Shego took awhile to get out of bed. But finally the aroma of cooking pancakes reached her room, and she was able to find the energy to get up.

Stepping into the kitchen, she found Drakken turned away, facing the stovetop. Beside him on the counter was a plate with a stack of already prepared pancakes piled high on it. She noticed that, once again, Drakken's head was framed with six bright yellow petals. She smirked to herself.

"I see the flowers have made a reappearance." Shego teased, taking a seat at the kitchen table.

He turned around to look at her with a frown. "Yes... don't remind me." He grumbled through gritted teeth. Turning back to the stovetop, he slid a finished pancake onto the top of the stack.

"Aw, don't be so grumpy about it. I think you look kinda cute with petals."

Drakken turned to her again, a slight blush appearing on his cheeks. "You think so?" He asked, somewhat shyly. He turned away from the counter to stand in front of her, looking down at her. Seeing the smirk playing on her lips, his eyes narrowed. "Wait... are you being serious, or are you mocking me?"

Shego reached up and pinched one of the petals, gently pulling his head down to her level. She placed a small peck on his lips before releasing him, simply shrugging as an answer to his question. The light blush on his face darkened. His reaction caused her to smirk; she was loving this.

"Oh... So... well um..." He straightened back up, stumbling back over to the counter and turning his back to her. "The pancakes are ready... Oh, and I made you some coffee."

He heard the chair squeak across the floor as she stood up, and he felt a pair of small arms wrap around his torso. His breath hitched in surprise, remaining frozen as she embraced him from behind.

Shego, bringing her head up to rest it on his shoulder, spoke into his ear. "That's thoughtful of you, Doc." She placed a small kiss on his jawline and released him, moving away to grab a plate from the cabinet.

"And, ya know, you don't have to be so nervous around me." She grabbed a fork from the drawer and stabbed one of the pancakes from the plate. "I mean, we've been living together for years now. You act like this is your first time around a woman." She placed two pancakes on her plate, reaching for a mug to pour herself coffee.

"Well, it's different now." He looked down, attempting to hide the embarrassed blush he was once again wearing. "I'm... just not used to all the... touchy stuff."

Taking her plate and mug to the table, Shego sat down and raised an eyebrow at him. "Hmm, I figured you would be down with being affectionate."

"Oh I am!" Drakken reassured her, grabbing the plate with the rest of the pancakes for himself. "I'm just... scared that if I get too daring... you'll blast me or something." He admitted with a frown.

Shego wanted to be hurt by his statement, but she knew there was some truth to his fear.

So she simply shrugged. "Look, I can't promise that won't happen. But, we're in a relationship now. That means we'll be doing the physical stuff, right?" When he smiled and looked over his shoulder at her, she spoke again. "Oh, and I do mean all the physical stuff."

Drakken looked embarrassed and shocked at the suggestiveness of her statement, and Shego laughed out loud. Quickly resuming to what he was doing before, Drakken grabbed a glass from the cabinet and opened the fridge. His eyes scanned the shelves, and he suddenly gasped loudly.

"We're all out of cocoa-moo!" He exclaimed loudly.

Shego's arms crossed across her chest. "Well that's on you, Doc. You drink the stuff, not me." He looked back at her with a disappointed pout, his lip quivering. She sighed. "Relax, we can go to the store after we eat. For now, why don't you drink some coffee?"

He stuck his tongue out, his nose wrinkling in disgust. "No thank you. Too bitter."

"Suit yourself." She shrugged, lifting her mug and taking a sip.

"Rrrgg... I guess I'll just eat my breakfast without cocoa-moo." He grumbled, sitting across from her at the table. He still wore a bitter frown, crossing his arms and looking down at his pancakes in disappointment.

Shego's brow furrowed in annoyance. "Yeah, because pouting is going to make the cocoa-moo magically appear." Her tone was sharp, and he looked up sadly.

"Shego, now's not the time to be lippy. I'm hurting."

"Over cocoa-moo?" Shego huffed. Looking back into his sad eyes, she exhaled and rolled her eyes. "You are so lucky I love you, because you are being very annoying right now, and-"

The widening eyes and soft smile of Drakken caught her off guard, and she quickly found her annoyance dissipating. He opened his mouth to speak, but it took a second for words to come out.

"Do you mean that... when you said you love me?" Drakken asked shyly. His voice was quiet, but his gaze was warm.

She blinked at him and spoke in a plain tone. "Why would I have said it if I didn't mean it?"

He looked thoughtful for a moment, before sighing. "I'm sorry... I guess you're right."

"As usual." She chimed in, before taking a bite of her breakfast.

Drakken seemed to ignore her snarky comment as he continued. "I suppose that I'm just having a hard time believing... I mean... I never would have thought that... you would want to be with me." His voice grew quieter, and he looked away from her.

Shego couldn't help but feel a bit of sympathy for him. With a sly smile, she found herself standing up and making her way around the table to him. He dropped his fork and looked up at her curiously as she put her hands on his shoulders and pushed his chair back a little. In one quick motion, she pulled herself up on his lap and pressed their lips together. This kiss wasn't as passionate and intense as the ones they had shared the night before. Instead, this one was gentle, full of love and fondness. One of his hands found it's way up to her head, and he ran his fingers through her hair as the kiss lingered for several seconds.

She hesitantly pulled away, a little breathless when she smirked. "Are you convinced yet?"

His face still flush from the kiss, Drakken paused to contemplate his answer for a moment. "Hmmm... I think I could use a bit more convincing." He finally said, wearing a sly, evil grin of his own.

Shego grinned, his evil smirk making her heart flutter. She made a mental note that she should tell him how much she loved that smile of his.

She laughed and grabbed the collar of his shirt, pulling him in for another kiss.
