After following the scent for half a mile Sesshomaru knew he would come face to face with the owner of the scent at any second. He stopped in his tracks for a split second for he could feel something was wrong. He could smell 2 wolf demons coming up on the scent. But they smelt weak. Especially compared to that intoxicating scent. He felt pride blooming in his chest. After walking a few more minutes he came to an opening at a clearing and knew that the scent was here. Wanting to see what it was before going in he decided to hide out for a little in the darkness and watch. When he looked in he saw one of the wolf demons get kicked in the head and smash into a tree, knocking him out. He would be lying if he said he wasn't impressed. That was one hell of a kick.

He followed the path from where the kicked wolf demon flew from and that's when he saw her. Long dark hair flowing down her back like a waterfall, her long creamy toned legs and the way her breathing was so calm even after that attack. She doesn't look afraid in the slightest. And the aura she was giving off, it was strong and he liked that. Just then his demon growled one word in his head MMMMMAAAAATTTTTEEEEE! After hearing this Sesshomaru felt as if something was clicking into place, as well as possessiveness. As the wolf demon crouched down he couldn't stop the loud growl that bursted from his throat, threatening the wolf to back the hell away from his mate. He could practically see the shiver that when down the wolf demons back. Good. Sesshomaru slowly walked out of the shadows so that the demon could see him. Sesshomaru lived to see the shock and fear that goes through others' faces when they see him. He could feel her gaze burning into him, he wanted so bad to turn and get lost into the fiery gaze of his intended mate, but he did not want to give a show. He cracked his knuckles letting the green glow of his poison show, "Get your friend and leave, or prepare to die." One look into his emotionless gold eyes and the wolf demon knew that he was not someone who bluffed. The wolf demon straightened out and calmly said,'' You win this round girl, but heed my warning. I won't just be leaving the next time we meet." and he turned to walk away. Rin seeing that he wasn't going to help his brother yelled out to him, "Hey wolfy. You forgot something." she calmly walked toward his knocked out brother, stood in front of his unconscious figure and plucked him up with her thumb and index finger, and threw him at the other wolf demon. "And maybe give him a bath while you're at it." The wolf demon grabbed him and snarled at her. She simply smirked and watched him turn around and walk away.

Sesshomaru couldn't help but smirk as well. She is a snarky one. He turned to stare into the back of Rin's head. She could feel his gaze practically burning a hole into her head. She took in a deep breath and then turned around to face him. He had moved closer silently without her knowing and widened her eyes seeing him so close to her. She stared into his golden eyes, and felt she could just fall in and swim in them. They were emotionless, but she saw the wall and knew instantly that she would be allowed in if she wished. Sesshomaru felt the same thing looking into her dark-brown eyes. He wasn't a sappy romantic man by any means. But he felt if she were to ask for a star or the moon he would move heaven and hell to bring those to her.

Both of their demons were purring in content. Finally giving Sesshomaru's head a break. Not that he had noticed the pain from it since he laid eyes on this mysterious girl with the intoxicating scent.

Rin took in a deep breath and that's when the scent hit her. It was the scent that she had decided to ignore and made her demon shut down completely, making her mortal for a while. That was something she didn't know about. She wondered why her demon did that.

After a few seconds more she lost all train of thought, still looking into his eyes. And her demon took over, losing all sense of time, space and control, she shot her head up and kissed him.

Sesshomaru was not expecting her to attack him, but in all honesty he didn't care. Because when their lips touched there was a shock that went through his whole body.

He wasted no time in grabbing her by the waist and pulled her closer, as much as his armor would let him without hurting her. "Does my mate like what she sees?" he growled out in a husky voice. Rin turned an even darker shade of red. It was now Sesshomaru's turn to attack Rin's lips. Rin feeling the heat pool between her thighs and letting her demon keep control let her hands go to his stomach, feeling every ridge that was there.

Wanting to feel more though, she took off her armor and untied her shirt. This time it was Sesshomaru's turn to pull back and gaze at her beautiful body. He picked up her tired form and laid them on the grass. He went for mokomoko and used it as a pillow for himself and his now sleeping mate. He grabbed his shirt and used it as a blanket to cover them both. Rin turned in her sleep and put her head on his chest. Sesshomaru wrapped his arms around her and inhaled her scent from the top of her head. He definitely liked this scent. Hers was now mixed with his, and his was mixed with hers. Staring at the moon listening to his mate sleep, Sesshomaru thought about how he never imagined he would ever find his mate. Or that he even had one. And slowly his eyes shut as well, resting after today's events.
