Lena:
Ever since Stef held me that night close to her in her arms I just wanted to be in her arms always. I know we're both kids but I don't know how to explain it but I think I'm falling for her. I know I need to explore more and try other people out first before jumping right into a relationship with her. I know I probably won't be able to date until I'm at least in high school but maybe just maybe I can date when I go into middle school. Maybe when I do start dating me and Stef can share the horror stories of the people we dated and I can try to win her heart.
I just wanted to spend even more time with Stef so I made excuses to sneak into Stef's room at night and go back to my room before my aunt got up to wake me during school nights. We would talk quietly hours on end. Rachael has seen how me and Stef are around each other and how we care about each other very much but never said anything to Stef but I know she will 1 of these days it just a matter of when. Stef decided to tell me she was going steady with Jessica I told her I was happy for her. I was so happy after they broke up after 3 weeks because I know I will get Stef for me now that I know she is single.
I would always save up all my allowance money to get Stef something special on her birthdays and Christmas. After that Christmas, I didn't see Stef around that much in the afternoon because she told me she joined the basketball team and she wouldn't be getting home till sometime after 5:30 when she did get home she had to do her homework and relax before she had to be in bed by 9 that's when I started sneaking over there at night during the week. The only time I didn't do it was when we had a snowstorm that night and I felt lonely.
A few weeks after she started basketball Stef told me she was dating someone I told her I was happy for her again. I started seeing this boy over there a lot and they kissed a lot. Every day that I saw them together for 3 months straight it was really killing me. I just wish they would break up already. The weekend before Stef's Birthday I saw Travis over there and I saw Stef was upset about something right when Travis left so I decided to go there and comfort her.
Stef:
After I had my first kiss with Jessica. Me and her went Steady for about a month but all we did was kiss a few times but never made out. After Christmas, I joined the Middle School Girls Basketball Team. There weren't that many Sports teams in Middle school. I made a good amount of friends since in middle school we started changing classes every period so it was a different people in every class. There were 3 Lunch shifts by grades. Where in Elementry school we were in the same classroom for all the main subjects and just out for lunch and Special classes like gym music and art. I met Travis since he did the boys Basketball so we dated for while since we both liked basketball. We were in my room relaxed making out he was in 2 grade above me so he was more experienced than me. He tried touching me in places I wasn't feeling comfortable with so I pushed him off of me.
"I think its time for you to go home."
"Fine baby. I will see you Monday."
"Yeah."
Travis leaves and I lay in my bed my bedroom door is unlocked and Lena comes over and she comes in my room and locks the door and lays behind me and puts her arm around me.
"Stef? Are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine."
"That's good. Wanna play some video games?"
"Sure."
We played some video games for a few hours.
"How are you and Travis?"
"Were okay."
"Just okay?"
"Yeah it's not serious but I think he wants more."
"Why you say that?"
"Because he wanted to do more stuff then make out and I'm not ready for that type of relationship."
"It's okay if you are not ready."
"My body is still developing."
"I know. So what are you going to do on your 13th?"
"I'm having a boy-girl party in the backyard and barbeque and my mom's coming."
"That's great. Are Travis and Rachael coming?"
"Yeah. What you doing Wednesday afternoon?"
"Just studying. But you never get home til after 5."
"I have a game that afternoon at 4 and I was hoping you can come and watch my game."
"I can ask my aunt but i'm sure she will let me come to it."
"Let me know when you ask her."
"I will."
That Wednesday I had my game and Lena was allowed to come to my game and I played my heart out and we did very well and we won the game so some of us went to get burgers and shakes after the game to celebrate. Lena's aunt trusted me with Lena and I been taking the public bus for about 6 months and Lena never took it before.
"Ready to go catch the bus so we can get home."
"Sure."
"You guys sisters?" Monica asks
"No were best friends and neighbors."
"Oh, That's nice."
"She starts middle school next year."
"That's great."
"We gotta go though"
Me and Lena go and catch the bus and we get home around 8:30 and we both work on our homework in both of our houses.
