Set in the months after the 'death' of Gregory House. Despite being married with a young son and Head of Emergency Medicine in a top Chicago hospital, Allison Cameron is struggling to come to terms with the death of House.

Set after 'No Reason' (S2), House must work through the immediate consequences: near death, successful ketamine treatment, hallucination. But he's not the only one for whom the shooting has caused a questioning of previously settled realities—Cameron is beginning to accept what she wants more than anything else. No matter the past, a future is always something worth fighting for.

Written for New Year, centered on Martha M. Masters. Six snapshots, some of them taking place before canon, while the last two adhere to the AU explored in my stories "Pain and Relief" and "Family Complications". Rated M for a dubious consent scene in the middle, although not really graphic.

Things go awry when House forces Cameron to accompany him on a mission to find clues to their case in their patient's house, leaving them stranded in the snow after dark on Christmas Eve. Accepting that they have little choice but to find somewhere to stay for the night, some truths come out when they're stuck sharing a room.

When he loses a patient after a building collapse, House decides he's done with medicine and with PPTH and heads off to find happiness somewhere else. But will he? Especially when Cuddy just can't let go of the fact that he's gone and enlists Wilson's help. Read on :D

Wilson's got a thing for thin lips, witty sarcasm and a diagnostician who has an eagerness for Wilson being all right medically. Sure, fainting spells weren't exactly the way he wanted to go about confessing that love, but what could he do? House follows suit on trying to ascertain why Wilson's heart is suddenly going a'flutter.

Gregory House isn't one for emotion - clearly. So when out of the blue a 23 year old girl appears on his doorstep claiming that she's his daughter and that she needs to stay, he doesn't really know how to feel. Things get even more complicated as she goes to the hospital with him everyday, she then falls for Dr Chase and her dark past slowly catches up to her...

The moment he stopped breathing, it was like someone had taken him out of his body and irreparably changed the course of his life's trajectory. Or, how Wilson has to learn how to breathe again at the same time House learns they exist separately from each other yet always so intertwined. Total AU by the way, probably pre-S7.
