Stef:
I hear a knock on my window and I look and I see it's Lena so I open it and let her in.
"Come in sweets."
"Thank you. Is that what you wear to sleep now?"
"Yeah, sweets."
"I like it."
"Thank you." I pat my bed for her to get in with me and I put my arms around her. "You okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine now that I'm with my best friend."
I smile. "I told you that we will still be best friends no matter how many friends I got."
"yes and I'm glad we are. I got something to tell you Stef."
"Okay, what is sweetie?"
"I started my cycle last month."
"Oh okay." I rub the top of Lena's hand and she pushes her body closer to my chest and I smile. "You okay?"
"Most definitely. My aunt gave me the same talk your aunt gave you."
"Anything Different?"
"No sex till I'm out of college."
"Okay. My friend Rachael invited me to a birthday party I would see if you can come to."
"I would like that."
3 months later I already had the winter dance David and I felt weird about it. I was at Rachael's house Lena couldn't come because she didn't feel comfortable letting her niece come to a middle school party of someone she didn't know even though she trusted me with Lena. We were in the basement not supervised the next day playing truth or dare and it was David's turn and he picked dare and Rachael dared him to kiss me so we kissed and he put his tongue in my mouth and I felt okay but didn't get a strong feeling and I sorta didn't like it. That's where I met Jessica and she got dared to kiss me with tongue and my stomach felt numbed and I kinda enjoyed it. It was my turn.
"Stef, Truth or Dare," Rachael said to me.
"Truth."
"based on the 2 people you kissed which one you like kissing better the boy or the girl?"
"The Girl."
We played for a few more hours and Rachael asked me questions like if I liked kissing girls more and if I would date someone younger then me and silly questions that I wouldn't answer anymore then I eventually went home and Lena came over and went into my room because she was sleeping over so we closed the door and locked it like always and I put the stereo on low and put boyz to men on. Then we changed for bed. I was wearing boxers and a tank top and Lena was wearing a nightgown and panties and we got in the bed under the covers facing each other and talked.
"Stef?."
"Yes, sweets."
"So how was the party?
"It was okay. You didn't miss much. We played spin the bottle and truth or dare and games like that."
"Okay. I missed you."
"I missed you to."
"Let's get some sleep."
"Okay."
We went to sleep.
