinkin' a beer and chewin'. No, not chewin'. Her hair flared out behind her as she snarled out the next word. Poppin'. She and Ray shifted position, where Ray was practically carrying Sonia with her legs hooked around his waist. So, I said to him, I said, "you pop that gum one more time..." She raised her hand threateningly, delicately forming a one with her fingers before placing it on her hip. She sighed, almost as if regretting it. …and he did. She got off Ray, arms still intertwined. So I took the shotgun off the wall and I fired two warning shots... She raised her leg high. ...into his head. She reached behind his head, pulling out red silk that resembled blood in the dim lighting.

He had it coming
He had it coming
He only had himself to blame

Ray backed away, almost crawling backwards as Sonia danced to him, holding the red silk taut in her hands as she sashayed towards him. He tried to get up and run away, but Sonia pounced on him and used the silk to strangle him.

If you'd have been there
If you'd have heard it
I betcha you would
Have done the same!

The next door opened, allowing Rosefinch to stride forward. I met Mano from the Air Force about two years ago. And he told me he was single and we hit it off right away. She walked to the man, allowing an arm to rest on his shoulder.

Another flashback of sorts occurred, with Rosefinch continuing her speech while dealing cards at a poker table with three other ladies. So, we started living together. He'd go to work, he'd come home, I'd fix him a drink. We'd have dinner.

And then the scene switched back to Rosefinch dancing with Mano. She now had both legs hitched on his wast, and Mano's arms were holding her up. Rosefinch was tugging harshly at Mano's hair. And then I found out. She pushed him down to lie flat on his back, with her straddling him. "Single" he told me? Single, my ass. She started the splits over Mano's still and compliant body, leaning down as she continued. Not only was he married...oh, no, he had six wives. She instantly snapped her body back up. One of those Mormons, you know. She began leaning down again. So that night, when he came home, I fixed him his drink as usual. She leaned down to kiss him, before pulling away, teeth clamped around a red piece of silk. You know, some guys just can't hold their arsenic.

Hah! He had it coming
He had it coming

Mano got up, almost as if to run away. But Rosefinch quickly grabbed on to his collar, leading him in a vicious and dizzying dance, mimicking that of Sonia's own dance with Ray.

He took a flower
In its prime

They twirled around their men, still holding on to the red pieces of silk. The men dipped them down, and then rose again, quickly sashaying to the side.

And then he used it
And he abused it
It was a murder
But not a crime!

The two couples continued their dance, heading to the right before turning around. The men lifted the ladies on top of their leg, twirling them around before setting them back to the ground just as the third door opened. Alpha Girl Latifah walked out of her cell confidently, immediately meeting the eyes of her deceased husband.

Now, I'm standing in the kitchen, carvin' up the chicken for dinner, minding my own business. She began to walk in circles opposite her husband, a tall fierce looking man. Mr. NoHands. And in storms my husband NoHands, in a jealous rage. She tapped the tip of her foot on the floor twice. "You been screwin' the milkman," he says. And she tapped her foot again, twisting her hips. He was crazy and he kept on screamin'. The couple's movements become faster, speeding up in intensity. "You been screwin the milkman." She leaps onto him, wrapping one leg around his waist and letting the other slide with NoHands'. She wrapped her arms tight around NoHands' neck.

The flashback occurs. Alpha Girl is seen washing her hands, looking in the mirror as she talked to the lady next to her. And then he ran into my knife. She turned to face the lady. He ran into my knife ten times.

Back in the scene, NoHands backed away from Alpha Girl rapidly, but a long piece of red silk is attaching himself to her, and she merely pulled him back, using her leg to twist the silk and force him to the ground.

If you'd have been there
If you'd have seen it
I betcha you would have done the same!

And then Rattle Diva twirled out of her cell, landing into the arms of her husband, a burly man who gave off the presence of being ungroomed. The Fruiter. An identical sister is back to back with her. My sister, Veronica and I had this double act and my husband, Fruiter, travelled around with us. Now, for the last number in our act, we did 20 acrobatic tricks: one two three four, five...splits, spread eagles. She lifted her arms, left hand clasped with her husband's while the other around his neck. Back flips, flip flops, one right after the other.

Rattle Diva's flashback occurs, with her sitting at the table and smoking a cigarette while talking to another man and having her pictures taken by a photographer. Well, this one night we were in the hotel Humbata, the three of us, boozin' and havin' a few laughs when we run out of ice. So I went out to get some. She waved her hand around to emphasise her point, being smiling as the camera took her picture with a bright flash.

She reappeared in front of the jail cells. I come back, open the door. And there's Veronica and Fruiter doing number seventeen. She pauses as the couple behind her, her sister and husband, demonstrate the position. The spread eagle. Her tone turned more honey and syrupy-like, almost like the way she must've described it to the officers who found her. Well, I was in such a state of shock, I completely blacked out. She slowly twisted her fists. It wasn't until later, when I was washing the blood off my hands, I even knew they were dead. She opened her hands, revealing lengths of red silk ribbons that spill out of her hands like blood.

They had it coming
They had it coming

Rattle Diva danced to the left, one hand against her husband's chest while he shielded her sister behind him.

They had it coming all along

He dipped her gracefully, before letting her go. She twisted around until both her hands were around her sister's neck and her husband's hands on her shoulders, trying to get her to let go.

I didn't do it
But if I'd done it

She twirled around rapidly, leaving her husband and her sister with their backs to the stage and began pushing them forward with large graceful steps. Her eyes were blown wide with insanity, hair flying backwards in all directions as her wig began to slip.

How could you tell me that I was wrong?

All the women present shoved their husbands to the front of the stage, before going backwards while forming a V-shape, with Rattle Diva in the front leading as they twirled and danced with startling synchronisation. She led the chorus, voice rough and powerful in the darkness.

They had it coming (They had it coming)
They had it coming (They had it coming)
They had it coming (They took a flower)
All along (In its prime)

They paused in their moving forward to twist left and then right, still energetically moving to the beat.

I didn't do it (And then they used it)

The four girls immediately started backing up as they continued their dancing.

But if I'd done it (And they abused it)
How could you tell me (It was a murder)
That I was wrong? (But not a crime)

Then, the girls turned to the back, where Lady Green was rising from the middle of their ranks, eyes glinting. I loved Lin Chung more than I can possibly say. A man with grey hair, pale skin and onyx eyes appeared behind her, wrapping his arms around her and kissing her hair. Lin Chung. Lady Green crossed her arms. He was a real artistic guy. She twirled around, clasping his hand and they began a dance in the middle of the girls watching. Sensitive... a painter.

Her flashback started in the mess hall. But he was always trying to find himself. He'd go out every night looking for himself. And on the way he found Ruth, she was returned to the stage. Gladys, Rosemary and Irving. She spat out the names like they were acid, one arm casually resting on her husband's shoulder. I guess you can say we broke up because of artistic differences. One of her hands slowly stroked its way to his head while the other wrapped itself around his neck. He saw himself as alive, she wrapped both hands around his neck. And I saw him dead. She growled, pulling out a piece of red silk from around her husband's neck. She tightened it around his neck, strangling him with it before kicking him away, where he started backing away.

The dirty bum, bum, bum, bum, bum
The dirty bum, bum, bum, bum, bum

Their fellow cell mates appeared, with the five girls taking the lead in their dance.

They had it coming (They had it coming)
They had it coming (They had it coming)
They had it coming (They had it coming)
All along (All along)
Cause if they used us (Cause if they used us)
And they abused us (And they abused us)
How could you tell us
That we were wrong?

He had it coming (He had it coming)
He had it coming (He had it coming)
He only had himself to blame (He only had himself to blame)
If you'd have been there (f you'd have been there)
If you'd have seen it (If you'd have seen it)
I betcha (You would)
Have done the same!

The five women were now returned to their cells, prowling it and grabbing against the bars as parts of their stories floated up to meet the others' ears.

You pop that hum one more time!

Single my ass.

Ten times!

Number seventeen - the Spread Eagle.

Artistic differences.

And then the din returned to the quiet whispers of before as abruptly as it had come.

Pop.

Six.

Squish.

Humbata. A puff of smoke followed.

Lin Chung.
