It was another early morning in the Nordic household everyone sleeping peacefully or so Tino thought. Tino slowly began opening his violet eyes as he turned to face the window only to see soft white snow falling outside, it was normal to snow a little during this time of the year, but it seemed like too much to be falling around now. 'Oh, it's snowing it's a bit early this year...' A quick wave a coolness suddenly washed over him causing him to shiver 'Ah...so cold...' He then heard a quiet shuffle next to him.

"Fin..." Berwald muttered quietly.

"Yes Su-San?" Tino tilted his head in the direction of his husband Berwald. "Oh? Sleeping talking?" He asked himself.

"Hey Su-San what kind of dream are you having?" He quietly said to Berwald making sure not to wake him.

Inside the dream...

It snowed heavily outside crunching underneath his large boots it seemed like he had been walking forever.

"Fin!" He called out looking for his 'wife.'

"Papa!" Peter shouted running towards his father Berwald.

"Sea-"

"I thought you had been crying..." Peter cut off Berwald. Everything stayed quiet for a few moments.

"My tears don't fall," Berwald said bluntly looking down at his son, "If he..if he was..gone..." he muttered trying not to let Peter hear.

"Hey!" A loud voice called out, "I said hey! Berwald!" The figure that called out soon emerged from the shadows to reveal Matthias.

"Den?" Berwald turned his head around swiftly to meet eyes with Matthias.

"I'm talking to you Berwald!" Matthias planted himself in palce while Berwald began walked towards Matthias, a stern look on his face.

"Papa...?" Peter asked. Berwald suddenly stop in his tacks and looked down at his hands.

"Hey! I've been calling for you. What are you doing? Pick up the pace!" Matthias yelled at Berwald.

"Papa..." Peter knew something was off, but he couldn't tell what.

"Fin..." Berwald muttered putting his head into his hands trembling slightly.

"Papa! Go to him!" Peter shouted his shaky voice on the verge of tears.

Dream end.

Berwald suddenly sat up without warning.

"Su-San?" Tino would turn to look at Berwald it was strange how he was just sitting there.

"Sorry," Berwald turned his head away from Tino.

"I'm just fine Su-San," he paused, "I'm alright." Tino glanced out the window to look at the snow.

"The snow it really is lovely," Tino smiled brightly at his husband who had already began to lay down again. 'Seems like he's sleeping well' Tino laid down next to his Swedish lover and stared at his sleeping face, it was a lot less scary to Tino than his awake face was.

"Su-San..Eh?" Tino sat up once again and saw a small tear roll down one of Berwald's cheek, soon multiple tears began flowing. "Su-San's tears...it's been about a hundred years since I last saw them..." he stared down at Berwald's sleeping figure and thought for a bit before wiping away Berwald's tears with his finger. 'I wonder...what sort of sad dream are you having...?' Tino kept looking down at Berwald before finally deciding to wake him.

"Su-San," Tino said quietly, "Su-San!" Berwald slowly opened his eyes and looked at Tino.

"Su-San um...Good morn-" Tino's sentence then got interrupted by Berwald hugging him. It took a second for Tino to realize he was being hugged but once he did, he hugged back. 'Somehow it feels like I'm being depended on...he's a bit heavy though'

"Fin..." Berwald quietly said.

"yes?" The Finnish man tilted his head to the side.

"If ya weren't here. I wouldn't be able to keep living," tears welling up in his eyes again burying his face into Tino's shoulder.

"S-Su-San...!?" Tino began blushing.

"Fin..." he buried his face further into Tino's shoulder, "So please...stay beside me..." everything stayed silent for a few moments before Tino spoke again.

"Su-San..." Tino was then pushed onto his back underneath his larger Swedish husband. He'd look up at Berwald 'Is he awake?' their eyes met each other.

"Fin... don't leave me please," his tear-soaked eyes would open slowly.

"...It's alright," Tino smiled slightly at the man above him before he felt more tears fall onto his face from Berwald. The Swedish man's soft cries had turned into heavy sobs 'H-he's crying harder...' Tino gave a concerned look to Berwald.

"The truth is..." Tino began, "Without you I wouldn't be able to live either."

"I... I'm sorry...sorry," Berwald wept.

"Su-San...I will always be beside you I'm not going anywhere," Tino consoled Berwald. H then raised his head to kiss his husband's forehead before wrapping his arms around his neck.

"I've seen something good today by seeing Su-San's tears," Tino smiled up and Berwald. He seemed clueless about what Tino had said before it hit him.

"Didn't want you to see..." Berwald buried his face into his hands to try and hide the blush spreading across his cheeks.

"What kind of dream were you having?" Tino sat up tilting his head to the side.

"..Ya has gone somewhere far away," Berwald spoke his eyes drifting away from Tino's

"Su-San..." Tino looked at Berwald with a sad expression before pulling Berwald into another hug, "Did...did I die in your dream?" Berwald didn't respond to what Tino had said but only hugged him tighter.

"We'll surely live a long life together even if that other person dies in your dream, I'll still live a long life," Tino rested his head on the taller man's shoulder and rubbed his back slowly.

"Fin..."

"It's alright now," Tino was trying his best to help Berwald calm down 'Even though it was just a dream...it was scary...' that was the only thing he could think about now, how scary and how real the dream had felt.

"I'm right here," Tino pulled away from the hug and cupped his hand on Berwald's cheek. Tino stare into Berwald's beautiful blue eyes before pulling him in for a short but passionate kiss. They pull away from each other so Tino could speak and before they got too carried away.

"It'll just be the two of us like always right Su-San?" Tino pulled him in for a hug, "Look outside Su-San see? The snow is lovely..."

Authors note:

Hello once again! Yes, it's another authors note..anyways, this story was completely based off of a doujinshi I read. At the moment I can't remember which doujinshi it was from since I wrote this a few days ago, but if I do find it again I promise to but a link here :)
