It had been a few days since Kevin left Gotham to go on his vacation in Bellevue. He enjoyed spending time with his mother, Andrea. It was quiet and relaxing. Little did Kevin and Andrea know was that this was the calm before the storm, for a deadly virus was about to destroy the world.
On one particular day, Kevin was using the bathroom to do his business. He'd left his cell phone on the couch in the living room. He was washing his hands when suddenly, Kevin heard his mother let out a blood curdling scream outside. It sounded like bloody murder. This startled and alarmed Kevin. His hands were soaked as he rushed out of the bathroom and asked, "Mom! What's wrong?!?!?!" He gave a look of concern.
What he did not know was that on Apokolips, Darkseid had corrupted The Anti-Life Equation, and it infected The New God. This corrupted Anti-Life Equation became a virus that latched onto Cyborg like a parasite. He was teleported to Earth, and the corrupted Anti-Life Virus turned into a techno-organic virus that latched onto the internet on every piece of technology that contained the internet. It started with Metropolis, and then spread onto Gotham. The Anti-Life Virus infected 600 million people, turning them into undead slaves to the corrupted equation. They were known as The Anti-Living. The Anti-Life Virus was only beginning to spread, and it spread all over America, and Bellevue, Washington was one of many to fall under this zombie-like infection.
The Anti-Life Virus had spread onto Kevin's cell phone, and Andrea made the mistake of looking into Kevin's smartphone. Once she looked at the corrupted Anti-Life Equation, the damage had already been done, the virus got into her head, killing her instantly, her blood curdling scream a death scream. Andrea Beaumont was no more. She was now a slave to the corrupted Anti-Life Virus. The Anti-Living husk looked at Kevin and hissed at him. "Mom...?" Kevin asked, starting to get scared, because Andrea's sky blue eyes were now lifeless and pale, her face was bloody from her vain attempt to tear the corrupted Equation from her head. She then attacked Kevin with the intent of infecting him, her arms thrashing at him wildly. "Mom, what's happened to you?!?!?!" Kevin asked as he dodged the undead monster's attacks, "Mom... I don't want to fight you! Please stop!"
But Kevin's pleas fell on deaf ears. The undead slave then bit Kevin on the left wrist. Kevin then pushed the monster away, mostly in self-defense. Kevin got out of the house, and into his car. As he started the car, Kevin looked at his wound and thought, "I don't know why Mom just attacked me and bit me, but this bite broke the skin... I better get to a hospital..." Kevin then started to drive. What he didn't know was that the adrenaline caused by being scared shitless was merely delaying the infection. Soon, it took its toll on Kevin. At first, Kevin thought it was just a splitting headache. But soon, the pain worsened. "Agh... What's happening to me?!?!?!?!" Kevin groaned in pain, "something's in my head!!! GOD, MAKE IT STOP!!! NYAAAAAAARRRRRRGH!!!!!!!" Kevin gripped his head and scratched his forehead while screaming in pain, trying in vain to get tear this infection out of his head. This caused him to crash the car. Kevin Beaumont was no more. The undead Anti-Living husk that was once Kevin Beaumont crawled out of the wrecked car, ready to spread the infection.
