Stef:
It was 4th of July weekend and they were having a carnival by the boatyard where they have the oyster festival every year so my aunt dropped us off and said she will pick us up at 10 so we walked around the carnival and we played the games. We went on a few rides. We watched the fireworks and some of my friends came up to me.
"Hey, Stef" Victoria said.
"Hey, Vic."
"Who is this pretty lady."
"This is my best friend Lena."
"What grade?"
"6th grade," Lena said
"That's nice. I'm in 7th with Stef but Stef is older than me by a year."
"That's cool."
"I'm also a cheerleader."
"A Cheerleader? I thought that was only high school."
"I thought that too but our middle school has it not all the middle schools have it though."
'Oh okay."
"How would you like to try out for it."
"Sure."
"Stef can we talk for a minute?"
"Sure." I pull out a 20. "Lena can you get us a funnel cake well I talk to Victoria for a minute."
"Sure."
She goes and gets us a funnel cake.
"So Vic what's up?"
"So, Lena just your friend and nothing more."
"Yeah, why you ask?"
"She is very beautiful. Do you think she would hang out with me?"
"I'm not sure but it wouldn't hurt to ask."
"Maybe I can ask her out."
"Whoa, Vic. You just met her today. Get to know her first."
"You jumped into a relationship with Jessica right away."
"I'm just looking out for her because she's my best friend."
"I will be nice to her."
"If you hurt her I will hurt you."
"That won't happen."
"Better not."
Lena comes back with the funnel cake and Lena and Victoria talk to each other for a bit and Victoria tells Lena that tryouts are the second week of school. I was glad that we were going to be in the same middle school even though we may not see each other that much because the 7th grade classes were separated from the 6th grade and 8th grade classes I hope we can be in the same specials classes because I know we won't see each other during lunch unless a miracle happens and they change that this year so I can see her during lunch. When we got home and went into my room and locked the door like we always do and got under the covers.
"You okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine."
"That's good sweets. You start your summer reading yet?"
"Yeah, I'm almost done with it."
"Already?"
"Yeah. What about you?"
"I have 4 books to do still."
"Okay. Is Victoria a good person?"
"Yes. She's a good person"
"Would it be wrong if I dated her or any of your friends because they're your friends?"
"No, it wouldn't be wrong at all if you dated my friends."
After we talked we went to bed. The rest of the summer we finished our summer reading and we hung at the arcade a lot and got ready for school for the fall.
