Thanks to KHLegacy and Riku Uzumaki for their reviews on the last chapter. Now that Halloween came and is long gone, the Fair's Fourteen is ready to get their vengeance on the jocks. But what reprecussions will come from it.

"Revengeance": The Hidden
Friday, October 1st, Ven's room...
Roxas, terrified of Ventus mood swings and persona changes, stood in the closet, holding a via of water. It was labeled "Holy Water" and he bought it from a local parish. He was told by the priest that it would work against evil demons and darkness. Believing thoroughly that his brother was demon-possessed, Roxas bought five of them, just in case if the first four didn't work.
As he waited in the closet, Roxas began plotting how he was going to toss the water. He wondered if Ven would react to it, besides with anger and rage. He then hoped that his brother wouldn't try to kill him.
"Uh...Roxas? Roxas, where are you?" Ven called out.
Roxas didn't hear the door to the bedroom open and the teen began to panic. He opened the bottle and thought, 'What did the priest say to do? Oh yeah!'
The closet door opened and Roxas began tossing the water at his target. Screaming, Roxas bellowed, "The power of Christ compels thee demon! HOLY WATER TOSS!"
Ven was hit by the first bottle's contents and Roxas opened the others, throwing at him one by one. Moments after doing so, and getting the water in his eyes, Roxas thought that his job was done. So, he said, "There! Now that demon, Vanitas, should be gone out of ya, Ven."
The air grew cold and Ven bellowed, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?"
"Um...Uh..." Roxas stammered.
"Vanitas" glared at him and Roxas prayed that he wasn't going to die that day. Instead, "Vanitas" looked at him, closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He sighed and Ven said in a calm voice, "Sorry about that..."
"Uh...So, are you possessed or something?" Roxas asked.
Ven looked around and said, "Don't think so..."
"Then what's with the mood swings and evil voice and the demonic self called 'Vanitas'?!" Roxas asked.
Ven looked around again and said, "Well, that's still me...just angry and stuff. Like the 'Hulk'!"
"Still...The power of Christ compels thee!" Roxas yelled, tossing another bottle of holy water.
Ven ducked and the water hit his hair. He then snatched the bottles from his brother and said, "Can you quit it with the holy water already?"
"I'm just trying to make sure that you're not possessed by an evil demon or something!" Roxas yelled.
"Well, I'm not!" Ven yelled.
"I can't be sure if you're lying or not! Demons lie a lot!" Roxas bellowed.
"I'm not possessed or anything!" Ven retorted.
The bedroom door opened and Eraqus entered, finding the twins arguing. He called for the boys to stop, to which they did with glares. He then asked them what was going on and Roxas said, "Well, I was hiding here in the closet, waiting to strike the evil demon in Ven with holy water. The priest said it would work! But nothing happened!"
Eraqus sighed and said, "Stop throwing water at your brother."
"It's Holy Water!" Roxas yelled.
The man glared and the blonde muttered, "Okay. Okay. But don't say anything if Ven starts floating in the air and stuff starts flying off the walls."
Later, Radiant Garden H.S., Prof. Sazh's classroom...
Zack, grinning, looked around and saw eight of the Fair's Fourteen, the Jenova Brothers and the JROTC. They were getting ready for the operation that night, finalizing plans and gathering items. Zack nodded and said, "Okay, we'll commence Operation: The Hidden at 10 p.m. at the old toy factory. Everyone synchro your watches!"
Ven, Roxas, Yuffie, Vivi, Eiko, Isa, Lea, Demyx, and the Jenova Brothers did so, setting alarms on their phones. Afterwards, Zack grinned and looked to the ghost of Freya. The specter floated at his right and smiled sweetly.
"So, what do you want us to do?" he asked.
"Try not to get hurt or anything like that. I'm a ghost. I can't be responsible for anything happening to you guys," the specter said.
"Uh, so wear armor or something?" Kadaj asked.
Freya nodded and told them to prepare for the worst. Vivi quickly yelled, "I don't like this! Can't we get them another way?"
"Nope! Remember the plan! We'll CRUSH OUR ENEMIES! MAKE THEM TREMBLE BEFORE US AND HEAR THE LAMENTATIONS OF THEIR WOMEN!" Ven bellowed, eyes turning yellow and his becoming "Vanitas" once more.
Everyone fell silent and one of the JROTC muttered, "Um...does he do this often?"
With Terra and Angeal...
"I knew it!" Terra yelled, stopping in the middle of Radiant University's campus square.
The raven-haired Angeal turned and said, "What's wrong?"
"I knew my bad feeling was right!" the brunet said, staring at a message on his phone.
It was from Roxas, who warned Terra that Ven and the others were going to pull a massive prank on the jocks. He also texted him on how he felt something really bad was about to happen and that he wanted Terra and Aqua to help stop it. Terra told Angeal and the young man's face paled.
"Is Zack among them?" Angeal asked.
Terra texted Roxas, to which Roxas quickly responded.
"Uh...yeah. He said nine of the 'Fair's Fourteen', if you include Zack, the Jenova Brothers and the school's JROTC are all participating. And he said that they'll be in the old Itoi toy factory," Terra said.
His friend's face paled even further and he said, "Isn't that the guy who made...?"
"The 'Mother' games and toys? Yep. And it just so happened to be haunted...Crud..." Terra muttered.
He then called, Aqua, who in turn called Sephiroth, who was home on break from training. The four agreed not to tell the other children's parents, as long as they could get them to stop such a prank as they remembered the rule of Radiant High. Prank wars don't end until one is left standing.
10 p.m., abandoned Itoi's Toy Factory...
Under the harsh moonlight stood the empty Itoi's toy factory. It was a massive factory, filled with old machines that was covered in cobwebs, dust and rust. Several conveyor belts, lined up in rows, sent the toys into the machines during its heyday and were completely rusted.
The eight of the Fair's Fourteen, Jenova Brothers and the JROTC found various hiding spots where they could lie in wait as they awaited for their prey, the jocks, to enter. After ten minutes, Ven was bored out of his mind and asked, "Okay. Are you sure they're gonna come?"
"Yeah. They will. I pretended to be their teachers and everything," Freya said, floating near him.
Hearing the sound of a door opening, the group readied themselves for the prank. Freya, however, had other ideas. She lifted up her hand and a powerful wave of energy engulfed the old factory.
A few moments ago with Terra, Aqua, Angeal and Sephiroth...
Terra and Aqua, who pulled up in her car, stood in front of the old Itoi factory. An eerie chill was in the air and Terra thought to return home and pretend he saw nothing. Aqua wanted to go in and stop Ven and the others from trying something that could get them expelled or sent to prison. Moments later, a group of school kids, Aqua recognizing them as the jocks of Radiant High, jumped the fence.
"Uh, so those are the new jocks?" Terra asked.
"Apparently. Ven did say that one of them had fuchsia hair like Lightning. And that another was a blonde cheerleader," Aqua said.
A few minutes later, Angeal and Sephiroth arrived, with Angeal being on a motorcycle and Sephiroth pulling up in an SUV. The silver-haired young man was armed with his katana, to which Terra and Aqua's faces paled.
"Uh, Seph? What are you doing?" Aqua asked him.
"Just in case...I'm not going inside of a haunted factory without it. And holy water," Sephiroth said, holding up a large bottle of water labeled "Holy Water".
Angeal held up a bottle of olive oil, claiming it had demon slaying properties. Terra stared at them, wondering if they had lost it. He turned to Aqua, who had a crucifix and some stakes. He wondered where she had them and was about to tell them that they weren't going hunting for vampires when a wave of energy engulfed them.
Inside the Itoi factory...
Roxas gulped as he found himself in a better lit version of the factory they were in. He was dressed in what looked like a SWAT team's uniform and was armed with a rifle. An earpiece was in his ear and he heard, "Uh, what's going on? WAAH! WAAH!"
"Vivi, calm down! Just stay calm!" Yuffie yelled.
"Hey! I see you guys!" Zack yelled.
"Uh, I don't see you!" Eiko cried.
Roxas saw someone short with purple hair cowering in a corner. He rushed to her and Eiko cried, "Roxas!"
She hugged his legs and asked, "Where are we?"
"I don't know, but I think Freya tricked us," Roxas told her.
"Ya think!" Kadaj bellowed.
"Oh hey! Marluxia and the other jocks are here!" Loz said, somewhat happy.
An evil laugh filled the air and Roxas heard, "YES! We'll get revenge! REVENGEANCE!"
"WOO! Larxene will pay for what she did to my new sitar!" Demyx cheered.
"Not again..." a JROTC, noticing Ven's change into "Vanitas".
Yazoo sighed and said, "People please. Let's not lose our minds over revenge and try to find a way out of here."
"Stay together in groups people!" another of the JROTC said.
"I'm with Yuffie, Zack and Lea!" Vivi said.
"Yup. Gonna make sure he doesn't trip over his own feet if something suddenly wants to chase us," Lea said.
"And I'm going to make sure he doesn't lose all masculinity by screaming like a little girl," Yuffie chided.
Roxas heard Lea grumble and mutter, "I don't scream that high."
"I'm with my brothers," Yazoo said.
"And where did we get these guns from?" Kadaj asked.
"And where's Isa? I don't see him! Isa!" Vivi asked.
"He's with Ven and Demyx. I think they're gonna go through with..." a JROTC said.
Another chill filled the air and the sound of someone screaming was heard. Eiko latched onto Roxas' leg, not wanting to get killed. Remembering the Holy Water he brought, Roxas looked to the younger and said, "Stick with me, Eiko. We'll get outta this alive, 'kay?"
A voice was heard and it sounded like the infamous "Prankster" from the show "ManBat Chronicles". Eiko dug her nails into Roxas' leg and he winced as the voice said, "Well look at this..."
"AAH!" she screamed.
"Isn't this interesting...?" the voice said.
Roxas aimed his gun at where he thought the voice came from and shot. Instead of bullets, small pellets came out and it told him that it was a B.B. gun. Moments later, he heard, "OY! Stop shooting at me! YOU TWIT!"
The blonde teen's face turned white as he saw that Marluxia had found him. The fuchsia-haired mob boss glared and stomped towards him. Roxas trembled and said, "So-Sorry about that. Please don't kill me!"
"Yeah, we thought you were the evil voice guy!" Eiko said.
Marluxia, once close enough, yelled, "Why would you shoot?!"
"Uh...Eiko just said..." Roxas started.
"Still, you only heard a voice. You didn't see anything! So, why shoot?" Marluxia bellowed.
He then snatched Eiko's gun from her and said, "Let a professional handle this."
"Uh..." Eiko said.
"Don't ask..." Roxas told her, trying to protect her from the knowledge of the mob.
The voice was heard again and it said, "Marluxia Acerbi...the boy who lived! Comes to DIE!"
"I'm not trying to die, demon!" Marluxia bellowed.
He aimed his gun everywhere, causing for Roxas and Eiko to duck.
'Oh, this is just great...' Roxas thought sarcastically.
Something that looked like a dodgeball came out of nowhere, hitting Eiko square in the face. She screamed as she was hit and disappeared.
"WHAT THE...?" the boys screamed.
"One down, two to go..." the voice said.
Roxas and Marluxia stood back to back, hoping that they wouldn't get attacked.
With Yuffie, Zack, Lea and Vivi...
The four crouched in a single corner, each looking in different directions for the owner of the evil voice. Zack told them that it would increase their chances of not getting killed by said owner. It laughed at them and said, "Oh, look at that. You all are so close to me...It's like...I can feel...your heartbeat..."
"Shut up!" Lea yelled, creeped out.
"Yeah! Quiet, evil voice dude!" Vivi added.
Yuffie stood to her feet, looking around for the owner. She aimed her B.B. gun and thought she saw something out of the corner of her eye. She was right as a dodgeball hurled towards her, hitting her in the face and having her disappear in a shower of light.
"AAH!" Vivi screamed.
"What the...?" Zack yelled.
Poor Vivi began crying, terrified at what he saw.
"Well, Vivi's not sleeping tonight..." Lea said.
"I don't think any of us will for the next several months..." Zack told him.
"Oh, there you are..."
The three's stomachs lurched as Braig had found them.
With the Jenova Brothers...
"I'm not in my happy place...I'm not in my happy place..." Loz cried, rocking back and forth in a corner.
Kadaj and Yazoo, aiming their weapons at the lone entrance leading to the main room on the second flooor, had watched carefully for any dodgeball tossing ghosts. They had seen several members of the participating JROTC get slammed in the face by random dodgeballs. After they were hit, they suddenly disappeared without a trace, scaring poor Loz to the brink of no return.
"Aw man...I'm stuck with you guys?"
Larxene rushed towards them, holding knives in between her fingers. Loz yelped and she said, "Stupid, I'm not gonna cut you. I'm gonna cut the one who's been tossing dodgeballs at me!"
She ducked as another was tossed her way.
With Freya, Isa, Ven and Demyx...
The trio were standing on the roof of the Itoi factory, peering down a portal where they could see everyone. Isa looked on as Ven and Demyx cackled madly, tossing dodgeballs at just about everyone. They had no restraint, so he asked, "Why did you hit Eiko? She didn't do anything."
"She was a necessary sacrifice! Necessary, I say," Ven-Vanitas bellowed.
"Well, I was aiming for Marluxia and she was in the way," Demyx said.
"And they'll be fine. I just transported them back to their homes," Freya told him.
Isa rolled his eyes and muttered, "Hopefully no one will..."
"OY!"
The trio and ghost saw the group of Terra, Aqua, Angeal and Sephiroth running towards them. Freya muttered a few curses, saying how they had bypassed an illusion. Isa took note and wondered what was really going on in the factory.
"What are you three doing?" Aqua asked, not seeing Freya.
Ven and Demyx turned around and Ven went back to normal. He looked at the dodgeball in his hand and quickly tossed it. Demyx dropped his and said, "Please don't tell my mom!"
Freya, however, was enraged as she saw the four young adults and bellowed, "YOU'RE NOT TAKING AWAY MY FUN!"
Another shockwave overcame them, knocking everyone to the floor.
With the Jenova Brothers and Larxene...
"Stop throwing stuff at us!" Kadaj bellowed at the voice.
The voice laughed and said, "I can smell your fear."
Larxene readied her knives and muttered, "Please don't...That's so creepy."
Loz was in tears and Yazoo said, "We should keep moving. I'm sure that..."
A dodgeball sailed through the air, hitting Yazoo in the chest and sending him flying. He crashed onto the floor and disappeared, leaving behind sparks.
"Oh God!" Kadaj cried out.
Loz's crying became louder and Larxene yelled, "Shut up! Stop crying! We'll get outta here, ya big oaf!"
A crash shook the area and Larxene starting throwing her knives as multiple dodgeballs were thrown at them. Kadaj started shooting with the B.B. Gun and heard over the headset, "Guys! What's going on? WAAH!"
With Marluxia and Roxas...
Pointing his B.B. gun at some stairs and realizing he was running out of ammo, Roxas yelled, "I think I see something."
Another dodgeball was thrown from that direction and Marluxia yelled, "It's on the stairs! It's coming up the stairs!"
He started shooting and the voice laughed, saying, "No I'm not."
"Hey, you thought about it! You thought about it!" Marluxia shouted.
The voice then did something that was borderline cruel. It started singing the "Barney the Dinosaur" theme song. Marluxia dropped the weapon, closed his ears and Roxas said, "That's mean..."
Two dodgeballs flew from behind Marluxia, hitting the fuchsia-haired teen in the back of the head and legs. He fell forward, disappearing and leaving Roxas alone. Another was thrown at him, he ducked and took off.
"Keep running! Keep running!" he told himself.
He ran and dove into a room filled with file cabinets and a desk. Roxas's spirits fell and he said, "I'm in an office. Crud."
The teen felt someone standing behind him and bolted, stopping in a corner. He groaned and said, "I'm in a corner now. I'm dead. Rest in Pieces, Roxas..."
Red eyes stared at him and the evil presences lurked closer to him. Roxas panicked and said, "What are you doing? Why are you lurking like that? Why don't you just end it all and get this over with? Aah!"
He was then smacked in the face with a dodgeball and disappeared, joining the many that had fallen to the evil, dodgeball-throwing ghost.
With Larxene, Kadaj, Loz and Vivi...
The four ran through the abandoned factory, jumping over the occasional floor hazard and conveyor belt. The red eyed, dodgeball throwing ghost had taken out everyone else and they were the only four left. Poor Vivi watched as Braig, Lea and Zack tried to defend him, only to get pelted by dodgeballs.
Braig had been hit in the stomach, face and head and tripped over some debris as he disappeared. Poor Lea was hit in the back of the head and fell forward on his face. He disappeared moments later. Zack tripped over some debris and was pelted by several dodgeballs.
The remaining four were looking for an exit, hoping to get out of there before getting hit and disappearing into the unknown. To their horror, they found the exit, but it was covered by a black barrier. The ground shook and the sounds of swords clanging and someone yelling various battle cries were heard.
"Holy oil toss! Goodbye evil demon!" the voice of Angeal yelled.
"HI-WAAH!" Aqua's voice screamed.
"AQUA! ANGEAL!" Terra yelled.
Kadaj was confused as to what was going on as it sounded like they were fighting. He then heard a familiar voice say, "To the after realm!"
An explosion destroyed the barrier, but the four were caught in it...
A few days later, Prof. Sazh's classroom...
"So, Freya tricked us?" Yazoo asked.
Roxas watched as many of his friends, the JROTC, the Jenova Brothers and, surprisingly, Marluxia and Larxene, talk about what happened that Friday. None could remember what happened after getting hit, but only remembering waking up in their individual beds. Due to the traumatizing experience of being tricked by an evil ghost, Larxene and Marluxia decided on a truce with the three groups. Braig, however, didn't due to his wanting to protect his reputation.
Marluxia and Larxene were the same, saying that they wouldn't attack them, but were still willing to go after those who crossed them. Roxas sighed, thinking that their making a truce with them was a start.
"And Ven's siblings, Zack's cousin and the Jenova brothers' big brother saved us. They said something about Freya being a demon and how they fought her with Holy Water and the sword," Isa said.
"And I was put on punishment for helping and leaving the house so late without permission..." Ven said.
"Yeah! Why did you attack us?" Vivi yelled.
Demyx slumped in his seat and muttered, "Freya thought it'd be a good idea so no one would suspect anything."
Larxene sighed and said, "If this was her way in order for us to work together, then she did a somewhat okay job."
"Yes, we won't attack you for this offence and we do owe your siblings. So, we'll not mess with you, but if any of those others cross us..." Marluxia said.
"Then, you'll go after them?" Vivi asked.
"And the prank war will continue..." Yazoo muttered.
The two jocks left and Roxas believed that they would be able to prevent another prank war. As they left, Roxas heard a faint voice say, "I'm sorry. I just wanted everyone to stop fighting here over pranks and who's a jock or not...So, I'm sorry..."
Aw, Freya was just trying to help. But her brand of help probably wasn't a good idea...Review?
