Hello my peeps! I know I know it has been quite a few years since I've written anything, much less posted. My life has just been getting in the way along with a few personal things. But my stories have always been in the back of my mind. Always looking to see what I can do. I was writing little by little and was finally able to post . I'm so sorry it's taken me so long I hope this chapter helps make up for it! Enjoy!

I do not own any characters from the story!

3 days had past since her fight with Koga and she hadn't heard anything about wolf demons or wolves attacking any villages. "Good. He must've taken my threat seriously."

Rin was walking through the forest looking for a place to rest a while since she was tired, as well as little sore. Though she'd never admit it to anyone.
She had gotten into a fight with Ogre and let her guard down for a split second. She knew she was being to cocky. He had managed to grab her and slam her into the ground and step on her.
She had smelt something in the air when fighting the ogre and it was a scent she couldn't seem to get out of her mind. Her demon had gone mad. She will never admit she had lost control. Her demon was being incredibly quiet as well. She kept wanting to track down that scent again but was holding herself back. Why the hell can't I get that sent out of my mind? Why are you so fixated on it?
No response.
Ever since she had ignored her demon self to follow the scent her demon self had been ignoring her. And apparently now refused to heal her injured ribs.
So she decided to stop to rest a while. Finding a big tree that had moss growing all around it she sat at the base of the tree resting her head on the moss, almost creating a pillow for her. She tried to take a few deeps breaths but was failing. Her ribs hurt way to much.
I'll just close my eyes for a few minutes maybe that's all I need.
A few minutes passed and she opened her eyes, feeling vulnerable and exposed. Her eyes hadn't come into focus yet, but she could swear she felt a bit of a breeze in an area she shouldn't be feeling a breeze. Did she damage her chest armour? Also she didn't remember the moss on the tree being so hard. It almost felt like the ground. Her vision focused and she turned her head, she was on the ground. When did she fall onto her back? Wasn't she leaning against the tree? She moved her legs a bit and felt a blanket around 's when she heard a voice.
"Well, hello there."
She jumped up and went to grab her katanas, but all she felt was her bare back, no cloth, nothing. "What the hell?" Was all she could think. When she looked up at the supposed intruder and saw a man dressed as a monk. He had violet eyes and black hair tied into a small ponytail. He had prayer beads wrapped around a hand. Definitely a monk. She could see where his eyes had traveled to her almost naked breasts. Her hair had fallen just in time to cover her. Not having her katanas seemed to throw out for a loop, she was confused and half naked.
What the hell is going on? Where is my top? And many more questions were running through her mind. She looked down because she felt something on her torso. She was bandaged. Her ribs did feel a little better since they were bandaged, but still sore. She figured she could still take on at least a human man. Although he was a monk, so that would make him just a tad more difficult than a regular man.
Rin took a step back and felt herself back into what felt like a tree, but then the tree spoke, "Just the girls poor luck, she exposes herself and Miroku happens to present."
After hearing this voice she went into full panic mode. She jumped up into an actual tree this time and looked down. She was in what appeared to be a campsite. There was a small fire and a couple of fish being cooked in the fire. She noticed it was nighttime by the glow of the fire.
How could I have slept through all this?
Rin let her eyes scan the entire site and they landed on the tree that had spoken to her. He was no tree. He had on a red kimono and long white hair. He had dark golden eyes and that's when her eyes landed on the 2 little triangles perched on top of his head. They were swiveling back and forth. Smelling the air Rin could make out he was a hanyu.
But his scent, it was extremely similar to that scent from the day before. It wasn't the exact scent, but it was so extremely similar.
For the first time since her fight with the ogre her demon had emerged. She could feel the tips of her fingers warming up again.

Something she hadn't felt since she refused her demon to follow the scent. She looked around the tree she was in and saw it began to bloom flowers at her touch. Her demon was back. She could feel her ribs healing at a quicker rate then they were before.
Oh thank kami your back, I can heal. I'll only need a few minutes and I can take on both the hanyu and the monk. The only problem was what had they done to her katanas? Rin scanned the campsite, but couldn't seem to find them. She could feel her eyes warming up, want to tear up.
"No" She yelled at herself in her mind. I will not show weakness. Even if they were the last thing that my master had given me before he died
She would just have to use her powers to protect herself. Something she didn't want to do. That would mean exposing herself. And by the off chance that one of them got away would know her kind were not extinct. She could recall what her master had told her about her kind.

"Rin, remember. You are quite possibly the last of your kind. Do not let anyone know what you really are. Elemental youki were the most peaceful youki. And many others took advantage of their kindness and beauty. You see the many trees and plants around you? They helped start that. They were able to create the flowers and trees, the many mountains you see around you. They would bring the rain to feed the plants when needed. They gave the humans flowers and foods they plant into the ground. But then they became greedy and took advantage of them. Lords would capture and hold them prisoners. Forcing them to create the most beautiful gardens, one trying to out do the other. But then the Elementals began to grow weary and tired from being forced to do it. So they stopped the rains and refused to grow anymore plants. The lords got angry and started to kill them. What they didn't know is that they weren't as peaceful anymore from the many years of abuse from the lords. There was a rising and the Elementals used there powers that were once so beautiful and peaceful for destruction and disaster. Great storms were brought, earthquakes were shaking all the land creating holes in the earth swallowing people.

When they were finally able to escape and leave the humans were terrified of them. Talking of the great powers they had. Demons began to hear the rumors and tried to kill them off as well. Fearing they would begin another uprising only for power this time. So they wanted to kill them off before they even thought of it. There was only one demon who fought for them. The great dog demon Inutasho. He did everything he could for them, knowing of their once peaceful nature. But then he died one night saving his mate. The other demons took that to their advantage. The Elementals, already with little numbers and they were hurting from the loss of a dear friend, didn't want to fight anymore. They surrendered and were killed instantly.
That was the last time anyone heard of an Elemental. Until you that is. You are very special child. That is why I am teaching you to fight and defend yourself without the use of your powers. Should anyone figure out what you are, they will surely try to kill you. So only use them as a last resort, ok? You are meant for something grand in this world. Now I don't know what but it must be something big. I thought it when I saw the bright light coming from the bone eaters well and you crawling out of it." He then bent down to the height of the now 10 year old girl and hugged her.
"Promise me Rin. Promise me you will never show your powers unless absolutely necessary? I know you are my student and I your master, but you are the closest thing I have to a child, a daughter. And I don't want you to put yourself in any unnecessary harm."
Rin wrapped her small arms around him as best she could and replied, "I promise"

Shaking her heard to rid the memory she took her hand off the tree. Just standing on a branch. I wont break my promise master. I will do what you told me and will use what you showed me.

Just then she heard a twig snap. She growled and turned to the sound. She got the sent of 2 human women and another demon.
Dammit! There are more! Have they found me out?
"SIT!" And there was a loud crash. She turned to where the hanyu was and saw him face planted on the ground.
"What the fuck wench?! What did I do now?!"
"SIT! Inuyasha, you know I hate when you use that word. Especially with me. And what did you do to her? Where is she? "
This girl looked to be about her age. She had blue black hair that was to her mid back. She had choppy bangs and was wearing strange clothes. And it hit Rin. It looks like things I saw people from my time wearing before I left. School uniforms. But what is she doing here? Did she come the same way I did, the bone eaters well?
And he is dog demon then. His name is stored that for future reference. She felt he may be important to her in some way. A connection to something.
"If you would just ask instead of coming in and pointing fingers Ka-go-me maybe I wouldn't have to! It wasn't even my fault. I came to check on her because I heard this pervert talking. She was already awake and standing. Miroku is the one who scared her with his oogling. I told you not to leave her in such an undressed state. But do you listen to me, nooo."
"So you were peeping again!? Hentai!" And the loudest crack could be heard. There was another girl maybe a few years older than she and Kagome. She had long black straight hair that just passed her butt. It was tied at the nape of her neck. She looked strong and yet delicate at the same time. Although her aura only gave off the strong part. She had slapped the one named Miroku.
"Sango my dear, you know I only have eyes for you." The one called Miroku said while rubbing his cheek with a bright red hand mark.
Kagome looked up at Rin and seeing her state. Inuyasha was right, maybe I should've covered her more. And her bandages are starting to come loose. It's a good thing her hair is so long.
"You know you can come down now. I promise this dope wont do anything to you. And I really need to fix your bandages. Please?"
Rin didn't know whether to believe her or not. But as she looked into Kagomes eyes she couldn't see anything malicious. Only pure kindness. Maybe she could trust her. At least a little. Rin grabbed her hair to gold it in place over her breasts and jumped down. Gracefully landing on her feet.
Kagome turned and looked at all the men, "Now can you please leave. At least for a moment. I need to fix her bandages. Yes Shippo that includes you."
Not having realized from all the commotion she forgot to check out the other demon she had smelt. He was a tiny fox demon with the cutest bushy tail.
"Awe Kagome. Do I really have to?"
"Yes you do you little runt, let's go." Inuyasha grabbed him by the scruff of the neck and stalked off, with Miroku in front of him.
"Good, now that they are gone can you sit down for me?"
"I don't need it, thank you. I'm already fully healed. I am a demon after all." Said Rin still looking around for her things.
Kagome tried to follow her eyes and knew what she was searching for. "Sorry, we took your things down to the river this morning to wash them. And your Katanas as well. We thought we'd wash them for you. Your Katanas had some blood on them. I hope you don't mind." Kagome went to her over sized backpack and took out her top and armour. When she handed them to Rin, and Rin quickly unwrapped her torso taking in a deep breath grateful her demon was back and had healed her. And then it hit her, What does she mean this morning? I fell asleep around noon.
"Kagome, how long was I out?"
It couldn't have been to long, could it?
"You've been out for 3 days. I'm surprised, you being a demon, that you didn't heal quicker. We found you and I just couldn't leave you there. Inuyasha could tell you weren't breathing alright. We fought about helping you. I just couldn't though."
Rin was a little taken back. Why would someone, a human none the less, want to help her? A demon.
Rin gratefully put on her shirt and then her armour. Kagome extended the Katanas to Rin and she put them back in their sheaths, feeling alot better and whole with them safely tucked away on her.
Rin bowed and softly said,"Thank you so much Miss Kagome for helping me. I don't know what would've happened to me if you were not kind enough to help me." Kagome then turned to Sango," Sango do you think you can go with the boys. I want to talk to..um... I'm sorry. I never asked your name."
"Rin, my name is Rin."
"I would like to talk with Rin a little bit alone."
Sango looked a little shocked. "Are you sure Kagome. She is a demon after all. What if she tries to do something to you?" Sango had a look of pure concern in her eyes. Not wanting anything to happen to her best friend. Meanwhile Kagome looked as calm as ever. "I'll be fine Sango. I don't think she'll try anything. And besides I'm willing to bet Inuyasha didn't go very far anyways. The first sign of trouble he'll come running."
Sango still couldn't believe her ears, but did feel better knowing she was right. Inuyasha would never let anything happen to Kagome. No matter how many times they fought they always made up and Inuyasha always made sure of that.
"Alright, just be careful Kagome." And gave a pointed stare at Rin.
After Sango disappeared through the think tree line Kagome turned to Rin.
"I'm sorry about that. She can be protective. Now I am a priestess so I knew you were demon from the start. But what I want to know is, how is it you came from my time? 500 years from the future?"

Whaaaaaat!? How does she know? What does she know?

I'll try my best to write more and post alot faster than every few years! Until then, laters!
