The sun rose in the foggy morning at the Elephant Graveyard. The three hyenas were asleep.
Just then, Shenzi was shuddering in her sleep. She was having a dream.
(Flashback)
There was a fire. The Pride Rock was surrounded by a lot of fire. Shenzi, Ed and the hyenas were running through them. Suddenly, they saw a motionless body of the second hyena leader, laying in a puddle of blood.
"Banzai, no!" Shenzi screamed in horror. She ran over to him. Ed and the hyenas were following her.
Banzai wasn't moving. His eyes are closed and his body was limp. The hyenas stared in shock and sadness. Ed shuddered as he gulped.
"Banzai?" Shenzi called. "Get up, it's us, Shenzi and Ed... Please..." she pleaded. Banzai didn't respond. His mouth was shut with blood pouring down his black lips.
"Banzai, please! Don't leave!" Shenzi cried. But he still didn't respond. Her eyes burned with tears and she felt her heart shatter.
Shenzi nuzzled Banzai's cheek of his face and sobbed. Ed and the hyenas were in tears, and then they howled loudly. Just then, a loud roar came out of nowhere. Zira and her lionesses pinned down the hyenas, Shenzi and Ed. Then they reached their paws to kill them.
WHAM!
(End Flashback)
"Shenzi!" a voice cried out.
Shenzi woke up with fright. She panted heavily. Ed opened one of his eyes in confusion. Banzai was awake first. He stood up.
"Are you all right?" he asked Shenzi, rubbing his eyes.
"Yeah. Yeah, I just a dream goin' on," Shenzi moaned groggily.
"But anyway, I was thinkin' we are gonna do something for the morning. Y'all know what it is?" she asked.
"Oh, uhh... I dunno. Is it killing lions?" Banzai answered.
Shenzi snarled and then picked up a bone and then hits Banzai on the head.
"OW!" Banzai yelled in pain a little bit.
"Wrong, you dumb idiot, it's hunting time for breakfast.
"Breakfast?" Ed spat out, smiling.
"Yes! Now come on! Let's get breakfast." Shenzi replied.
"Oh, whatever," Banzai muttered grumpily.
Then the hyenas went out of the cave, looking for breakfast to hunt.
