Scene set after the end of miracle queen part 2, Marinette and Luka, Alya and Nino and Adrien and Kagami sit beside the river.
Adrien started to stare at Marinette and Luka sitting together. He kept on staring at them for so long that Kagami couldn't bare with it anymore.
"Hello Adrien, I'm here" said Kagami looking a bit frustrated
"I was just looking at the sun Kagami" Adrien quickly replied with a blushed face
Kagami couldn't stop but notice how Adrien was lying to her and was not fully committed to their relationship.
She decided to get up and go back home, it was getting late anyways.
"Where are you going Kagami?" Adrien yelled as Kagami was already halfway across the road.
Adrien got no reply and decided to sit on his own and look at Luka and Marinette playing each other songs. He felt as though he was missing something, maybe Marinette was more than a friend. But each time he thought of that, a tiny voice in his head kept him in denial. It was getting late and he was soon greeted with a bright silver limo and an angry driver telling him to go home.
***Adrien back home in his room thinking about his life***
Adrien was sitting on his desk chair and was helplessly focusing his eyes on his frozen laptop screen. He felt the urge to go out with his friends, but due to his over protected dad he was unable to leave his room and was greeted with endless hours of external boredom.
As he was contemplating his dim life, Adrien saw a bright ad pop up from the side of his laptop screen. His eyes lit up as he read it out aloud.
"Retrieve deleted video files fast and free".
Upon reading the ad his mind sparked and realised that he could retrieve the lost messages his friends sent him on his mother's one year anniversary of disappearance. He felt happy as he could finally get back the messages Felix had deleted from his phone and have some warm friendly memories to fill the void of boredom.
Within a couple of minutes, Adrien was able to plug in his phone to his laptop and retrieve the lost files.
However, there was a problem. The video ended up only having audio and no visuals. Adrien felt annoyed but thought it was better than nothing, he sat flat on his bed, plugged in his earphones and listened away trying to make out the voices of his supportive friends.
Adrien felt welcomed and delighted to hear the heart warming messages of support, he was able to make out most of the voices but when he heard the final message of 'I love you Adrien', Adrien dropped his phone onto his bed and quickly realised that soft subtle voice.
"Was that Marinette?" Adrien said to himself puzzled.
