Chapter Ten
Later…
After everyone visited with Don and Ryan, everyone turned their attentions to the Holden brothers and Archer, as they wanted to know what is going on.
"Ok, first of all, what is going on and how do you guys know the plans of the Marquez gang?" Colby asked, as he couldn't believe what the Holdens were saying, but first he wanted to know their story too
"Well, first I was kidnapped by Darin's people when I was thirteen years old as they wanted to recruit me," Roger said, who then shuddered at the memory
"And then ten years later, I was taken as well by some of his goons as well while waiting for the bus." Ron said
"Why?" Megan asked, "I know the Marquez gang has done some rather cruel things to get new recruits but why kidnap you two, as he usually only kidnaps younger children than you guys were."
"That's because Darin has been operating out of his father's radar for years," Archer chimed in, "He is far worse than his father in many ways, which ultimately lead Darin to eliminating his father before Marc could find a way to get rid of his son when he realized that Darin was a liability in the long run."
"What happened to Marc?" Megan asked, as she hadn't heard anything about Marc Thorne disappearing
"Darin shot him and got rid of the body several days ago," Archer said, "I don't know where exactly and you will probably never find him."
"Who else knows?" Colby asked
"Only his second-in-command, Jericho, and two subordinates who helped with the body, and they two have disappeared as well."
"We'll worry about that later," Megan said, "First, do you know where the attack will be and when it will be?"
"I do, the first place is the First Bank of LA, and it will happen tomorrow at noon if you don't find them first."
"Do you know where they are?" Colby asked
"Yes, at the abandoned Solo warehouse in the old wharf district," Archer answered
"Thanks, Colby, you and David set up a team while I wait here with the others for more news on Don and Ryan," Megan said
"On it," Colby said, but before he left, he had another thing to say to Archer
"I have a feeling that there is something else you haven't told us yet, and I want to know when I get back,"
"You have my word, Granger, I will tell you everything I know about the organization," Archer promised
"I'm going to hold you to that," Colby said before he and David left
Charlie was listening to all this and wondered that as well, what else is Archer not telling them and what would it cost them if they knew what it was.
'I have a strange feeling that we are not going to like what he will have to say,' Charlie thought
Deciding that he wasn't needed at the moment, Charlie went to his brother's room and wait for Don to walk up.
Whenever that will be.
