Hello everyone! I know it's been a very long time since I have updated anything. The thing is I was using my laptop but the memory ran out and I had to use a flash drive, and honestly I hate the things. But it was working for a while. Yeeeeaaah I lost the flash drive and I hated having to remember what it was that I had already written, so that left me with having to use my Ipod. I'd written about 2 chapters on there and the Ipod died and I had to replace it. The story didn't actually transfer over into the new one. So I took some time and wrote the last chapter on my phone. But after that a great many things have happened at home and the hardest part is taking care of my grandfather with cancer. He moved in with us and I am in charge of getting him to and from his different appointments, but he is starting to get better. Do not fret I have not forgotten about my stories. Or of you...if there is anyone left reading my stories. I ended up getting an external hard drive for my laptop and discovered google docs! I am beyond ecstatic right now. It feels good writing again. Well without any hesitation, here is the next chapter. PLEASE STAY SAFE OUT THERE EVERYONE. REMEMBER WASH YOUR HANDS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING! Although it's not anything new for me! Ah, one of the benefits of being an introvert. (:

"I'm sorry about that. She can be protective. Now I am a priestess so I knew you were a demon from the start. But what I want to know is, how is it that you came from my time? 500 years from the future?"

Rin's mind came to a complete stop. How the hell did this woman figure that out? Her heart sped up a million miles per hour, even her demon felt on edge. If she figured out her original timeline, what else did she figure out? Did she say something in her sleep? What if she somehow found out about her demon race? Rin remembers her master saying that she would sometimes talk in her sleep. This was not good. She was powerful, but not powerful enough to take on a hanyou, priestess, monk, small fox demon, and that other woman Sango. Who knows what she did, but she knew she couldn't take all of them at once. So she would have to do what her master taught her, play dumb. Fixing her expression as fast as she could, she turned to Kagome faking a confused look. "What are you talking about? That makes little sense. And what do you mean just like you? Are you telling me you're not from this time? That doesn't make any sense. How is that possible?" So I was right. She isn't from this time. I knew her clothes were from that time.

Kagome closed her eyes feeling a bit frustrated. Why would she hide it? I feel so excited to finally have someone to share this with.

Kagome slowly opened her eyes and looked at Rin. "I was thinking for the past few days, after I felt your demonic aura, I realized that it felt extremely familiar. I just couldn't pinpoint it. But last night I had a dream. It was a memory of a day almost 10 years ago. I was napping in my room when I felt a strange sensation pierce through my body. I remember being confused. I didn't know what it was. So I looked out my window and I saw a little girl running into one of our rooms. I saw a bright light coming from the same room and then I saw a man run into the room as well. He came out 10 minutes later looking really upset, but one thing I did notice was that the little girl never came out. I ran down the stairs to the room as fast I could and to the room. I looked everywhere for the little girl, but I didn't find her anywhere. I remember seeing the pictures of the little girl everywhere. And I dreamed about that bright like for a month. I never said anything, but couldn't get that feeling I had out of my mind and how angry that guy looked. After I had that dream last night I clearly remembered the little girl's face, and she looks exactly like you. They also said her name was…you guessed it, Rin. she even had a huge scar on her back from when she was in a car accident a year before her disappearance., When I was bandaging you I noticed that you had a huge scar across your back as well. Except yours isn't just the one line where your back has stretched over time. It's more like four lines that still line up to one large scar. I know that was you. I know because after my dream I remembered the exact same sensation from when I was a little girl. And the your aura is the exact same one, except a bit more mature obviously. So when I say that I know you are from my time, I mean I KNOW that you are from my time. I just don't know how you are from my time when I know for a fact that demons do not exist in that time. Inuyasha has been there before with me and he has never sensed anything either."

Rin didn't know what to say, she had been caught. What was she going to do?

I guess there's no point in denying it anymore. I've been found.

Rin couldn't look Kagome in the eye anymore, how could she face her knowing that she had been found?

"Yes, you're right. That was me." Rin whispered so low that if Kagome had not been so close she never would've heard her.

"So why are you hiding it? You know you were all over the news, there were posters everywhere, your uncle was going crazy looking for you. Do you know how happy that would make him if you were to come back? That's another question I was wondering, why haven't you gone back? I'm sure you know how to get back, so why haven't you?"

Rin raised an eyebrow and looked at Kagome with a look of astonishment. "You really like to ask questions, don't you?"

Just then Inuyasha came running in,"Sorry to cut the conversation short, but Sesshomaru is nearby and closing in. Judging by his scent he is not very happy."

Kagome took a deep breath, "What could your perpetually angry brother want now? What did you do this time Inuyasha?"

"What? Why do you always assume it's my fault? I haven't even seen him since the last time we saw him. For all we know she did something to him and he's looking for her! I told you we don't know anything about her." Inuyasha yelled while pointing at Rin.

"I think I'm just going to go. Thank you for helping me. But like I've said before I am completely healed now, and I am grateful for everything. Except maybe the whole monk eyeing me part. Thank you Kagome and take care."

Rin turned around and left disappearing into the darkness.

Kagome angrily turned to Inuyasha, "How could you do that Inuyasha? She was just about to tell me…" "Tell you what wench? It's true. We know next to nothing about her and here you are being best friends with her. There's something about her that doesn't settle with me."

Kagome slowly came up to Inuyasha and slid her index finger down his chest, causing him to blush. "What…. What are you doing Kagome?"

She smiled, looked up at him, and whispered, "Oh Inuyasha… Sit!" Having no time to react, Inuyasha slammed into the ground. Kagome turned and walked away to her friends.

She saw that Sango was already in her demon hunting clothes while Miroku was standing next to her, his staff in hand (hahaha I can't be the only one who thinks this sounds a bit dirty!) waiting for Sesshomaru to arrive.

Inuyasha was the last to enter the small clearing with dirt smudged all over his eye-brows making him look like he had a really dark long unibrow, when Kagome looked at him she couldn't help but snicker. "What is it now wench?" Kagome absolutely hated when he called her that. "Nothing nothing" I could be nice and tell him, but he could stand to learn a lesson.

Just as she was finishing up that thought, Sesshomaru slowly walked into the clearing. She couldn't quite make out his face, but she could sense his aura and there was something different about it. It was flaring a lot more than usual. "What the hell is wrong with you now? Did the stick go farther up your ass? Or did you finally try to get it out and it's stuck? I'm not helping you with that, although I am sure I could help tear it out with the help of my Tetsusaiga." Inuyasha said smugly.

Kagome rolled her eyes. There was then a small growl that made even her soul shake. "Sesshomaru?" Sesshomaru took a small step forward and that is when she saw his face. She heard a small gasp from Sango. Even she couldn't help but gasp. His usually kept hair was floating around a little dismayed, his eyes kept flashing between gold and red, his fangs were longer than usual, the lines on his face were jagged. Kagome had felt a bit sorry for him in the last year that she was traveling with Inuyasha and the gang. He was always alone, well as alone as you can get when you're followed by that toad demon. "Sesshomaru, is everything ok?" She tried to keep her voice from shaking, because honestly all she wanted to do was hide behind Inuyasha.

As she said that Sesshomaru appeared before her at an inhuman speed. He bent down at eye level with her. She blushed a little, who wouldn't, no matter how he acted she couldn't help but notice that he is very handsome. He took a long deep breath in and she felt Inuyasha getting angry. She turned to look at him and his face was red, he was showing his teeth in anger.

"Tell me girl, what is this scent that I am getting from you? It is stronger on you and it lingers around your camp." Sesshomaru growled out.

So that's the end of this chapter. What do y'all think? I actually have another chapter ready to go and I will try to type more up as I go. I will be trying to post a chapter every week.
